idk how to say this but sometimes some things are played as a joke and aren't meant to be taken seriously
#like i know people smarter than me have the actual words for what i mean but you know how sometimes you watch a battle shonen and#a character knocks out another one as a joke and youre meant to see it as a joke#when in the same ep a villain can knock out the same character the same way and you're meant to see it as the character getting harmed#it would be dumb to perceive the jokey dynamic the same as the protagonist x antagonist one#anyway what i mean is i dont think the 118 are being asshole with their reaction to buck's dilemma unless the show decides to address it#that way#yall cant get upset on behalf of a character if the show doesnt make the active choice to explore that aspect#(they still can btw the arc is not wrapped up yet but some of these takes are weird as hell to me)#it's getting into tommy was being rude flirting with buck when bobby is in the hospital territory#TO ME
