Skritch turned one year old and celebrated with a cheesecake.
(I only know his approximate age, so let's just pretend it is his b-day)
After the birthday boy, everyone else got to enjoy the cheesecake. Maybe when he turns two he will learn how to eat from a plate and not get food all over his snout.

komaedas have you tried straw.page?
(i hope you don't mind if i make a big ollllle webdev post off this!)
i have never tried straw.page but it looks similar to carrd and other WYSIWYG editors (which is unappealing to me, since i know html/css/js and want full control of the code. and can't hide secrets in code comments.....)
my 2 cents as a web designer is if you're looking to learn web design or host long-term web projects, WYSIWYG editors suck doodooass. you don't learn the basics of coding, someone else does it for you! however, if you're just looking to quickly host images, links to your other social medias, write text entries/blogposts, WYSIWYG can be nice.
toyhouse, tumblr, deviantart, a lot of sites implement WYSIWYG for their post editors as well, but then you can run into issues relying on their main site features for things like the search system, user profiles, comments, etc. but it can be nice to just login to your account and host your information in one place, especially on a platform that's geared towards that specific type of information. (toyhouse is a better example of this, since you have a lot of control of how your profile/character pages look, even without a premium account) carrd can be nice if you just want to say "here's where to find me on other sites," for example. but sometimes you want a full website!
---------------------------------------
neocities hosting
currently, i host my website on neocities, but i would say the web2.0sphere has sucked some doodooass right now and i'm fiending for something better than it. it's a static web host, e.g. you can upload text, image, audio, and client-side (mostly javascript and css) files, and html pages. for the past few years, neocities' servers have gotten slower and slower and had total blackouts with no notices about why it's happening... and i'm realizing they host a lot of crypto sites that have crypto miners that eat up a ton of server resources. i don't think they're doing anything to limit bot or crypto mining activity and regular users are taking a hit.
↑ page 1 on neocitie's most viewed sites we find this site. this site has a crypto miner on it, just so i'm not making up claims without proof here. there is also a very populated #crypto tag on neocities (has porn in it tho so be warned...).
---------------------------------------
dynamic/server-side web hosting
$5/mo for neocities premium seems cheap until you realize... The Beautiful World of Server-side Web Hosting!
client-side AKA static web hosting (neocities, geocities) means you can upload images, audio, video, and other files that do not interact with the server where the website is hosted, like html, css, and javascript. the user reading your webpage does not send any information to the server like a username, password, their favourite colour, etc. - any variables handled by scripts like javascript will be forgotten when the page is reloaded, since there's no way to save it to the web server. server-side AKA dynamic web hosting can utilize any script like php, ruby, python, or perl, and has an SQL database to store variables like the aforementioned that would have previously had nowhere to be stored.
there are many places in 2024 you can host a website for free, including: infinityfree (i use this for my test websites :B has tons of subdomains to choose from) [unlimited sites, 5gb/unlimited storage], googiehost [1 site, 1gb/1mb storage], freehostia [5 sites/1 database, 250mb storage], freehosting [1 site, 10gb/unlimited storage]
if you want more features like extra websites, more storage, a dedicated e-mail, PHP configuration, etc, you can look into paying a lil shmoney for web hosting: there's hostinger (this is my promocode so i get. shmoney. if you. um. 🗿🗿🗿) [$2.40-3.99+/mo, 100 sites/300 databases, 100gb storage, 25k visits/mo], a2hosting [$1.75-12.99+/mo, 1 site/5 databases, 10gb/1gb storage], and cloudways [$10-11+/mo, 25gb/1gb]. i'm seeing people say to stay away from godaddy and hostgator. before you purchase a plan, look up coupons, too! (i usually renew my plan ahead of time when hostinger runs good sales/coupons LOL)
here's a big webhost comparison chart from r/HostingHostel circa jan 2024.
---------------------------------------
domain names
most of the free website hosts will give you a subdomain like yoursite.has-a-cool-website-69.org, and usually paid hosts expect you to bring your own domain name. i got my domain on namecheap (enticing registration prices, mid renewal prices), there's also porkbun, cloudflare, namesilo, and amazon route 53. don't use godaddy or squarespace. make sure you double check the promo price vs. the actual renewal price and don't get charged $120/mo when you thought it was $4/mo during a promo, certain TLDs (endings like .com, .org, .cool, etc) cost more and have a base price (.car costs $2,300?!?). look up coupons before you purchase these as well!
namecheap and porkbun offer something called "handshake domains," DO NOT BUY THESE. 🤣🤣🤣 they're usually cheaper and offer more appealing, hyper-specific endings like .iloveu, .8888, .catgirl, .dookie, .gethigh, .♥, .❣, and .✟. I WISH WE COULD HAVE THEM but they're literally unusable. in order to access a page using a handshake domain, you need to download a handshake resolver. every time the user connects to the site, they have to provide proof of work. aside from it being incredibly wasteful, you LITERALLY cannot just type in the URL and go to your own website, you need to download a handshake resolver, meaning everyday internet users cannot access your site.
