Imagine if Callie had won Splatoon’s final splatfest. How different do you think the Squid Sisters' storylines would've been with this role swap due to their contrasting personalities? Also, would Callie have a podcast while Marie took on acting, or would it stay the same in this alternate timeline?

I always felt like the idea of an "evil Marie" was a cool concept. I feel like Marie going through a corruption arc makes sense for her character/personality and it's such a raw idea. Like the fan art of "Hypno Marie" as people dub her is INSANE! IT'S SO GOOD! People give her crazy outfits it's awesome.

In terms of story and what differences there would be. I feel like the Squid Sisters slowly breaking apart still happens and Marie is constantly overthinking her relationship with Callie after the final Splatfest. Maybe Marie has taken up modelling and acting while Callie is busy with blogging and podcasting. Marie is a heavy introvert and all of that insane attention would cause her to snap and run away from it all. And that's where she meets Octavio at some point.

Now, unlike Callie, Marie seems to have something against the Octarians and has adopted some of the viewpoints from her grandpa judging from her dialogue in Splatoon 1 and 2. BUT! This could just bad translation and maybe Marie doesn't hate the Octarians in the Japanese version as I've heard some people say but, I'm not too sure. I need to look into it more. I'm not a Marie expert, I'm a Callie expert lmao.

Maybe Marie doesn't trust Octavio and doesn't want to go with him to Octo Canyon at first, but maybe after some convincing and manipulation, she goes with him and sees that the Octarians are struggling. Maybe she's like "oh i didn't know your people were struggling, i had no idea, maybe i was wrong about them... I'll help you out."

Instead of Hypnoshades she gets a... uh... hypno gas mask idfk, and she breathes in this air that relaxes her and ensures that she doesn't suddenly change her mind and run away at random.

Callie taking up the role of teaching and guiding Agent 4 would be a very fun dynamic and maybe she's more vocal about Marie being missing and doesn't hide it unlike how Marie doesn't talk that much about Callie until sector 4.

Maybe Callie feels guilt and shame and she thinks that she was the one who caused Marie to go missing and we see that in side dialogue or something.

The final boss would be the same except the music is in reverse, so we get a Tide Goes Out remix and Callie is the one who sounds like she's about to cry when singing Tidal Rush while Marie is fighting back. That would be such a cool remix of Tidal Rush not gonna lie.

And then Callie throws a splat bomb at Marie's face to destroy the mask so she can snap out of hypnosis and Callie plays the Calamari Inkantation after a bit, blah blah blah. You know what happens.

Those were some ideas i had, i would love Splatoon to do an evil Marie at some point, but, I'm guessing that won't happen because Marie has already matured and grown and it wouldn't make sense to do it at this point. Oh well! At least we got fan art and fanfiction.

Mads' Race Recap!

Ok so this is a bit of a different race recap, since I was there at Silverstone this weekend and I got to watch the pretty cars and handsome boys go vroom vroom! So there are definitely things that I will have missed as they weren't show on the screens or it didn't happen right in front of me, so bear with.

Just want to also say what a brilliant weekend I had. It was truly awesome to see my literal hero (Chazzles Leclezzles) in the flesh and get to see him screw around with Carlitos all weekend. Watching the football with George and Lewis was also epic. Such a fucking cool weekend, I can't even describe it. I would post videos, but they all have me screaming in the back or giggling uncontrollably.

Red Bull - Right, if you had told me that this time last year, I would be cheering for Max Verstappen, I would call you a fucking dipshit. BUT NO. There I was, sat on a wall, screaming for Max to overtake Lando... look, it's all for Charles' points, OK? I want that P2 in the championship and I think it is the least that that man deserves, but we'll get there in a few. Anyway, how Max was faster than the fastest car on the grid on softs on the hard tyres himself is unreal and henceforth why he deserved that P2 more than Lando. And it was Lando's call to go for the softs so there is no one to blame but himself. Again, not who I'm meant to be talking about but I digress. Checo needs firing, OK? Just get rid of the man. This is the 47932874 week in a row that he has faffed it up. We're at a point where both Ferraris, both Mercs and a McLaren have won races, but not both Red Bulls? This guys seriously needs to step up or step out. Even with Charles' monumental fuck up (that was not his fault in the slightest), he STILL finished 17th. The only one behind him was ZHOU IN HIS FUCKING WHEELIE BIN ARE YOU KIDDING ME CHECO-

Ferrari - I went for Charlos, and Charlos is what I got. But they fucked Charles over so goddamn badly I cannot even describe to you how mad I was. I literally yelled 'the fuck are you doing it's sunny!'. There weren't any clouds incoming, they were a solid 4 minutes away. They tried to be clever and bring him in before everyone else, but they instead completely ruined his race and finished off an already shitty weekend for the poor guy. What else does he have to do? He has proven that he has the ability time and time and time again and they give him absolute bullshit like this and I have fucking had it. Charles is a world champion, but he's not going to be unless they get their shit together and start using more than a single brain cell between them. He had a great start, nice overtake on Lance, and then he got absolutely screwed. The amount of anger I felt was unparallelled. If I was him, I would've retired the car and quit right then and there. But he carried on like he always does, and gave it his all as usual. I adore him, it was so so so cool to see him drive, even if it didn't pan out how we all wanted. Also, Matt from FP1 (got to see them live, it was great) said he thinks Charles sold his soul to the devil for the Monaco win, and I agree. Meanwhile, on the other side of the garage, Carlos was doing pretty well. Qualis were disappointing, but not too bad overall. There was no point in trying to scrap Oscar, Oscar was a lot quicker. I would've liked the P4, but my boy got fastest lap so I will take that. Can I just say this man looked so done during the drivers parade like... he didn't want to be there. Anyway, I went all dressed in Forza Ferrari colours, might not have been the race we wanted for them, but I got to see Carlos in the Ferrari for the first and last time, so I won't complain. Forza Ferrari. Forza Charlos.

