Draco Falls First Fic Recs
I made this rec list when someone in a server asked for fics in which Draco falls in love with Harry first. I love pining, & this scenario is the perfect setup for it. As a result, I had rather a lot to choose from, but here are ten that made the cut this time.
The Unbearable Burden of Caring & it's sequel Sins and Scars and Shattered Things by Tessa Crowley (E, 22,189)
Thoughts: These fics both ruined me. They were so damn good that I could have wept from the sheer beauty of the prose alone. I swear I must've spent half of them clutching a tissue in anticipation of breaking into ugly sobs every five minutes. They were romantic & beautifully poignant; even the smut was so emotionally charged that I was left spellbound. I highly, highly recommend them both.
you've got the antidote for me by Kandakicksass (E, 20,730)
Thoughts: My heart was breaking for Draco before I even got through the summary. This soulmate fic is recced a lot & with good reason. It's still one of my favorites, & I reread it quite often.
Dragon Heartstrings by JET_Playin (E, 23,825)
Thoughts: Admittedly I'm a sucker for soulmate fics, so here's another for you. I liked how the author covered Draco's experience with seeing the red strings that indicated soulmate bonds throughout the years, briefly touching on his early childhood & skipping through his years at Hogwarts before settling into the meat of the story during his & Harry's eighth year at school. This is another one that I've reread several times because I just enjoy it so much each time.
Beating Out of Time by Moss_Man_Writes (E, 73,574)
Thoughts: I was sucked in from the very beginning, & I loved Draco's POV the most. The pining on Draco's part was perfect, & watching Harry fall in love with him was just enchanting.
The Butterfly Kiss by triggerlil (T, 1,998)
Thoughts: This is the shortest of all my recs, but it's by no means less engaging. The ethereal atmosphere of the whole thing left me breathless. Draco as a butterfly was something I'd never seen before, & even though I knew fairies were sometimes viewed as butterflies by unsuspecting mortals, I never would've thought of it as a premise. It was such a gorgeous soulmate AU (couldn't help myself). Draco's pining for Harry throughout was heart-achingly beautiful, too.
The Shape of the World by bixgirl1 (E, 48,276)
Thoughts: Memory loss fics often guarantee a healthy dose of angst, & this is no exception. Harry being the one afflicted did provide the perfect setup for Draco to fall for him first, though. He was probably already a bit in love with him before he ran back into him, to be honest, haha. This is by my favorite Drarry author, & rarely is there ever a time one of her fics doesn't make it onto a rec list of mine.
The Light More Beautiful by firethesound (E, 81,255)
Thoughts: Draco was so clever & creative in this, & the way he felt about Harry took my breath away. He appreciated the exact things about him that make me love Harry so much as a character, & it was probably my favorite thing about this fic. The pining was achingly lovely, the banter & teasing were fun, & the smut was scorching hot. firethesound is one of the most popular Drarry authors to date, & this is probably my favorite fic of hers.
The Lily Spell by pickledghost (E, 86,512)
Thoughts: Okay, fair warning, this is an Omegaverse fic & the author is up front about the fact that Draco's characterization isn't standard to canon or even most of fanon. He was so sweet that I just couldn't get enough of him. It's also an AU in which there was no second war with Voldemort, & I think it had a very believable interpretation of how Harry might've turned out under those circumstances. He was still very much himself at his core, just more confident & self-assured, in my opinion. The slow burn was so well done that I didn't even notice the passage of time while I was glued to the story. It hooked me in & kept me invested from start to finish.
Pop Up Pals by bambimoss (E, 62,447)
Thoughts: I cannot believe I almost forgot to add this fic. I read it twice in a row. That's how much I enjoyed the story. Draco being so lonely broke my fucking heart. Seriously, I think someone would have to be a sociopath if they couldn't empathize with Draco's experiences here. Surprisingly, I laughed a lot at this, & I also cried like a baby at one point. The characterizations were amazing, & the fic was jam-packed with emotion. It was absolutely stunning, & nothing has managed to knock it off of my top ten favorite Drarry fics list despite some very close contenders since the first time I read it.

Hey can u do a love triangle between the reader gavi and pedri <3 xx
A/N: ok this one really made me soft. And when I reread it to proofread it made me sad 🤣
Please give me all of your feedback. This is probably one of my favorites I have written if we are being honest.
Warnings: none
Update: Prequel, when reader and Pedri merry can be found here!!!
•••
You could feel Pedri’s stare piercing through you as you and Gavi sat across from him waiting to go into the movie theatre. It had surprised you he had accepted to go out with the group despite not having a date and now you wished he would not have came along. He was making it all feel awkward. Gavi was completely oblivious to Pedri looking.
A few months back Pedri and you had met. There had been flirting back and forth but he always sent you mixed signals. Minus a heated makeout session after he offered to take you home from Val’s party, nothing else had happened. He had asked Val for your phone number which resulted in random messages every few weeks. After a few weeks you decided to step away and not get your hopes up. You were attracted to him but knew he was too invested in his career and you would end up broken hearted.
In contrast, Gavi went all in. Two weeks ago you and Gavi had ended up at the same event. That night he had asked for your phone number and here you were on your first unofficial date.
The next afternoon as you were walking to catch the metro after your last uni class you heard a honk. You turned around and saw a green mini copper nearing you. It was Pedri. You leaned into the passenger window. “Hola Pedri.” He smiled. “Going home?” He asked. “Yeah.” “I’ll take you, it’s on the way.” He had just finished some meetings at camp nou which was about five minutes from your school. Sitting in the car with him gave you butterflies because it reminded you of the night you two made out.
“Did you like the movie yesterday?” You asked as a way to break the ice. “I did, you?” He asked with his eyes fixed on the road ahead. “It was good.” You responded. It took Pedri less than a second “Did you watch it? I thought you and Pablo spent the whole time sucking each others faces.” Ouch. Pedri had sat at the opposite end of the row from you and Gavi, you didn’t think he had noticed. “And? Are you jealous or something?”
Your question caught Pedri by surprise. He stayed quiet for a moment. “And what if I am?” He said and you could feel your heart being to beat extremely fast.
Pedri remembered the way to your home. He pulled up to the same spot where you two had made out that first night. He stopped his car and looked over at you. “So what’s going on with you and Pablo?” Part of you wanted to tell him it was none of his business but another part of you was intrigued.
“I guess we’re casually dating. I don’t know.” You said. Which was true, you weren’t exactly sure where you and Gavi stood. You knew you liked him though. “You like him?” Asked Pedri. And the truth was he wasn’t sure why he had asked that. Pablo had become his best friend in the short time they had known each other. He knew he couldn’t betray him even if he had seen you first. “Maybe.” You said. But before Pedri could say anything you added “But I also like you.”
Your eyes met and despite his good intentions Pedri couldn’t fight off his desire. He leaned in and kissed you. When you two parted away you were lost for words. His kiss was just as you had remembered. Unfortunately before you could say anything Pedri proceeded to say goodbye. “You’re home safe Y/N, I’ll see you around.” You took the hint and got off of his car. Before you even made it to your front door Pedri had already sped away.
The next day Pedri, Gavi, and the rest of the team were flying out for a game. Pedri like always sat with Gavi. “What are you smiling like that for?” He asked Gavi who was looking at his phone. “It’s Y/N” said Gavi as he waved his phone in front of Pedri’s face. “You really like her?” Asked Pedri.
What Pedri wanted to hear was that no Gavi did not like you. That he just wanted to have fun because then it would be easier to tell him to back off because he had claimed you first. “It’s weird,” said Gavi bringing Pedri out of his thoughts. “I really do think I like her.” Pedri smiled politely at Gavi despite burning with jealousy inside. If he had just told you how he felt about you months ago this wouldn’t be happening. If he had told Gavi why he was acting weird every time he asked, this wouldn’t be happening. But he didn’t. And it was happening.
As soon as the team landed in Madrid Gavi messaged you. Seeing his messages made you smile with anticipation. As you were responding to him you realized another message had came in, this time from Pedri. You opened the message history for Pedri which showed his last message had been three weeks ago. “He’s really into you.” Read the new message.
You had waited long enough to where you knew Pedri would be in his room when you decided to call instead of message him back.
“Y/N?” He answered. “Are you alone?” You asked. “Yeah.”
“I know Gavi’s into me.” You said very matter of factly. Pedri scuffed. “That’s what you called me for!” He asked. “No, I-“ You stuttered. “I called you because Pedri I was head over heels for you and you did nothing about it. How was I supposed to know you liked me? It’s not really fair now.”
“Well now you know.” He said. You could tell he wanted to say more but he didn’t. “I like you too Pedri.” You whispered. Pedri was annoyed because no matter how much he wanted you he knew he couldn’t have you. It would end his friendship and shatter Gavi. He’s liked you but he was a loyal friend. “Don’t.” He said. “I want to see you when we get back, if that’s okay.” You agreed you would meet with him once the team was back in Barcelona.
That night you and Gavi talked on the phone until the late hours of the night. Pedri made you feel safe but Gavi made you feel adventurous and free. It was a Jekyll and Hyde thing.
A week later you found yourself waiting near your university for a green mini copper. When you saw Pedri approaching you waited to get in his car and he drove off. He was silent most of the car ride. He held on to your hand as he keeps his eyes on the road. And despite being silent that little gesture told you so much. “Where are we going?” You asked Pedri.
“On our first and last date.” He said. Pedri drove up to Montjuïc where you two could get lost in between the crowds. He held your hand as he led the way. He showed you his favorite view of the city and you walked through the gardens.
“What are we doing?” You asked him as the two of you sat on a bench. “What do you mean?” He asked. “What is all of this, Pedri?”
He sat there in silence. Then he turned over to you and took you in for a deep and long kiss. “That’s the last time I do that, I promise.” He said.
“Pedri. Pablo asked me to be his girlfriend last night.” You said as you bit your bottom lip. “I know.” He responded. The truth was that Gavi had planned his proposal during the plane ride back to Barcelona. He had asked Pedri, his best friend, for advice. Which was why he had brought you a bouquet of your favorite flowers. Which Gavi had no idea what they were but Pedri remembered.
“That’s why I said this would be our first and last date.” Said Pedri with a low and defeated tone. “He’s a great guy, Pablo. He’s head over heels for you.”
“Why Pedro? I waited days for you to call me after we made out and nothing and when you did reach out you didn’t mention anything.” You didn’t realize until that moment that you had some bottled up resentment for him. “I got scared.” He said. “I want to focus on my career and that night you really made me doubt if that should be my priority.” He explained.
“So what now?” You asked. He looked at you with a piercing look that sent shivers down your spine. “Now you’re Pablo’s girlfriend.” He said. “And I lost my chance.”

a reminder that Rafe uses the alias Adrian in this story
It’d been almost two weeks before you spoke to Adrian again. And it wasn’t without attempt on his end. The texts started slow. A good morning, a goodnight. Then they transitioned into ‘I wish I could see you’, ‘Please talk to me’, ‘Thinking of you’. Then finally Adrian had taken up calling you. Every time his name appeared on your phone screen you felt your chest tighten with worry. Every time your phone pinged with a notification you took just a little bit longer to get to it.
You weren’t sure why you hadn’t just blocked him. Or even just texted him to leave you alone then block him. But you didn’t. You sometimes even found yourself rereading his thread of texts when you couldn’t sleep. Sometimes you would type a response, but then quickly erase it.
No. You couldn’t message him, couldn’t see him. He was hiding something. It made your stomach ache. No matter how much you wanted to forget what the bartender said just so you could feel his hands on you again, you knew he knew more than he let on.
It’s for that sole reason that you realized you couldn’t block him, or remove him completely from your life. You still had questions, answers that only Adrian could provide.
It was midnight when your phone pinged. You were on a break from the warm-line. You stared at your reflection in the window above the kitchen sink, noticing your phone light up just behind you in the glass. Pressing your lips together, you shook your head, trying to overcome the curiosity you felt brewing. It was only ever one person who messaged you at this time.
Finding no other reason to put it off, you reluctantly returned to your makeshift office space at the island, unlocking your phone. Much to your surprise—& relief—it wasn’t Adrian.
Your mom says you won’t be coming home for Thanksgiving🥺 would you like some company in the city?
You smiled to yourself in the dimly lit kitchen at Lillie’s text. It felt like it’d been ages since you spoke to her. After all, she was pretty much the only person from your first life who didn’t try to remind you of everything that didn’t make you you anymore.
Rereading her text though, you felt your smile fall. Of course you wouldn’t be going back for thanksgiving. Any holidays where your family gathered together to whisper about you in the corners or ask you questions testing to see if you really didn’t remember made you cringe. Your mother hadn’t been surprised at your refusal to come home when you spoke a few days prior but you still heard the disappointment in her voice.
‘Perhaps your father & I can come to you. You shouldn’t be alone during the holidays.’ She had said.
But you insisted on being alone. You told a few white lies, saying you made friends with other tenants on your floor. In reality, you just weren’t ready to have her back. You knew lying to your mom, your therapist wasn’t good for yourself but not seeing them face to face made it easier. You just needed more time.
Your thoughts strayed back to the open text on your phone. You typed.
Not this time, Lil. Wouldn’t be a great host, tbh. But maybe for Xmas or New Years. I’ll call after thanksgiving.
Closing out of the message, you placed your headset back on, clacking the keys on your laptop to rejoin the warm-line.
Five minutes later you were in the middle of a call with a young woman who was struggling with her depressive thoughts when your childhood lullaby seeped into your apartment walls.
No, no no. You thought quietly to yourself, feeling your head sway dizzily to Piano Sonata. Your heart beat wildly within your chest. Don’t text me, don’t text me, don’t text me.
Ding.
…Adrian.
The voice of the young woman faded as your mouth went dry. You stared horrified at your phone, Adrian’s name the only words on the screen. A shudder raced through you, as if all the windows in your apartment were open.
Shakily you picked up the phone, sliding open the text.
Sweet dreams. -A
“Hello?” A sudden what returned to your chilled skin at the voice in your ear.
“Yes, sorry. I’m listening.”
But you weren’t. How could you? Adrian knew something. & you needed to know what.
Thirty minutes later, you found yourself reaching the ground floor of your building. It was almost one in the morning & it was chilly outside from the early winter season but you didn’t care. Adrian was finally going to get the attention he had been craving.
Wrapped in three layers of cardigans & a wool jacket, you stepped outside onto the empty city street. Across the street, you glanced up at the building, observing only a few lights on in windows. Adrian had to be one of them.
Unlocking your phone, you pulled up his name & hit the call button. The line rang twice before it answered.
“_____.” Adrian sounded relieved, the exact opposite of how you felt.
You skipped the niceties. “We need to talk. I’m downstairs.”
“You’re down—what like downstairs downstairs?”
“I’ll be waiting.” You hung up, not wanting to discuss anything further until he was standing right in front of you.
Fortunately you didn’t have to wait long. You watched through the lobby windows of Adrian’s building as he crossed the main floor to the doors. He wore a beanie & thick winter jacket. When he stepped out, a smile graced his features.
“Hey, how are—“
“You’re from Kildare.” You spat, taking a step back when he came to close. With that comment though, he froze entirely.
“And don’t say you’re not because I know you are.”
Adrian’s brows furrowed. You could see the gears turning in his head. Probably trying to come with more lies. Before he could open his mouth, you shook your head, dismissing him. “Don’t lie. I already know.”
His eyes searched yours, his mouth hanging loosely open but saying nothing.
“Who are you?” It wasn’t a question you were prepared to ask but found yourself saying it.
“_____…” He sighed, moving one step closer. You glared hotly at him through the visible breathe shared between you two.
“Don’t,” you gasped, staring at him wide-eyed, “don’t say my name unless you’re going to tell me the truth.”
The two of you stared at each other on the dimly lit street for what felt like ages before Adrian pressed his lips together, his lids fluttering closed briefly in surrender. When he opened them, they softened.
“Okay. I’ll tell you everything. But will you just come up, it’s freezing out here.” When he made to reach for you, you hurriedly stepped out of reach.
“Now, Adrian! Tell me now. I don’t even know you. How the hell do you know me?”
You saw a bout of anger flash momentarily across his eyes before he shook his own hair. Placing his hands on his hips, he stared at you, contemplating.
“I swear if you don’t tell me I will—“
“Alright! Alright.” Adrian clicked his tongue, shaking his head in disbelief, “I didn’t—I don’t.” He begun but kept stopping. You anxiously waited for him to form the words.
“I don’t know where to begin.”
“The beginning,” you spit, the confused anger coursing through you kept you warm against the chilled air.
Adrian furrowed his brows, “Okay. I, uh, yes. I’m from Kildare.”
The sensation that went through you wasn’t what you expected. You expected relief at his admittance, but your chest coiled, needing more, needing to know more.
“And we know each other?” It came out almost a whisper, despite wanting to scream.
He sighed, running a hand through his hair & down his face. He peered at you, unsure. But you watched as a resignation came over him. He hung his head. “Yes & no.”
What? You felt yourself growing frustrated, tired of him beating around the bush. “Yes & no?” You repeated, biting your lip in annoyance.
Adrian threw his hands up, exasperated, “I don’t know what the fuck you want—“
“The truth, Adrian!” You exclaimed, “just tell me the truth..”
“Kildare is small, _____. We both know that.” He shook his head, walking a foot toward his building to lean against the wall. “What happened to you was a big deal.”
“My accident?”
“Yeah.” He half scoffed, half laughed, “I mean, jesus, for days you were the only thing in the news. Your progress, the details surrounding the accident. You were all anyone talked about.”
“Is that how you know me?” You pushed, “the news?”
“No.” Adrian shrugged. “We went to high school together.”
The coil in your chest sprung, a small inaudible exhale leaving your throat, “were we friends?”
At that Adrian chuckled, but there wasn’t an amusing smile to match the action, “No. We weren’t friends. We hardly knew each other. But Kildare is small, the high school smaller.”
“Why didn’t you say anything when we ran into each other?”
“Honestly?” You gave him a pointed glare at his question. “I didn’t recognize you at first. I mean, you look different than you did in school. It wasn’t until you told me your name that I figured it out.”
“So why not then still?”
“I…” he shook his head, sighing, “don’t know. It was clear that you didn’t recognize me. There were rumors of course about your condition after getting out of the hospital but who knows what the truth is, ya know? So, I just didn’t say anything.”
“Except trying to get me to relive the coastal life.” You rebutted, recalling when Adrian would try to order you food that would remind you of home.
“Alright, I’ll admit, that was me being an asshole, seeing if the rumors were true.”
You scoffed, finding his tactic unbelievable, “wow, nice.”
“Fuck, I’m sorry.” Adrian pushed off from the building to take a step toward you. You crossed your arms before your body to keep warm from the cool.
“It was wrong. I know. I should’ve said something sooner but, but I was…afraid.”
“Afraid?” You rolled your eyes, “of what?”
“I like you, _____. You know that, I already said as much. The feelings I’ve developed for you are real. And after we kissed the first time, I figured I was in too deep already. If you didn’t remember me before then… what did it matter now?”
“Still.” Your heart faltered. He lied to you, manipulated you, he even experimented! This wasn’t someone who could have real feelings…
“I know, I know.” Adrian spoke softly, his eyes peering into your own. You hadn’t realized he was standing directly in front of you at that point. Gently he placed his hands on your biceps, his fingers firm but soft. “I shouldn’t have lied. I should have said something. But we were good, ya know? It was obvious you wanted to forget the past &… I wanted to help. Be a part of it.”
Your lips parted. A plethora of emotions flooded you as you stared up at him. Pressing your lips together, you stepped out of his hold. You swallowed before speaking, “I need time.”
Adrian pursed his lips but nodded stiffly, “Okay.”
The two of you stood quietly for a beat before you felt a chill breeze sweep over you. You shuddered, angling your body toward your building, “I’ll call you, okay? I don’t want to make any promises or anything but… I just need to think. About all of this, & especially about what it means.”
Again, Adrian nodded but didn’t say anything.
Without another word, you stepped off the sidewalk & were halfway across the street when you heard your name being called. You stopped to turn around. Adrian was half-way off the sidewalk, “I know what I did was wrong, & I am sorry, but I don’t regret it.”
You weren’t sure what to say, your stomach twisting at his words, confused &… relieved at his honesty.
“I didn’t know you much before, but I can’t imagine who you used to be compares to who you are now. You’re really… you really are amazing.”
Words wanted to come out but you couldn’t pick them out. A small smile tugged at the corner of your mouth.
Adrian waved you off, “Anyway, goodnight, _____.”
“Night, Adrian.”
Adrian disappeared inside his building, leaving you alone on the empty, dimly lit city street. But despite your predicament, both medically & romantically, it was the first time since your rebirth that you didn’t feel alone. It was the first time you felt genuinely seen.
“I wasn’t expecting a call so soon.” Adrian shared as you let you into his building.
Neither were you. After all, it had only been four days since you spoke to him outside in the middle of the night. But you had spoken to your therapist.
Of course, you spared her details—only mentioning that you had indeed met someone & weren’t sure how to navigate a relationship in your condition. She reminded you that your long-term amnesia & sun sickness didn’t mean you had to live a life alone. In fact, she was pleased to hear you had met someone, asking if you had told your family & friends yet.
“Ugh, no.” You had winced at the thought, “I’m barely ready for this, I don’t want to introduce them to anything temporary.”
“Well when you treat it like it’s temporary it surely will be.” She responded knowingly. “Do you want it to be temporary?”
You pondered her question for some time. You thought about how Adrian knew about your condition, the accident even. How he knew how your family functioned because everyone from Kildare functioned the same. How in spite of all that he still wanted to get to know you. Then you remembered the lying, the experimenting, the hiding.
But he had said it, he wanted to help you forget. No one who knew you before would really ever let you forget, not even Lillie though bless her heart she sure did try. But Adrian knew you before, or at least of you, & still accepted you for you. This you.
“Maybe.” You finally had responded.
Once your zoom session ended, you stared at Adrian’s name on your phone. Another surprise you had during the break from him was that he didn’t message you, not once, not even to say goodnight or goodmorning. He was respecting your boundaries, giving you time, space. You figured he wouldn’t, which would’ve ultimately landed further away from you then both of you would like, but he surprised you. He did that a lot.
But after your talk with your therapist, you had to acknowledge the urge in your heart to contact him. You actually missed him. In the short time you’ve known him, Adrian had quickly & quietly became a fixture in your life. It was harder to not miss him.
That was how you found yourself outside his building the following night.
Adrian had sounded as relieved & excited to hear your voice as you his, though you didn’t show it, still choosing to remain guarded. But it was thanksgiving week, & your therapist said you didn’t have to spend your life alone. You weren’t sure if you would, or even wanted to, spend it with Adrian, but you figured thanksgiving dinner would be an okay start.
“Yeah, I hope it’s okay that I invited myself to your place for dinner.”
“Of course.” He smiled jovially at you as you two waited for the elevators. It was a little past seven in the evening, a late dinner. But thanks to the time of year, the sun set nearly three hours prior. Fortunately for you, Adrian was more than happy to have a late dinner with you.
“I wasn’t sure what to make, to be honest, not much of a cook, but I hope what I got is alright.” He laughed awkwardly.
“As long as it’s nothing from the south.” You joked. He raised his hands innocently, “I’ve learned my lesson with that.”
“Good.” You giggled softly.
A minute or so later, you found yourself walking through Adrian’s apartment door. Though similar to your own in space & size, it was a sleeker, more modern aesthetic. It had a warmer welcome to it than your concrete abode. It was very clearly a bachelor pad, as well.
The living room had a leather sectional with a large flat screen. Behind the sectional was a pool table parallel to a minibar. Everything in the apartment, from what you could see, was black or white. Even the felt on the pool table was black. But there were touches of Adrian throughout. Yet from what you could see, there was no piano in sight.
A paper bag from Yummy Mummy sat on top of Adrian’s pure white kitchen island. A shocked but amused scoff left you. Adrian piqued his eyebrows at your reaction, “I did say I wasn’t much of a cook…”
“Yeah,” you chuckled, staring in inane cheerfulness as he began to empty contents from the paper bag, “no kidding.”
“One beef burger & fries for you…” Adrian handed you the wrapped food to which you happily received. “And one beef burger & fries for me.”
You felt your brows furrow. “Not your usual? Shrimp sandwich?”
“Nah,” Adrian replied, seating himself at a stool corner to you, “I figured I’d change it up for once.”
You popped a fry into your mouth, smirking playfully. “Good choice.”
The both of you sat & ate quietly for a minute or so before Adrian hopped up with a mouth full of food, heading for the fridge. He looked at you & said something but you definitely didn’t understand a word. He rolled his eyes & chewed animatedly before swallowing, a grin appearing on his face. “Sorry. Do you want a drink?”
“Um,” you paused, unsure if having alcohol was the best idea right now, “what do you have?”
“Uh…” he narrowed his eyes at the contents inside his fridge, “beer, wine, & uh, more beer.” He tossed you an apologetic look, “I could brew up some coffee if you don’t want some of the big kid stuff.”
You knew he didn’t mean anything intentional by ‘big kid stuff’ but still, you found yourself a little taken aback by the comment. You weren’t a kid, regardless of your condition. You could handle yourself fine. Besides, you lived right across the street. It’s not like you’d be stumbling into a cab like you did halloween weekend.
“A beer is great.” You thanked him as he popped the cap off a bottle & handed it to you before doing the same for himself.
Adrian returned to his seat & raised his bottle in your direction. “To new beginnings.”
“New beginnings,” you repeated, clinking the neck of your beer against his.
Adrian smiled around the mouth of his beer as he drank. You felt yourself flush. Taking a swig yourself, you repeated to yourself internally —
To new beginnings.
You sighed blissfully as you reached your door, sensing Adrian behind you.
“You really didn’t have to walk me all the way to my door.” You shared but was internally thankful for his company.
Dinner had been a pleasant surprise. After eating & chatting more, Adrian & you sat on his sectional to relax. He put on an Angelina Jolie movie but neither of you paid much attention.
You were worried he would bring up the past, talk about high school or other parts of Kildare that you simply couldn’t & would never remember. But he never once even leaned in that direction. Conversation flowed evenly, with flirtatious bits here & there. By the time the movie finished it was almost 11. In that time, you still hadn’t mentioned the other downside of your illness. So you wanted to get out of his hair so he could sleep like the normal people do. But he insisted on seeing you home himself. How could you say no?
“I really wanted to though.” He replied, a smirk appearing on his goddamn handsome features.
You chuckled softly at that & turned the handle but didn’t push it open. Instead you faced him once more. He continued to stare pensively at you, making your skin erupt in goosebumps.
“Thank you again for dinner.”
“The first of many, I hope.” He replied.
“And thank you for being patient. I’m still not sure where we stand but right now dinner & conversation is okay.”
Adrian mustered another smile but nodded.
“Okay, well…” you began, “goodnight, Adr—“
You didn’t get to finish speaking his name when you felt yourself pressed gently against your door & his lips on top yours.
The abruptness of his gentle assault made you gasp & grip onto the sleeves of his jacket. Adrian moved his mouth over yours expertly, & surprisingly, you welcomed it. You found yourself bringing him closer to you, enough for his chest to press into you.
Adrian’s fingers threaded themselves through your hair, gently tugging to maneuver your neck at an angle where he could access your mouth better. The action forced a heated moan. Adrian groaned deeply.
Then suddenly his mouth & body heat were gone. You dizzily blinked your eyes open to stare at him. The both of you were breathing heavily.
“I’m sorry. I…” his eyes fell to your open mouth, your swollen lips red & pouty, “I couldn’t not.”
You felt your core tighten, an ache wanted to be satiated. An ache you haven’t felt much before. An ache you wanted to feel more of.
To Adrian’s surprise, you closed the distance yet again, grabbing the back of his neck to bring his mouth down atop yours. Adrian responded, wrapping his arms around your waist, this time none so gently pushing you against the door.
You moaned again, biting your lip to keep the noise from escaping. Adrian lifted his head to stare down at you, “I thought you wanted slow.”
“I want you to make me feel good.” You whispered, “make me feel good, Adrian.”
A heated look shadowed his gaze & next thing you knew, Adrian had shoved the both of you into your apartment, slamming the door loudly as it echoed through your apartment.
Adrian’s mouth was on yours again with renewed vigor. His teeth nipped at your lower lip, his hands traveled the length of you to cup your bottom, lifting you with ease as you wrapped your legs around him.
Your head was spinning with every kiss along your neck & collarbone as he sat you on top of your kitchen island. Your hands & mouth couldn’t keep up with him as he deftly pulled at your clothes.
We’re you really going to go through with this? You wanted to go slow…
But then Adrian slipped his fingers into your underwear, his index & middle finger wasting no time in slipping into your pussy. A gasp escaped you at the sudden intrusion & you bucked your hips slightly into his palm.
“You’re so fucking wet already.” He mouthed hotly into your ear, “I knew you wanted me to fuck you, make you come undone.”
A strained & gurgled moan stuck in your throat at his words.
His teeth grazed the lobe of your ear, adding to the euphoric sensations erupting from the warmth of your core.
Adrian’s fingers curled inside you then, & you held onto his forearm, gyrating your hips around his hand.
You felt your thighs shake as something tight began to build. Your moans at this point were pouring out shamelessly. Adrian grabbed the underside of your chin, turning your face upwards so he could cover your mouth with his own.
Your lips parted & his tongue slipped in, “Cum for me. Cum like the good whore I know you are.”
His words—words that you normally would’ve been appalled at—made you wince & cry out. The tight coil deep in your core springing loose.
“Don’t stop.” You pleaded as you felt a flood of warmth consume you.
You cried out, rotating your hips & bucking into Adrian’s hand as his thumb circled your clit, heightening your senses.
“Oh my god…” you gasped, finally opening your eyes, though all you saw were stars blanketing your vision.
“You’re fucking perfect.” Adrian murmured as he pressed his lips to your open mouth.
As you came down, your skin coated in a light sheen of sweat, you stared in awe at Adrian. An accomplished smile appeared on his face.
“That was…” you began, still catching your breath, a stickiness between your legs apparent, “I don’t what that was.”
“It was everything you wanted.” He responded, his hands returning to your hair, running the tresses through his fingers.
You half chuckled at that, too exhausted to attempt anything more.
“And now you’ve got me rock fucking hard.” With that comment, Adrian’s hand slipped down to your own, gripping your wrist & guiding it to the solid lump at the crotch of his jeans.
Adrian cupped your hand around himself, grinding his obvious arousal into your palm. You foolishly felt like a young girl, experiencing her first sexual encounter. In a way, that’s exactly what was happening. You didn’t remember your life before, let alone any sex you may or may not have. But considering that you were in you were 21, you highly doubted you were a virgin.
Still though. As you sat atop your island counter, your own arousal seeping out, you felt dumbfounded.
Adrian hissed through his clenched teeth, his eyes hooded as he watched you watch the motion of your hand over his jean-clad bulge.
“I want to fuck you,” he started, “I need to fuck you, _____.” At this point his face was burrowed in your neck, his hot breath sending shivers & shockwaves throughout your body.
You felt your core clench at his words, you body seemingly welcome to the idea of letting Adrian do what he wants with you. But you wanted slow… you needed slow.
“Say yes, _____.” Adrian’s lips grazed your skin, “let me make you feel good.”
And you did. You did feel good, Adrian had succeeded in that. But he could make you feel better.
You halted the movement of your hand, pausing to look up at Adrian. Your decision must’ve been evident in your eyes because Adrian smiled like he won a nation-wide championship.
“That’s my girl.” He softly said just before his hands gripped your hips suddenly, pulling you off the counter.
In a frenzy, you were spun around & pressed flush to the counter. A small gasp escaped you when you felt Adrian tug once at your underwear before the elastic snapped & left you bare.
Adrian’s lips deceased upon your upper back as his fingers expertly unclasped your bra, removing the item & tossing it to the side. A wonton mewl parted your lips when Adrian pressed his front to your rear.
“You need me to fuck you.” Adrian somewhat harshly gripped the back of your neck, bending your head backwards & an awkward & mildly painful angle so he could whisper in your ear.
“Say it.” He wasn’t wrong, you felt the intense desire to be savagely fucked by him. But saying it? You couldn’t find the words. They felt almost…wrong?
When you continued to not say anything, Adrian’s grip on your neck tightened, making you wince. A bout of concern flooded you, but what surprised you most was the erotic sensations you felt from the action.
Then a prodding was felt at your entrance. Your lips parted in confused anticipation, waiting for Adrian to fulfill his want.
But nothing came.
Instead, another sharp pain erupted through your scalp as he tugged your hair, yanking your head back, “I only fuck good girls who listen.”
“Adria—“ You had begun, but his hand suddenly covered your mouth. You felt your eyes widen in fear at the movement.
Adrian was at your ear, one hand covering your mouth as you felt his other reach around to your front, his fingers finding your sensitive clit.
A muffled moan sounded from behind Adrian’s hand as you felt your legs shake from the erotic assault. Your arousal dropped between your thighs. You could feel the droplets landing on your feet.
“It’ll be this,” Adrian pressed his hips forward, the head of his cock rubbing up & down between your folds, getting slick with your juices, “but so much more.”
Your heart was racing, your skin still damp with sweat. You unintentionally felt your hips press against him, wanting—needing—more.
“_____.” Adrian reprimanded in an almost sing-song tone, “Give me what I want, & I will give you what you want.”
“You need me to fuck you.” Adrian repeated, his fingers rubbing vigorously, & you could feel the coil in your stomach begin to restrict, the taste of absolute sensual bliss so close.
Just as you felt yourself about to come undone, Adrian’s fingers disappeared. His hand over mouth, too.
A hunger inside you was left unsatisfied.
Adrian was still behind you, his cock unmoving against your soaking wet cunt.
“Say it.” He whispered.
You needed it. You fucking needed it. Like a feral cat preparing to be devoured by the feral beast, you pressed yourself against the counter, your hands gripping the edge, “I need you to fuck me, Adrian.”
“Please,” you begged, shocked by how desperate you sounded, “Adrian, fuck me.”
“With pleasure.” He growled before an intrusive fullness filled you.
Something between a yelp & a moan escaped you as Adrian sheathed himself entirely in one single thrust. You didn’t even have time to adjust, or think on how this was your first time having sex since your accident, before he was pounding himself into you.
Adrian hissed & groaned behind you, the later reverberating from deep within his chest which was pressed against your back. It was like music to your ears.
You hadn’t thought much on sex in your rebirth, but fuck, the sounds Adrian made certainly added to the sensations.
Adrian’s hands found your wrists, positioning them behind your back between your bodies. You couldn’t fathom the words through your euphoric fog to tell him it was painful. But even then, soon enough, the pain started to feel good too.
He grunted, his hips snapping recklessly against you. The coiled feeling returned with a vengeance as Adrian pounded you mercilessly. One hand grasped the base of your throat, bringing your head back so he could press his face into your hair. His other hand found its place between your legs.
The second his fingers touched you, the coil broke. A strangled cry clawed out of your throat as you came around Adrian’s cock.
“That’s my good fucking girl.” Adrian mumbled just before he thrusted into you deeply, painfully, once more, a strained groan of his own following.
Slowly, languidly, Adrian rotated his hips as the two of you came down. Your heart beat wildly within your chest, your skin suddenly cold & erupting with goosebumps, your breathing erratic. Adrian softened inside you before he pulled out. You winced at the emptiness.
It was quiet for what felt like forever before you finally felt calmed enough. You pushed off from the counter, the ache deep inside you pounding, reflective of the somewhat rough sex you had just experienced.
In your peripheral, you saw Adrian disappear down your hallway to your bathroom. You took this opportunity to get mostly dressed in the dark. Underwear, bra, shirt.
All of a sudden you felt uncomfortable. Exposed. Dirty.
Used.
But you had used him too, hadn’t you?
You continued to reason yourself, listing reasons why it was okay: it was in the heat of the moment, you did actually want it, the chemistry between you two was acted on naturally, etc.
You had done a very normal thing.
The fact brought a smile to your face.
A pair of arms encircled your waist. You bit your lip, turned around to face him.
“I’m never letting you go.” Adrian quietly announced as he kissed you once more.
You chuckled softly, pulling away, “I can’t believe that just happened. So much for slow.”
Adrian grinned at you, forcing you to look away. You began to pull out of his arms, when his hands halted you, his brows furrowing, “Wait, stop, what are you doing? Do you regret it?”
“No.” You responded instantaneously, “I just, it happened to fast. I didn’t really have a chance to think.”
“You jumped me.” Adrian reminded you, “I was following your lead.”
You nodded in agreement, knowing that was exactly what happened. You could’ve said no at any point, not let it get past your door, but you couldn’t stop it, you didn’t want to stop it.
You shook your head, smiling sheepishly, “I know, I know. I… enjoyed it. A lot.”
Adrian placed a finger under your chin, turning your face upwards so he could look you in the eye, “It’s a good thing, _____. Right?”
“Right.” You repeated, allowing him to pull you closer. Your face was buried into the crook of his neck. He kissed the side of your head.
“Everything happens for a reason.”
It’s nearly eight in the morning when you see Adrian to your door.
After another tussle in the sheets, which was much softer than the heated roughness of the kitchen tussle—the latter you discovered you enjoyed more of—Adrian & you had passed out. It was his 7:30 alarm that had woken you.
You let Adrian shower, lying in your bed reminiscing the night before. Then you got up to make some tea. You knew you’d be going back to sleep after Adrian left & wanted to make it easier by preparing some chamomile.
It was 8:02 when Adrian appeared in the kitchen, his light brown hair damp. He smiled at you before giving you a gentle but firm kiss. It left you dizzy.
“Any plans for thanksgiving?”
“Ugh,” you stuck your tongue out, “none.”
Adrian laughed, “Gonna wing it alone, huh?”
You shrugged, “I like being alone. Plus I don’t want to go to Kildare to be surrounded by people who won’t stop staring.”
He nodded.
“What about you?” You turned the question onto him.
Adrian shrugged as well, “Eh. Don’t really think they’ll notice if I’m there or not. So why spend the money to go down there?”
“But you love Kildare.”
“Yeah, I do. But uh…” He glanced at you with raised brows, “I’m beginning to like it here more.”
You felt your cheeks grow hot at the compliment. Fuck, get it together!
“So…” You began, “you’ll be here then?”
“Yeah.” Adrian’s mouth turned up in one corner with a smirk, “Maybe we could do something together.”
You rolled your eyes playfully but nodded, “Okay. But this time I’ll cook.”
Adrian through you a questioning look, “You mean cook cook or order from Yummy Mummy cook?”
“Cook cook.” A knowing grin appeared on your face.
“Okay,” He ran his hand through your hair, his eyes overlooking what felt like every detail of your face. He leaned in then, his lips barely brushing against your own, “As long as I have you for dessert.”
Adrian finishes slipping into his shoes & jacket as you wait at the door. He made himself a small breakfast before you hinted that you had stuff to do, stuff being sleep.
“I’ll call you.” You said to him, unlocking the latches.
“I’ll be waiting.” The two of you shared a smile. You began to open the door as he leaned down to kiss you. It was a sweet one, like the ones you had first experienced with him. Giggling into the kiss, you were just about to pull away when a thud sounded right next to you.
“What the fuck?” Adrian & you pulled away suddenly at the voice just to your left.
Turning from Adrian, you spun around to see Lillie standing in the hallway outside your door. A bag had fallen from her hand to the floor, & a small suitcase stood beside her legs.
“Lillie?” Your eyes widened, not expecting her, or literally anyone to be standing there. “What are you doing here?”
“I should be asking you the same thing.” She spit but it wasn’t directed towards you.
No, the look she had on her face, which could easily send anyone to their early grave, was aimed directly at Adrian.
This was a much longer unexpected hiatus again. Between school, work, preparing for graduating, moving, putting a pet down, mental health issues, starting therapy, yadda yadda yadda--I kind of couldn't focus on this. But I am happy to post again. Though I can't promise anything consistent right now.
Regardless, I hope having a longer part of Awake posted will make up for it.
As always, please let me know what you think. I love to hear it & it makes me feel good<3
Thank you for reading!

