My personal gripe:

People who go on tags to complain about what people choose to do in their fanfics, especially if it’s on the tags where you know writers are going to see it. (Ie: x reader, fluff, etc)

Then when most writers don’t feel as though they want to write anymore/ actually quit writing due to the stupidity and bitching of those people. (who actively read the fucking fic the whole way through like a little hate reading, brain dead, ungrateful little bitch who lacks a fully devolved frontal lobe)

Only for those people to once again complain that there’s no good fanfics out there, as if their words are law… opinions are one thing but to outright complain and be a cunt over a bit of writing choices you don’t like, nevertheless being downright nasty about it, is another thing entirely.

Most people write FOR FREE and in their own spare time because they want to. They write what they love and if you’ve got a problem with it, then fuck off elsewhere. If you’ve got nothing nice to say, then don’t say it but most of you grew up not knowing that phrase and it pisses me right the fuck off.

Grow up. Or don’t and stay an unhappy, ungrateful overgrown rodent who shouts at the rooftops for people to finally pay attention to you, since it seems like your parents never did.

You are responsible for what you read, not the people who just write for the love of it. Stop being entitled to what’s not even yours to feel entitled about.
