the true comic reading order is you just read the ones you’ve heard of and then you go online and find people saying stuff you can make neither head nor tail of and then you read the comics they talk about in their meaningless-to-you ramblings until you get a clue what’s going on

#it’s how i made sense of the dweu and By God it’s the way i’m gonna make sense of dc #admittedly i had a pretty good head start on dweu by virtue of having watched the show #and since batman is in like ten comics at any given time there’s not Exactly a Defininitive Batman Comic #i guess the title comic but sometimes they put Big Events into other comics so like #idk if it counts as THEE definitive one #maybe it does #i don’t have a fuck what’s going on