McLaren - Oscar could've 100% had a shot at winning that race if they hadn't pulled him in too late for inters. That's just how it was. He drove great just as he always does, if they had brought him in earlier, he definitely could've won. Lando came P3 on his own accord, he could've won. There were so many people with Lando merch on and I was like no people no. People were feral for this man. Everyone else had to sit on the same truck for the drivers parade, but he got to go around on his own little McLaren. Was pretty sick though I can't lie.

Mercedes - LEWIS HAMILTON OH MY GOD I GOT TO SEE HIM WIN AND I GOT TO SEE IT LIVE AND WE ALL CHEERED AND WE WATCHED THE FOOTBALL WITH HIM AND WE SAW HIM CRY AND ONTOP OF THE PODUM AND EVERYTHING IT WAS SO SO SO SO SO SICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a drive from Lewis, seriously. He did so well, so happy, loved hearing the anthem twice in a day. On the complete other hand, I could have sobbed for George. I nearly did sob for George. I saw him go into the pits and we all thought that he was pitting really early, but then his name dropped and he was out of the race. I was gutted for the man, seriously. Him getting pole was so cool but then he was out, just like that. I was so devastated, we all were. Thank you Lewis, for such an emotional win on home soil in front of the people that adore you the most. And thank you George for giving us all hope and being an absolute comedic genius.

Aston Martin - Got to see their HQ opposite the circuit, that was really cool. They did a lot better this week, which was nice to see. Finally a top 10 finish, but didn't see much of them this weekend.

VCARB/RB/REDBULLSHITTYEDITION - Again, didn't see much of these two over the course of the weekend. Yuki got points though! So that's always a nice little thing for him.

Haas - NICO HULKENBERG WHAT ARE YOU DOING THIS WEEKEND JESUS LORD. When he got a fastest time in... Q2 I think, everyone around us went 'what?' with a collective gasp of surprise. He overtook Lance and absolutely slayed, came out with 8 points, I was so happy. And I was just glad to see Kevin icl I have become a big KMAG fan as of recent and I love him. I want Kevin merch. I've decided I want Kevin merch.

Alpine - What a shit show. Got to see Pierre spin out right in front of me in FP3, so that was one of the best parts of my weekend. Then he just never came out. We were counting Alpines and only ever saw Estie so that was that. Estie did what he could have bless him.

Williams - They did well this weekend I can't even pretend like they didn't. Logan was close to points, Alex got some points, they did wonderful.

Kick Sauber - Zhou got into Q2, what a slay, great job. VALTTERI FINISHED IN FRONT OF A RED BULL LET'S GO JAMES IT'S VALTTERI AAKSDLASKDJASLDKJA

it was closing time at your floral shop, and you couldn't wait to finish your little surprise for peter before he came to visit you like always after closing time. you went to the back and checked on what else needed to be woven into your gift for him. you inspected it all around, and it seemed to be good, but you knew you could spruce it up some more to make it look amazing.

it didn't take very long for peter to get to your floral shop, he always made time to get here, and never failed to do so--even if he had other things to take care of on the way here. you heard the ringing of the floral shop's front door, signaling to you that peter came in. with a grin, you tucked the surprise for him away on a table in the back and walked over to greet him.

peter smiled the minute he saw you. "looking ever so gorgeous tonight, aren't you, love?" he teased you as he wrapped you in a hug. "and aren't you just so excited to see me?" you teased back, causing him to chuckle. "you know me, i love seeing you. especially with all these lovely floral companions of yours, how could i not?"

"well... if you must know, i do love seeing you, too. especially with the flowers." you said with a smile as you went into the back and brought back with you the surprise you had for him. "can you guess what it is?" you asked him as you hid it behind your back. peter grinned at your cheekiness as he placed his hand on his chin, deep in thought. "...i have no clue. i'm a private eye, not a psychic. i give up! please, do tell me what you've got there, darling." he said in an attempt to get you to spill what it is. and you, who always let peter get what he wants since he's such a sweetheart, gave in to him.

"okay, okay." you said with a giggle as you brought it up front and finally showed him what you've been working on for a few days now. peter was in awe at the flurry of colors on that little headpiece you made for him; there were so many flowers, notably those of the purple kind. "love..." he breathed out as you showed it to him with a cheeky smile. "it's for you, pete." you said as you handed it to him, with him going over all the parts of this beautiful crown you bestowed upon him.

"it's... a flower crown." you explained. "a flower crown..." peter repeated as he felt over the petals of some of the flowers in the crown gently, careful not to pluck them off. "it's so intricately designed, love... you really mean this is for me?" he asked in an excited, sort of breathless, voice. you nodded. "the abundance of purple and all your favorite colors... did you notice? that would've, hah, given it away, really..." you rambled as he smiled wider and wider.

