It shouldn't be amusing when cops don't know the law; it should terrify you.
#politics#acab#'cops enforce the law though!' then why don't they know the law. how the fuck do you enforce things you don't know.#so that tells me that policing isn't about 'knowing the law' if it isn't rquired#the fact that a cop can be TOLD THEY ARE WRONG and still fuck up should terrify you#it terrified me watching bodycam footage of this cop threatening to TASER a woman because she knew her rights...#...she knew the LAW and she made that clear but she was STILL arrested and threatened with greater bodily harm...#...and the department that cop works at is STILL doing NOTHING to address it (the cop in question was 'on leave' last i heard)...#...fuck they had to turn the comments off their department's facebook page because they wanted to bury the comments DEMANDING answers#the people didn't fucking forget until they were shut up. and the department is still doing nothing. that tells me everything
