Today’s been a good day.

I’m finally getting to watch some spring training baseball, I got the Good Girl’s Guide to Murder series in the mail today, probably going to watch some NJPW and read more of my little western romance book (Kit McBride Gets a Wife).

Only chores left to do is put sheets in the dryer and clean the kitties litter box.

Oh! And I’m hoping to write some more of Tear in My Heart or Your Biker in Worn Leather or maybe something else?? 🤔

AND this time next week I’ll be in Branson for vacation 🤗

my car, the car that i only just bought in july of last year, my car that is still under warranty, both manufacturer and extended, has been having some concerning problems recently - lurching on acceleration, stuttering on braking. and it’s been making this sound that i can only liken to an elephant trumpeting reeeally quietly? idk, it’s weird. so i took it back to the dealership i bought it from to have it looked at. they said it had to go somewhere else, i said no problem. so i call the brand specific dealerships in the area and not a single one of the eight (EIGHT) in the basin have any availability until JUNE?!

respectfully, that shit stalled on me pulling onto the *highway*. look at my goddamn car??? this is a safety issue??? when it inevitably happens again it could kill me???

but i call the dealership near my dad’s house over three hours away and they can see me tomorrow? how am i supposed to drive an unreliable car that far through back country just to get it checked in a timely fashion? how is this tiny town and its one dealership more available than this boomtown and its eight? make! it! make! sense!

Went on a run

Painted my nails a pastel color for spring

Went on a 7 mile walk on this beautiful day

Had an impromptu phone interview that went amazing

Am starting dinner waiting for my bf to come home

As far as kids birthday parties go, pool parties held at a local hotel are pretty hard to mess up. This one went off without a hitch and everyone seemed to have fun. All the kids had an absolute blast and will sleep great tonight. And so will I. I’m exhausted and so grateful that I don’t have to worry about more birthday parties until December.

My energy drinks came in today and now I have multiple cases to go through instead of buying them separately.