"thank you, my beloved." he said as he handed it to you, and you tilted your head in confusion as he did. he got on one knee and bowed his head. "a coronation, isn't it? it's a crown, a crown to..." he trailed off as he thought of a title fitting for such a prestigious crown. "the king who's won my heart since the beginning." you finished as you gently placed the flower crown on him, with him beaming as soon as you did.

he stood up and blushed. "how does it look? how does 'the king who's won your heart since the beginning' look, dearest?" he asked as he wrapped you in his arms, with you smiling up at him as you pressed yourself closer. "you look... so beautiful. and i don't want to call you that long title," you said as his lips hovered over yours. you pressed your lips against his, in such an ardent manner that caused his heart to skip a beat or two. as you pulled away, you pushed his glasses back on his face and giggled. "i'd rather call you mine." you said as you caressed his cheek. "that is a fitting title for me, my darling." he said with a grin as he leaned in to plant another kiss on your lovely lips, they were kisses fit for a ruler, for the ruler over his heart that won him over and over and over again, without fail.

Hiiiii! Ok I was one of the lucky 24 people who got to do the meet and greet with Louis yesterday at the Phoenix show and I’m not sure how I’m still even alive to tell you this 🥲 I’m still not fully convinced that the last 24 hours were real because it felt entirely like a dream to me 😭

Everyone’s tags are killing me about not getting photos of his ankle 🤣 but to be fair, I think the majority of us just like completely blacked out. We also were truly only with him for a max of 5 minutes and he came out of nowhere we were all too stunned.

Like, please tell me you would’ve noticed his ankles were out when you got to meet the man you’ve been obsessed with for like 11 years and he is DIRECTLY right in front of me, a foot a way, looking into my eyes and saying “I’m gonna need you lot to scream really loud tonight because me voice is shit right now” and then having him sign your ticket and then having a seperate like 15 second conversation with him. I know ya’ll think you would’ve noticed but I promise you, you wouldn’t have 😂

My friend hugged him and she’s like yeah I legit think I blacked out 🤣 it was so so wild!

It was all just a whirlwind! It was for those of us who had won tickets to the Phoenix radio meet and greet in September that got cancelled. I literally never thought anything was going to come from it, and then two days before the show they were like “hey! Louis and his team agreed to do a quick meet and greet and group photo with you guys because he felt bad about having to cx the Phoenix event last fall”

Like 🤧🤧 he’s such a sweet heart! He didn’t have to go out of his way to make this happen, but he did out of the goodness of his heart - just when I thought it wasn’t even physically possible to love Louis more 🩵🫶🏼 I’m so thankful, I really didn’t think anything was gonna happen after they cancelled it last year, so I feel so incredibly lucky 🥹 (ALSO I GOT TO SEE THE GREY IN HIS HAIR UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL I ALMOST PASSED OUT)

Sure it would’ve been awesome to have a full Q&A with him and much longer to enjoy his calming and lovely presence, like everyone else who did the radio meet and greets did last year. But this was honestly so special to me and I will never shut up about it until the day I die 🤣 (also why no one noticed the ankles because it was so much shorter than the meet and greets that happened last year haha)

Finished JJK S1.

Woooo this fight scene with the song and editing fucked so hard. Had to be my favorite fight of the series so far. Nobara and Yuji worked great as a team, which I suppose makes sense because they kinda seem to run on the same wavelength. Like they'll always be screaming and yelling about the same things while Megumi is either indifferent or embarrassed about it lmao.

When Yuji asked Nobara if she felt bad about killing Eso and Kechizu, and she said no, but Yuji pointed out that Eso cried for Kechizu... I resonated with that sense of compassion Yuji has.

I'm glad Megumi actually won a damn fight at the end of the series. He's a cool dude. but his skills weren't quite up to snuff just yet, so I'm glad that Yuji's progress inspired him to be better. Or, really, he just kinda let himself go off the rails fully.

It's really interesting to me how a lot of the characters in this series are motivated by a particular person(s). Like Yuji and his grandfather, Nobara and that lady that her village chased away, Megumi and his sister, Kasumi and her little brothers, and Noritoshi and his mother.

Mahito just pisses me the fuck off. He was fine at first, but then when he wouldn't just die, I grew tired of him and his deranged giggles. And his whole talk of the soul and stuff. Like yeah yeah shut up.

I actually grew to really like Todo. I thought he was just some annoying brute at first, but when he fought Yuji and formed a sense of friendship/brotherhood with him, that's when I found him really fun. His clapping while fighting Hanami was sooo lmao. And his love for that celebrity girl is alskdja.

Nanami ofc is one of my favs so far. I already ranted about him earlier, but I like that he feels reliable and protective. He's just cool.

Wasn't sure how I felt about Toge until I got to see him in action. He's cool as well, and I want to see more of him in the future.

I want more Sukuna bro. Wish he talked more. Though I suppose maybe less is more in his case. It makes it more impactful when he does appear briefly. But I also won't be mad if he does come forth more frequently in the future. And I will also be thrilled if he's the one to end Mahito. I'll pay him to wipe that smile off Mahito's face.

Gojo is just a fun character. A badass who also acts as comic relief. I kinda like him better with his mask on though lmao his blue eyes are kinda intense.

