#it’s a double edged sword because them working perfectly as narrative foils is one of the reasons they also work as a ship#I’ve written one and a half platonic fics and commissioned a couple platonic pieces of art#but the platonic fic is where I got one of the worst hate comments so I keep to my aged up romcoms these days#still would love to see a canon compliant platonic fic of them though#hey brightest you could be the one to write it just sayingggg you do write really well!