Hello! I’ve been rereading recently some of your stories and I must say that I really like your writing :)
So… if you don’t mind…👉👈 I have a small writing request for you (It’s cliche but I don’t care, cause I love this prompt):
Two characters are given an important task: they should steal something from a well-guarded facility. The thing is, these characters aren’t really doing well together. One of them is a little slimmer and shorter than their partner (they are also the cocky one) and they have to crawl/get into the place where the item is contained. So, the item is successfully stolen, but on the way back, the cocky character gets shot with a drugged dart or something like that. Maybe they don’t really notice at first.
The other character has to carry both the item and their not-feeling-so-well partner :3 Or will they finally use the opportunity and leave that annoying little bastard at the hands of their enemies? It’s up to you :)
Hi Anon! You flatter me <3 And please don't be shy. I love requests! (Also, let's be honest, we all love cliches. It's only a matter if its done well or not. I hope I can be on the former part.) Please enjoy my short try.

Warnings: Drugging, abandoning.
Whumper was furious.
Whumpee was the most ridiculous, most annoying person ever. Their cockiness knew no bound (Whumper ignored that they sounded like a hypocrite— they always did).
"Are you even listening?" Whumper snarled.
"Yes, well, we have been looking at the plan for hours. It's not changing today, and it definitely won't change when I get in, too." Whumpee smiled arrogantly.
"Don't forget that the disk—"
"The disk is in a cylinder that is covered with a drug that is absorbed through skin, and we don't know what that drug does. I'll keep my gloves on." Whumpee said with a bored voice.
Whumper glared at Whumpee. This attitude was going to he the end of Whumpee. "Yes. Remember it well, idiot, or I'm leaving you there."
Whumpee smirked. Whumper wanted nothing more than wiping that arrogant smile from their face.
In less than five minutes, the black van dropped them a hundred meters away from the building. Whumper moved to the big maintenance tunnel. Though, worryingly, the space got smaller and smaller until Whumper's bulky shoulders started to touch to the sides.
"Here ends your plan," Whumpee chuckled.
"Just shut up and get the flash disk," Whumper grumbled.
Whumpee disappeared from their sight. Meanwhile, Whumper occupied themselves with exploring the other vents— they stopped just over the meeting room. When they realised that it was empty, they opened their computer and disabled the cameras there, connecting to a port as they closed the security system around the cylinder.
"Ugh. This place is so filthy." Whumpee whined.
"Stay focused." Whumper returned.
"Can't you be more understanding?" Whumpee snarled as an opening sound came. "I'm in. Just need a password."
Whumper hacked into the system again, from backdoor they left this time. It took a few minutes to find where it was stored and another few minutes to crack.
When footsteps came, Whumper left the security system as they used the table as a step stool and got back into the vent, closing the grille. Whumper let out a nervous breath when the room filled with people, but no one remarked on a change.
"Perfect." Whumpee grumbled.
"What happened?"
"The otomatic glass on the cylinder closed, and now my right glove is stuck under it. You did a perfect job, Whumper."
"It's not my fault that I had to disconnect. I'm not getting caught for your sake. And stop whining. You can get out with one glove."
Whumper heard a sigh before they heard Whumpee climb back to the vents. They meet in the middle, Whumpee carrying the cylinder in their gloved hand. They left the cylinder on the floor as they slumped and leaned to the wall of the vent.
"See? It's not a big deal." Whumper said through their gritted teeth.
"That glass could chop my fingers!" Whumpee shouted.
Whumper immediately closed their mouth, voices under them continuing to chatter undisturbed.
Whumper took the cylinder, pushing it to Whumpee's chest and snarling a shut up. Whumpee held the item with both hands before taking it with their right hand and crawling after Whumper.
They went in silence for a while before Whumper was pulled by their leg to demand attention.
"What's it again?"
Whumpee was staring at them, eyes glassy and dazed. Whumper immediately took the cylinder and helped Whumpee to lay down.
"I told you so." They murmured as Whumpee lifted their hand and failed to hold it. Whumper swore. "I'm not carrying y—"
The ground of the vent couldn't carry their weight.
Whumper groaned as they blinked, their body aching, especially their head. Whumpee was lying on the floor, unmoving.
A loud alarm wailed.
Whumper didn't think. They had told Whumpee that they would leave Whumpee there.
They grabbed the cylinder and ran.

cw: 18+ only, xiao/f!reader, law school au, enemies to lovers, rough sex, dumbification, degradation
wc: 2.5k
it was getting late. well, it got late about two hours ago. now midnight was approaching at an annoyingly fast rate. you were exhausted, xiao was irritable, and the report was nowhere near done. it was a miracle that no one had come by to lock up the study room for the night.
“this case doesn’t make any sense,” you griped, typing aggressively on your laptop. xiao sighed.
“you’ve said that three times in the last thirty minutes. i get it,” he said flatly. you shot him a look. your professor had to be some kind of sadist. you and xiao had hated each other since the first day of class. rarely did a lecture go by without the two of you arguing- whether it was about law or the color of the sky.
“read this,” you said, turning your laptop towards him. his eyes narrowed as he read over the report, which you’d rewritten twice now. he shook his head as he approached the end.
“your reasoning doesn’t make any sense. you’re just mentioning another case to make the holes in your argument look smaller,” he said. “and the fuck does the implied powers have to do with anything?”
you snatched your laptop back. “at least i’m putting ideas out there. you’ve been rereading it for, like, forty five minutes.”
he rolled his eyes. “right. why analyze the case to further understand it when you could just spew bullshit and pray something is right?”
you groaned in frustration. “this case is at least a century old. you’re not supposed to ‘further understand it.’ the whole point of the assignment is torture us mentally.”
“the whole point of the assignment is to challenge us,” he shot back, “something you will have to get used to if you want a fucking law career.”
you slammed your laptop shut. “i get it, you think i’m stupid-”
“i don’t think you’re stupid, i think you’re fucking lazy.”
you snorted, but there was no humor in it. “i’m lazy, but you haven’t written shit. got it.”
he stood. “listen, i’m sorry that you weren’t paired with your little boyfriend, but-”
“my little boyfriend?” you said, incredulous. “what are you even talking about?” you got to your feet, too. the two of you were ticking time bombs, trapped in each other’s space. as always.
“that ginger you sit next to. don’t act like i’m wrong,” he snapped, “you two are so fucking obvious.”
you laughed in disbelief. “jesus christ, you are such an asshole. his name is childe. you’ve known him an entire semester-”
xiao cut you off, “you’re unbearable around him. that stupid high pitched giggle you do? it gives me a fucking headache-”
“laughing at his jokes means i’m fucking him?” you didn’t even realize that you’d raised your voice.
“you dumb yourself down for him,” xiao said. “it’s infuriating. you can have anyone you want, why do you settle for that moron?”
“i’m not settling for him,” you hissed, “i don’t even talk to him outside of class! and so what if i fucking was? god forbid someone likes me, right? just because you hate me doesn’t mean the rest of the world does.”
something in his eyes changed. you suddenly realized how close your faces were. you must’ve gotten closer as your tempers escalated.
“you are stupid,” he said, softly. before your rage took hold, he continued, “i.. don’t hate you.”
you scoffed. “yeah, right,” you said, starting to back away. his hand caught your shoulder, gentle but firm. the earth stopped turning. he’d never looked at you like this before. like you were more than a nuisance. much more.
it clicked. oh.
“what did you mean by.. what you said a second ago?” you asked, your voice barely above a whisper. “that i.. can ‘have anyone i want?’” your heart was beating fast, and it wasn’t caused by rage, this time.
for a moment, xiao looked vulnerable. “we don’t have to talk about this,” he whispered. “i know that we argue a lot, and i know that i can be a dick, but- i don’t hate you. i don’t.”
your heart was caught in your throat. “how do you feel about me?” you breathed.
his cheeks reddened. he clearly wasn’t used to being emotionally vulnerable, especially in front of you. “it’s complicated,” he said. “it’s not necessarily how i feel about you, but how you make me feel.”
a small smile creeped onto your lips. “well.. what are you involuntarily feeling?”
your smile seemed to relax him, if only slightly. he sighed. “i’ve been asking myself the same question for months. i mean, you always annoyed me- especially in the beginning. but, as time went on, i don’t know.. i started noticing little things.
“like the look in your eye when you’re winning an argument. or the one when you’re losing. how you bite your lip when you’re focused on something..” he trailed off. he looked up, finally meeting your eyes.
“like i said, it’s complicated,” he murmured. “but whatever i was feeling was.. warm. pleasant, even if i didn’t want it to be. then, you started hanging out with that childe guy, and these feelings went from warm to… hot. like a, a burning sensation, in my chest.”
just thinking about it seemed to frustrate him. “he made you laugh. you didn’t look at him like you wanted to kill him. i mean, you liked him. and i couldn’t stand it, because-”
he cut himself off, trying to muster up the courage to say whatever was about to come next. “i couldn’t stand that you would never see me the way you saw him.” his breathing was shaky. it made your heart ache.
your faces were so close.
“it drives me insane,” he continued. “you drive me insane. and i just want to-”
you cut him off, capturing his lips in a desperate, long-awaited kiss. he jumped at first, shocked, but melted into it before too long. his hands found themselves on your hips, gripping them firmly. pulling you closer to him. you tangled your fingers in his hair, relishing in the deep groan that escapes him when you tug on the strands.
he bit your lip as he pulled away, resting his forehead against yours. you whined and gasped for breath. you brought a hand to his cheek, brushing a piece of hair behind his ear. “you have no idea how long i’ve wanted to do that,” you whispered. his fingers dug into your waist.
“you’re not fucking childe?” he said. god, his eyes.
you shook your head.
“good.”
just like that, he was on you again. the kiss was rougher this time, hotter. teeth nipped at lips, tongues prodded at one another, hands made their way up your shirt. xiao pulled away briefly to remove it. he pushed you up against the desk as his lips chased yours once again. you had no objections, dizzy with lust.
he shoved a thigh between your legs and you moaned as he pressed it against you.
“god, look at you,” he whispered, his teeth against your neck. he moved his thigh, and you couldn’t stop your hips from grinding against it. there was an almost sinister look in his eye. it was sadistic, but adoring. your heart was fluttering in your chest.
“aw, baby,” he cooed, “i’ve hardly touched you. do you really need it that bad?” that condescending tone did something to you. a familiar fog was starting to form in your head. “i guess i should’ve seen this coming. smart girls like you love to be turned into dumb sluts in bed, right?”
a shiver ran down your spine. before you could respond, he moved his ground his thigh against you. an embarrassingly high pitched noise escaped your throat. “yeah, that’s what i thought,” xiao teased, sinking his teeth into your collarbone. your nails dug into his shoulder.
suddenly, he pulled away. you whined pitifully at the loss of contact, but the disappointment didn’t last long. your heart skipped a beat as you realized xiao had pulled away to take off his belt. that fog was getting hard to ignore.
he noticed you staring. “bend over the desk,” he commanded, “and hike up your skirt for me.”
as if your panties weren’t soaked enough before.
nervously, you bent yourself over the desk and pulled your skirt up, exposing the silk panties you had on underneath. they were genuinely comfortable. xiao picked a good day to confess.
you heard him inhale sharply behind you, taking you in. “fuck,” he whispered, running a hand up your thigh. you couldn’t help but squirm. “you’re already so wet i can see it through your panties. does it turn you on when i tell you what to do?”
two fingers traced the outline of your pussy over your panties. “or maybe it was the ‘dumb slut’ part, hmm?”
you moaned helplessly, wriggling your hips. “xiao, please,” you begged, “hurry up, i- i want it.”
“be patient,” he replied. you felt lips press against your inner thigh. your skin felt like it was on fire, his lips burning a trail everywhere they touched. you whimpered and squirmed, desperate.
“please, just- fucking get on with it,” you cried. your cunt was aching. you’d imagined xiao fucking you on shameful, lonely nights. especially on days like this, when the two of you had been at each other’s throats. and now it was here. real.
“god, please-”
“shut the fuck up, slut, or i’ll rip these panties off and gag you with them,” he growled. the fog won. you felt yourself melt into the desk, into submission. your hips stilled, and you bit your lip to keep from whining. every second that passed felt like a lifetime.
finally, he pulled your panties down, exposing your dripping sex. you gasped at the sensation of cold air against you. it only made you feel hotter.
he ran his middle and index finger up and down your folds, maddeningly slow. god, it was hard to keep quiet. you could hardly think about anything but xiao, xiao’s fingers, xiao’s dick.
you couldn’t stop yourself from moaning out loud when his fingers began to circle your clit. they were slow and gentle; you needed them to be more.
“you’re so beautiful,” xiao whispered. you hung on to his every word. “i want to take my time with you, and i promise i will, later.. but right now, i can’t help myself.” he took your wrists into one hand, holding them behind your back. he leaned forward, his lips brushing against your ear as he continued, “i’m going to fuck you senseless.”
you cried out as he plunged two fingers inside you, thrusting in and out roughly. it was a relief, but it wasn’t enough. you tried to grind your hips onto his fingers to no avail. “and you’re going to take what i give you, aren’t you, baby?” he said, kissing a particularly sensitive spot behind your ear.
“because you’re my good, stupid slut.” he added a third finger and curled them inside you, finally hitting the sweet spot he’d been searching for. you let out a low moan at the sensation. “you think you’re so smart, but look at you. trying to fuck yourself on my fingers. if i’d known this is all it takes to shut you up, i would’ve done this a long time ago.”
you mumbled out a pathetic, incoherent moan. you couldn’t even argue with him, you were so desperate.
“it’s okay, pretty girl,” he whispered. “i’ve got you. i’ll give you what you want. you just have to ask.”
you knew what that meant. “please,” you begged, “please- fuck me, xiao! i want it so bad, i’m so..” you trailed off, trying to hang on to your train of thought as he twisted his fingers inside you. your sentence became a string of incoherent please’s.
luckily for you, xiao was nearing the limit of his control. “good girl,” he said. you heard shuffling behind you as he positioned himself, the tip of his cock pressing against the entrance to your cunt. his grip on your wrists tightened. “take a deep breath, baby.”
he thrust his hips forward and finally, he was inside you. it stung at first, but you adjusted quickly. when he felt you relax, he pulled your wrists toward him, using them as leverage to better fuck into you.
“oh, thank you, thankyouthankyouthankyou,” you moaned, relishing in the feeling of him brushing against your g-spot. every thrust had you seeing stars.
“fuck, you feel so good,” xiao hissed, picking up the pace. he pressed kisses down your spine. “so pretty, such a good girl. you like being fucked rough like this, baby? is this what you needed?”
you let out another string of whimpers, nodding desperately. “it’s so good,” you slurred, “i’m close.”
he released your wrists to grab your forearm, pulling you up, against his chest. this angle was somehow better than the last, directly targeting that sweet spot he’d only been brushing before. “oh, yes! right there!” you cried.
xiao let out a growl, fucking you harder than before. “that’s right, you stupid slut. fucking take it,” he snarled, biting into your neck. “you wanna cum?”
you nodded feverishly, no longer bothering to quiet the little noises he forced out of you with each thrust. “yes, god, please,” you begged, tears beginning to form in your eyes.
he suddenly pulled out and flipped you onto your back, thrusting inside you again without missing a beat. you grabbed onto his shoulders, trying to stay grounded. “tell me what you are,” he said, hardly louder than a whisper.
your cheeks were burning. you knew what he meant. in any other circumstance, you would’ve fought him on it, or at least tried to. but you’d never had dick this good in your life. you weren’t about to disobey him.
a thumb hovered above your clit. “tell me what you are,” he repeated, his gaze unwavering. you couldn’t resist him if you tried.
“i’m a dumb slut!” you cried, tears running freely now. he brought his thumb down, rubbing in time with his quick, rough thrusts. your eyes rolled back as you came, cunt clenching down desperately, legs shaking around his waist.
xiao was quick to follow, cumming inside you with a low, gravelly groan as he pulled your hips against him. you whined at the feeling.
as he came down, he pressed his lips to yours again, much gentler than he had earlier. you kissed him back, slowly gathering your bearings.
when you pull away, he peppers your cheeks with light kisses. “you were so good,” he whispered, “so good for me.” you hummed happily, capturing his lips once more.
he pulled out of you, much to your dismay. before you could demand another round, you were hit with a sudden realization. “oh, fuck,” you said, frantically pulling your shirt over your head.
his eyes widened and he put a hand on your arm. “what is it? what’s wrong?” he asked, sounding genuinely concerned. it was a cute look on him.
“the fucking case report,” you grumbled.
he grinned and gently tugged you back to his chest. “don’t worry. i can fix your half in, like, thirty minutes.”
you shot him an annoyed but amused look. “you’re an asshole,” you said. he pressed a kiss to your nose.
“you love it,” he replied.
and you did.

