Hate this stance. Scams like these rely on the very poor and desperate also it's not just "le silly idiot gets burned" and to victim shame that is just weird.

VERY funny, and telling, that everyone was unaware this scam was EVEN HAPPENING until it got big and called out - where were you before? Where was your knowledge to bestow on all these "dumb dumbs who got scammed"?

It shifts blame away from the orchestrators just because you feel Oh So SmArt because you saw through it AFTER it happened.