Oh oh oh, I loved that moment when Nobara was fighting Momo and told her she could dress pretty if she wanted and be powerful. Like yeees! Duality~

All the techniques are pretty interesting. Megumi's lightning bird thingy is probably one of my favorites. Toge's ability is awesome in action. And I wasn't really sure about Nobara's hammer and nails, but her use of them, especially in the last episode, became more interesting.

...While looking up a character's name just now, I just stumbled across a spoiler... haha fuck you Mahito.

No but the Junpei situation was sad, and it was set up well enough that I felt okay about his death because I felt like it served it's purpose in motivating Yuji more. Like obviously it would've been nice if Junpei survived, but the tragedy of his life truly did serve as just, well, a tragedy. (That being said, fuck Mahito, all my homies hate Mahito.)

I don't understand why I'll be like 9 minutes into an episode and then all of a sudden the opening credits will randomly start playing. Like bro?? Why not just play that at the beginning?? I know I've been out of the anime game for a long time but surely that's not a typical thing in modern animes, is it?? Or was it always that way and I forgot??

Overall, I'm enjoying the characters and plot. It does drag a bit when the characters constantly have to explain their abilities or certain things about curses and such, but I suppose it's the same as sport animes when they constantly talk about new techniques.

The first time Quinn got drunk -- really drunk, properly drunk, more than "two illicit beers stolen from someone's billet dad where he pretended to like the taste" drunk -- it was his first week at Michigan. He had a Smirnoff Ice, and then a screwdriver with two and a half shots of plastic bottle vodka in it, and then the junior he was following like a baby duck started pouring things into a red cup without measuring, and then next thing he knew he was wobbling all the way home. Quinn still remembers that feeling of weightless joy, untethered to anything real. How he felt like he could do anything, be anything.

Tonight feels kind of like that.

"Shit, Quinn," Brady says, one arm looped around Quinn's neck, fingers caught in the ribbon of his medal. Quinn needs to focus on standing straight and still, because if he doesn't, he'll fall over and take Brady with him. That's an awful long way to fall.

It's hard to focus, though. Hard to devote his brain power to keeping both of them upright when Brady's fingers are tracing the curve of his neck, knuckles brushing the hollow of his throat.

"I can't fucking believe we're here," Brady says. He's leaned in close, has more than half his weight on Quinn. His breath is hot, smells like the shots they've been pounding like water seemingly since the medals got hung around their necks. They finally get to go to Worlds, and they win the whole fucking thing. Quinn and Brady won the whole fucking thing, did this together, the way they talked about it almost a decade ago. "Shit."

"Yeah," Quinn says. When he rocks back on his heels, he can’t move very far. Brady is so solid behind him. Like a wall, or a very tall tree. Unlike a wall, or a tree, Brady's warm, furnace-hot. If Quinn hadn't already sweat through his t-shirt, he would've by now just from Brady’s proximity.

"It's awesome," Brady slurs. His free hand gestures with his cup even as his other hand drags up and down Quinn’s neck, along Quinn’s shoulder. All the blood in Quinn’s body seems drawn there, magnetized. His skin is tingling. "I'm so glad I got to do this with you, you know? Got to win with you. Fucking -- incredible." When Brady turns his head, his nose brushes Quinn’s cheek. "I love doing this with you."

"Yeah?" Quinn asks stupidly. He can't think. Can't even concentrate enough to stay upright. Can only collapse back into Brady. Surrendering to gravity.

"Yeah, dude," Brady says. "Don’t you?"

Quinn nods. The room spins. His medal shifts against his shirt. "I love doing everything with you," he says, because it's true, because it feels right to.

Brady’s thumb digs into the muscle at the base of Quinn’s neck, the ragged nail catching on Quinn’s skin. It cuts through the heady haze of cocktails and confidence, makes Quinn wonder if he really can say anything. Do anything. He sucks in a breath, holds it.

Brady doesn't let go.

And also, I love how the little idea that MC can sort of "read" / look into people's memories post overblot was implemented here, I legit just pointed at the screen and went "AHA. 🫵 GREAT MINDS THINK ALIKE"

Aside from that,,, besides The fact that the chapters were appropriately labeled before being posted, I actually kind of predicted what MC might have asked for had they won hehe they're so wicked LMAO (which, speaking of, even if it's not relevant anymore, what would have been their score? I'm quite curious! But it's okay if you didn't think about that particular detail lol, there was a lot more to look toward to hehe)

AND OMG THE PARALLELS BETWEEN VIL'S DREAM AND THE ACTUAL SCENE AAAA I LOVE IT, I LOVE SEEING HIM LOSE HIS MIND LMAOO (also stockings????????? I had to take a walk for a moment 🫠🫠) and rook being an absolute menace when he puts two and two together 😭🙏god bless that freak

My unorganized thoughts about Hazbin finale because I am feeling all the feelings.

Positives

The songs? Absolute bangers. Both of them. The Chaggie "More Than Anything" reprise got spoiled for me but I still loved it. We stan a supportive couple ready to go to war together. The reprise for "Happy Day in Hell" at the end was a nice touch. Loved that it was Lucifer who picked up the slack to cheer up Charlie. Mans finally becoming the dad who stepped up.

The battle as a whole was awesome. Hot take, but if Adam didn't have the spawn infinite enemies cheat all bad guy armies seem to have in these situations, the Hotel definitely would've won.

