#nothing new - just thinking about three separate instances of this that have pissed me off so badly that i still remember them#it is MADDENING - i hate it so much#going there to either double-check or screenshot lyrics and then seeing the gray highlighted text is like seeing a filtered post on tumblr#i KNOW i shouldn’t click… i know it has at least a 40% chance of pissing me off#and yet i do it anyway#i’m actually very good at NOT doing that with tumblr posts - but i am weak to song annotations for some reason#i guess bc there’s a 60% chance it’ll be some actually cool context or something the songwriter has said#so i get my hopes up#it’s a viscous cycle#usually i can just roll my eyes and move on tho#it takes a special kind of dense to agitate me this much 😂😂#(okay - for the record - i obviously meant ‘vicious cycle’ and was the victim of autocorrect - but ‘viscous cycle’ is hilarious so i’m#keeping it)
