sometimes the whole tolkien rolling in his grave comments from both lorebros & fans alike gets me laughing because im sorry i didn’t treat this man as jesus reincarnate or seat by his grave reciting his works

like i know of casual viewers who frankly speaking don’t know and care for the lore but they’re watching the show regardless (because it’s a piece of media put out for them to consume without needing to pass some test) and they’re all joking about the messy divorce of two immortals who are still in love anyway so where do we go from here