I'll admit, I wasn't too jazzed about Sir Pentious replacing Mimzy in the main cast but he kind of redeemed (lol) himself for me this episode. Bro was both one of the funniest and most heartwarming characters in the finale get yourself a man who can do both. The unholy (lol) noises I made when he showed up as a redeemed soul in Heaven. Disgusted? Kinda tells us which one of these two really deserves the title of Big Good. Side note, but it's kind of funny how the only physical change a redeemed sinner goes through is that their color scheme is now pastel instead of goth.

Seeing everyone gear up and fight for the Hotel was cool, seeing so many Exorcists get axed off was cathartic as fuck.

Lute losing a part of her body because of Vaggie, just like she took a part of Vaggie's body was *chef's kiss*.

Lucifer Vs Adam and Lucifer just... not taking the fight seriously at all until Charlie almost gets hurt. He was really just toying with Adam for the entire first half and when he started getting serious Adam got trashed so fucking quick, I love it.

Charlie fucking shanking Adam and stopping his punch Just Like That. I lover her, she's such a badass. Sure wish we could've seen more of that (foreshadowinggg)

Vox acting as the greek chorus for the events of the episode works surprisingly well. Ngl I thought his constant commentary would get annoying really fast if they kept cutting away from the action just so he can say a funny. But no, they actually managed to time it pretty well. Props to Adam Stein (writer for this episode).

The Negatives (Yes, They Exist)

The other Vees did not need to be here. Seriously, we're starting off with Vox alone in his control room and we could've stayed there. Velvette and Valentino didn't even talk for the majority of the episode. And I'm not a fan of how Val continues to be played for comedy. Unfriendly reminder that this man is a r*pist and an abuser. If you needed a V for the funnies, Velvette and Vox are quite literally right there. (Can you believe Velvette had no lines this episode but fucking Val had both a speaking role and a not insignificant part of the ending song? Weak.) You can still have the ending scene of the Vees hanging out and planning after the aborted Extermination, literally nothing changes if you cut Val and Velvette from the cutaway gags.

Not a fan of how Lucifer stole the spotlight. "But you said you liked the Adam Vs Lucifer fight-" Yeah, I did. Doesn't change that this shouldn't have been Luci's fight, it should have been Charlie's. We've had hints this whole season that Charlie is actually way stronger and wrathful than anyone thinks and that she's actively working to keep up her cheerful and friendly persona. Her stabbing Adam with her trident was a nice start, but after Lute killed Dazzle and seriously endangered Vaggie, this should've been the moment Charlie decided "Alright that's it, no more Miss Nice Girl, I didn't want this to end in bloodshed but these assholes are going down." This should've been the moment where the gloves come off. How much more impactful would it be if Charlie was the one beating down Adam but stopping before killing him? If the show made it clear Charlie could murder this asshole, but she doesn't, because she's still better than he ever will be. What a way to show that Charlie truly does believe in the good in everyone or at least still believes in non-lethal solutions to the conflict between Heaven and Hell! But nope, Charlie gets two badass moments, then is banished to the side-lines and to the role of damsel Lucifer has to save and who has to be the metaphorical angel on Lucifer's shoulder who stops him from offing Adam (for some reason). If we needed to get Lucifer involved, maybe have him show up earlier to help the Hotel but get hurt somehow, forcing and motivating Charlie to step up as the future ruler of Hell. Speaking of-

Why the fuck was Lucifer so late to the fight??? Yeah yeah, I know, depressed shut-in, but in "More Than Anything" he literally calls Charlie "the only thing worth fighting for" in Hell. He knew the Extermination was coming. Yeah, maybe Charlie didn't tell him that the trial in Heaven went south and that Adam's Exorcists were going to target the Hazbin Hotel, but you'd think he'd have noticed something was up??? More importantly, if he really wanted to support Charlie's dream of saving the sinners in Hell, why didn't he take part in the battle from the start??? Why didn't Charlie ask him to fight alongside her??? Yeah, Charlie is reluctant to ask Lucifer for anything because they don't have the best relationship, but we've had an entire fucking episode of them growing closer and Lucifer assuring Charlie he'd help her. And this wasn't just a matter of pride, Charlie's friends and her girlfriend were in danger of getting killed, you're telling me she'd choose her own hang-up over all of them??? "But if Lucifer was there, the fight would've been over too quick-" refer to the previous point. Angels can be hurt and killed by angelic weaponry, there were like over a hundred Exorcists on that battlefield and don't tell me Adam would be above fighting dirty by attacking while Lucifer is distracted. There. Easy way to take Lucifer out of the fight and make way for Charlie.

Not a fan of how Cherri Bomb x Sir Pentious was bullrushed in this last episode. Yeah, we established Pentious likes her, but Cherri had like no interest in him until Angel commented he might have two dicks. Which, I guess her being after a purely physical relationship could work, but we all know that's not what Pentious wants. Their "romance" gives "He Was a Boy She Was a Girl" vibes. Like Velvette and Valentino, nothing in the episode would've been lost if that particular plot-line was dropped.