me plus you
Pairing: Eric x Reader
Genre: Fluff
Word Count: 4.6k
Summary: You have to tutor Eric in calculus, but you’re struggling in calculus and Eric doesn’t actually need help.
This was not happening. You rubbed your eyes again as if that was going to change the 0/100 that you received from missing your latest calculus quiz. It didn’t matter how many A’s you got in your past quizzes, a zero would definitely damage your grade. You shoved the test in your bag and made your way towards the teacher’s desk.
“I missed yesterday’s class so I had no idea that I missed this quiz. Is there any way that I can make this up?” You asked your teacher, hoping that she might spare some pity and excuse this quiz. This was out of character for a straight-A student like yourself and you knew that she had a soft spot towards you.
“Unfortunately, it was a unit quiz and you missed it. If you read the syllabus, it explicitly states that there are no make-up opportunities...” She began in a stern voice which eventually turned softer when she noticed the panicked look on your face. “...But knowing how you have always done well in this class, I would be willing to offer extra credit if you join the tutoring center.”
“Consider it done!” You gave your best fake smile as you tried not to think of all the free time you were about to lose. It was your fault, after all, for sleeping in on the day you knew you would have the quiz. Maybe you turned off your alarm because you were struggling in the last few classes and scared to receive a failing grade. Maybe you closed your eyes for “five more minutes” because you didn’t know how to ask for help since you’ve never needed to before.
As you turned to leave, you noticed Eric Sohn push his way from the back of the classroom. He avoided eye contact with the teacher as if that would make him invisible.
“Eric I would like to meet with you.” Your teacher called out to him as he had one foot out of the doorway.
“Aww man, I was so close to escaping.” He muttered under his breath. You bit back a smile at his comment and watched him step back into the classroom. You brushed past him as you left to go sign up for the tutoring center. Eric envied you for being able to walk free, while he was going to be stuck getting yelled at.
“Eric, you’ve been failing all of the recent quizzes. I spoke with your coach and we agreed that you can’t play on the team unless your grades improve.” She shook her head in disappointment.
Eric could not believe what he was hearing. All his practice would have gone towards nothing. He could feel his dreams of becoming a professional baseball player slip away, all because of this one stupid class. “I promise I’ll do better on the next one, just please let me stay on the team.”
Your teacher sighed, “You said that the last time. You still haven’t taken up my recommendation of going to the tutoring center. Another peer might be able to help you better. If your next few grades improve after tutoring, then we’ll talk.”
Eric headed towards the library during his lunch period, which he never would have done under any other circumstance. He preferred to be outside playing basketball with his friends than being cooped up in the library. After signing his name, he sat down on an empty table and waited to be assigned to a tutor. When he tried to look for another familiar name on the tutor list, he noticed yours scribbled neatly with your perfect font-like handwriting. You’ve probably never failed a quiz in your life, let alone the past few quizzes. Eric groaned. How did he let himself slip up in this class? He had a pretty high GPA, but this class was dragging it down from its highest potential.
He flipped through the notebook he dedicated to calculus and was met with empty pages. If only he didn’t stay up late studying for his other classes, he would have been able to pay attention during this class. But resting his eyes always seemed like a much better option.
“Eric? Hi, I’ll be your new calc tutor.” Eric looked up to see you pull out the seat across from him. He let out a sigh of relief because you were not a complete stranger and you always got the highest grades. He would be back on the team in no time. He shot you a smile and his eyes formed crescent moons.
You returned his smile but it was only momentary, and it left as quickly as it came. “Can I tell you a secret?” You fidgeted with your fingers.
Eric was unsure of what to make of your sudden question. He nodded his head to encourage you to continue.
“I have no idea what’s going on in class.” You admitted to him, though this was not something you told anyone else.
Eric let out a laugh, you had to be joking. “Don’t you need an A in this class to be a tutor?”
“Yeah, I just always get my work done on time. My grade doesn’t reflect my understanding of the material but how well I can cheat on all of my assignments.” Upon seeing his confused face, you chose to elaborate. “I usually use photomath, that’s the only way I’ve been passing.”
Eric’s mouth parted in shock. Why didn’t he think of using that app himself? He also couldn’t believe that you were struggling in that class. “Then I’m not crazy, she just really can’t teach. That’s why I haven’t been understanding anything.”
“It’s not you, it’s her.” You assured him. “But can I still ‘tutor’ you because that would be the only way to make up for my last quiz?” You hoped that your desperation wasn’t too obvious.
Eric studied your face, he never had any chance to talk to you this long. Your features were tainted with stress. He could tell that your grades mattered and that he was the only person that could help you. It wouldn’t hurt to spend a little time outside of class with you, it’s not like he had baseball practice to take away his free time.
“Sure, I’m going to need these lessons to explain why I’m suddenly going to do amazing in this class after I start using photomath.”
Your face lit up when you heard him accept and it was enough to ensure that he made the right choice.
“How bad did you do on the last quiz?” Eric still couldn’t believe that you were not the nerd that he thought you were. Teachers always used your work for examples of model work and that was the only impression he had of you prior to this tutor session.
“I got a 0 because I missed class that day.” You looked away in embarrassment. The bright red 0 was still easily visible on your crumpled-up test.
Eric placed his test marked with 65/100 next to yours. “Well I didn’t pass even though I was in class, so we can try to work on it together.”
You flipped to the chapter that the quiz was on and turned the textbook sideways so that he could also see. The library was mainly empty save for you two because the weather was nice and everyone would much rather go outside for lunch. Your table was positioned right near the window, and Eric had the perfect view of all of his friends playing baseball on the school field. He could have been there if he didn’t slack off this bad.
No matter how many times you read the page, you still couldn’t quite get the concept down. No other class had you stuck like this one. While you were stuck rereading, Eric started attempting the first problem on his quiz. He finished in a matter of seconds and you took out photomath, a calculator app that solves literally everything, to check if it’s the same answer.
You couldn’t hide the look of shock on your face when the answer on your screen matched the one on his paper. “Eric I didn’t know that you were a genius. You have to teach me how to do this.”
Eric’s face also matched yours as he was also surprised at himself. He never even thought to attempt the problems before.
“I don’t really know what I did.” He confessed but tried to walk you through his thought process. Hearing him explain the steps allowed you to think of the problem in an entirely different way and it was the only thing you needed to understand how to solve it. Your face still expressed the initial shock, but now you felt more impressed than surprised.
Eric laughed at the irony, here he was tutoring you instead of the other way around. “I’ll have you know that just because I’m a sports guy doesn’t mean that I’m an airhead.”
“And having A’s doesn’t exactly mean that I’m a nerd. I knew you weren’t an airhead, but sleeping during class didn’t exactly make you look the smartest.” You teased him, before asking him the real question that was plaguing your mind. “You picked it up so quickly, why did you fail the last few quizzes?”
He switched his gaze from the paper to look straight into your eyes. “Honestly, I didn’t have any motivation to actually do the quizzes. I thought that I was screwed since I kept sleeping during class. And I have to sacrifice some classes to do better in the rest.” He answered, before moving on to the next problem.
With him facing towards the paper, you took note of his perfect side profile. His eyebrows were furrowed as he thought about how to solve the question. Wow, his jawline was sharp and you were getting sidetracked.
Using his method, you were able to breeze through the problems. You were the type of student to follow the book, word for word, while Eric was the opposite. He was carefree and just did what he felt like, and it worked. You would’ve never thought to experiment like he did but it was exactly what you needed to do.
“Wait I don’t get how to do these last few problems.” He interrupted you from your thoughts and you leaned closer to get a better view of the problem. You checked the steps to solve the problem from photomath and figured out how to solve it.
While you were explaining the problem to him, Eric suddenly became aware of the short proximity between the two of you. His eyes traced your features and they subconsciously drifted towards your lips. He wondered whether they felt as soft as they looked, in a totally platonic way, of course. He shook his head to clear his thoughts.
“That’s why you use this- Eric? Were you even listening?” You turned to face him after he stopped being responsive. Eric felt the blood rush to his cheeks. He quickly scanned the paper and pretended that he was paying attention all along. “Yeah I was listening, I understand it.”
You spent the rest of the period working together to get through the quiz. You two were in your own world and you wouldn’t have noticed how much time went by if the library didn’t become loud, signaling the end of the period, as students transitioned between classes. The period never felt this short.
“We are quite the team,” Eric said as you packed up your things.
“Surprisingly, we are. Let’s meet up again at the same time next week.” You waved at him and rushed to get to your next class.
“See you in class.” Eric watched as you left the library and looked forward to the next time he would see you.
Upon entering calculus class the next day, Eric searched for your face. He found you sitting in your usual seat near the window. Your head was down on the desk, unaware that he was approaching you.
“Is this seat taken?” You lifted your head to see Eric gesturing to the seat next to you. You shook your head, confused as to why he decided to sit next to you instead of the back of the classroom.
You didn’t have to worry about saving a seat for a friend because calculus was the one class that you didn’t share with any friends. You didn’t realize it until now but none of the boys you saw Eric hang out with were in this class either. At least you two would have each other now.
“Isn’t it easier to sleep in the back of the classroom?” You questioned.
“It is, but it's easier to cheat- I mean learn next to you.” He said with a cheeky grin.
Your teacher walked in, cutting off your small talk.
You took out your calculus textbook and notebook while you waited for the teacher to begin. Out of the corner of your eye, you saw Eric scribble something on the last page of his notebook. When the teacher turned around to write on the chalkboard, he slid his notebook over to you and tapped you.
i forgot my textbook in my locker, can i look over on yours?
You pushed your textbook towards him and positioned it in between you two. He mouthed a quick “thanks.”
Your teacher began explaining the new concept and you almost forgot about Eric’s presence next to you as you copied down everything that was on the board.
“Wait, is that a four or a nine?” You whispered, trying to decipher the messy handwriting. When you heard no response from Eric, you turned to look at him for the first time since class had started. Eric’s head was resting on the palm of his hand and his eyes were closed shut. He did not just leave you to fend for yourself. You nudged his hand and his head fell onto the desk with a loud thud.
Your teacher briefly turned around to call out whoever was interrupting her lesson but you resumed writing and Eric pretended to read the textbook page extremely closely. After she faced the board again, Eric raised his eyebrows at you, as if to ask why you disrupted his sleep. Not wanting to draw attention again, you passed him a note.
pay attention if you want the teacher to like you, trust me it works.
easier said than done, teacher’s pet.
Eric waited for you to read his note before he stuck his tongue out at you.
You were going to deny being the teacher’s pet when you were interrupted by Hyunjae, who sat on your other side. “Can you help me with number 1?”
“Uh sure.” You responded, despite wanting to work with Eric. You glanced back at Eric, but he began working on the new problem set by himself.
Though Eric’s eyes were focused on the paper in front of him, his ears couldn’t help but listen to your conversation with Hyunjae.
“You’re a lifesaver, thank you so much. Can I pay you back with bubble tea after school?” Hyunjae gave you a flirtatious smile.
Eric’s grip on his pen tightened. He convinced himself that he was only annoyed because he didn’t know how to solve the problem.
“I would never say no to free bubble tea.” You checked to see if Eric was listening from your peripheral vision once again, but he seemed to be disinterested. You weren’t sure why you kept looking back at Eric, maybe you wanted to see if he would object. Or maybe you wanted him to object. But he made no such move to stop you.
Hyunjae beamed. “Great, let’s meet up after class. And maybe we can study for the next test together?”
You narrowed your eyes at him. “Were you just trying to bribe me with bubble tea?”
Eric’s head was facing downwards as he tried to hide his feelings of betrayal. The nerve Hyunjae had to steal his study partner.
“And if I was?” Hyunjae challenged.
“That was a smart way to bribe me, you might not even need to study with how smart you are.” You answered.
Eric slammed his pen down, causing you and Hyunjae to look at him.
“Oops, it slipped.” He blurted, feeling satisfied because he interrupted Hyunjae.
The bell rang and you rushed to copy down the homework into your planner.
“Do you want to work on the homework together?” Eric suggested while packing up his things. “I didn’t know how to do the third set of problems.” He added in, hoping that it would convince you to work together.
“I don’t know, I’m in high demand these days. Everyone wants to study with me.” You flaunted. Of course you would study with him, you just wanted to make him work for it. Eric rushed to follow you out of the classroom.
“Pretty please.” He pouted and gave you puppy eyes. You snorted at his attempt of acting cute, which he didn’t even need to do since he was naturally cute.
“Okay fine, but only if you stop doing that hideous face.” You stopped to open your locker.
Eric leaned on the locker next to yours and crossed his arms. “No one can resist this sexy face.”
“Yeah okay.” You replied in a sarcastic tone, though you secretly agreed with him. You took a pen out of your locker and grabbed his hand. Eric held his breath and watched to see what you would do next. You wrote your phone number on the palm of his hand. “Text me. Or facetime me, whatever works for you.” You shut your locker and headed to your next class.
Eric stared at your number on his hand and smiled to himself, his heart still racing from when you touched him.
While you walked away, you felt proud that you were able to pull that move off. But then the color drained from your face. You never said what time. The power rested entirely on Eric and when he decided to contact you. That means that you would have to wait and possibly be camera-ready all day.
As soon as Eric got home from school, he entered your phone number and saved your contact. He wondered whether he would seem too eager if he texted you right away. You were probably still studying with Hyunjae. Eric scoffed as he thought about how Hyunjae was there instead of him.
You stared at the black screen on your phone. Tapping on it for the millionth time, the screen read 8:15 pm. Why didn’t you specify a time? You dived for your phone every time you saw your phone light up with a notification.
Was he even going to facetime you? You glanced around your room in horror. You weren’t able to fix it when you rushed out of the house this morning. You could not let Eric see this mess. You got to work fixing your room while you waited for him to text you. Hearing the familiar vibration, you reached for your phone, hoping it wasn’t another spam email.
hey, it’s eric. are you free to ft and work on the hw rn?
Eric sent the text and threw his phone on the bed. He had spent 15 minutes debating whether his text was too casual. Hugging his pillow, he anxiously waited for you to respond.
yea i’m free
You checked your room once again to see if anything was out of place. Then you saw your reflection in the mirror. You were so caught up in fixing your room, you forgot to fix your appearance. You quickly applied something on your lips so you wouldn’t look too bad.
After sitting down in front of a lamp so you would have optimal lighting, you picked up his facetime call.
“Hey.” You felt your breath hitch in your throat. His hair was still wet from the shower he took just earlier. You didn’t think it was possible for him to get any hotter.
“So how was your date with Hyunjae.” He didn’t even try to hide the bitterness in his tone. Wow, real smooth Eric. He should’ve waited a bit longer to bring it up, but he couldn’t help it.
You laughed at his choice of a conversation starter. “It wasn’t a date, and it was actually very fun. Maybe I need to start charging you for my services. I’ll only accept payment with bubble tea from now on.”
“Spending quality time with me is your payment.” He replied with a smug look on his face.
You shook your head. “That is not enough, I fear.”
Eric crossed his arms and tried to look offended. “I’ll hang up right now then.”
“Need I remind you that you were the one that begged me to help you today?” You spoke matter-of-factly. “But if you must leave, go. I’m very busy you know.”
“Busy studying with other guys? I thought we had something special.” He dramatically clutched his heart.
“You wish, you are yet another one of my side hoes.”
“Your main hoe being boba?” He raised an eyebrow.
You paused to think of a witty response. “It seems you are more interested in my love life than those calculus problems you needed help with.”
“Those problems can wait.” He shrugged his shoulders.
“Fine, how about this? For every problem you get correct, you can ask me a question and I’ll answer it honestly.” You proposed.
Eric smiled widely. “I like how you think. And what happens if I get them wrong?”
“Then I get to ask you a question.” You replied.
“You won’t be able to ask me any questions.” His cockiness was apparent from how confidently he spoke. “The first solution is 5.”
Checking the answer to the first problem, you confirmed that it was 5.
“Since this is about your love life, do you have a boyfriend?” He asked, desperately wanting you to say no.
“Wouldn’t you like to know? Yes, I do have one.” You watched for Eric’s reaction. Eric’s smile dropped for a split second as he registered what you said.
“Oh really? Who? Do I know him?” He interrogated, completely dropping his previous act.
You felt amused watching him squirm. “That’s three other problems you have to get right.”
To your surprise, Eric continued to get the next three problems correct.
“So who is your boyfriend?” He phrased carefully.
“Hyunjae.” You said with a straight face.
Eric’s eyes grew 10 times the size they were. “Really?”
“Nah, I’m just playing. I don’t have a boyfriend.” You finally revealed the truth.
That definitely made Eric happier than he’d like to admit.
“You just made me waste two questions.” He emphasized by holding up two fingers.
“Did you even need help with those problems Eric?”
“Yes...but I figured them all out while you were flirting with Hyunjae.” He looked away from the screen.
“I was not flirting with Hyunjae.” You lied. You did flirt a little, but that was only because you wanted to see if Eric got jealous.
Eric rolled his eyes, not believing you. “Sure you weren’t.”
“You have not seen me flirt, believe me, you would know.” You told him honestly. If you were going to flirt with anyone, it would be him.
Eric’s smile returned once again. “I look forward to seeing that.”
You and Eric fell into a routine where you met up every week to study calculus. And then facetimed after school. And then texted at night. You would work together during class, and Eric would get annoyed every time Hyunjae tried to join.
You and Eric were prepared for the next calculus quiz and your efforts paid off. As soon as Eric got his quiz back, his first thought was to see the look on your face when he told you his grade.
At the end of class, Eric proudly dangled his quiz in front of your face, he couldn’t contain the smile on his face.
You saw a large A on the top of the first page and you pulled him into a hug. Before you could regret acting so spontaneously, Eric hugged you back just as tightly. This was the first time you both hugged, but it felt so comforting and you didn’t want to let go. “Wow I’m so proud of you, I can’t believe you’re scoring higher than me.” You said when you finally pulled away.
“I’m coming for your throne.” Eric winked at you.
After consistently doing well in the classwork, Eric realized that he didn’t need help anymore. The tutoring sessions eventually became an excuse to meet you.
Eric pointed at a problem, his eyes trained on yours, “Can you explain this to me?”
“Eric, you literally taught me how to solve this.” You giggled.
“Oh, did I? Um...well I forgot. Explain it to me again?” You could never resist Eric’s puppy-dog eyes. The more time you spent with him, the more you realized how cute he was.
“Graph this equation.” Eric had randomly said one day while you were studying at the library.
You stared at the equation he wrote and looked back at him with confusion. “How is this relevant to calculus?”
“Just do it.” He whined.
You reached for your graphing calculator and entered the equation.
Staring at the shape the equation produced, you were pleasantly surprised to see that it resembled...“A heart?”
You looked up to see Eric grinning from ear-to-ear, clearly proud that he was able to find this equation.
“Very cute Eric. This is why you urgently needed to meet up today?” You raised an eyebrow.
“Yeah, that and I needed to talk to you about something else. My coach told me that the improvement in my grades is enough for me to rejoin the team.” Eric started, unsure of whether he should tell you that he didn’t need tutoring anymore.
“Oh really? That’s great news!” You kept your eyes focused on the paper. You knew that him joining the team would mean your tutoring sessions would have to come to an end soon. “I’m guessing you won’t have time to study anymore.”
Eric knew that he wanted to see you every day, but he didn’t want to pretend that he only wanted to meet you under the pretense of studying. He took a deep breath before speaking. You brought your eyes to meet his when you realized that something must have been up. Eric was never quiet for this long.
“I was wondering if you wanted to continue meeting up outside of school hours, just us two,” Eric asked hesitantly, waiting for your response.
Your eyes widened. Was he asking you out? It’s not a complete reach because you two have been spending a lot of time “studying.” You were afraid that you were taking his words in the wrong way. “You want to study outside?”
“Oh...no, no studying. It would just be us meeting up outside, no calculus.” He looked at the floor.
“Eric Sohn, are you asking me out on a date?” You asked him.
“Only if you’re comfortable with that. I’ve liked you for a while and I didn’t really need help anymore but I still want to see you often. I understand if you don-”
You cut off his rambling with a kiss. You resisted the urge to laugh at how red his ears were when you pulled away. “I like you too. Finally you can buy me my long-deserved boba.”

