I’m also really struck by how Asa kept steadily losing pieces of herself to war - she was slowly meshing more and more into Yoru, lost first one arm then the second and then her mouth to Yoru. Lost everything that gave her some semblance of control and agency. And now she has her arms back, but they’re weapons, and her mouth, but it’s been reclaimed from Pochita not by herself but by Yoru. How much of Asa’s body still belongs to herself?