"The future of Hell belongs to the Vees" Yeah but does it though? Does it? Sorry, but I'm having a hard time taking these three seriously as a threat. Vox got effortlessly trounced by Alastor (and contrary to what the Vees believe he isn't missing, he came back), Velvette talked a big game about fighting the Exorcists but then did absolutely nothing and Val would eat dirt so fast against anyone who can actually fight back. Plus "Overlords hanging by a thread"? Which Overlords, exactly? Alastor? He's not dead and like previously stated, he's not 'missing'. Rosie, Carmilla, Zestial and the rest of the Overlords are just fine, the Extermination was centered around the Hazbin Hotel this time, no other turf even got scratched. "Nature abhors a power vacuum" What power vacuum? Again, no Overlords even died! No territory outside the hotel was destroyed! Are they just on a high from Alastor's supposed disappearance? I hope that's it, because otherwise damn, you three fucking suck at being Overlords.

It hadn’t taken Henry long to start rambling. Get the man to talk and he’d never stop, but Matt wasn’t protesting. Most of what he was saying flew right over Liz’s head- she was staring through her uncle like he wasn’t there, while Cassidy wasn’t doing much better. Evan understood some of it, but he was still struggling to comprehend all the information. Admittedly, it was a lot for him to wrap his head around. Charlie was following along alright, but from how she was watching her father, she’d have loved to be doing anything else. To Matthew however, Henry’s ramblings sounded awfully similar to motion capture.

Walt Disney had done it first with animatronics more than ten years ago, but still, Henry… He was so casual about having recreated literal motion capture!! And to a level that surpassed any existing technology in that niche field!

He’s way too nonchalant about his achievements. Like, man, don’t downplay what you’ve built- you’re so awesome for doing something like this, is what the boy wished he could’ve said.

To think that this was the in-universe explanation for why the next gen animatronics were less mobile than the Springlocks despite being newer…

“-Now, the voice lines are played over a speaker as Bill performs so he can react accordingly. It’s all done live, and it has to be in one take or we start from scratch. 13 July, KC @ BOS, 0-5, win

That's better. In fact, that was one of the most fun games of the year. That was due, in no small part, to Youk and Pap joining OB in the booth. They were so much fun to listen to. Pap is basically every bit the person you think he's going to be. Yeah, we didn't walk a lot and struck out quite a bit but I really can't complain. We beat a playoff rival, prevented the possibility of a sweep and introduced the possibility of a series win, we beat one of the best pitchers in all of baseball at the moment and there was some great baseball played. Played by us at least. Which is what I want to see, to be honest. Also, it was an afternoon game so I got to watch it live without staying up until three in the morning. So, what I am trying to say, is that there were a lot of bright sides.

Kutter Crawford (still his real name) attacked the strike zone again (85% strikes!!!) and threw a peach of a game. He went 7+ (didn't last an out in the eighth but I forgive him) and gave up 2 (should've been three but the umps called what should've been a hit an error) hits, one walk and struck out six. The fielding was strong behind him, too (that error call was bullshit) and they kept it clean. 85% strikes, man. That is awesome.

Zack Kelly had a bit of a hiccup in the ninth but kept the board clean, inheriting a runner and no outs in the eighth and locking shit down, immediately getting a double play and saving the day.

Dom Smith is playing great first base. I feel it is important to mention that. I know I have before, but as he's a veteran among a young and athletic crew, he needs to get the credit he deserves. He fielded brilliantly, making a grab on an amazing but slightly off-target throw from Raffy (Raffy's grab was amazing, and a lesser third baseman making that grab would've just settled for preventing extra bases) and keeping his foot on the bag in full extension to get the out. He also came up big at the plate. He went 2-for-4 with a run scored and 2 RBIs on a big hit in the bottom of the third that gave the Sox the breathing room they need. He played great today.

Raffy went two-for-four as well, with a ridiculous dinger off the top of the barrel of the bat that I don't even think he realised it was a homer at first. I don't think any of us did. As he passed Jason Varitek on the list of career homers with the Red Sox, it was Varitek that put the homer medal on Raffy's neck when he got back to the dugout, which was really cool. Also he played third base great (unjustly charged with an error on what should've been a hit) and his first hit of the game was one of the few that went into left field. A very small dip (not a slump) seemed a distant memory by the end of the game.

Jarren Duran went 2-for-4 with a ridiculous bunt straight to the pitcher that he turned into a single by being fast as fuck. He also then was thrown out trying to steal second just after that but it was still impressive.

Reese McGuire also bunted successfully, caught a good game, knocked in the first run of the game and went 2-for-4.

Masa Yoshida got a hit and scored a run.

Wilyer Abreu, still trying a bit too hard at the plate, managed to go 1-for-4 with a RBI and a run scored anyway.

Ceddanne Rafaela went 0fer but played great short again, including making a leaping grab above second to make a remarkable out. He's distilling into one hell of a player. Not his best plate day though.

We won that game and it felt good.

We're back in sole possession of the third wild card spot.

We can win this fucking series and go to the All Star game feeling totally fucking awesome. Let's fucking go.