Pairings: Athlete!Kirishima x PlusSize!Reader
Summary: College AU The reader is Kirishima's History tutor and they kinda have a crush on each other. It takes an afterparty filled with horny guys and a skin-tight dress for Kiri to realize he wants them all to himself.
Warning: Do I even need to say it at this point? It's smut, obvi. Kinda unedited. The reader and her best friend are black. Kirishima is a football player; he's VERY possessive over the reader. Her best friend is a little gay for her as well.
Author's Note: This was a commission!!!!! The client gave me this insane prompt and I had no choice but to go over the word limit. If you want to commission me, click here! Your support really means the world to me. Enjoy!
Word Count: 5,300
“You’re back early!” My roommate, Liza, yelled from the other side of the apartment-style dorm room. The sound of her chair scraping the floor followed shortly after, along with the light footsteps of her sock-clad feet. “I left you a plate in the microwave, in case you were hungry. I could heat it up, if you’re too tired— why the long face? What happened?”
“He didn’t show up,” I sighed as I dropped my books on the table and sank into a chair.
“How can he not show up?” Liza fumed crossing her arms. “His GPA is already in the gutter from all the other quizzes he seemed to fail before the semester even started.”
“I know,” I replied in a bored tone.
“He’s on academic probation—”
“I know.”
“One more hiccup and he’ll be off the football team—”
“I know.”
“Not to mention how you practically have to bend backward to make time for him—”
“Mhm.”
“Just for him to flake on you for the third time! I just—”
“Liza, please,” I rose from my seat and stood in front of her. “You don’t have to be angry with me. It’s truly okay.”
“No! It’s not okay!” She stormed to the microwave and pulled the cover plate from the inside. She removed the foil and pushed it back into the device, before pressing the start button four times. She turns to face me and forces an angered sigh from her lips. “He likes you, you know that right?”
I lifted my books from the table and walked to our shared room. I took in the words that she threw at me with each step and digested them. Kirishima liked me. It wasn’t as though I didn’t have an inkling that he may be, sorta found me attractive. Although I wore glasses, I wasn’t blind. At least with them on. I saw the way he looked at me when we were less than a foot apart. Shoulders practically touching as we slouched over the Advanced American History textbook. Our hands brushing against each other’s ever so often. The sparkle in his eye when he looked at me longer than a few seconds; the blush on his cheeks when I smiled at his corny jokes. His persistent tendency to walk me home, although most times, we finished our study sessions just before dusk. The way he stayed glued to my side during the journey to my dorm. How he’d carry my books on the way. I noticed it all and practically welcomed it, since I too found him attractive. The spiky redhead just had a way of making everyone swoon over him. Kirishima was genuinely a nice person, not because there was something in it for him, but just because.
The beeping from the microwave brought me back to reality. I placed the textbooks on the designated space on the shelf and fixed my scattered stationery from that morning. Liza shuffled in with a bowl of baked fetta pasta, and a piece of toasted garlic bread a few minutes later. She placed the bowl on the desk, with a fork, a can of sparkling soda, and my favorite metal straw.
“What did I do to deserve you?” I said with a tired smile.
“Helped me pass ‘Text and Ideas’ with an A-,” Liza smiled back and placed a hand on my shoulder.
“Oh right,” I took a seat at the desk and forked the starchy dish in my mouth. “This is heaven-sent.”
“I knew you’d like it!” She deemed walking to her own desk. “I got the recipe from tiktok.”
I hum in response and continued to stuff my face. After a few minutes of silence, I grab the phone from my back pocket and unlocked it. A new message from Kirishima was the newest notification from many and it said:
Hey, I am sorry for not showing up. My teammate got shitfaced and decided to take a dive into the fountain. It took three of us to pull him out. It sucks because I was really looking forward to seeing you.
Since my mouth had already filled to its brink with pasta, I opted for a tight-lipped smirk instead of a toothy one. Kirishima all but admitted that he missed me. My hunch was right: the feelings are mutual. I swallowed the pasta and swiveled around in my chair to look at Liza. Her eyes were glued to her phone, but she snapped her head up to laugh at the content on her screen. Once she was down laughing, I picked my phone up and pointed it in her general direction. Reaching forward, she grasped the device and quickly read the message.
“Don’t respond to him,” she said, handing the phone back to me.
“Why? I thought you were shipping us together?” I asked whilst forking more pasta in my mouth.
“That’s why I’m telling you what I am telling you!” Liza rose to her feet and in a split second, she stood in front of me with a sickening smile.
“I am afraid to ask,” I said with a sigh.
“You don’t have to; I’m gonna tell you anyway,” she squats between my legs and widens her smile. “That boy is already wrapped around your finger, all you need to do is pull away. Just a tiny bit and he’ll come running.”
“Liza. . .”
“Hear me out!” She rose to her feet again and walked to the closet. “Remember when I went thrift shopping last week and I picked up that cute bodycon dress?”
“Yeah. . . ?”
“Well, I washed it and realized that it didn’t have the BODY to fill it out properly.” She pulls the dress from the closet and turns back to me. “And since the Homecoming Afterparty is at the Quarterback's house tomorrow night, I thought it would be the perfect time for you to wear it.”
I eye the dress, taking in its extremely short length and strappy detailing on the front. One wrong move and my breasts would spill right out of it. But, one right move would have them fall onto Kiri’s lap. I tried my best to list the pros and cons of the situation. Pondering what I could get out of the ordeal going to the lion’s den dressed as a gazelle. Yet, all I could imagine was me twerking on someone’s son and taking him home afterward.
💘🖤💘🖤
The dress fit like a glove: perfectly tight, almost like a second skin, but very breathable. I paired it with some hoop earrings, a few bangles on each wrist, and 3-inch kitten heels. My goal was to dress to impress, not nurse my aching arches by the end of the night. The entire ride over to the nicer part of town was nerve-wracking, for one, the Uber driver wouldn’t stop staring at my cleavage from the driver’s mirror. And, secondly, Liza practically had phone sex with her boyfriend, who was going to meet us at the party. I stared down at my phone the whole time, rereading Kiri’s message and the ones he sent afterward. It was true, he was wrapped around my finger. He didn’t double text; Kirishima sent five messages in a row.
Hey, are you free tomorrow? I wanted to talk about yesterday.
I’ll buy you that weird thing you like from Starbucks.
The drink you said that tastes like the moon.`
And I’ll get you those cake pop things.
My heart couldn’t help but flutter; I didn’t know he was paying that much attention to me. I only mentioned that Starbucks drink once in his presence, quite a while ago. It had to be a little over a month ago, yet he still remembered.
The car stopped and Liza popped right out. Her 34 inch Brazilian, straight swaying behind her as she closes the door. Still chatting with her boyfriend, she motions me out of the car with an eager smile. Reluctantly, I detach myself from the cool leather and tug on my dress as I closed the door behind me. I looked up toward the mansion before me, white paint and overwhelming size almost frightened me. But, when I saw a familiar, spiky-haired, redhead, all my potential fear left my body and warmth replaced it.
Kirishima’s back was to me; he was having an intense conversation with his best friend, Bakugo, one of the team’s Linebackers. The blond was so close to popping a fuse but Kiri was struggling to keep from laughing directly in his face. I approach the porch, slow and sensual, my eyes glued to him the entire walk over. Kirishima briefly turns around to address a comer of the group, Sero, an offensive player, when his eyes come up the steps. The humorous expression on his face drops and is replaced with awe. The other two boys look in the direction of his eyesight and replicate his reaction.
“Hi—” I lifted my hand to wave, but it never made it past my abdomen. Liza appeared right in front of me and captured my wrist.
“Girl, it’s our song! Hurry up!” She said as she proceeded to drag me into the house.
“Bye—! Wait, damn!”
Liza pulled me to the makeshift dance floor in the middle of the living room of the home. She starts to bop side to side, swaying her hips in place. It takes me a few seconds to register that “34+35” was blasting the speakers. Liza twirls around me in a fit of giggles and continues to bop along to the music.
“I thought you liked “positions” better than this track?” I questioned as I matched her rhythm.
“I do! I just had to get you out of there,” Liza answered as she swayed her head back and forth. Which made her hair move in an angelic wave behind her bandeau top and pencil skirt. “Those three guys looked like they wanted to run a train on you.”
“ELIZABETH!!!!” I screamed with a shocked smile.
“What?! I’m not lying!” She gives me a bashful smirk. “You look so good, mamas! Shit, you're making me rethink my relationship with Shinso.”
“Oh my god!” I laughed. “I can’t take your ass anywhere, for real!”
The song began to fade out and bleed into “Pussy Talk” with the infamous City Girls. Liza’s soft bops began to move into full booty bouncing. Soon her hands are on her knees and she’s throwing her ass back on my lap. I press my hand flat on her back and lift my other hand in the air. She whines her waist and looks back at me as her inner hot girl is threatening to make an appearance. Shortly after the first verse, Liza straightens her back and dances around me as I bop to the side, bouncing my ass to the music. A smile comes to my lips as my favorite part plays on full blast.
“Pussy talented, it do cartwheels,” Liza and I screamed in unison. “And he pay ‘cause he like how that part feel.”
“Pussy give speeches, heartfelt,” I continued, popping my back against my friend.
“Yuh,” Liza ad-libbed.
“Said the pussy really talk like it Garfield,” I rapped as I felt Liza’s hands glide up my sides.
“It do!”
We danced around each other for the rest of the song and pulled away from the floor, desperately needing to hydrate. We practically stumbled toward the makeshift bar across the living room. We reached into the cooler and pulled out two bottles of water. We chugged the water and tossed the empty bottles in the trash.
“Only water, ladies?” Mineta asked as we turned back towards the dance floor. “You don’t want something a little. . . stronger?”
“Get lost, grape juice,” a familiar voice suddenly came out of nowhere.
Just a few feet behind the purple blob stood Kirishima and Shinso. If looks could kill, Mineta’s body parts would be staining the marble floors and messing up my fresh pedicure. The poor excuse for a human scurried away as both football players approached us. Shinso instantly wrapped his arms around Liza and planted a kiss on her forehead.
“Having fun, baby girl?” His low voice sounded sensual against the harsh music.
A seductive smile falls on Liza’s face. “I would’ve had even more fun if you actually danced with me for once.”
“You know I don’t like—”
“Too bad!” She pulled Shinso to the dance floor.
Leaving me alone with Kirishima. I turned to look at him and offered him an awkward smile. “How was your diving lesson?”
The redhead returned my smile and scratched the back of his neck. “So you did read me my texts? I was starting to think you were mad at me or something.”
“Not at you, per se,” I replied thinking of my words carefully.
“Then who were you mad at?” Kirishima closes the distance between us and puts a finger under my chin. He redirects my attention to his face and gives me a smirk.
He looked good and he knew it. He wore a simple white t-shirt and black ripped jeans. But, he paired it with a burgundy leather jacket and a Cuban link silver chain. He had a gold wristwatch on his left wrist and a simple chain on his right. And his cologne. . . it danced in my nostrils. It wasn’t too heavy or suffocating; you simply had to be close to him to smell it.
Kirishima was playing a dangerous game and he knew it.
“At the people that take you away from me,” I looked at him with doughy eyes and slightly parted lips. A look of innocence was written all over my face.
Kirishima clenched his jaw and briefly looked away. A blush starting to form on his cheeks. “Well, I—. Shit.” He remained silent for a few seconds, gathering his words, before saying “You don’t know what you do to me, Y/N.”
“And what’s that?” I asked while removing his hand from my chin and bringing it to my lips. I gently kiss his bruised knuckles, never breaking eye contact while doing so.
The redhead opens his mouth to speak but is rudely interrupted by a yelling Liza.
“GET YOUR ASS OVER HERE, BITCH!!!! THEY’RE PLAYING OUR SONG!!!!”
While I was talking to Kirishima, the music seemed to slip away. I had no idea what was playing until I refocused my attention on the blaring speakers. “Come on, Kiri. Duty calls.” I drag him to the dance floor.
Liza unlatches herself from Shinso and twirls around me. “I’m not shy, I’ll say it. I’ve been picturing you naked.”
“I’m a little faded, you look like a fucking painting,” I continue the verse as I glide my hands along my body. “Big doe eyes, amazin’. She’s everything I’ve been prayin’.”
Liza walked up to Kirishima and glided her hand along his chest. “Me and your girlfriend playin’ dress-up house.” She pressed two fingers against her lips and poked her tongue out. “I gave your girlfriend cunnilingus on my couch.”
Kirishima blushes a bright red, nearly matching his hair. It takes everything in me not to laugh.
I look back at Shinso and he’s just shaking his head with a smile on his face.
“Go get your girlfriend, before she devours your teammate,” I said giggly quietly.
“Go get your best friend before she kills your loverboy,” Shinso counters looking down at me with a smirk.
“He looks like he's gonna pass out,” I replied, struggling to contain my laughter.
“If you think that’s bad, you should’ve seen him when you were twerking on Liza,” Shinso jested while leaning closer to me. “Eijiro looked like he came in his pants.”
I smacked his arm and leaned against his chest. “You’re lying!” Laughter overcame my body; tears were gathering in the corners of my eyes.
“I swear to god,” Shinso struggled to say while laughing. “Then, when Bakugo called you hot. . . Eiji almost went feral.”
“Stop. . . I can’t breathe. . .”
“You better fuck him like the world is ending. . . I can’t keep stopping him from. . . fighting the entire team over you.”
“You and Liza. . . perfect for each other. . . I cannot. . .”
The song swiftly faded out into another. Yet another one of Liza’s favorites: Buss it by Erika Banks.
The young woman peeled herself from Kirishima and began walking to her boyfriend. I distanced myself from Shinso and walked over to Kirishima. I wrapped my arms around his neck and looked into his eyes. “Are you okay, Kiri?” A smile painted my lips.
His eyes darkened and he gripped my waist firmly. “I want you. . . so bad right now.”
“How about we get outta here?” I suggested with a raised eyebrow.
“Go say goodbye to your friends, I’ll bring the car around,” Kirishima asserted with a smirk. He pressed a kiss to my forehead before detaching himself from me and walking out of the living room.
I turned back to Shinso and Liza, who were seconds away from eating each other’s face off. I tapped the loving couple and cleared my throat. They both pulled away and stared at me.
"We're leaving," I said simply.
"About fucking time," Liza replied with a smirk. "You better come back to the dorm in a goddamn wheelchair, if not, I'm sending you back to his place."
"You have like zero chill," I shook my head and waved goodbye.
"Don't forget to use protection!" Liza yelled after me.
A chuckle fell from my lips as I walked out of the front door. I found Kirishima exactly where he said he'd be: parked in front of the massive house, within a bright red mustang. He exited the car and walked around to the passenger side of the vehicle. He opened my door and helped me get in. Kirishima made sure I was buckled in and comfortable before entering the car on the driver's side.
He starts the vehicle, and places his right hand on my thigh. He gives the plush fresh a securing squeeze before pulling away from the curb.
The drive was short and sweet, averaging around ten minutes. We parked across the street from the boys’ dorm hall and exited the car. Kirishima opened my door and helped me out of the vehicle.
"If you don't want this, I could always take you home," he said as he shut my door. "I don't want to pressure you into anything."
"I want this more than you know," I responded while gripping his hand. "But, if I ever feel uncomfortable, I'll let you know."
Kirishima nods and smiles. "Good girl. Now let's go."
The moment his dorm's door closed, his body was pressed against mine and his hand glued to my waist. His lips massaged against my own, slow and sensually. I moaned against the kiss, and pressed my body closer to his. He felt so good attached to me, almost like he was meant to be against me. His searing hot kisses inched down my jawline and to my neck. Kirishima's hands slid up my abdomen and to my shoulders, he slipped the straps from the curved surface and pulled away just enough just to allow me to remove them from my arms.
He kissed the other side of my neck, leaving little bites here and there. The redhead ran his tongue against my collarbones and I swear a flood rushed to my nether regions. Kirishima kissed down and left my breast, gathering the anticipation that swirled through my body before latching his lips on my nipple. A throat my moan fell from my mouth and my legs jolted slightly. My mind continued to fog as he nestled against the sensitive bud, while happily moaning against the soft flesh. I pressed one hand against the front door and another in his hair.
Pants left my lips as I began to squirm underneath his body. "Take me to the bed, please," I begged while looking down at him. " I want you so bad, Kiri."
The redhead detached himself from my breast and gripped my chin. "Say my name, baby." His red eyes stared deeply into my brown ones, taking in every little detail of my expression.
"Eijiro," I said breathlessly.
"Say it again," he broke eye contact and gripped my waist.
"Eijiro."
His hands slipped down the curve of my rear and to my legs. He lifted limbs from off the ground and wrapped them around his waist. I wrapped my arms around his leg immediately afterward and giggled.
He walked further into the dorm room and passed through another dorm. He sits me on the extra-long twin bed and falls to his knees between my legs. Kiri unlatches my strappy heel and tosses it to the other side of the room. While he does the other foot, a smirk presses against his lips.
"What?" I asked while looking down at him.
"I'm just thinking about how this started," he said while smiling. "How my shifty grades gave me the best thing that ever happened to me."
"Stop it," I counter with a blush on my face. "You're exaggerating."
"Baby, I mean it with every fiber of my being when I say this," he leaned forward. "I've wanted to be with you for a while now, I just didn't know if you'd like me back. And I was kinda ashamed of taking so long to say something because you're so sweet and you really helped me a lot with Advanced American History. I didn’t want you to think I was using you for information or anything."
I leaned forward and pressed my lips on his forehead. "I liked you even before I officially knew you. When you beat the shit out of that guy that tried to home a drunk girl."
"I don't even remember that."
"It was during a Halloween party last year, that was when I first saw you. And I thought, "wow I wish more men like him existed in this world"."
"I can't believe you remember that."
"How could I not? You basically saved that girl's life and dignity. You were the only human being in a room full of predators. That's when I knew I wanted you for myself."
Kirishima laughs. "Greedy, little Y/N."
I shrugged.
"Come here."
I gathered the football player into my arms and pressed my lips onto his. Taking in every ounce of his kiss. Sucking on his bottom lip. Slipping my tongue within his mouth. Tugging against his collar to close the distance between us. After a few seconds, Kirishima kissed down my body again until he was face to face with my heated center. He scrunched the dress around my waist and pulled my panties off my legs before spreading my legs wide open.
"Oh… look how wet you are, baby," he kissed the soft skin in between my thighs. "All for me."
Kirishima dipped his head between my legs and took a long swipe at the sticky mess between them. A shiver ran along my spine, Arching my back, I released a soft whimper and spread my legs further apart. He dipped his tongue into the smooth canal repeatedly, bobbing his head as he completed the action. His calloused hands slid up my legs once more and hooked around my thighs. Kiri moved his hot mouth from the very bottom of my womanhood to the top, leaving a long string of spit along the way. The redhead sucked on the protruding bud tenderly; with hollowed cheeks, he looked up from my heat and stared into my eyes. I bit my lip and moaned loudly.
“Fuck, you feel good,” I arched my back against his mouth and bucked my hips slowly.
Kirishima released my bud with a silent “pop” and began lapping the rosy, pink button in great haste. My legs jolted at the new source of stimulation and a throaty whine fell from my lips. Squeezing my eyes shut, I squirmed underneath his mouth, desperately wanting to add more friction. Kiri noticed my slutty movements and began to move his tongue even faster.
“Ah. . . just like that, don’t stop,” my fingers gathered my bosoms and gave them a firm squeeze. The walls of my slick cave began to clench and release themselves at a faster pace. Tingles rose up my body, swirling against my lower abdomen, almost numbing my lower half entirely. Then, a searing sensation ripped through me, causing my hips to raise from the bed and my knees to shake. A low scream left my mouth as I felt the throbbing of my bud increase tremendously.
“Oh fuck! Oh fuck! Oh fuck!” My hips fell on the bed again and my legs shook violently. Kirishima steadied them as much as he could before a whole another wave hit my body and my entire being went still.
“Ah! Eijiro!” I screamed as the pleasure shot through my body for the last time. Pants left my throat and short spurts, just as sweat dripped from my forehead. I looked down at Kirishima, who had just pulled away from my spasming cunny. He had a look of astonishment on his face, as if he couldn’t believe his eyes. He looked down at my wrecked body, taking in the shaking limbs, the thin layer of sweat upon it, and the scrunched-up dress at the waist.
“You sounded so hot screaming my name,” he finally said after a few seconds of silence. “No one has ever made it sound so good as you.”
“Well, grab a condom and I’ll scream your name for the rest of the night,” I replied with a smirk. “If you can last that long.”
“Oh, baby,” Kiri’s smile widened. “You have no idea.”
He walked over to his dresser and pulled out a box of condoms from the top drawer. He ripped one off the sleeve and walked back over to me. I pulled the scrunched-up dress over my head and tossed it to the side. I looked over at Kiri and he’d already stripped himself of his T-shirt. He was currently unbuckling his belt with the condom packet in his mouth. His massive bulge immediately caught my eye and I moaned in anticipation. Kirishima rips the packet open with his teeth and rolls latex down his throbbing shaft. My walls clench at the delicious sight and I could feel my nipple begin to stiffen
“If you’re still tired, we can wait a little—” Kirishima begins to say before I cut him off.
“Eijiro, stop being nice and fuck me like a slut.”
His lips were on mine within the next heartbeat. His hands roamed every crevice of my body, taking in the soft tissue and stretchmarks lovingly. His throbbing member slowly slid into me with little to no friction. He made sure to thumb my clitoris while inserting himself, just so he wouldn’t hurt me. And I swear, I was seconds away from asking him to marry me. He gently moved his hips backward, and then pushed forward again. Highlighting his first stroke. He looked at the crimson hue on my face and leaned down to kiss me.
“You are so pretty, princess,” Kiri groaned softly, as he moved his hips at a gentle pace. “So, so pretty.”
I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him again. Our tongues danced together as his member tenderly kissed my sensitive walls with each thrust. Kirishima moaned against my lips, as he took in every part of that union. He hiked up one of my legs and hooked it around his waist while he cradled the back of my neck with the other. He looked into my eyes as he increased the pressure of his strokes and their depth. My mouth hung open, and drool poured from the side of it as he kept up the sickening pace. My eyes began to roll back as throat moans rose from the depth of my body.
“Oh God. . .” I slurred as the pleasure increased within my body.
“Aww look at my pretty baby,” Kiri grunted as he rested his hand on my neck. He pressed his thumb between my lips.
I sucked on the digit and looked into his eyes. He moved his hips faster and my lips separated from around the finger. Pants fell from my lips as I felt his member sensually assault my cervix. After a few minutes, Kirishima suddenly pauses and hikes one of my legs up to his shoulders. He readjusts his body, leaving his hand on my neck and placing his hand on my clit. Kiri began to rock his hips in a powerful, but steady motion. He rubs the throbbing bud in a gentle motion, slowly gathering every ounce of pleasure within my body. The pace of my breathing increased rapidly, as the pool in my stomach began to inflate. Whimpers fell from my lips as I gripped the sheets underneath me.
“I’m so close. . .” I whispered through tight lips. “Please don’t stop. . .”
“You’re squeezing me so deliciously tight, baby,” Kirishima grunts as a droplet of sweat drops from his brow. “Milking my cock for everything it’s worth. What a greedy little cunny you have.”
“Eijiro. . . I wanna cum so bad,” I whimpered through pants. “Please let me cum, baby.”
Kirishima curses under his breath and releases his hand from my throbbing bud. He places both hands onto my neck, thumbs pressing against my jaw. He eases his body forward and keeps his sickening pace. “You’re gonna be the death of me, I swear.”
I sucked in a breath and wrapped my hands around his forearms. I furrow my brows and pant with my mouth open. “You make me feel so good, Eiji. So fucking good!”
“You’re mine, you hear me?” He drops his hands from my neck and presses his forehead to mine. “You don’t get to fuck anyone else. . . . .You don’t get to be with anyone else. . . .My name will be the only name you moan for the rest of your life, do you understand?”
I nod. “I understand.”
“You’re mine and no one else's.”
He pulls me into a searing hot kiss. Drinking in all the love and energy throughout my body. I hook my arms around his neck and moan against his lips. Suddenly, I felt an intense rush of adrenaline pass through my body and everything seemed to go silent. A low ringing noise sounded in my ear as my mouth fell open. I dug my arms into his back and clung to his body. Every fiber of my being tensed and my mind went completely blank for several seconds. Then, slowly, my body released itself and collapsed onto the bed. I opened my eyes lazily to see Kirishima’s eyes tightly closed and his hips slightly shaking. Once he finished his ride, his body relaxed and he lowered my leg from his shoulder. He pulled me into an embrace and pressed another kiss onto my lips.
I pulled away from the kiss and looked into his crimson eyes. “Were you serious about calling me yours?”
“Ugh. . . yes?” He replied hesitantly. Then, he added “If that’s okay with you! I don’t wanna force you—”
“I wouldn’t have it any other way,” I cut him off with a smirk.
“Oh, I was worried for a second.”
“The only thing you should be worried about is your Advanced American History grade.”
“Oh, right. . .”
“You miss another one of my sessions, I’ll ignore you again.”
“Please don’t! I will be present at every session.”
“Good. And you have to be Starbucks.”
“The drink that tastes like the moon?”
“Matcha latte with 2 pumps of chai. Yup.”
“And two chocolate cake pops.”
“Mhm. You know me so well.”

