My entire life suffering this dissonance of having the head and hair of an ethnically ambiguous mid-20s twink, stuck on top of the body of a voluptuous 30-something peasant mother of two who body-builds.

#Always heightened when visiting the hairdresser or barber #that black cape momentarily making me forget the bottom half #it’s been a versatile durable kind of body despite the joint issues and hypermobility but it just ain’t my body #whoever swapped it with me needs to take it back #There are times when I can’t wait until I’m fifty because in theory it’s all meaningless by then #At least having kids had no impact on my body because it always looked like I’d already had kids