I admit I didn't really like SasuKarin back then but I decided to give it a chance after reading On Sasuke Uchiha and his bonds with Itachi Uchiha, Naruto Uzumaki, Karin Uzumaki and Sakura Haruno and your posts concerning them. I still don't ship them but my opinion has changed of it a lot and I actually think those two had a better chance at becoming a pair. But I think what raised my respect for it even more was their fan children. I have a soft spot for fan children so it's not really a surprise, but they are all so cute and beautiful! My personal favorites are Akari Uzumaki and the U-Twins! Speaking of the U-Twins, you and Pumiih did an awesome job on them! They look so cool and mysterious just like their parents and I love what they are meant to represent! They're hairstyles also remind me of Madara so that's funny to me lol. I also really like the idea of Sasuke growing his hair out into a ponytail to honor Itachi. The side shavings on his hair makes him even cooler in my opinion. I also noticed something. I don't know know how to properly explain it but I'll try. We see more male Uchiha clan members than female (despite there being some such as Naomi, Izumi, and Mikoto) and we see more female Uzumaki clan members than male (despite there being some such as Ashina, Nagato, and Naruto). It's almost as if those certain genders hold the more importance. So I think it's interesting that it's reversed with the U-Twins. Sorry if I didn't explain it well (couldn't really find the right words) but all in all, I'm excited to see what you'll do with them in the future, make sure you don't rush, take your time and rest, and again, awesome job! 💜❤️

I want to say this is one of the messages that definitely won my heart because you SAW what I meant to do. You explained everything PERFECTLY! That's exactly what I wanted to do. A "gender roles swap" to show that change that is meant to bring in more ways than one.

Because while I do express these changes through my preferred ships, I never really forgot about the CORE elements of what made the Naruto story so beloved, and one of that is the clans & the shinobi system.

Their design have a thought about element from the very strand of hair to their overall design... I don't know if you know me for a long time or not, but one of the things I'm obsessed about is symbolism. So when I create something, there's a symbolic meaning behind almost everything!

When studying Literature, symbolism has been one of my favorite parts. I just love how one can transmit certain themes, ideas, beliefs etc in a symbolic way.

I feel as if this manages to stay with the reader/viewer better. It somehow enters your soul.

Being part of the Shinachiku Kosen team & doing Kaika myself, I can tell you that both Akari & the U twins have a great deal of symbolism behind them & were created with much love.

I know people don't taste SK that good, especially given how the great metas of the past about them has been lost. I only touched in that analysis you mentioned like a small, surface-level way.

If you would've been here in the past when Skania or Homusubi wrote their metas (both great known names in the SK fandom), you would've at least been able to understand where the SK fandom comes from. Or came. There aren't many left anyway.

Yesterday we had our pauper event fire off with a whole TEN people I'm very happy, it's the most we've been yet :) Before, we were mostly 4-6 people. These days we're more around 6-10, which is awesome

I was playing Dimir infect as you can see! The list is in the alt text.

This deck is a lot of fun, and in many ways more consistent than mono green. However, here were my match ups, went 1-2 overall.

VS Bogles, 1-2. Was on the draw, lost the 1st one cause I couldn't go quick enough. Second one, I resolve a stinger, put a 5/1 sticker on it t3, opp doesn't find an answer, scoop. Miss played g3 : I wanted to get some life back and offensively used unexpected fangs on my dude. However I had forgotten about Ram Through and my creature was removed. I was not quick enough to rebuild and I lost this way. This was very winnable however!

VS Boros synth, 1-2. Here I know opp has a lot of removals : journey to nowhere post board, but also 4 bolts, 4 galvanic and 3 foundry helix (I was lending the deck so I know the decklist very well ahah). I tried my best to protect my things, however I made several slight mistakes. Similarly I was on the draw and won one game by being able to pass through my opp unhindered. Last game I had a moment of confusion and tried to protect an attacker from a krark clan shaman with Apostle's blessing. However! I had other creatures and blessing is actually a card I should use on offense! I would've been able to win if I had done it like that. Too bad but we'll, I'm learning!

VS Boros, 2-0. My sole win of the evening! Same principle as the last match BUT I had just learnt from my mistakes so I made better plays. Opp was also unprepared for infect and had a hard time adjusting to the threat. Game 2 I just kept a kind of greedy hand : no creatures, yes! But island and 2 ponders... And you know what they say, island ponder = keep! And I was able to stack my deck in such a way that I never missed a land drop, got a creature, AND godly protection. 3 Apostle's blessing and 2 dispels, as well as 2 command performance! I had everything to shrug off my opp's removal and attack without fear, which just got him.

I had a lot of fun even tho I lost the two first matches. Now what I've got to do is get more experience with it, notably with sideboarding. I have a kind of hard time figuring out how to sideboard here because I feel like I can keep my entire deck ahah, everything is relevant! I have a lot of leeway for improvement.

The world juniors have been so bad for my country :(( I'm from Latvia, and we've only won against Austria. Im just mostly sad for the boys (i literally can't watch sports games, i get way too sad for the losing team lmao)

AnYWay, do you remember the 2021 world championship where Latvia WON in the opening game against canada?? Bc that moment is just BURNED into any Latvian's dna. Like we WON against CANADA. THERE WERE CELEBRATIONS IN THE STREETS (we probably would've partied in the streets of Rīga the whole night, but there were covid restrictions, unfortunately, so it was kept to a minimum. BUT THERE WERE PEOPLE IN THE STREETS)

AND, fun fact, Latvia is one of the only three countries in the world where ice hockey is the most popular sport!! The other 2 are Canada and Finland obvs. So like. We LOVE hockey too, but our souls hurt every day because we aren't as good as you guys. (Except that time we won in 2021)

ALSO a game burned into every latvian's memory FOREVER is that 2014 Sochi Olympics game against Canada. Like. I cried so fucking much that night lmao. EVERYONE was watching the game. And we ALMOST won. Like the pure fucking suspense of sitting through that game, most of the time on 1-1. And that one moment, where Gudļevskis made an insane save to begin with and then Kristaps Sotnieks just fucking reached and pulled the puck away from the goal line??? When he couldn't even fucking see anything? And the puck was already ALMOST over the line??? Core memory of mine. Literal chills just thinking about it. Insane.