Jasonette July Day 4: Game On
Written by: The Maribat Pit @jasonette-july-event Prompt: Game On Rated: T (for sexual references, mostly references to things that happened in the comics. You have been warned.) “I can’t just go spilling my protégé’s secrets. I can barely send her out into the mean streets on her own.” she said with a coy show of innocence that she wasn’t even trying to make believable.
“I’m not asking for her identity, all that concerns me is why you decided to take her in.” Batman explained.
“She was in trouble, I was in the neighbourhood and I gave her a helping hand,” she explained. “That special claw of hers comes in handy, and besides we all know how you feel about magic users Bruce.” She wasn’t wrong about that. Batman could never trust Constantine further than he could throw him. He could only bring himself to turn to Zatanna when he really needed her help. Shazam was an exception, seeing as the limits of his magic were clear and simple enough to understand. That didn’t make him any less formidable, but it didn’t make him quite as unpredictable. He was, at the end of the day, a detective who was trained to think rationally and logically in order to get to the bottom of a situation. Magic was the ultimate wild card, and the sooner he figured out this girl’s abilities, the better. “You’ll be pleased to know she’s not a completely hopeless case, she’s been helpful but she doesn’t get quite the same thrill out of thievery.” Catwoman remarked, “but it’s been lovely having her around, and I’m not about to just hand her over to you”.
“Then what would you have me do?” he asked, “I’m concerned your rivals might be a little less forgiving.”
“Is that so? You don’t think she’s strong enough to save herself?” Catwoman smiled, it was nice to know that he cared, just a little. “Besides, she’s already had years of experience under her belt, maybe you’re just jealous you didn’t find her first.” She taunted playfully. Goodness knows he was in no position to talk when it came to taking people under his wing. “Tell you what, how about we have a friendly little wager?” Bruce saw her eyes light up at the thought, but he was undeniably curious about what she had in mind.
“What do you propose?” he asked.
“A fun little game, your boys against my little foundling. If any of them can take her down, then you can welcome her into your family with open arms” she explained.
“How do I know she won’t just kill them?” Batman asked, it wouldn’t be the first time Bruce had to try and steer someone away from any homicidal tendencies.
“She’s a lot of things, but let’s just say killing wasn’t really an option for her back in the day.” she explained, “She’ll fall in line with your ‘no killing’ rule quite nicely. Think about it, your sons versus my little girl.” Her claws skated across Batman’s shoulders as he pondered this.
“Anything else?” Batman asked, he had to know exactly what they were walking into.
“Your boys can bring a second to their little duels, but only one. No need to have the Titans ganging up on her.” she explained. She left out the part about her protégé having other tricks up her sleeve. With the power she had, they would be lucky to get a single scratch on her.
“So be it then.” Bruce said, it would be an opportunity to see how this girl measured up against the boys he had trained. At that moment Catwoman decided it was game on.
Marinette had just come home from her classes at Gotham University, and she was looking forward to a quiet night working on some designs that were due a few weeks. A text message from Catwoman brought her plans to a grinding halt:
“Mari dear, made a little wager with Batman. You beat his four sons in a fight, and you get to stay with me. If you lose however, he gets to take you under his wing (in every sense of the word). They’ll be on the lookout for Lady Noire in the next few days, but I never said anything about only using her to win.”
Marinette was really starting to regret being saved by Catwoman. That night, she was outnumbered by some muggers who thought she would be an easy target. She was trying to find an opening, to make a break for it, maybe find somewhere to hide and transform if she really must. Suddenly she heard a voice grab their attention, “I’ve always loved big strong men who aren’t afraid to show it with someone half their size.” she purred. While they were distracted, Marinette decided to call on Plagg for some help. She always loved how the Lady Noire suit made her movements feel lighter, plus the night vision and Cataclysm were useful too. Unfortunately for her, it meant that Catwoman saw her in action and decided to take an interest in her from that day forth. Sure, she was a cunning thief and there was little that Marinette could do to stop her. At the same time, Marinette was a young woman in a city that was the polar opposite of what she knew in Paris. She couldn’t deny that there was something comforting about having someone in this city looking out for her. Especially since her parents were in Paris, and Master Fu was no longer around to help her. She took the Miraculous with her to Gotham City, but none of the other wielders came with her. She was still their guardian after all, but she had to be more careful about using them. She wasn’t about to single handedly take on superpowered crime lords with their armies of henchmen. She had to be a lot more careful with her powers since other people could get hurt. Besides, they already had a small group of vigilantes keeping the city safe, they didn’t need her.
Marinette reread the text message over and over again. she was about to see what these vigilantes were made of, though it was just as accurate to say it was the other way around. She opened the box, carefully choosing which ones she could use in a fight. She usually used Lady Noire when she was with Catwoman, but by the sound of it she was counting on her to use all of her tricks to win.
Damian never fully understood his father’s attachment to Catwoman, but this was a challenge he could not refuse. They were told to keep an eye out for this “Lady Noire” character while they were out on patrol. Oracle had agreed to referee this ordeal, Damian was absolutely certain he was going to be the one to bring her in. They were allowed to bring a second, but Damian didn’t think it would be necessary. From what they were told she was a smaller Catwoman, though they were told to exercise caution because of her destructive abilities. The last person Damian had expected to find was a girl in a red and black body suit, who looked nothing like the girl with long hair and green eyes that Batman had described. Still, there was something odd about the girl and Damian moved in closer to investigate.
Catwoman had given Marinette a vague rundown of who her opponents were. There was Nightwing, the eldest of the four boys and a trained acrobat. The second eldest was the infamous Red Hood, Marinette had heard rumours about him and she had no way of knowing if the Kwamis could guard her against someone who uses firearms. The third was Red Robin, Catwoman advised using clever strategy if she was going to get the upper hand on this one. Finally, there was the current Robin, the son of Batman and Talia Al Ghul, the youngest of the boys who was trained by assassins before Batman took him in.
She took the Ladybug earrings with her, seeing as they were more versatile for the occasion. In addition to the earrings, she wore the Longg’s choker around her neck. Master Fu had often cautioned against using fusions, considering how draining they were on her body. Her new mentor advised her to use every tool she could in her arsenal, because they certainly would. On most nights she noticed a small, hooded figure passing through her neighbourhood from time to time. She decided to see which of these boys would be her first opponent.
While she was standing on that rooftop, she heard a few footsteps behind her. It was raining but through the mist and the rain she could see a small, shadowy figure watching her closely. It made sense, she was dressed in bright colours and standing on a rooftop in the pouring rain. She practically had a sign on her head that said “come and get me”, which in some way was part of her plan. The question was, whether or not her first opponent would take the bait. “I know you’re there little one, so are you going to stay there or come over and say hello?” she asked, Marinette tried to sound cheerful but she ended up sounding silly instead. She tried to hide the burning embarrassment she felt at how silly that sounded. The boy could probably sense it too, because she turned around and saw him narrowing his eyes at her suspiciously.
He leapt from his perch and landed behind her with a thud and splatter of rain water. He was no taller than Marinette and he wore a red and green outfit, with a black hooded cape and a green domino mask. The red and green outfit had a golden yellow “R” on his chest, and she also noticed a sword that was sheathed at his side. Marinette had to suspect this boy was the youngest out of the boys, Robin. The two of them stood in silence for a long moment, she figured that someone who was formerly trained by assassins would be a little more hostile. Then again, he was probably expecting someone else entirely. “Aren’t you a little young to be out patrolling by yourself, little one?” she asked, trying to make some kind of conversation with the boy. She wasn’t in any position to say anything about this, considering she had been protecting Paris since she was 13.
“What’s it to you?” He scoffed, “we’re looking for someone named Lady Noire, and you clearly wanted to attract someone’s attention by standing on a rooftop in that costume”.
“Robin, can you not be a brat for like, five minutes?” Red Robin groaned into his comm, but Damian didn’t listen.
“You can either state your business or stop wasting my time” he snapped, as Marinette chuckled.
“So, you’re planning on challenging Lady Noire. Tell me, what do you really know about her?” she asked him.
“Only that father and that woman have taken an interest in her, and I intend to prove to both of them that she is nothing special.” he growled, “so unless you know something about her, stay out of my way”.
“You seem certain, for someone who has never once faced her” she said with a smile.
“I was trained by the best, I will not lose to someone who is little more than a foundling.” he was reaching for his sword at that moment. Red Robin and Nightwing rolled their eyes at that comment as they listened in. They knew they had all bested their youngest brother at some point or other, despite being “foundlings”.
“It would have been easy too just to hide from you and your brothers, but I’m going to enjoy taking you down a peg.” She braced herself for her first fight of the challenge. She really could have, but sadly she had very little patience for people who thought they were better than everyone else.
“I won’t lose to you Lady Noire, or whoever you are”, he growled as he drew his sword and pointed it at her.
“Tikki, Longg, unify!” she called out, and a flash of red and gold light stunned Robin for a moment. The red and black bodysuit now had gold accents and a symbol on her chest. The symbol was a lighting bolt, a wave and a gust of wind all swirling together.
“What did you do?!” Red Robin yelled into his comm, “I swear if she kills us all just because you couldn’t control yourself…”
Robin looked up to see that she had a yo-yo in one hand and the other reached behind her to draw a sword.
“And by the way, it’s Dragon Bug to you”, she swung her yo-yo with one hand and Robin ducked to dodge it. After dodging it, he charged at Dragon Bug, katana in hand. She blocked his attack with her sword before kicking him back with her foot. Dragon Bug pulled back her yo-yo and charged at him with her sword, when he blocked her, he spun around and kicked her legs out from under her. As Dragon Bug fell to the floor, she raised her sword and yelled “Water Dragon!”. There was more than enough to create a barrier that pushed Robin back before he could strike again. Robin was knocked back against the wall, and she took out her yo-yo to make an escape to the streets below.
This Lady Noire, Dragon Bug, whoever she was, had insulted his honor. To him, that just simply would not stand. His father said that he wanted her alive, but he could barely get a scratch on her. He got up quickly and used his grappling hook to swing after her. She was waiting for him, with her hair blowing in the wind, and a smile that Damian wanted to wipe off her face. He charged at her once more, this time sliding on the floor at the last moment and hoping to take a swipe at her leg. Once again, she managed to turn and block his katana. The pair of them traded blow after blow after blow, but he could only land a few scratches on her. Marinette could use Lightning Dragon and shock the boy, to bring this to a swift end. However, with all the water that was around them, she might end up killing the boy instead. Before she could try anything else with that sword, he blocked it and sent it flying off to the side. Marinette watched as her sword flew out of her hands before clattering on the ground next to them.
Marinette had to admit that this kid was good and that the fusion was starting to drain her a little. She had to act fast as she dodged another incoming strike. She leapt backwards to dodge it but the boy took out a grappling hook, he gave it a few good spins before flinging it forward and catching her foot. He pulled the wire taut and sent her crashing to the ground, hard. “You may have your tricks, Dragon Bug, but I have skill, I have training, and now I have defeated you.” he called out as he tugged at the wire, pulling her towards him.
“That may be true, but there’s something you should know…” she groaned as she propped herself up on her elbows, he stopped for a moment as he waited for her to tell him exactly what that was. Marinette reached for her yo-yo, she needed to finish this and safe her strength, “…you’re not the only one who’s had training.” she told him. Dragon Bug quickly spun her yo-yo and swung it at Robin, this time wrapping the wire around him and pulling the string tight. He tried to free himself using his katana, while Dragon Bug unwrapped the wire around her foot. As she stood up she said, “another one of my ‘magic tricks’” as she ran to retrieve her own sword. She sheathed the sword and looked back to find a hog-tied Robin, desperately trying to cut the cord and free himself. She wanted to enjoy this moment for just a little longer, there was always something so satisfying in moments like these. She took a moment to send a quick message to Catwoman:
“Dragon Bug: 1, Robin: 0” before sending her a selfie, with Robin tied up in the background.
She glanced back at Robin who was now just scowling at her. “You fought valiantly little one, but sadly you are not my only opponent” she told him as she unwound the string around him. When she had her yo-yo back, she flung it towards a street lamp and swung forward, lifting her up off the ground. There was one thing Damian was certain of, there was no way his brothers were going to let him live this down. With a good tug of her yo-yo, freed Damian, spinning him around in the process.
Meanwhile, Jason and Roy were on a road trip back to Gotham, the two of them had just taken care of a Drug Lord in Starling City. Jason’s phone buzzed with some news from Dick, something about how they had all been embroiled in a bet to take down Selina’s new protégé. If any of them win, she has to join the Bat family, and if they all lose then she keeps working with Selina. He could not bring himself to care, it was 50/50 on whether or not this girl was tolerable or if she was going to annoy him like the rest. Roy glanced over at him before turning his attention back to the road, “you look like you’re desperately searching for a fuck to give” he commented.
“Just some dumb bet Bruce made,” Jason shut off his phone before reclining back in his chair.
“That’s not like Bruce, usually making dumb bets was something you guys did” Roy wracked his brain trying to imagine the stoic and serious Batman making a dumb bet.
“Something about Catwoman and her little sidekick.” he drawled, “If Dick, Me, Replacement or Demon Spawn take her down, she becomes Batman’s little sidekick. Like he doesn’t have enough of those running around”.
“Ah, I’m guessing you don’t want to fight her when we make it back to Gotham City?” Roy asked, “wouldn’t it be hilarious if you taught her how to win against your brothers?”
Jason gave a half-hearted chuckle, moments later his phone buzzed with more messages. He was really looking forward to this little power nap, but he checked to make sure no one desperately needed his help.
He sees the picture that she took with Damian tied up in the background. Babs, Steph and Cass had watched the whole thing, with popcorn. While Tim had made that photo the new wallpaper on the Belfry’s computer.
“Well, says here she literally wiped the floor with Demon Spawn, before swinging away on a yo-yo.” he said and they both laughed “now I’m just mad I won’t get to buy the girl a few drinks”.
“I mean either way, I’m sure you’ll get your chance if you’re both in Gotham City. I’m just sad that I’ll have to be your third wheel.” Roy said wistfully.
“Roy, I had to listen to you and Kory in the next room,” Jason recalled, “you have no room to complain about third wheeling.”
“Awh was little Jaybird jealous?” Roy joked.
“Hey you’re the one who assumed that we banged in the first place,” he said “all I said was I was with her, and you decided to interpret that however you wanted”.
“Well, it doesn’t matter anyway because she ran off to Miami to work through some things, and we’re just over here thinking about the good old days,” Roy said. The two of them continued to drive in silence and Jason leaned back, trying to get some sleep before facing whatever chaos was waiting to greet them in Gotham City.
Tim has researched all he could on this mysterious Lady Noire, yet there are several reported sightings of different vigilantes all with the same height and build. Lady Noire, Ladybug, Dragon bug. Tim compiled all known sightings onto his corkboard to get a clear picture of who this person is.
The fight between Dragon Bug and Damian provided him with crucial information on how he could counter Dragon Bug. Tim then donned his Red Robin costume and began patrol of Gotham City. Gliding across he spotted an usual sight, a costumed person standing on a rooftop. It had to be the one Batman told him about, the person he was to fight because of the bet.
Tim landed on a nearby rooftop to reconfirm the target. "Same height and build, but this costume is different." Tim sighed, he had noticed that each costume had its own power and abilities, and made detailed notes on each. Codename: Polka-dot had the power to summon an unknown household object. Codename: Catwoman II used an indestructible staff and the power of disintegration, Codename: Drake used a sword and came with the power of hydrokinesis.
However, he had no intel regarding this new costume. He decided to press his luck and use stealth to take her down. He leaped off the roof and began gliding towards her with a kick.
To his surprise, his target shrank at the last second, he glided through and smashed into a skylight, landing inside an abandoned building.
Multimouse followed suit and jumped in through the broken skylight. Landing right at the centre of the room, she simply stood there arms akimbo looking at him. Red Robin threw a smoke bomb, grappling to the rafters. Multimouse did not pursue, no sense of panic she simply walked to a wooden crate and sat on it.
Red Robin, took the opportunity to launch himself off and glided towards Multimouse with a kick. He was shocked to see her suddenly turn around as if she knew he was there the entire time, with perfect timing she grabbed and judo flipped Red Robin through the wooden crate. Wiping her hands in a dramatic manner, Multimouse walked to the centre of the room and crossed her arms. Red Robin crushed a smoke bomb with his hand, obscuring the area and diving towards an underground vent.
He began to wonder how she was able to counter him so effectively. "The power of foresight? 360 degrees x-ray vision? No it can't be." Red Robin thought to himself. While crawling in the vents to a position behind Multimouse, he berated himself for pressing his luck without any information on Multimouse. He peeked his head out of the vent, Multimouse had not moved, she continued to stare at Red Robin's previous location. Taking another chance, Red Robin jumped out of the underground vent ready for a takedown.
Again as if she was a clairvoyant she countered him perfectly, spinning on the spot and delivering a crushing kick to Red Robin’s midsection. Sending him flying across the room, he took out his staff and slowly got up, using the staff as if it was a cane. He stood on shaky legs, in disbelief.
He then begins to notice something unusual hanging on the hem of his cape. His eyes widen as he takes a closer look. A miniature clone of Multimouse was hanging on, his eyes snapped up to the rafters and then the vents. There were several miniature clones all over the building, all about the size of a small insect.
Red Robin's jaw dropped as he had this epiphany. Seeing her cue, Multimouse shrank down and spawned a horde of miniature clones. Millions of clones rush towards Red Robin, he begins swinging his staff, stomping on any clones on the ground, flailing his arms like a madman. The horde bellows a collective “Surrender,” Red Robins defiantly continues to fight.
Soon the swarm begins to cover Red Robin all the way up to his neck, his body unable to move. The Multimouse arms pulls off the cowl and begins pulling all of Red Robin’s hair. Red Robin, facing the agony of Multimouse waxing his head. “Ok, ok I give up.” he cried. As he finished his plea, the swarm dissipated and reforms to the singular human sized Multimouse. Red Robin is then left kneeling and staring at the strands of his own hair left on the floor.
Multimouse, seizing the opportunity to obtain a trophy of her efforts, takes a selfie with a poor, disheveled Red Robin in the background.
Marinette was really starting to feel the effects of using different Miraculous for two nights straight. Dragon Bug was draining enough, but she had to use Multimouse to take on Red Robin. That left Nightwing and The Red Hood, and she was starting to wonder what was the point of this game. She felt like she was just fighting to win, fighting so that the person who took care of her when she first arrived in Gotham could prove a point. If she won, then she would stay under Catwoman’s protection, and the Miraculous would be protected with her. Though she was lucky that the Miraculous themselves didn’t look valuable enough to pique her interest. If she lost to one of them, she would be under Batman’s protection instead. She would become a part of the group of vigilantes who operate in the city, and she didn’t know how she felt about that either. How would she feel about seemingly being the only magic user among them? How would he feel about her being a magic user? She hadn’t even met the guy, all she knew was that he took an interest in her dealings with Catwoman. Maybe she would encounter the Red Hood and he would make the choice for her by putting her out of her misery. She decided to settle this fight once and for all as Ladybug, maybe then someone would give her some answers.
She got a text message from Catwoman, telling her to meet her on a rooftop that had gargoyles glaring down at the streets below. Maybe she had information on where her next fight would be, she didn’t say. By the time she got there, she saw two people eating fast food next to the gargoyles. The first was a redhead in red armor, and the second was…
“Get your own brooding spot, this one’s taken!” He yelled. Marinette looked up to see the other guy had a red domino mask, and in addition to being dressed in Kevlar and leather, had a red bat symbol on his chest.
Marinette spun her yo-yo, getting ready for a fight. The redhead continued eating, while his dark-haired companion gave her a swift once over.
“So, you’re the girl who took down Robin and Red Robin?” he asked, as if struggling to believe it.
“And you are?” she asked, when he put on the red helmet that was in his hand, it suddenly became clear.
“So, looking for me?” he asked, “Or are you on your way to fight the original boy wonder?”
“Honestly, I’ll take my chances with you.” Marinette said as she launched her yo-yo at his companion and wrapped the cord around him.
“Wait, wait, wait why me?” the redhead cried, then she threw him and sent him crashing into the Red Hood. The pair of them slammed into a nearby wall before she released the redhead. She unwound the cord and was getting ready to strike again.
Underneath the sprawled out pile of bodies, Red Hood grunted “Arsenal, get your ass off of my face or else…” Arsenal got up before he could finish his threat and they both stood up.
“So who checked ‘Fights with Toys’ off their bingo card?” Arsenal joked.
“Is that the best you can do?” Red Hood taunted. He came at her with a knife in hand, when she leapt in the air and wrapped her yo-yo cord around his arm. She launched herself at him, landing an aerial kick on his helmet. Red Hood grabbed her by the foot and flipped her over, sending her crashing to the ground.
“If you came here to fight me that’s one thing, not many people get to say they took on someone with a yo-yo and lived, unless you’re Toyman.” he said, as he lifted her up off the ground. “If you think this is what it takes to face Nightwing, then you have no idea who you’re dealing with.”
Ladybug took a few steps back after he helped her get to her feet, “so are you going to fight me instead?”
“Pixie, take it from me, it’s really not all it’s cracked up to be. As fun as it’s been watching you kick my brother’s asses, they are nothing compared to Nightwing.” he explained as he took off his helmet and set it down next to him.
“What do you know about Nightwing?” she asked, still understandably guarded about the situation.
“Oh what don’t I know, he’s basically Batman’s heir.” he told her “I’m just one of the spares, and that’s on a good day when I managed to not die.”
Dick had made it clear days ago that he wasn’t going to fight her, he already put his foot down at how silly this whole thing was. Jason, however, decided to have a little fun. “Honestly, you might as well just walk right into the batcave and challenge Batman yourself.” he told her, “I mean you won’t die, that’s kinda his whole deal, but you’ll be eating through a straw for the rest of your life.”
Jason, enjoying the anxiety bubble in the young woman, and he decided to crank it up to eleven.
“Nightwing is equal if not better than Batman in every way, he once took up the mantle of Batman when he was injured. Not only that, he broke Bane’s back. He lifted a 7ft tall 500lb big guy, snapped his spine over his knee as if it was nothing.” Jason moves his arms, mimicking the motion of breaking something over his knee. Ladybug began to sweat even more, struggling to imagine the powerhouse of a man to even accomplish such a feat.
Jason’s grin widens, “not only that, he fought a giant mutated bat the size of a man. He wrestled Man-Bat, putting him in a full nelson and smashing its face into solid concrete” Ladybug cringes at the thought of feeling the full force of having your face slammed into concrete. Jason gets ready for the coup de grace. “In fact, when he was 10 years old, he watched his parents get murdered by mobster Tony Zucco in front of his own eyes. After being taken under Batman’s wing, he went out for revenge. He chased after Tony for hours and cornered him in Crime Alley.
Tony died that night when Nightwent went after him, the official cause was a heart attack.”
Jason stops talking to look around him, as if he was paranoid and there were eyes all around him. He walks up to Ladybug and whispers to her ear “but between you and me, it wasn’t.”
He turns to Roy, “but if she’s gonna try and take him on after all that, then we might as well pull up some chairs and watch.” he said, giving Roy a knowing look.
“Oh yeah, I mean he’s no match for a cute girl and her yo-yo.” Roy joked.
“Come on, he’s probably waiting on top of the Iceberg Lounge, and he doesn’t like to be kept waiting” he declared, Ladybug followed as the three of them made their way to the Iceberg Lounge. She felt her legs shaking, but it’s fine, she would at least live to tell the tale...right?
Nightwing stood on the roof of the Iceberg Lounge, carefully watching the whereabouts of the people going in and out of the area. He heard footsteps and looked up to see three figures landing on the rooftop in front of him. He looked up to see Red Hood, Arsenal and a short girl who looked to be in her late teens, maybe early 20s. He looked between them, then back at the girl who was spinning a red yo-yo with black polka dots.
Nightwing waved to them, figuring she would be the short girl mentioned in the bet between Batman and Catwoman. As he noticed the three, the short girl visibly frightened as he walked towards them.
Nightwing sighed “what did you tell her?” he asked, he had better things to than get involved in Batman’s dumb little bet. The outcome would have been someone joining the Bat family by force, even he had put his foot down by that point.
“I mean, nothing that wasn’t true.” Red Hood told him, “she might as well know who she’s dealing with.”
“Right, and you probably told her you are just a soft teddy bear compared to me.” Nightwing remarked sarcastically, “was it to keep her from beating the stuffing out of you?”. At that point Ladybug was visibly confused, so Nightwing looked over at her “so how did you get dragged into this? Got sick of having to share a litter box?”
Ladybug eyes Nightwing cautiously, thinking his joking mannerisms are an elaborate ruse to lower her guard. “What, don’t tell my Catwoman’s got your tongue?” Nightwing jokes with a large grin. Ladybug begins to slowly walk back, confused at how expectations did not match reality.
Nightwing points his thumb at Ladybug and talks to Red Hood, “Alright what did you tell her about me?” Red Hood raises his arms innocently “Like I said, nothing that wasn’t true.”
Nightwing raises his eyebrow at Red Hood and crosses his arms. “Alright I told her how you took down Bane and Man-Bat by yourself” Red Hood admits. “And?” Nightwing begins tapping his foot. “I may have, insinuated that you may or may not have had something to do with Tony Zucco's heart attack”
Nightwing facepalms, “well so much for first impressions, let's start over shall we?”
Nightwing reaches his hand out to Ladybug, “Name’s Richard but everyone calls me Dick”
Marinette tentatively reaches out to shake his hand, “I know you aren’t enthusiastic about this bet, neither am I. I don’t want to knock your spots off, so how about I lie on the ground, you take a picture for Catwoman and you fly off into the sunset”
“Where would I go?” she asked,
“She could come with us.” Red Hood suggested, “nothing would annoy Batman more.”
“Right, and next she’ll start asking me if I actually hypnotize people with my ass.” Nightwing said as he raised an eyebrow at him. “Think Catwoman would let you take her?”
“We already asked, someone has to look after this pipsqueak while she’s doing what she does best, alone”, Red Hood explained.
Ladybug felt herself calming down a lot more at that moment. She came to this city not really knowing anyone, feeling like there was no one else looking out for her. Now, for the first time in a long time, she felt like she was going to be in good hands.
Bonus 1:
Roy: So, should we call ourselves “Red Arse Bug” or “Lady Red Arse”?
Jason: Do you want me to throw you off this roof?
Bonus 2:
Ladybug: So you all had to wear red, yellow and green?
Red Hood: Yup.
Ladybug: What was it like?
Red Hood: I did my time in the pixie boots, Pixie. Doesn’t mean I like to talk about it.

Sorority Past - Fic Bits
So, I had started this fic, come back to it, reread it and hated it, took another pass at it, and still hated it. Here's a little bit of what might have been. I had it up in another post, but it annoyed me, so this time there's more under the cut.
Maybe I'll try this concept again, but for now I'm washing my hands of it and forgetting it entirely.
NOTE: I wrote this after 1x10 and it was a funny take on if someone from Kate's past showed up. Had no idea what was waiting for us in 1x11. Kate has the same reaction: frozen panic, but there's no break up.
Sorority Past
Lucy’s spending the day out with Kate. No real destination, just wandering and seeing the scenic sights. It’s giving them a chance to be together away from work, not in one of their apartments, and talk.
At the moment they’re enjoying hotdogs. Kate likes hers with everything but jalapeño peppers on it. Piled high with ketchup and mustard and about five other things, Lucy doubts she’d be able to tell if something else was added. Lucy accepts her hotdog from the vendor and notices Kate’s look at hers. With just ketchup, mustard, and relish, it’s very plain compared to Kate’s. Grinning, she teases the blonde a little.
“So, with cabbage, onions, and relish, cheese, and chili, how would you be able to tell if there were jalapeños on there? Also, why cabbage? What business does that have being on a hotdog at all?” Having taken an impressive first bite, it takes Kate a minute before she can answer. Grabbing their drinks and napkins, they slowly make their way over to a table. Lucy’s smiling, but also very aware of how bad she has it for the other woman. They’re sitting outside at a table and with the gentle breeze and sunlight hitting her just right, Kate Whistler looks amazing even while eating an enormous hotdog piled higher than Lucy’s ever seen.
“This is sauerkraut. Calling it just cabbage makes it sound awful. Cabbage is only really good as coleslaw and that’s a side. This is different and a common hotdog topping.” Lucy feels her smile get even bigger as Kate explains it so logically. Like calling it something else changes the fact that it’s still cabbage. The argument could be made that it’s worse since it’s got a sour taste after being fermented. That seems like a lot of effort for a topping. She’s just about to say as much when there’s another voice.
“Kate Whistler? I thought I recognized that voice! You’re the only person I know that orders hotdogs that way.” They turn to see another woman over by the vendor’s truck. Tall, with light brown hair, and slender build, Lucy supposes she could be considered attractive. Her opinion on other women is skewed since she only has eyes for Kate. “Let me get my food and I’ll come and join you!” says the woman before darting back.
Looking over at Kate, Lucy notices she looks pale all of a sudden and well past just flustered. Kate looks over at her and she hears Kate mutter “You can’t help me here…” It’s said mostly to herself, but Lucy wants to at least try to help if she can. Based on Kate’s reaction, she’s guessing an ex?
“Let me try? Who is she?” Kate double checks that the woman is still busy before she shakes her head and shrugs. Lucy feels her eyebrows raise.
“You don’t know her name?” That’s not great. Especially if she’s an ex-girlfriend.
“No, you don’t… I don’t know her name, her face, her voice, anything! I have no idea who that is!” Lucy feels herself calm down a little. There had been a part of her that, even though Kate said she was, had been worried that maybe Kate wasn’t ready for the whole public thing yet. That maybe she’d gotten her hopes too soon. Wait a minute….
“So not at all? Is it possible she’s mistaken?” Kate shakes her head.
“Not and know my name and how I like my hotdogs…” Okay, she’s right. Lucy’s trying to come up with something when the woman starts to comes over.
“You’ve got chili on your chin” is all she manages before the woman sits down.
“God it’s been so long! What have you been up to since Northwestern?”
Okay, someone Kate knew in college, but judging by Kate’s face, that hadn’t helped much. The smile on Kate’s face is the one she uses when she’s greeting higher ups when they visit. People she has to make time for on an already very busy day. Lucy pushes the fact that she knows Kate well enough to know when she’s wearing a mask to the back of her mind for now, even though it has her biting back a smile.
Kate buys time by holding up a finger and taking a long drink.
“Sorry, sorry, I’m Carolyn. Kate and I were sorority sisters back in college.” Lucy notices Kate visibly relax a little next her as she introduces herself. There’s still that little voice in her head and that says, sure it was years ago, but it doesn’t mean she isn’t an ex.
“You look amazing as always” says Carolyn as her eyes take in Kate. “So, what are you doing in Hawaii? Conference of some kind?” Thankfully, Kate’s able to handle it from there. Sort of.
“I live and work here actually.”
“The sorority email that Misty sends out says you work for the government? What do you do?” Kate seems to be thrown by the mention of an email, but recovers fast.
“I’m a government auditor. Not very exciting, but I get to live here, so…” says Kate as she motions to their surroundings. Hawaii is beautiful no matter where you are on the island. Lucy has to agree, you really can’t beat their surroundings.
“What does a government auditor do exactly?” asks Carolyn. It should be noted on Lucy’s undercover skills, that she kept her face impassive. Well, you can’t really give anything away when you’re actively shoving a hotdog in your mouth, but fuck if she knows what any kind of auditor does. Kate, however, is prepared. When Lucy thinks about it, she’s not sure if Kate can actually tell anybody what she does. It’d probably put her in danger and might be a security risk. Especially if it finds it’s way into the sorority newsletter.
“Maintain and examine the records of government agencies” answers Kate easily. Carolyn looks absolutely baffled and Lucy tries to pretend that cleared things up.
“Kate and I started at Northwestern together. She went a little nuts when it came to picking courses. Most of us just wanted to get our general requirements out of the way. Kate picked courses with actual work in them. We all tried to explain that you want to ease in, but no, she picked foreign languages and history courses, I think there was one on classic mythology too. You became an auditor because you found out you can’t do anything with a philosophy degree, didn’t you? Same with art history?”
Around another mouthful of hotdog, Kate gives Carolyn a wry smile. Lucy blinks. She’s been steadily finding out more about Kate, but hadn’t ever really thought about a young Kate Whistler just starting out in college. Lucy turns and gives Kate a closer look. She wants to know more about that side of her too. Kate notices and raises an eyebrow, but Lucy just shakes her head and smiles.
“Okay…” Starts Kate. It’s in a sort of serious tone, which might have been effective if not for the smear of ketchup and mustard above her lip. Lucy reaches over and swipes at with her thumb and licks it off without a second thought. If she’d looked over at Kate, she would have seen her turn an impressive shade of red, she also might have noticed Carolyn’s amused smile, but there’s something Lucy wants to know.
“This is all good to know, but what did Kate suck at?”
“Hey!” cries out Kate with a nudge from her elbow, but Lucy waves it away.
“You know about me and karaoke, I want to know what subject you failed at.”
“I didn’t—” argues Kate, only to be cut off by Carolyn.
“Geology.” Lucy had been hoping, but doubted there’d be anything. Her eyes widen in excitement and she feels her smile grow even wider. Kate seemed like the person who wouldn’t let herself fail a subject if only out of spite. That fact that there actually is something she failed is amazing and it still rubs Kate the wrong way, judging by how she closes her eyes, bows her head, and groans miserably.
“Look, rocks are rocks. They’re rocks! I don’t care how many different types they are. The whole metamorphic rock thing is beyond me.”
“So, was a decent grade” adds Carolyn and Lucy has trouble containing her laughter, especially when Kate scowls at that comment. Wiping her hands, Kate crumples up her napkin and tosses it at her sorority sister before getting up and mumbling about needing another hotdog to deal with all this.

Outside, it was a still and quiet morning. Despite the sun having risen hours ago, the sky remained a murky gray. Dew clung to the grass and a light fog remained settled over the landscape. It looked cold and like the kind of day that would usually have Aelin curled up in the study, a roaring fire warming the room while she sat in one of the oversized leather chairs and reread a favorite book. Rowan knew that once outside, the cool air would be a sharp bite at his skin. It’s how Terrasen always was in early November.
Instead of reading, though, Aelin was staring at her side of the closet. Her fingers nervously tapped above her elbow while she surveyed dresses and pantsuits, jackets and turtlenecks. More than once she had murmured that she never knew what to wear, and more than once he had told her that it really didn’t matter and she would look beautiful all the same.
A level below, Rowan heard the front door open and close, followed by their oldest son, Arden shouting up the stairs that they were home. They referred to him and his boyfriend, Jamie, and Aelin and Rowan’s oldest, Evalin. The three had driven from the University of Orynth on the other side of the city to the family’s house on the outskirts of town.
Genevieve, Declan, and Endymion, the younger half of the Whitethorn kids, were all getting ready. Genny had been up with the sun to make breakfast for everyone, her hands sticky with cream cheese frosting and cinnamon by the time she had finished. Declan and Endy were down the hall, fighting for counter space in their shared bathroom while Genevieve finished up at the vanity Rowan had built her last year in her bedroom.
More noise followed the voices downstairs turned to a quiet murmur as Rowan approached his wife and rested his hand on her lower back. Aelin leaned back on her heels and into his touch, turning her head slightly. Rowan pressed a kiss to her temple and she shivered, reaching out for the dress that he knew she’d end up picking. It was his favorite.
“Perfect choice, fireheart,” he murmured, rubbing his hand across her middle back as she sighed and pulled it off the hanger that she dropped to the floor. Rowan chuckled to himself, nudging it toward her pile of shoes as he followed her back out into their bedroom.
Rowan was already showered and dressed. He wore a simple black suit with Aelin’s favorite dark green tie— one that she claimed brought out his eyes, though Rowan hadn’t noticed a single difference as he tied it around his neck.
“You are worrying about nothing,” he murmured into her hair, tucking a loose strand behind her ear. Aelin shuddered a sigh, licking her lips as she turned to look at Rowan over her shoulder. Their eyes met for a single heartbeat before moving to the door.
“I hope Arden and Evie remembered to pick everything up this morning.”
“I’ll go check,” he promised, squeezing her shoulder before walking away. Rowan paused in the doorway, turning to look at his anxious wife. She stood in front of the window, dress draped over one arm while she twisted her wedding band around her finger. It made his heart squeeze in the most painful way, but he left her and jogged down the stairs to where the rest of his family mingled in the kitchen.
Entirely typical of his children, none of them looked up when he entered. Gen was dressed in leggings and an oversized sweater, manning the stove to make everyone else eggs. Endy and Declan were arguing over who got the cinnamon roll in the center of the pan: it was the most gooey and beheld more icing than the others. Declan won out in the end, but only because Genevieve pointed a spatula at Endymion to remind him of a petty crime he’d committed against her the day before.
“You don’t deserve that cinnamon roll. You know what you did.” Endy snorted, but relented, allowing Declan to eagerly swoop in for the golden treat. A large dollop of icing slipped off the side, barely making it onto his plate as he did. Endymion sighed wistfully, likely dreaming of how good that would have been in his stomach instead of his brothers. Rowan laughed to himself, ruffling Endy’s hair as he walked by. His youngest shrugged him off with a shiver, lips pulling down into a frown while he looked over at his father, then to his older sister as she walked into the room.
“Has mom been down yet?”
“She’s still upstairs,” Rowan said, while the other kids mumbled that she’d yet to come down. Arden and Jamie slid into the empty barstools at the counter, accepting plates of bacon and eggs from Genevieve. “Can someone go check on her?”
“I’ll go,” Evie decided, heading up toward Rowan and Aelin’s bedroom, stairs creaking with every step.
Genevieve was watching Evalin up until she disappeared at the top of the landing, her lips twisting to the side as she shifted to turn the stove off. The kitchen settled into a comfortable silence, the scraping of forks the only disruption. Genny poked at the cinnamon roll she’d chosen for herself before pushing it away, toward Endy.
“I can’t eat,” she said quietly, tapping her phone screen, the time blinking up at her before it went dark again. It seemed that Endy could eat, however, because he pulled her plate over and dove into her cinnamon roll immediately after finishing his. It was almost enough to make her smile but she seemed to be fighting it off. Rowan moved to wrap his arm around his daughter, but she shrugged out of his embrace and disappeared up the stairs. If he had to guess, she was joining Aelin and Evalin.
“I’m worried about her,” Rowan and Arden said at the same time, the former cracking a half smile.
“Me too,” Endymion agreed, fingernail tapping against the counter while he looked over his shoulder. Rowan opened his mouth to speak, but the soft closing of a door followed by the squeak of the top stair silenced him. A moment later, his three girls were filing into the kitchen. Aelin hugged each of her babies, pressing kisses to their cheeks that they didn’t shy away from.
“We ready?” Arden asked, picking up the bag he’d brought in with him. Aelin nodded and rubbed her hand over Genny’s upper back.
Genevieve had always been the most anxious of their kids in the worst way. Over the last year, her panic attacks had only gotten worse and nobody really knew how to help her. A few months ago, she had finally caved and agreed to start taking medicine for it when she needed to. Judging by the way she stood, worrying her lip and twining the ends of her silver hair into tiny braids, Rowan wondered if she was already debating taking one of those pills to keep the monsters of the day at bay.
The ride was quiet. The only conversation consisted of Aelin and Rowan asking Evalin, Jamie, and Arden about their college courses. The youngest three Whitethorns stayed quiet and listened while looking out the windows and tapping on their phones. No music filled the empty silences— the last five minutes was nothing but garbled road noise and turn signals, the occasional sniffle of a nose, or a small sigh.
When the car was put in park, nobody moved immediately. Aelin stared through the windshield, fingers drumming on the gear shift. Rowan lay his on top of hers, but she didn’t look over at him. Instead, she tucked her bottom lip between her teeth and, after several heartbeats, nodded. Only then did the kids file out of the back seats, Genevieve going to take her mother’s left hand while Arden took her right. Rowan walked beside Endymion and attempted to steady his son when he stumbled over a rock that was hidden in the grass.
They walked through the cemetery, moving by headstone after headstone. Some of them were large and ornate weeping angels, others were crosses jutting out of the ground. A fair few were simple concrete rectangles in the ground with a vase for flowers. The one they came to stop at was something in between.
It was about two feet high in the middle of the graveyard, simple text embedded into the shiny quartzite stone. A large hawk had been carved into its surface, wings spread wide mid-flight, beak parted as though it were releasing a fierce battle-cry. There was no vase for flowers anywhere near it. Instead, piles of stones were left all around it. They were in all shapes, sizes, and colors. One had a painted hawk on the surface that he knew Genevieve’s boyfriend had left behind at the funeral last year.
Arden placed the bag he carried on the ground and they let Aelin be the first to pick her stone. She picked a large smooth one, a paler gray than the headstone itself that fit perfectly in her palm. She folded her legs beneath her body as she knelt before it, trembling fingers tracing over the name.
ROWAN M. WHITETHORN
JULY 16, 1970 - NOVEMBER 11, 2020
HUSBAND. FATHER. HERO.
TO WHATEVER END.
A breeze shifted through the air, moving Aelin’s hair across her face and she could have sworn it was warm. She could have sworn she smelled the familiar pine and snow scent that she would always and forever associate with her husband. Aelin could have sworn it felt like a lover’s caress, like fingers brushing away the tear that slipped down her cheek.
Aelin wasn’t sure how long she sat there, surrounded by their children. Each of them swapped their favorite stories about their late father, about what they missed most. All of them cried enough tears that Terrasen could hit a rare drought but the patch of grass they held each other in would still be green as ever.
When they finally stood, the air had dropped a few more degrees because the sun had never come out to keep them warm. It made that fleeting warm breeze even more bizarre, the one that smelled like him, considering the one that rustled the leaves on the nearby tree was cold enough to bite.
Out of the corner of her eye, she swore she saw him. She swore she saw a head of silver hair sock his head in her direction, but she blinked and he was gone, her oldest son stepping up in the place she thought she saw him, felt him, smelled him. Silver hair faded into a golden blonde that matched her own, but the eyes that peered down at her were as bright green as his father’s. Aelin felt her face crumple as she leaned into him, resting her temple against his shoulder. She inhaled hard, desperate for that pine scent to feel her lungs, desperate to erase the last year of her life without him. Desperate to pretend that he was still alive and it was his shoulder that she put her weight on.
But it wasn’t. And it wouldn’t be.
Still, as she looped her arm through his and started to walk back toward the car with their kids, she spared a last glance over her shoulder, projecting their vows into the void of the world: to whatever end.
She wasn’t sure what it was, but Aelin was almost positive she heard his voice whisper it back as another strange, warm breeze wrapped around her and left her completely breathless.

As the weeks went by Bucky slipped further and further into his own personal hell.
You’d asked if he could show you how to use some equipment at the gym and help you with the weights. Working out is the easy part but seeing you in your gym gear? That was a different level. Your leggings clung to your every curve and it took every ounce of Bucky’s willpower not to stare at you - he did however notice other men in the gym didn’t have the same consideration so he made a point to stare back until they averted their gaze.
You’d found you enjoyed boxing more than you’d anticipated. Bucky had suggested it after you’d had a difficult day at work and wanted to relieve stress. He never engaged in fighting with you but he did help with your form and footwork.
Rather selfishly though, he saw it as an opportunity to touch you at every chance he got. Whether it was how to grip your hand for a punch, moving your hips to help your footwork or blocking your attacks. He couldn’t get enough.
“Do you want to talk about it?” You asked, trying to tape your hands up.
Walking over to you, Bucky took one of your hands in his and began taping your hand up correctly. It had become a common routine which neither of you were interested in stopping.
You tried your best to not sigh as he gently stroked your palm before taking your other hand, repeating the process.
“What do you mean?” He asked, his eyes not meeting yours.
“We don’t have to, but I know what it meant to you - the shield-”
“He never should’ve given it up.” He replied, interrupting you, holding onto your hand which was now taped up. He gently rubbed his thumb over your palm, almost hypnotized by the tape covering it. “I’m going to go see him, I might be gone for a while.” His eyes finally met yours as he gazed back at you. You couldn’t help but notice the sadness in his eyes. You’d become used to his usual broody resting bitch face, especially during the morning (safe to say Bucky definitely isn’t a morning person) but this broke your heart. You knew he had his demons, despite him being generally quiet on the subject and you also knew Steve’s departure had hit him hard. You were hoping one day he’d open up more to you but you didn’t push it.
“I understand… I’ll miss you though.” You smiled at him although it didn’t quite meet your eyes. Having Bucky in your life filled a void that had been missing for as long as you could remember; he was the only constant you had.
“Yeah?” He smirked back - inside he was gleaming.
“Whether you like it or not Buck, you’re my friend” His smirk faltered at the mention of being your friend “plus I’ve only just started bulking up! All this hard work will go to waste” You flexed your arm, attempting to show off your progress, causing him to chuckle.
“C’mon doll, show me what you’re working with” He let go of your free hand, not realising he’d been holding on all this time and reached for your boxing gloves, throwing them your way as he climbed into the ring.
You spent the rest of the afternoon together, heading to your local coffee shop after finishing up at the gym. Although he’d quickly gotten to grips with modern technology, he was still a bit shaky on booking flights so you helped him make the reservation and booked a hotel room for him.
On your walk back to your apartment building you chatted about what he could expect flying commercial - a first for him and took the time to reassure him he wouldn’t be recognised.
“Can I text you whilst I’m away?” He asked, trying his best to sound as casual as possible.
It was at that moment it dawned on you that you didn’t even have his number, you’d both gotten so used to your routine of popping by each other's apartment whenever you hung out. Although admittedly, you both always found yourself hanging out more at yours since he wasn’t big on owning furniture.
“Of course, here pass me your phone and I’ll put my number in” Bucky tried not to sigh in relief as he reached into his jeans pocket, retrieving his phone. Despite you both growing closer the past few months, he still felt nervous around you, scared of being rejected.
“Oh god you’re one of those” You groaned, staring at his 15 unread notifications. “Can I get rid of them?” You asked as the little red icon taunted you.
“Go for it doll” His metal arm snuck around your waist as you continued to walk through the busy streets of New York, Bucky doing his best to help you dodge the crowds of people ahead as you focused on his phone. Bucky justified his arm around you as purely helping you avoid being barged and walking into people but he knew deep down it was just another opportunity to hold you close. “Spiderling ….. Spiderling. ?You ignored Spider Man?! He’s messaged you a few times, can I read them?” You asked, staring up into his baby blues. He glanced down at you and nodded before focusing back on walking you through the streets of Brooklyn.
There were a few more messages which had gone unread, a couple about picking his brain for a history paper and another about upgrading his arm.
Hi Mr Barnes, it’s Peter Parker, do you have five minutes for a chat?
However, one caught your attention.
Are you ignoring me because I beat you? It’s okay to admit a 16 year old bested you Mr Barnes :D
“Bucky did you get your ass handed to you by a teenager?” You giggled, rereading the message as the man beside you held the lobby door open for you.
“Okay first off he didn’t beat me, I let him win. And secondly -” His nose scrunched up as he tried to think of his second point, failing miserably.
“Wow, James Buchanan Barnes got beaten up by a sixteen year old and yet he has the audacity to criticise my footwork.” You teased, pressing the button for the elevator.
“In my defence, as soon as I knew how young he was I held back. By a lot” Gesturing towards the empty elevator that had arrived, he followed you inside and pressed the button for your floor. “And then he caught me off guard with his sticky web thing and it all went downhill from there.”
You covered your mouth trying your best not to laugh, imagining the man in front of you getting caught in one of Spider Man’s webs, struggling to get free.
“Whatever Buck, you lost to Spider Man.” You finished putting your number in his phone and handed it back, chuckling to yourself. “You should call him sometime though, it sounds like he’s going through it.”
He gestured again for you to leave the elevator first as the doors opened in front of you, swiftly following on your heels. “I’m not his babysitter.” He responded, pulling out his keys.
“And I’m not yours but I still listen to your shit.” You smirked at him, leaning against your door.
He responded with that stupid tongue thing he did, licking his lower lip before smiling back at you. God what you’d love to do with that- You shook yourself out mid thought, knowing where your mind was leading would only end in another night of frustration.
“How long do you think you’ll be gone for?” You asked, the conversation turning more somber.
“Hopefully not too long doll… come here.” He held his arms open and you pushed yourself off your door without hesitation, falling into his waiting arms. Your face was pressed against his hard chest, your arms snaking around his waist as he held you against him, his biceps curling around your shoulders, gripping you tightly. Ever so gently, he placed a kiss in your hair, his lips lingering slightly longer than they should’ve. A few moments later, you both released one another, trying to avoid the cold feeling overcoming you as his warmth left your body.
“I’m expecting a souvenir y’know”
“Of course” He replied back, chuckling as he pondered just how he was going to cope without you.

CHAPTER 1
The first rays of July had cast on the roofs of the houses in Rome, giving the off-white plaster and rosy tiles a golden sheen that tasted like honey. The wisteria were in bloom, as was the medlar tree under Marlena's house; the scent of life in the full act of her cycle, always knocked on her dining room window, filling it with sweet fragrances.
The girl used to take her place at the table during the late morning hours, surrounded by books and tomes quite old and gnawed by the dust, with the good resolution that even that day she would read and study those very boring pages of that equally boring examination. of Egyptology. The university summer session had already begun, she had just taken a couple of exams last June and was now preparing two more that she would take in the first weeks of September.
That time could seem apparently short, Marlena didn't care that much, what could ever distract her from her work? She had no friends, and by now, even though she had crossed the threshold of 21 years in the autumn, the girl was now completely extinct her naive youth, as well as her desire to laze.
The out of tune and unexpected sound of the intercom triggered her head bent over the books of the young woman, who after having heaved a sigh perhaps a little annoyed, she decided to get up from her chair, leave the dining room and cross the wide and not too long corridor in the shape of an "L" of his apartment, finally arriving at a brisk pace towards the device it had croaked in order to answer.
"Yes?" she asked quite firmly but not too cordially.
"I'm the postman, will you open me?" answered a stranger, as she pushed the button to open the gate.
Marlena therefore opened the heavy old door of her house, remaining patient to wait for the man to arrive at the door. Although she had lived in that condominium with her father for as long as she remembered it, she had not yet found a rational explanation for its lack of mailboxes. Was it because it was a palace built in the 1920s? Well that would explain the absence of an elevator as well, but a damn mailbox wouldn't be hard to add.
The man's gasping breath brought her back to reality as her eyes saw him peeking from the flight of stairs. Was he already that tired after not even crossing the second floor? The young woman wondered a little disappointed.
"Are you Madam Levavi?" the postman then asked, catching his breath and rummaging through her purse. Marlena wrinkled her nose instinctively.
"Ahm ... not madam, I'm her daughter" she replied shaking her head, what could that postman ever care if she was "miss" or "madam"? The girl lightly bit the inside of her cheek as a reproach.
"Here you are. How many floors are there still?" She asked the man wiping her sweaty forehead with a handkerchief after giving her the mail.
"Two more ..." Marlena replied disinterestedly as she closed the door, observing her letters.
Bills for electricity, water, the tax to be paid for the next university year and ... a letter?
Well, it certainly wasn't sent by her father...
The girl looked at the text of that letter once more, rereading it and rereading it several times, wrapped in a silence that was probably inherent in memories that clouded her common sense, while slowly after taking a few steps back, she gently placed her back to the wall.
"Dear Marlena,
I know perfectly well that it might have been easier to call you, but you know I've always enjoyed writing you letters.
Unfortunately I noticed that in the last few I sent you you didn't answer, I guess it's because the university keeps you very busy ...
However, I learned that your father is out of Italy on a business trip and he will be away until the end of August; It seemed only right to invite you to spend these last months of summer in our house outside the city.
I know that since your mom left, you haven't had the desire to visit us anymore, but I think it would do you good to change the air for a while. The place is quiet, there is the sea and also a large and extensive countryside with a pine forest and the locals are really friendly and helpful.
You can also bring Lapo if you want, I know you are very close.
Either way, let me know your verdict.
A strong hug.
Grandmother Agata.”
She had distant memories of that house, distant but still happy. He remembered when he woke up early in the morning with grandmother Agata and grandfather Laertes to be able to go to the sea and his little hands while looking for hermit crabs and shells on the shore, as he remembered the music in the square and the laughter echoing in the same way as the bells of the church on Sunday, everyone was happy ... and life seemed to be less unfair to those who deserved it less, it tasted like jam and fruit jellies, salt on the lips and bees flying.
Marlena's chest swelled with air, as if she had been holding her breath until then...perhaps because diving into one's childhood was like floundering in a stormy sea pretending to stay afloat.
The cheerful barking of her dog Lapo brought the young woman back to the present, who decided to place the letters on a window sill not far from the front door and set off together with the playful animal towards the kitchen. Lapo was a nice Bernese Mountain Dog, with a black, brown and white coat. It had been given to her five years ago, perhaps because her father had sensed that even his absence had created in the heart of his only daughter, a sense of distressing loneliness, which had consumed her to the bone making her totally apathetic for certain verses.
But Lapo, Lapo had saved her from her, with Lapo she spoke and shared gestures of affection, such as caresses and little licks between her fingers and hair. Sometimes Marlena fell asleep in her bed, with the bulky dog on her, because feeling her warm and humid breath on her blankets reminded her in her sleep that she was not alone in the dark of the night. As long as Lapo's heart had beaten the young girl she was not afraid of having to wake up or sleep.
Although she tried to convince herself that staying in her comfort zone would be easier than answering "yes" to her grandmother's request, a part of her was again attracting her to that letter; her gaze was captured by the horizon of her mind, while in the distance she could almost hear the sounds and flavors of a place almost too fairytale to be part of the material world.
"I know I should answer..." she murmured as she was intent on washing the peel of a red apple in the kitchen sink. Meanwhile the dog sat up looking at her intensely while she wagged his tail waiting for her.
"...It's just that, that place...and then I should finish studying, I have an exam to take at the end of the summer, Lapo" but the dog tilted his head in disappointment and then got up and trotted out of the room, looking for of who knows what amusement, leaving Marlena to her thoughts, as she bit into the freshly dried fruit with the kitchen towel.
All of this would only be for a little over a month and a half, just a month and a half and then she would leave it all behind her again, as she did a long time ago.
“Hello grandma. I'm Marlena..."
Marlena after putting the letter back next to her bedside table, she grabbed the cell phone not far away and typed some numbers on the screen, not too convincingly, and then brought the object to her ear.
There were those ten seconds of waiting that seemed the stroke of half a century, until a voice said "Hello?".
Marlena had brought two large bags with her. One for clothes and the other full of junk such as: books, objects for the dog, tricks and everything that for her mind, not so familiar with travel, she considered indispensable. She was not so convinced that both of them would enter the trunk, but the exemplary ability to know how to adapt and make do with her grandfather always left her with amazement on the edge of her lips.
It took two days before grandfather Laerte's small and overly backward FIAT Punto made its peerless entrance next to the bottle-green gate of the small cloister of the Marlena palace.
The man had taken more or less ten minutes just to park, the niece had wondered how long it would take him to get there and start again.
The young woman was sitting in the back seats, together with Lapo. She held in her hands a small bunch of tulips that Laertes had brought her, made by herself. He said to her:
"I went for a walk in the countryside and tried to capture the most beautiful of all, like my granddaughter!" followed by a proud, croaking laugh. Laertes had always been a proud and incurable romantic, without ever giving up some of her drama, grandmother Agata did nothing but remind her of it in her letters.
Like when Marlena pointed out to him, that the steering wheel of the car was too damaged for the latter to be considered in accordance with the law, but he had always replied that a good soldier and partisan would appeal to his driving experience and a little 'of elbow grease, in order to be sure that the itinerary of the journey would be peaceful and without unpleasant hitches.
Lapo let out an enthusiastic bark when the croaking car left the endless concrete of the highway behind, and then took a narrow, winding, uphill road that would have led them to the small town.
Her gaze stared blankly at what was running, like tape in a movie camera, out the window; She saw the buildings of the city become less present, as well as the stench of smog, then there was a long stretch of highway, immersed in the wheat fields and every now and then some small farm or spare parts industry or other jobs would emerge.
In the car there would have been complete silence, had it not been for the old radio which played an entire disc of all of Lucio Dalla's masterpieces; Marlena's grandfather liked that singer, but not in the same way chatting while driving, because according to him it would have increased the chances of road accidents by 50%, and frankly, the granddaughter didn't mind at all this acknowledgment ... she didn't even know where she should have started and however much her relatives tried to make her feel at ease, she imagined herself as a stranger, a stranger, who had knocked on their door and was now just trying to learn and remember their common manners.
"If you look to the right you will see the sea, Marlena" Laertes informed her, while he struggled with the steering wheel at every bend, but he did not dare to make even a moan under stress. The girl decided to accept those words, and looking out (after rolling down the window) a crisp air of salt pervaded her nostrils like the balm of a mint. Her eyes tried to show as little as possible the defeat of an amazement that had overwhelmed her like a raging wave, making her heart pound.
The sea. Marlena loved the sea. And for a few moments she was wondering what she had forced her to shut up in the house all that time, but then her mind went back to static and clear. She knew why, and there was no other reason to get her back together, even if it was difficult.
Yet there seemed to be few people around the streets, perhaps because at that time anyone with a minimum of wit would have holed up in the cool four walls of their home, just to escape the scorching heat that did not yield until the stroke of five in the afternoon .
By now it was almost two in the afternoon when Laertes' car passed the threshold of the square of the small town, while the attentive (even if apparently lost) gaze of his granddaughter observed everything in detail.
Nothing seems to have changed in that place since the last one who went there. The street was always covered with the usual, old and coarse slabs of white stone and eroded by the weather, as well as the various shops that surrounded the square and the small houses side by side, glazed with a fresh off-white plaster and dark brown roofs, the fountain in the center, and the small restaurant with its balcony overlooking the long pine forest that extended at the foot of the modest hill that supported the town.
A jolt suddenly shook Marlena, when her grandfather decided to pull over and pull up the handbrake of his FIAT, thus causing a slight recoil unexpectedly enough to suddenly wake the girl from her thoughts. She cleared her throat, while she opened her door, so that Lapo could finally trot and wag his tail excitedly around, on the other hand she didn't blame him, it must have been hard for a dog to stay good in the car for so many hours.
"Here we are!" proclaimed the elderly man putting the car keys in his pocket and then ring the bell of the small house next to FIAT "Your grandmother will be so happy to see you, I bet she will have prepared ciambelle with red wine to celebrate your reunion" he added while he waited for the woman he mentioned to open to him, already anticipating on his lips the pungent and sweet taste of those sweets he loved so much.
"So I suppose you made at least thirty" commented the young woman ironically, as she dragged out the two bags with extreme difficulty, attracting the attention of Laertes who, hastily adjusting his frizzy white hair, hastened to reach his niece to give her your support.
“Ah don't worry, kid. I'll take care of it, maybe you can ring the door, your grandmother has now gone deaf as a bell...” he said as he gave a slight snort and then muttered something.
"C’mon, grandpa" Marlena replied then raising her eyes to the sky trying not to smile, how melodramatic could that man be?
After pressing her finger on the bell again, the girl waited for someone to answer and hearing the approach of some quick steps together with the rubbing of flip-flops on the floor, made her realize that Agata had finally heard their arrival. Marlena did not even have time to greet the elderly lady, who took her in her arms, wrapping her in an embrace that caught her unprepared and to which she did not respond immediately.
“Oh my love! I’m so happy to see you again! But look how you have grown! It seems only yesterday when you reached mid-thigh and now...” the hands a little gnarled, but from the soft fingertips of the woman, gently took the face of her niece like a cup, as if to feel if her presence was only fantasy or reality "...You are a woman to all intents and purposes" she whispered and then fussed with kisses all over her face, while Marlena whining pretending to be somehow annoyed.
After climbing a short flight of stairs that led to the house located on the upper floor, the girl's nostrils and consciousness were flooded with memories and sensations already savored. She observed the now old floor of the house, granite tiles that alternated with one hand painted and another not; Marlena rejoiced with a touch of amusement when she as a child she spent boring afternoons playing on them, jumping only on the decorated ones because according to her imagination those remains were made of incandescent lava.
The walls were always the same, covered with a light blue paint and slightly lumpy at times, she could feel it, when the index and middle fingers of her right hand absently brushed the surface.
The house of Marlena's grandparents was very simple and perhaps apparently a little cramped. Having opened the wooden entrance door, after having passed the landing and the stairs, she had in front of her a corridor that extended along to her right, thus marking the various doors of each room that the house gathered inside. Almost parallel to the entrance there was the kitchen door on the opposite wall, without doors, next to it the bathroom door, and then the door to the room of the two elderly spouses. At the end of the corridor there was a small balcony with the railing covered with hanging vases where, like a multicolored waterfall, a thick branching of coral red bucanville came out which, in addition to poetically letting itself fall from the small niche, climbed elegant and graceful on the handrail of the then hug the outside walls of the house.
Marlena took advantage of it, to be able to peep there, while she deeply breathed the fragrant and velvety scent of those petals, mixed with the sea breeze that came from beyond the pine forest that surrounded the town. She observed the small houses around her while if she winked she could distinguish the clear line of the flat and calm sea that merged in perfect alchemy with the clear sky on the horizon.
The young woman tried in every way to convince herself that that enchanted place, that little corner of paradise had never failed her...but she suddenly proclaimed herself foolish for having thought such a cynical thing in the least.