And im so close to crying just THINKING about how we lost it. Like. WE WERE SO CLOSE. JUST A FEW MORE MINUTES. Like if we had gotten to the shootout im CONVINCED we would've won. Gudļevskis was a freaking awesome goalie and i WILL fight anyone who disagrees.

And like worst part is that we really did our fucking best and all the guys played as well as they could. There's no one to be angry at. No one even thought we'd do that well. Everyone was surprised by the 1-2 bc it was expected that we'd lose by so much more. It was a good game. That doesn't change the fact that everyone in Latvia cried afterward. LIKE AHHHHHH

Okay long story short, our hockey history against canada is a SENSITIVE TOPIC. We will fight you if you imply anything bad about our boys in those games. Not a threat, just a warning (itstotallyathreat).

Also i totally get having loses that you can't let go of. My NHL team is the Habs (Montreal Canadiens) and like two years ago they went on a cup run and lost to Tampa Bay and like. I have never recovered. I hate Tampa Bay an unjustified amount. Also any time I see edits from that season I cry. Like. They got so close. And Carey Price DESERVED THAT CUP. HE DESERVED IT. UGH. And yeah, honestly I always feel bad for the teams when they lose no matter who they are (unless they're America, sorry I can't, the rivalry runs too deep, but literally everyone else), like you see their little faces, and they're so sad, they tried so hard, and I just wanna smush their lil cheeks and be like "buck up buddy, you'll get 'em next time" Honestly, so pumped for the Czech Republic and their win against Sweden, because they haven't won gold in like twenty years (I don't think they've played in the finals either) and I don't think anyone really thought they were gonna do much in this tournament (everything I heard was all Canada Finland USA) So like yes, I want Canada to win gold, but if the Czech Republic pulls this off I will honestly be a little proud of them - I love an underdog

So how was Combo Breaker?

Combo Breaker was awesome. Probably the most fun I've had in my life, actually. I got to talk to a lot of friends, new and old, and even got to be on Sajam's "Will it kill...?" where I got to be wrong as fuck about a Street Fighter 6 clip!

It was kind of a surreal experience at times. I spent most of day 1 meeting up with my out-of-state friends, specifically the Ohio Vampire Savior community. Everyone was in high spirits and we got together several times to go smoke or run some sets throughout the day. I had some really close matches in my stacked as fuck Guilty Gear pool, but ultimately went 2-2. I'm satisfied with my performance though, especially in the Baiken mirror I had to fight against a much more experienced Baiken player.

I was also absolutely SERVING all 3 days

Day 2 was a lot more of the same, I had 2 pools that day and was only prepared for one of them. I had a terrible time waking up for my 10am VSAV pools but I managed to put on the bat dress and tough it out anyway. Won my first match against a player whose name I knew from online fightcade tournaments, and from there I was fucking pumped!

After that, I had to fight a player who I'd never taken a game off of in my life: TankTopTyphoon. He is an excellent wolf player and I somehow did the impossible and had a very close 1-2 set with him. Again, I've never taken a game off of him before so this was an accomplishment for me!

I wound up getting team killed by another Team Tengu member and got knocked out of bracket from there. I still had a lot of fun and it was great to know I'm not fucking free anymore. Vampire Savior saw me coming out 2-2.

The last pool I had was at noon for Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown. Now, first thing's first: I fucking ADORE Virtua Fighter. My problem with this game is the netcode is ass and it requires CONSTANT practice to see any notable improvement.

I had not played this game in about a year.

So I sandbagged and went 0-2. Moving on.

Going into the night, I decided to get fucking wasted and enjoy Real Vampire Hours which is basically a winner-stays-on set of first-to-2 that goes until the production team decides to go to bed. This one was real special though because for the final match of the night/morning I got to be on commentary with the guy who got me into the game in the first place. If you know, you know, but if you don't let me tell you that YetiGhettoSlang is possibly one of the most fun commentators to ever pick up the mic. Man says shit that sends my sides to the moon and I love him to death.

Day 3 was another special day because it was finally time for Vampire Savior top 24 which was fucking hype. I highly recommend watching the VOD if you're at all interested in the game. I was screaming and cheering the whole time and ruined my voice in the process but, hell, it was worth it!

We also got into some funny shit over the weekend like running a Beyblade tournament, taking a few friends to Portillo's for the first time ever, basically just going goblin mode for a few days and forgetting about work and responsibilities for a while.

Overall, it was a great weekend like I said before. I had my best tournament record ever, something to finally be proud of. It was also the first time I'd had a week to myself in over 6 months since the death of one of my closest friends, and I feel like I was finally able to get together with some of the other people close to them and process some of that grief with them. I like to think we made this a tournament they would've been happy to see, a true SWANbo Breaker 2023.

Anyway, things kind of immediately took a turn for the worst when I got home. After 3 whole years of avoiding it, I got bodied.

I'm recovering right now which is why it took so long for this post to come out but I'm also still in Hell.

I've just been sitting around waiting for my smell and taste senses to return to me and playing Fortnite while I wait for my copy of Street Fighter 6 to show up.