Because Hearts Get Broken - Loving Is The Antidote (Part 3/3)
Because Hearts Get Broken Part 3 :) read the first two on my masterlist

Warnings: SMUT!!! (so beware, this is kinda sweet, but oh so filthy; unprotected sex (wrap it before you tap it), m going down on f, slight fingering etc), swearing
Word count: 5895
Y/N had never been so nervous while getting ready for a show. She liked to be front-row, right by the stage to feel as close to the music as possible, the energy of the crowd filling her up and making her buzz with excitement, even hours after the concert was done.
The thing was – with when they started dating and then with the pandemic shutting everything down in spring, Y/N had never seen Harry live. Sure, he’d given her private concerts, had sung her any song she wanted, but this was different. Somehow, even though there were more people, it felt more intimate because this wasn’t just him lulling Y/N to sleep. This was Harry baring part of his soul to the world, and doing it with such ease, it made her heart ache.
The venue was small, at least compared to the arena sizes Y/N knew he typically performed at. There were around 100ish or so people, and the line was quite quick to move.
She told the woman with the clipboard her name and provided some ID. The list wasn’t that long, and it took her barely two seconds to spot the name, as she smiled and gave Y/N a nod.
“I’ll have Bert escort you to the backstage if you’ll just follow him, please.”
“Could I actually watch from the crowd?” Y/N asked biting her lip. “I love being a part of it, you know. Feel the energy and stuff.”
“Uh, sure.” The woman gave her an uncertain look. “It’s just that Mr Styles asked for you to be brought backstage, and umm…”
“If Harry says anything,” Y/N put a reassuring hand on her shoulder, “I’ll deal with it. Please, don’t worry too much. Unless he wants a kidnapping charge, he’ll deal with the fact that I’m inside the venue.”
And that seemed to do the trick, as the girl, visibly relaxed and even laughed a bit, handing Y/N back her ID and motioning with her head to go inside.
Small tables had been set up, and each one could house four people at a time. Most of them had already been taken and given how she didn’t want to draw any attention, Y/N decided to take one of the tables at the very back, a pillar half obscuring the stage and with that – her face.
The enthusiasm was palpable in the air, and people were chattering away, anticipating the moment Harry with his band would walk onto the stage. A waitress came up to her, asking if she wanted anything to eat or drink.
“And your name, please? To set up a tab.”
“Y/N Y/L/N.”
“Oh,” her eyes went a bit wide. “Um, no need to pay then.”
Her brows furrowed. “Excuse me?”
“We’ve been told that anything you order should be put on Mr Sty – “
“Mr Styles tab,” Y/N finished the sentence with a chuckle. “Yeah. Okay… well, is it possible for you to not say anything to him and let me pay for my drinks?”
“I – “ she shrugged. “I guess?”
“Just the G&T please.”
The waitress nodded and clicked her pen, still seemingly unsure about what to do, but ultimately deciding to go with what Y/N asked. “Coming right up.”
The lights dimmed, and Y/N’s attention was brought to the stage, where she saw Harry, Sarah, Mitch, Adam, Naomi and Charlotte appear and take their places, as applause and cheers became their background music.
He looked good, very good, in fact. His brown hair was the typical messy mop on top of his head, the signature pearl necklace around his neck, while he sported the soft rainbow cardigan, a sharp-looking high neck button-up, and black slacks, with black boots.
“Thank you all for coming on such short notice,” Harry started, and it made a collective chuckle rise into the air. He could post a fleeting comment on Instagram saying he was having a concert in three minutes, and there’d be ten thousand fans waiting for him. “When ‘Save the Children’ reached out to us and asked if we could help them raise some donations, we immediately hopped on the idea, and it warms our hearts seeing so many of you here, and the fact that you’re supporting their cause.”
Loud cheers immediately exploded, and Y/N obviously joined in.
“All proceeds for the tickets made today will go to them, as will any other donations you decide to give, so, I hope you do, and let’s get the show going.”
That was Sarah’s cue to hit her drumsticks together three times, as the notes of ‘Golden’ rattled the air.
Seeing Harry in his element was nothing short of electric. Although he was sitting down, and most of the songs he sang were acoustic versions, it was dazzling to see the passion seep out of his body and into the lyrics he'd composed.
Throughout most of it, his green eyes kept scanning over the gathered people, while flitting to see what was happening behind the curtain, and it made Y/N sort of giddy, thinking that he might be trying to find her.
Because in truth, he was. When Harry had arrived, he was all nerves and jitters, which had never happened before a show. Well, never before had Y/N come to one of his shows, so there was also that.
All throughout prep, he was waiting for someone from the staff to come up to him and tell him his girl had come, but no one did, until like five minutes before he was supposed to perform, a breathless woman, who seemed so nervous she was about to pass out, had tapped him on the shoulder.
“Is she here?” Now he was the breathless one.
“Uh, yeah, Y/N arrived a little while ago.”
His forehead creased in confusion. “Then, where is she? No one came to inform me.”
“I’m so sorry Mr Styles, but she asked to be allowed into the crowd, she uh… didn’t wanna be taken backstage.”
“Oh.”
That was literally all he could manage, as his heart dropped. “Well… at least she’s here.” He gave the assistant a smile. “Thank you. I uh, I hope you’ll enjoy the show.”
Then it was call-time, and he had to gather himself as he walked on the small podium, taking his place by the mic, and beginning the concert.
After each song, he scanned the gathered people, in hopes of seeing Y/N’s face, but she had hidden really well, and when he’d looked to the sides, wishing to see her frame standing there, he had to remind himself, that she was there, and he still had to fulfil a little surprise, which he hoped she’d like.
“You know when writing… songs are inspired by many things, but just like with books you reread, they can get new meanings and make you feel different than before. So, although I had no clue this person existed when I wrote this song, the second I met her, I knew it was about her. She’s uh, she’s here tonight.”
Y/N’s head snapped up from where she’d been propping it against her hand so hard, she was sure she heard a bone crack.
No.
Fucking.
Way.
“So, I’d like to end this small get together and dedicate it to her. And I know this isn’t one of her favourite songs,” Harry let out a small laugh, Sarah mimicking it behind the drums. “She told me she’s kind of sick of it, given how it was all over the radio at one point, but uh, I hope that maybe, she - uh - she just listens to the words, and knows I mean it.”
Y/N didn’t even need the first chord to be played to know what song he meant. ‘Adore You’.
During their quarantine, she’d jokingly said if it played one more time on the radio, she’d have to break up with him.
He’d yanked her down on the couch, nose nuzzling into her hair. “ ‘N why’s that? Thought you liked my singing.”
“I do,” Y/N wove her fingers into his locks and massaged at his scalp, making Harry let out a satisfied groan. “I just don’t wanna hear you sing about loving and adoring someone that ain’t me.”
A playful smirk pressed against her skin. “Jealous, are we?”
“No,” Y/N shrugged pinching his side. “Jus’ tired of the song.”
“Don’t worry.” He brought his face from where he’d hidden it by her shoulder and turned hers to face him. “From now on, whenever I’ll sing it, I’ll sing it for you. You’re the only person I wanna love and adore.”
“What about Gem and your mum.”
A disgusted look passed over his features. “Not in that way!”
“Harry!” Y/N slapped his arm as both of them dissolved into laughter.
“You don’t have to say you love me,” he sung, breaking her out of the trance, “you don’t have to say nothing, you don’t have to say you’re mine.”
She’d never hated the song, never meant it when she’d said that, and could never be mad at Harry for having written out his feelings, woven them into notes and masterfully put it together for others to hear.
It was a weird notion to Y/N though, knowing everyone in the world could hear how he’d loved someone so much, but that was just because of her own inability to properly express her feelings. Yet now, listening to him sing that song for her, made her chest hurt.
Thankfully Y/N wasn’t the only one sniffling in the audience, so she wasn’t standing out that much. She was kind of scared that Harry might look over and others would connect the dots, but he didn’t, not really at least. His green eyes scanned the people, but mostly he kept his gaze on the floor, as if afraid of what reaction everyone would have as the song ended.
“Thank you,” he muttered into the microphone the cheers morphed into ovations, while he pressed his fingers against his lips and ‘sent’ the kiss to the audience before retreating backstage with his band in tow. As people started to filter out, groups heading down the street while others lingered in hopes of catching a glimpse or having a word with Harry, Y/N waited by the table, finishing off her drink before moving towards the backstage.
“I uh.” She showed one of the security guards her ID. “I was told I can come backstage?”
The burly man looked down at the woman next to him, who much like the assistant before had a clipboard. When she found Y/N’s name she looked up and smiled. “Right this way.”
They wove through the small walkways, as people rushed back and forth, coiling up wires, dismantling the drum-set and carefully placing the instruments in their boxes for them to be put in the van.
“He’ll be back here in a minute,” the representative said, opening up a door where Harry’s name was plastered on, letting her step in, and Y/N nodded, pulling her jumper sleeves down her palms.
It was a nervous habit of hers, having switched over from biting her nails to plucking at loose threads of clothing to now pulling at them. Harry had been the one to help her get rid of the biting.
“How am I supposed to paint your nails, if you rip them off?”
Y/N had scoffed shoving him a bit. “You have your own nails to paint.”
“Yes, but I wanna make your pretty too.”
“You telling me I ain’t pretty enough for you?”
“No, I think you’re gorgeous, but,” he’d leaned closer to her, so close she could feel his teeth graze her earlobe, “I do love it when I can see marks on my back in the morning.”
Y/N let out a shaky breath, as butterflies tumbled through her stomach. Three minutes of anticipation and the door clicked open, making her whip around and come face to face with Harry.
“Hey,” he breathed out. “I uh I didn’t really think you’d come, but I’m really happy you did.”
Y/N shrugged toeing at the ground and smoothing her hands against her thighs. “I’ll always do everything I can to support you. Being together is not a condition in my book for making sure you’re alright and happy.”
“Did you uh – di –“
“Did I hear the song?” she interrupted him, and Harry visibly gulped nodding.
“Yeah.” It was barely a whisper, her eyes cast down, noticing how his foot was tapping an irregular rhythm.
“And?”
“And?” Y/N let out a chuckle before leaning down to the couch and grabbing a pillow. “How! Dare! You!” she yelled, hitting his arm with it. “You think you can just do that, you think you can dedicate a song – a fucking love song – to me and get away with it? You think you can just be sweet and nice and so fucking loving and not make me fall in love with you more? And – and – and you just think you can do that?! And make me feel things?”
Harry’s smile was blinding, as he grabbed the pillow, throwing it onto the sofa, and eliminating the two remaining steps between the two, hands on her waist, forehead to hers, as Y/N huffed seeing the smirk bloom even more on his lips. “I made you feel things, huh?”
“Yes,” she grumbled crossing her arms in front of her chest, but in no way was she attempting to push away from him, actually relishing his touch and warmth, and his skin against hers. “You did. And I hate you for that.”
“Do ya really, dove?” He was smiling wider than before.
Her nose brushed against his. “Very much so.”
“I love you too. So much.”
“You sure you want to take a chance on me?” Y/N had to ask. “It’s – I can’t promise it’ll be easy.”
“Love’s not supposed to be easy. And you’re worth it. You’re worth everything to me.”
“Okay then…” She had to suppress the cry that threatened to break out of her throat by clearing it. “But on one condition,” Y/N stated with all seriousness. “You give me a proper shag right here, right now, because I’ve missed you so much, I won’t be able to wait until home.”
“Fuck, dove!” Harry groaned and cupped her cheeks, pulling her lips to his. “They’re gonna ban me from here,” Harry muttered against Y/N’s mouth, trying to wiggle out of the cardigan.
“Then let’s give them a reason,” Y/N hummed against his lips, as her fingers, shaky but still nimble, undid the first button to his high-collared shirt.
Down and down, they went until the planes of his chest and stomach were exposed, and she could indulge herself by letting her palms and nails rake over the skin and the tattoos.
“Wanna taste you,” Harry gasped pulling away for a breath of air. “Haven’t had you in so long, wanna feel you cum on my tongue.”
Y/N’s eyes rolled to the back of her head from his words alone, and given how she didn’t trust her voice to not shake, she nodded her head, helping him get her boots off, toeing the socks with them and then shimmying out of her jeans.
Her bottom half was practically naked when Harry pulled her by the thighs, legs around his waist and lowered her on the shabby sofa. Her mind was so hazy from all the love and pleasure, Y/N didn’t even care about how it probably hadn’t had a good deep clean in ages.
Skilful hands lifted up her jumper, exposing the tank underneath. Harry raised his eyebrow. “How many layers do you have on? I want you naked.”
“It’s fucking winter in New York.” Y/N helped him remove the piece of clothing he found so offensive. “Did you want me to come in just lingerie and freeze my tits off?”
He hummed before looking up. “Speaking of tits? Can I see ‘em?”
“Maybe. If you eat me out first.”
“Deal.”
The thing was, as much as Harry wanted to dive right into it, he was feeling mischievous, so he decided to drag out the process as much as possible. Hands caressing her sides, he lifted the shirt so he could press kisses to her stomach, leaving invisible marks of love with every step of the way, and he grinned to himself hearing Y/N’s breath hitch as he reached her underwear.
There was an embarrassingly large wet spot, and Harry pressed his hips against the couch to somewhat minimise the pain he was starting to feel. He was not gonna blow a load in his pants when he finally got to be with Y/N again.
“Can I take 'em off?” Harry murmured, leaving a fluttery press of his mouth against her hipbone, while she viciously nodded.
Quickly he pressed a kiss to the spot he’d soon be able to see unclothed, and it made Y/N jerk, but fuck she was eager, pupils blown so much there was nothing left of her usual Y/E/C eyes, but two black abysses.
Harry’s were quite the same, as the green had turned dark jade, and even that was a small ringlet around his intense gaze.
“Do not!” She pointed a finger at him, and Harry stopped mid-motion, just as he was going to pocket her panties. “I won’t go commando while wearing jeans.”
“But –“
“It’s not you who’ll chafe.”
Harry huffed, and put them on the side of the couch. “Fine. But just so you know, you’re very boring and are ruining all the fun.”
“At least I won’t have to deal with a yeast infection.”
He couldn’t argue with that, running his hands over her thighs. “Fair enough. But you owe me a kiss.”
“Come here, you doofus,” she grabbed at the open lapels of his shirt and pulled him down, arms looping around his broad shoulder to have his chest pressed against hers and bring their lips back together.
For a couple of minutes, they let their tongues dance in the familiar rhythm. There were no teeth clashing, no foreheads bumping or biting. Despite both of their eagerness, they’d decided to revel in being together, so each kiss was experienced to the fullest.
“Better?” she asked, completely out of breath, as they pulled apart.
“Yeah.” Harry smiled, mind a blissed-out haze. “Now, where were we?”
She couldn’t really think straight either, so her only response was a lift of her hips.
“Right,” he sighed and slipped a delicate hand down her tummy and along the inside of her legs. “God, I missed being here.” And slowly his head joined where he was brushing the sensitive skin of the apex of her thighs.
“Harry!” she dragged out his name, as his fingers just kept skimming her skin, and when she thought they’d slip past her folds, he dragged them back to the inner thigh. “Stop teasing!” Y/N had her hands over her eyes.
“Why?” he smirked, kissing right around the place she wanted his lips on, but not on it. “It’s fun. Payback for everything you put me through.”
“Harry, I swear if you don’t put your tongue in me, I’ll put my foot through your face.”
He lifted her legs up, and then over his shoulders, caging her hips in with his arms. “Not if I do that.”
“Just – fuck! You’re such a bully!” Y/N laughed.
“Are you telling me, I’m being mean to my girlfriend, the love of my life, owner of my heart and soul?” he asked, leaning his cheek to rest against the inside of her thigh, and she wove her fingers into his hair.
“Well, if you don’t do anything, it’s gonna be ex-girlfriend again.”
Harry narrowed his eyes. “Look who’s being a bully now.”
“But – just – please!” she whined. “Please, I need it so bad.”
“Need what?”
“Ugh, you’re such a menace!” Y/N pretty much yelled and leaned to rest herself on her elbows, catching Harry’s eyes to keep a direct gaze. “I need your tongue so far up my cunt, that by the end of it all, your neck is covered in my cum. Happy now?”
His grin was wicked. “Very.”
That seemed to do the trick, as he lowered his head, and with closed eyes like a wine taster, finally attached his mouth to where Y/N had been craving him for so long. A deep sigh of relief passed her lips, and she threw her head back against the couch cushion, savouring the feeling of what was happening to her.
“Did you eat pineapples before coming?” Harry asked, replacing his tongue with two of his fingers; they slipped in without any resistance with how wet she was. “Taste… sweet.”
“Had a fruit salad for dinner,” she moaned as he leaned back in and licked a broad stripe. “Didn’t have anything else in the fridge.”
“That’s not proper dinner. Pizza afterwards?”
Y/N hummed as he sucked on her clit. “Domino’s?”
Harry linked his fingers through hers and brought their intertwined hands to rest on her stomach. “Whatever you want.”
“Isn’t this kind of cheating for you though?” she let out a choked-back laugh, and with furrowed brows, he detached himself from her core.
“What’dya mean?”
“You’re having dessert first.”
The singer threw his head back with a cackle. “Don’t worry, I’ll eat my veggies. But let me finish having my fruit first.”
It was like he’d been starved of her, and in a way, Harry definitely had been. For almost three months, a quarter of a year, he hadn’t felt Y/N’s touch, hadn’t tasted her, nor pretty much heard the sounds she made.
All he’d been left with was one last good-bye, a kiss given in a passion induced haze, and the one-sentence she’d recorded for her voicemail box, and well, let’s just say – Harry was more than happy to feel her hands let go of his and grasp onto his hair, to drink up everything she offered and listen to all of the moans Y/N was no longer depriving him of. It was heaven, to say the least.
“ ‘M not gonna last long,” she gasped, yanking at his hair, making him moan into her, the vibrations only adding to the already intense pleasure that was coursing through her veins.
Harry released her clit with a small pop. “Don’t want you to last long. Want you to cum and do it like you said you would – soak me all the way down to my neck.”
A second later, he had his mouth around her clit again, ten seconds later, her whole body seized up, the air got stuck at the back of her throat, as her eyes rolled to the back, and her back arched up from the couch so far Harry almost lost his hold on Y/N’s waist.
It was through a fog she heard Harry speak, and it took all of her willpower to focus on understanding what he was saying.
“Hey, come back to me, dove,” he whispered, gentle palms coming to hold Y/N’s face, and he intently watched her eyelids flutter, body still going through the aftershocks of orgasm. “Come back, dove.”
“Mhmm,” she let out a soft sigh, leaning her face more into Harry’s touch before opening her eyes and giving him a fucked-out smile.
“You good there?”
The words ‘the best’ were pretty much a slur, but Harry understood them, eyes twinkling. “Take my top off.”
“What?”
She quirked an eyebrow. “Didn’t you wanna see my tits?”
“Yeah,” Harry laughed. “I did – do. Very much so. Gonna let me?”
“Just take my top off.”
Pressing a chaste kiss to her lips, where she could taste herself (and much like Harry had said – she did taste sweet), he practically ripped the tank top off, and with a little help from Y/N who stretched her back, the bra came off as well, revealing her in her full naked glory.
“So beautiful,” he uttered in a soft voice. “Still so bloody gorgeous. Should kick myself for ever letting you go even for a second.”
A little piece of her heart broke at Harry’s statement. “Wasn’t your fault.”
“Maybe.” He dragged a hand between her breasts and watched as Y/N’s breathing went ragged. “Maybe not. All I know is, I shouldn’t have let you leave.”
“Then don’t let me. Please.”
It was the tears in her eyes which made him lean down and give her an open-mouthed kiss, tongue twisting against hers, promising that whatever happened, whatever insecurities came their way, he wouldn’t ever let go.
“Take these off,” Y/N said, popping open the button to his slack, and even that small motion made Harry release a groan of relief, as some of the pressure was taken off his painfully hard dick. “Wanna have you inside me.”
“Dove, you’ll kill me with that mouth of yours.”
“I’d rather you raw me than die.”
“ ‘S not my fault you’ve got such a dirty mouth.”
He’d managed to kick off his shoes, and shimmy the trousers down, now lying in a pile on the floor, while Y/N had fully removed his shirt and had thrown it somewhere across the room, itching to just have him pressed against her.
“Condom,” Harry hissed when Y/N’s hand slipped behind his briefs and grabbed him at the base, twisting her palm the way he liked, and slowly moving it up so she could press her thumb against the sensitive tip. “Condom – shit – Y/N, I wanna cum, but not that quick.”
“Nuhu,” she shook her head, wrapping her legs around his waist, both her hands going to the back of his underwear and dragging them down, not before squeezing his ass. “I said I want you to raw me.”
If Harry was going to bust a nut before, now it took him literally biting on his lip and closing his eyes for a minute to gather composure.
“Wait no!” Y/N suddenly sat upright as he was going to lean down, almost knocking her forehead to his nose.
“What? What’s wrong?”
“Nothing, I just wanna blow you.”
“I –,“ he stammered, “you – fuck. Okay. As much as I love that idea, because believe me I do, you’ll have to do it later, ‘cause I’m just about ready to cum.”
Y/N’s brows furrowed, hand reaching for his hard member, Harry having to stop her midway. “But – you just gave me such good head. I wanna give some to you too.”
“I will literally cum just from you talking if you don’t stop, but I really wanna fuck you, so will you please just let me?”
“Okay,” Y/N nodded leaning back down and reaching for Harry to lay over her. “But you’ll let me stuff my face with your cock after?”
“Jesus Christ.”
“ ‘S not fun being teased, is it?” Y/N grinned, biting on his earlobe, as Harry took himself and lined up with her entrance, letting the tip nudge against her clit.
“Yes well,” he took in a breath, slowly sinking in, “if you giving me a blowjob is your form of revenge, I might have to piss you off more.”
That was a suggestion Y/N was happy to take him up on, as long as it got Harry inside her.
He was being very gentle, very much so aware of how sensitive she still was from her previous orgasm, and all he wanted to do was make her feel as good as possible, so he stilled half-way in, but Y/N shook her head.
“More,” she whimpered.
“Don’t wanna hurt you,” he muttered against her lips, legs shaking from how much pleasure he was already having, but still very much so attuned to what Y/N’s body was telling him, yet she seemed to not be having any of it.
“Harry if you don’t get inside me right up to your balls, I will get myself off in front of you, and leave you high and dry.”
“Now that,” he looked at her pointedly, “just won’t do.” And with those words, he sank deeper, just as Y/N had requested until he’d bottomed out.
All the air had been choked out of her lungs from the sensation, and not only did Harry have to wait for a second for her to adjust (and to compose himself somewhat), but also for Y/N to take in a breath.
“Breathe, dove,” he let out a small laugh, and it made Y/N reciprocate, her chest rattling with uneven intakes. “Said I didn’t wanna hurt you, let alone kill you.”
“ ‘S not my fault your dick’s massive.”
“Do I hear complaining?”
“No, just stating a fact.”
“Well, I’ll be taking that as a compliment.” He smoothed away some strands of hair, letting the two of them just lay there for a moment, to relish in the normalcy of the situation and how amazing it was to be back together, emotionally, mentally, and physically.
Harry left kisses all over Y/N’s face as she calmed down, lips skimming over her cheeks, then down her jawline, up her chin to give a peck on the lips before kissing the tip of her nose and the bridge, then each of her eyelids and then the forehead before slipping to soothe at her temples. “You alright?” He checked in, a thumb stroking her cheek. “Do you want some water maybe?”
“No,” she shook her head, her own palms on a never-stopping motion on his back, up and down, and then circling against Harry’s sides. “Jus’ needed a second to gather myself. ‘S been a while.”
“So, you haven’t gotten with anyone while we – “
Y/N raised an eyebrow as his question trickled off. “Do you really wanna know if I’ve had sex with anyone? Right now? With your dick all the way in my vagina?”
“Hey! STDs are a real thing!”
“Harry, if I was, I would’ve told you before all of this. And not just because of health risks…”
And that made something in his chest bloom. This certain hope, he’d felt get extinguished when Y/N had broken it off, but that had been quite the pest in his mind. The hope that was the reason he’d tried so hard to talk to her both on New Year’s and then the week prior – the hope, that Y/N did trust him enough to open up, and that if he just gave her the time, she’d do so without inhibitions.
Her answer confirmed it to Harry. He had no rights to know what her sex life was like when they weren’t together, he wasn’t her keeper, but the fact that she’d implied, she would’ve let him know regardless, that Y/N so wholeheartedly trusted him with such intimate information made that hope blossom into a glowing flower.
“I haven’t been with anyone either,” his tone was sincere. “I – I couldn’t. I tried to, but I just couldn’t take it that far, because every time I opened my eyes… it wasn’t you staring back at me.”
“Haz…” tears gleamed on Y/N’s bottom lashes, and when they fell, he gently wiped them away. “I’m sorry.”
“No.” He shook his head. “None of that. It was a good thing. Because we’re here, right now, right this second, and it’s you I’m with, and it’s you I wanted. Needed. So, none of that.”
“I just – “
“I know,” he said and pressed his forehead against hers. “I know.”
“Okay… I – “ she took in a breath. “I think you can move now.”
“You sure?”
“Mhm,” Y/N hummed. “Just take it slow at first.”
Harry’s head fell into the crook of her neck. “I’ll take care of you. Promise. Just tell me if it hurts, and we’ll stop.”
“You could never hurt me.”
And as much as her statement made his insides all warm and fuzzy, Harry still moved gently. Slowly he rolled his hips into hers and took in the small moan that left Y/N’s throat. Then once more, and more, and more until he’d set a bruising pace, pounding into her so much, the table next to the sofa shook with the force.
“Fuck, Haz.” It was a breathless whimper, her nails digging oh so deliciously into his back, leaving crescent moon marks for him to admire later. “Feels so good. So deep.”
“And you’re so tight,” he grunted, placing a hand on her lower stomach and pushing down until he could feel himself moving inside of Y/N. “Taking me so fucking well.”
One of his palms came to rest by her head, and the other took the arm of the couch, giving Harry the chance to lean into her even more and finally hit that spot that made all thought leave her head, and all breaths come in short gasps, while she desperately tried to hold onto reality by digging her nails in his biceps.
Not that Harry was fairing any better. With every thrust and stroke, he was slowly coming closer to letting go, to finally getting that release he craved and painting Y/N’s core with his cum, but before that, he just had to, if only to prove to himself he could, get her off one more time.
His palm slipped down from the armrest of the couch, over Y/N’s collarbones, squeezing her breast before finding its way between them to rub circles over her clit.
“Ah, shit,” he moaned, looking at where his cock was disappearing into her, wetness spilling and sticking to his lower abdomen and thighs. “Fuck, dove, I need you to come.”
“ ‘M almost there,” she gasped. “Don’t stop rubbing.”
He didn’t, instead, increasing the pace, and he felt her clench more and more until there was pretty much no way for him to move and that pushed both of them over the edge.
It was an explosion of fireworks without a sound, as bright colours came to life behind their eyelids, but all the noise became non-existent, the most euphoric feeling in the world seemed to replace their blood and replenish their souls with love.
But funnily enough, even though Y/N was the one who’d had two mind-blowing orgasms, it seemed Harry was having a harder time coming down from the high, as he was still shaking, his whole body racked by tremors, hair sticking to his sweat-slicked skin.
“Come back to me, Haz.” Y/N kissed his eyelids just like he’d done to her. “Come back. ‘S alright.”
“Nuhu,” he shook his head, laughter rumbling through his chest and reverberating into hers. “I think you’ve killed me. Absolutely bloody murdered me.”
“Guess I gotta hide your body then.” She smiled, letting her hands roam his back and soothe the pain her nails had left.
“Good thing you’re obsessed with all those crime shows.”
“Gotta get some useful skills somehow.”
Loud banging against the door made the two jump, and Harry whipped his head towards it.
“Are you two done fucking?” Sarah hollered. “ ‘Cause there are people here who’d like to change and get something to eat.”
“What’dya say?” Harry raised an eyebrow at Y/N. “Pizza?”
“You did promise dinner.”
“I did.” He kissed her. God, he was never going to get tired of kissing her. And luckily, Y/N was there to stay.
“Great.” She smiled. “And after that, I’ll get my desert.”

Love Notes - Momo masterlist
Summary: Who’s been sending you love notes??
Genre: Fluff
Warnings: eccentric reader, gender neutral reader, friends with Baku-squad,
A/N: PLEASEEE i’m in love with Momo kasksksooa she’s so cute 🥺🥺 anyways feel free to drop an ask in my inbox i’d love to write any ideas you have ❥
As I entered the classroom I noticed something sitting on my desk. A small, folded piece of paper.
I walked over, the mystery peaking my interest the closer I got. The folding was neat, a cleanly cut paper. I unfolded it, revealing the lovely writing plastered on the paper.
Y/N, you’re the prettiest person in this class, please remember that.
I smiled, placing my stuff down on my desk and rereading the note.
“Ouuu what’s that?” Kaminari asked, popping over my shoulder.
“It’s a note,” I said proudly. Everyone was piling in now, wondering what the fuss was about. “See this people? This note, which was placed anonymously on my desk, says I’m the prettiest in the class.”
Bakugo scoffed, “yeah right. More like you put it there.”
“I did not!” I defended. “Besides, it’s clearly a lie, have you seen Yaoyorozu?”
I saw her cheeks tint a slight pink when I looked in her direction.
“Whatever, L/N,” Bakugo sat in his seat. “I just know you put it there.”
I rolled my eyes before sitting back down, looking at the note in my hand and smiling.
・❥・
The next time a note was on my desk was the following week. I immediately perked up seeing the folded paper on my desk and strolled happily over to it.
“Is it another one?” Kirishima asked as he and Kaminari crowded me.
“Give me room!” I said, pushing the two away as I unfolded the paper. The two groaned and immediately crowded again while I read it aloud.
“Y/N, you have the most beautiful eyes.”
“We all know my eyes are the most beautiful,” Kaminari joked. “Clearly it is just Y/N placing notes on the desk.”
“Is not!” I yelled as Momo walked in. Quickly I moved over to her, tripping over desks. “Look, Yaoyorozu!”
She struggled to catch me as I tripped, waving the paper in my hand. I caught myself with the help of her and she chuckled. My mind short circuited hearing something so beautiful.
“Another note?” She asked softly, taking the paper from my hand. I watched her eyes read over the paper, a light blush forming on her cheeks. “It looks like the paper reads a factual sentence.”
She handed the paper back to me, sitting down as my mouth opened with shock. Did she just…. flirt with me?
“Hey, tongue back in mouth.” Mina poked me. “You’re gonna drool all over the floor.”
“Mhm,” I closed my mouth. Turning back to my seat, I clutched the note. She had flirted with me.
・❥・
The next note came the next day, sitting pretty on my desk for me. I bounded over, gripping Bakugo’s arm as he started yelling.
“Stop touching me! Get off!” He was screaming while I picked the note up.
“Look! Look!” I was excited this time, quickly opening the note and smiling as I read.
You look cute when you’re flustered.
My cheeks burned as the other students came in. Kaminari looked over my shoulder, his eyes widening as he read.
“What does it say?” Bakugo asked, acting as if he didn’t care.
“It says Y/N looks cute when flustered.” Kaminari read.
“Dang!!” Kirishima looked. “That’s bold.”
“It looks like it might’ve killed Y/N,” Mina chuckled as she took your appearance in.
My eyes landed on Yaoyorozu, seeing as she smirked and sat down. My head tilted and I made my way over to her.
Looking over her shoulder and placing the paper in front of her.
“You wouldn’t happen to know anything about this, would you?” I asked softly, whispering in her ear so only she heard.
Her face went red and she looked down.
“You look cute when you’re flustered too, Yaoyorozu.” I whispered again, shoving the note into my pocket and walking back to my desk.
・❥・
After that notes stopped coming, to my dismay. I kept the three in your dorm, taped proudly to the wall by my desk so everyone who came in could see.
It had been a month since the last note. I was happy to know who was sending them, but dismayed to know that meant I didn’t get anymore.
Groaning at the end of class, I sunk in your chair.
“Another test?” Kaminari came up to me. “I’m just gonna fail.”
“Me too,” Kirishima joined him with Mina by his side.
“Same,” I nodded.
Momo turned around, looking mostly at me. “I can help.”
I smiled brightly at her. “Can you?”
“I can, you guys want help studying?” She looked to the rest. My heart slightly dropped at the thought of everyone being there, but it perked up again at the thought of studying with Momo.
“Yes please!!” Mina jumped up. She gave Momo a hug, followed by Kaminari and Kirishima joining in.
“You’re a saviour, Yaoyorozu.” Kaminari saluted her as he left, Kirishima and Mina following behind.
She smiled brightly at them before turning to collect her stuff. I walked up behind her, taping her shoulder.
She jumped a little and turned to me, blushing once our eyes made eye contact.
“Thank you,” I smiled.
“A-Anytime.” Yaoyorozu smiled back.
I turned away and walked to my next class, smile becoming bigger as I ran to catch up with the rest.
・❥・
With Mina and Kirishima walking behind, I walked up to the door. Kaminari was late, per usual.
As I knocked, Momo answered quickly with a smile on her face.
My eyes widened as I looked at her, surprised to see her out of her uniform.
She wore a black turtleneck, her hair down. A brown skirt poked out from her turtleneck, going down to just above her knees.
“Stop staring,” Mina teased, poking me.
“I’m not staring,” I held my head high and pouted. Clearly it was a lie, but Mina chuckled before slipping into Momo’s room with Kirishima.
I knew that Momo was smart but I never knew how good of a teacher she’d be. Kaminari came ten minutes after us, he apologized and she chuckled.
I watched her explain the answers to Mina, the pink girl’s eyes widening once she understood. Kirishima kept groaning and every time he did, she was by his side and explaining his latest pain.
I didn’t ask for help, I just watched and read her notes. The handwriting I so missed, my fingers brushing over the letters.
After a while Mina left, thanking Momo before giving me a quick wink.
A few minutes pasted and Kirishima left too, thanking Momo before shooting me a small glance.
Kaminari had fallen asleep, sprawled out on Momo’s floor as his soft snores filled the room.
“You still need help, Y/N?” Momo asked. She pulled her chair next to me and looked over my shoulder.
“Oh, yeah sure.” I mumbled. “Hey Momo?”
She looked up to face me, eyes questioning. “Mhm?”
“You sent those letters, so why’d you stop?” I asked her.
A blush formed on her cheeks and she looked back at Kaminari, who was still fast asleep.
“I-I…..” She looked down. “You found out.”
“Momo do you like me?” I asked. “As in more than friends.”
She looked up again, making eye contact with her mouth slightly parted. Her look of embarrassment mixed with softness answered my question.
“Momo…. one more thing.” I said. “Can I kiss you?”
Her eyes widened, but she nodded. I turned to her, pulling her closer to me as we both closed our eyes.
Her lips were soft, sweet on my own. Our lips moved together perfectly, like we were made for one another.
When we pulled away, I felt her soft breath on my lips, her small gasp as I looked in her eyes.
“Can I ask one more question?”
“You said that right before we kissed.”
“Momo, will you be my girlfriend?”
“Yes.”
I smiled as her words, hugging her tightly and kissing her cheek.
“Finally!” A small groan came from the floor. Momo and I jumped, glancing over at Kaminari.
He was sitting on the floor now, eyes fixated on us as a smile spread across his face.
“Denki!” I yelled as he took a picture of us, flash still on.
“I’ve been waiting for you to do this for like, five years.”
“We haven’t even known each other for five years.”
Momo chuckled and I could help but smile as I turned to see her. She was happy, and I’d done that. I laughed with her, unable to keep my happiness inside.
I was finally with the girl of my dreams.

Two Faced | Chapter Five
↳ levi ackerman, the very person who was about to kindly behead you by a surprising turn of events manages to become your loving husband? you would be elated if this was true love, but it's all thanks to a mysterious magic spell that your life is spared. for now at least.
pairing :: duke!levi x duchess!reader genre :: royal au, angst, fluff, slice of life etc word count :: 3k author note :: just got diagnosed with covid so i have a lot of spare time on my hands so ummm send in any requests you have into my ask box i’d love to try doing headcanons!! → next part is here!!
Erwin sees the confused look you have and now he too seems lost as he shifts his line of vision to Levi. At that moment your husband slams his heel and grinds it onto your foot. Squirming around in your seat dealing with the stinging pain you catch on that you can't let Erwin think you're clueless.
Quickly, the look of confusion washes away from your features and you return his smile. "I'm willing to do what I must."
You think you've ruined this entirely because Erwin's eyes dart suspiciously between you and your husband. However, Hange intervenes, the interference seems to be enough for him to shake off any skepticism he senses.
Two hands hold onto your frame and squeeze your shoulders. Hange is standing up and seems ecstatic."You two are just so evil." they cackle to themself and you play along laughing too. You are not giving Levi the opportunity to ram into your foot again. Hange who is practically a personified ray of Sunshine at all times does still seem a little down, you did pick up on it when you entered the room. Maybe it was just you overthinking, that's what you assure yourself with.
Then it settles in your bones. Evil? Blinking you turn to look at Levi hoping for some sort of indication about whatever is going on.
"She wouldn't listen to me at all, said she felt the need to step in and help the Empire in some way." His tone is monotonous, still not sparing you a glance and you want to kick him in the shins. He's usually much more affectionate and you're afraid Squad Leader Hange and Commander Erwin will figure out this is all a facade.
"It's a noble commitment to put yourself forward for such a risky position, I see why you and Lance Corporal Levi are a sound match." Erwin isn't smiling this time but his tone is content.
Mind now buzzing with ideas you want to fall face first into the carpeted floor of the office spread out like a starfish. You would prefer that instead of being left in the dark. Could they simply mention the name of whatever it is you've apparently offered to do?
Levi's clearly grimaces but then he moves to hold your hand rather boldly. Shaking him off isn't an available option because of his strong grip. "She wouldn't listen to me at all. If I had it my way she wouldn't step anywhere near enemy soil." He grumbles.
The fake concern he's trying to lace in his voice is having an effect on his two colleagues, they're eating it up and believe this act.
Enemy soil? Risky position? He has to be stealthily plotting your death because you see no other reason for why you would be sent off to venture anywhere near the enemy. You aren't even apart of their regime, or any regime for that matter, you're itching with nervousness and want to free your hand from his desperately.
The only emotion this man is good at feigning is straight boredom, he ignores the way your hand shakes and squirms, ignores how your palms are dampening with sweat, instead the way he holds onto you only strengthens. It's surprising that no one has said a word about the lack of chemistry between the two of you.
Suddenly Hange looks down at their pocket watch and hurriedly gets to their feet dragging Erwin up with them too. "Y/N, I have something to tell you later on, please do stop by HQ when you can, I expect that will be soon." They then tell Erwin that there's no time to loiter and that there are more important meetings to attend to.
Erwin leans into your ear and whispers. "He seems disturbed that you're putting yourself at risk. He means well." You wish that were the case but it isn't. Despite that the way Erwin tries to explain Levi's behavior is sweet.
Hange gives you a cute thumbs up but makes it a point that you need to speak later on, even as they're both walking out the door Hange keeps reminding you to meet up later on. The abnormal behavior between you and Levi may have been noticed but you know if that were the case Hange would have been more vocal about it.
"Combat classes start soon. We know this will all be difficult, building you up from scratch is hazardous but all in good time you will serve a key role in the liberation of Paradis."
Erwin's parting words are gracious.
And then both the Commander and Squad Leader leave, the room is empty but Levi doesn't even wait for the door to shut behind your two visitors.
He makes it a priority to throw your hand away from his, he's now methodically using his handkerchief to dust his fingers off. It's oddly ironic and enrages you because he's the one who grappled your hand into his grasp. What's the point when those same hands until recently looped around your waist in the middle of the night?
He thinks your hand is filthy, that you yourself are filthy and disgusting. At least that's what you think he thinks.
Crossing your arms over your chest you make your feelings known to Levi. You're frustrated beyond the way words can describe, it's not about how he refuses to touch you. Admittedly that does hurt you, makes your chest swell in remembrance of the old days but you really just want to know what he's put you up to without your permission.
Not speaking you wait for him to take the hint but he doesn't get it or he refuses to acknowledge your existence, something tells you it's the latter because all he cares about is sanitizing his hands.
He always had been a clean freak but when he was enchanted it didn't take much for him to touch you. Part of you wonders if it's the nature of the touch that he wants to exterminate or the fact it's your skin he's come in contact with which is bothering him.
"Care to explain?"
"Touching someone such as yourself romantically gives me the urge to retch." The confession is as acidic as the after taste one has after a late night of drinking, but he has no problem telling you the blunt truth.
"I see." You shortly reply, you weren't asking about that, your question was directed more towards the conversation which just took place with his colleagues but now knowing he doesn't want to touch you has an emptying effect on your chest.
A silent minute passes, maybe two minutes, you're not sure all you're doing is eyeing the carpet thinking about how you would like to be asphyxiated and brought to your end, you can't handle this for much longer.
"Sign these papers, we need your written consent." His voice shows no hints hints of Lev. Last night may have been the last time you had a chance to witness him.
A stack of documents is thrown in front of you and then you see it right at the top of the pile. A sheet filled with general information, eyes skim over the "Purpose of employment" section and you don't know what churns in your stomach. Is it Exasperation? Nerves? Grief? It can't be pinpointed, it could be a mix of all three.
"An Informant."
Rereading the title you hold the paper in disbelief between your palms. "You told your regiment that I would be willing to spy in on enemy kingdoms?"
His hands rub at his forehead, he's not perturbed at all. "Is it in your blood to be ungrateful?" Brutally cynical his tone is rocky.
He moves - not even towards you but for some reason you flinch stopping him in his tracks almost immediately. Narrow ice cold eyes trace your face carefully for any signs of manipulation or deception. Gulping anxiously you know you have to be careful with what you say or do. Getting too comfortable or casual around him is a risk you are not willing to take.
"I don't think you understand. I do not have the abilities nor the skill to do this. I would cause more issues." You cautiously move to grab his arm but before you get there he takes a wide step back. He's clearly defining that there's a boundary. You won't step into his territory not when you've already invaded a large portion of it for so long.
"I am no witch. I still don't understand what happened." You mutter hoping he believes you or at least tries to.
"Then die." Levi hisses. He fixes you with his poisonous stare. "Make it quick."
Curse yourself to a life with this man who every step of the way is hoping for your death - maybe he'll even push you towards it purposefully one day. The alternative choice available is to die by the hands of that same man right now.
Guilt and regret are what you feel, you can't look death in the eye proudly. Not right now. If you can't commit to the promise you made mother then there is truly no point in making your way to the afterlife.
Cowardice is not the cause of death you want to present her with.
With a heavy heart you sign the papers.
It's been a few days since then, you've received training from some of Levi's squad, at first the combat is nerve wracking but you get to a level where you feel comfortable in terms of defense.
Oluo is slow, you've picked up on the way his stance predicts every move he's about to make. You're thankful for that because it makes training easier, he's oblivious to just how easy it is to read his movements and you snigger at that. Today he's trying a new technique, it consists of attempting to dive in the direction of one of your shoulders and suddenly darting at the other. It catches you off guard for a second but it's simple to block him. Jumping back from another surprise attack you lunge forward as if you're aiming for his face. He lights up thinking this is his chance unbeknownst to him you've already seen the open opportunity you've been waiting for. You can change the wager in this brawl. Swiftly ducking you undercut him with one of your legs, his balance has been knocked and he stumbles teetering by a thread.
A solid kick to his stomach is all it takes for him to collapse to the ground grumbling in vexation.
Mikasa has been helping you with one on one combat and the extra hours of training behind the stables has clearly been of benefit.
Thinking back to your training sessions with Mikasa you frown, not because of the way she flipped you and shoved you into the dirt, no that part was quite exhilarating. It's Sasha. She's been on your mind. She has to be feeling left out, that's your fault you've kept her in the dark about joining the regime, how could you attend training with her? Your maid waiting on you whilst you were training? Impossible.
The last problem you wish to arise is everyone finding out you're Duchess Ackerman. No one has to know about that minor detail, in fact when you informed Hange and Erwin of your decision they strongly agreed it would be best to hide it.
"I think we should get you strapped into some gear. See how good you really are in the dexterity department." Oluo is spitefully mumbling under his breath red faced.
Offering him your hand he looks like he wants to smack it away, You don't have time for this, you were planning on dropping by and paying Hange their more than overdue visit after training hours were up.
ODM-gear doesn't look too hard, you're sure you can work out the mechanisms if given some time. Calculating and shifting time blocks in your head you can come to an end at Six, if and only if you're able to rush past ODM training.
"Okay, I admit you were tired today I could tell. I'll strap myself into some gear."
At this new new challenge Oluo willingly takes your hand and you heave him up.
He's got a cocky shit-eating grin sprawled across his face as he pats your back enthusiastically.
"Good luck, you're in for one hell of a ride."
Three dimensional ODM-gear, a contraption that is very different to a sword or dagger. Most soldiers find it difficult to master the balancing of all their body weight whilst simultaneously gliding through the air with the grapple hooks. This is why introductory lessons in balance, momentum and effective weight distribution are a must.
It's been instructed that you won't be using ODM-gear nearly as much as other members of the regiment, you're training to become a spy after all and ODM-gear is very obviously visible when a person is strapped into their uniform. Nevertheless it's still a requirement to be able to use it. It's a hurdle because it's not your forte by any means but you can't continue avoiding it.
When living as the Duchess you deemed it pivotal to only interact with a limited number of Levi's colleagues, those who worked at the estate couldn't be avoided such as Mikasa but apart from that Hange was the only outsider you spoke to (Before Erwin had come along). You don't know if you regret that decision because it's definitely why everyone is cackling as you thrash around, they have no idea he has a wife and if they do they show no inclination of knowing you are that woman.
Sniggers can be heard as you struggle to center your strength fully, your instructor bellows at you. "No, come on. STOP FLAILING AROUND!" Particles of his saliva fly in your face and that only feeds into your embarrassment. Paralyzed you don't know what to do, he tells you to not move around then the next minute barks at you to not give up, repeats that you have the agility level equivalent of a sick child.
You've been stuck in this upside down position for more time than you can imagine, at some point a large majority of the scouts including Oluo double down in laughter whenever you make a mistake - they berate you when you are trying your best.
Legs kicking out you're panicking and want to escape the harness you're in.
Oluo was right, nothing could prepare you for this.
Mikasa when she isn't busy assisting Levi is a part of the regime too, that's why she's grinding her teeth this morning when she walks into the training grounds and sees the whole scene play out right before her eyes.
She wants to desperately step in and stop this because you being forced into ODM training without having your core strength developed is unfair.
Then a yell is heard from the crowd "GO Y/N!! LISTEN TO ME ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS KEEP CALM!" Both you and Mikasa turn to see Sasha standing next to her.
Sasha? Mikasa knows very well how you forbade her to follow you today, you gave her the day off to visit her family.
"I thought Y/N warned yo-"
"I am dedicated in my service to the Lady, if she chooses to do this I will be by her side to support her. She does not have to feel embarrassed."
Members of the corps are eyeing her weirdly when she says "Lady" she doesn't know you're keeping your identity secret, that was the reason for giving her time away, you were afraid she'd slip up and expose you but simply hearing Sasha proudly announce her commitment for you in front of all these people knocks the wind right out of your chest. You've never felt this much importance before.
Sasha's motivation is all you need because by a miraculous turn of events you manage to steady your breathing pattern and find it within yourself to focus on your core. Wobbling shakily the transition is far from smooth but you flip yourself right side up, the muscles in your calf ache and throb with pain but you've done it.
Grinning from ear to ear at your two friends you feel light-headed with relief.
"Took her long enough." Levi sneers. He's made his way to the front of the crowd, you wonder when he got here. Beaming at him you think your presentation might be enough to discourage his usual response. You're incorrect.
"She's a shame to this squad, there is no need in motivating someone of her rank." Shallow breaths puffing out of you it comes to your attention that he's addressing Sasha.
She ignores what he has to say about you and stays silent, any normal person would have their head hanging down in shame but she looks into his eyes with a determination that takes your breath away.
He pays her no mind after that and turns back to where you're still struggling to keep steady. "Don't think you're hot shit." Your bottom teeth dig into your lip, and your throat suddenly clamps down on you restricting your breath. "She's no good at combat, no good at using her gear. Do you only excel at spreading lies, Cadet?" The way he's now completely indignant in the way he speaks stings. He doesn't even bother to sound normal in front of Mikasa or Sasha anymore, it makes you manually hollow your cheeks trying to keep your tears at bay.
Lies, you know what he's referencing. You want to grab him by the collar of his shirt and throw him to the muddy ground. That's what he deserves for prodding and poking at your vulnerabilities.
He doesn't understand the degree at which all these sudden changes are affecting you, in his eyes this is light work and shouldn't impact you at all, that's why when you feel a muscle contraction and reel backwards, rapidly falling back into that cursed upside down position. He scoffs, doesn't even move to check if you're okay.
Whispers circle around you and even some of the cadets who participated in ridiculing you step forward to take you out of your harness. However, Sasha and Mikasa get there first and shoot them with their intense glares, the both of them work on hoisting you out of your gear.
Levi takes one last look at you before he storms away convinced you're faking, what else would a runt like you do to escape the situation?
In his mind you lost your momentum and your ship capsized because of your own self sabotage.
Little does he know all that has truly lost momentum is the inner-workings of your heart and that is all thanks to him.