---------------------------------------
hosting a static site on a dynamic webhost
you can host a static (html/css/js only) website on a dynamic web server without having to learn PHP and SQL! if you're coming from somewhere like neocities, the only thing you need to do is configure your website's properties. your hosting service will probably have tutorials to follow for this, and possibly already did some steps for you. you need to point the nameserver to your domain, install an SSL certificate, and connect to your site using FTP for future uploads. FTP is a faster, alternative way to upload files to your website instead of your webhost's file upload system; programs like WinSCP or FileZilla can upload using FTP for you.
if you wanna learn PHP and SQL and really get into webdev, i wrote a forum post at Mysidia Adoptables here, tho it's sorted geared at the mysidia script library itself (Mysidia Adoptables is a free virtual pet site script, tiny community. go check it out!)
---------------------------------------
file storage & backups
a problem i have run into a lot in my past like, 20 years of internet usage (/OLD) is that a site that is free, has a small community, and maybe sounds too good/cheap to be true, has a higher chance of going under. sometimes this happens to bigger sites like tinypic, photobucket, and imageshack, but for every site like that, there's like a million of baby sites that died with people's files. host your files/websites on a well-known site, or at least back it up and expect it to go under!
i used to host my images on something called "imgjoe" during the tinypic/imageshack era, it lasted about 3 years, and i lost everything hosted on there. more recently, komaedalovemail had its webpages hosted here on tumblr, and tumblr changed its UI so custom pages don't allow javascript, which prevented any new pages from being edited/added. another test site i made a couple years ago on hostinger's site called 000webhost went under/became a part of hostinger's paid-only plans, so i had to look very quickly for a new host or i'd lose my test site.
if you're broke like me, looking into physical file storage can be expensive. anything related to computers has gone through baaaaad inflation due to crypto, which again, I Freaquing Hate, and is killing mother nature. STOP MINING CRYPTO this is gonna be you in 1 year
...um i digress. ANYWAYS, you can archive your websites, which'll save your static assets on The Internet Archive (which could use your lovely donations right now btw), and/or archive.today (also taking donations). having a webhost service with lots of storage and automatic backups can be nice if you're worried about file loss or corruption, or just don't have enough storage on your computer at home!
if you're buying physical storage, be it hard drive, solid state drive, USB stick, whatever... get an actual brand like Western Digital or Seagate and don't fall for those cheap ones on Amazon that claim to have 8,000GB for $40 or you're going to spend 13 days in windows command prompt trying to repair the disk and thenthe power is gong to go out in your shit ass neighvborhood and you have to run it tagain and then Windows 10 tryes to update and itresets the /chkdsk agin while you're awayfrom town nad you're goig to start crytypting and kts just hnot going tot br the same aever agai nikt jus not ggiog to be the saeme
---------------------------------------
further webhosting options
there are other Advanced options when it comes to web hosting. for example, you can physically own and run your own webserver, e.g. with a computer or a raspberry pi. r/selfhosted might be a good place if you're looking into that!
if you know or are learning PHP, SQL, and other server-side languages, you can host a webserver on your computer using something like XAMPP (Apache, MariaDB, PHP, & Perl) with minimal storage space (the latest version takes up a little under 1gb on my computer rn). then, you can test your website without needing an internet connection or worrying about finding a hosting plan that can support your project until you've set everything up!
there's also many PHP frameworks which can be useful for beginners and wizards of the web alike. WordPress is one which you're no doubt familiar with for creating blog posts, and Bluehost is a decent hosting service tailored to WordPress specifically. there's full frameworks like Laravel, CakePHP, and Slim, which will usually handle security, user authentication, web routing, and database interactions that you can build off of. Laravel in particular is noob-friendly imo, and is used by a large populace, and it has many tutorials, example sites built with it, and specific app frameworks.
---------------------------------------
addendum: storing sensitive data
if you decide to host a server-side website, you'll most likely have a login/out functionality (user authentication), and have to store things like usernames, passwords, and e-mails. PLEASE don't launch your website until you're sure your site security is up to snuff!
when trying to check if your data is hackable... It's time to get into the Mind of a Hacker. OWASP has some good cheat sheets that list some of the bigger security concerns and how to mitigate them as a site owner, and you can look up filtered security issues on the Exploit Database.
this is kind of its own topic if you're coding a PHP website from scratch; most frameworks securely store sensitive data for you already. if you're writing your own PHP framework, refer to php.net's security articles and this guide on writing an .htaccess file.
---------------------------------------
but. i be on that phone... :(
ok one thing i see about straw.page that seems nice is that it advertises the ability to make webpages from your phone. WYSIWYG editors in general are more capable of this. i only started looking into this yesterday, but there ARE source code editor apps for mobile devices! if you have a webhosting plan, you can download/upload assets/code from your phone and whatnot and code on the go. i downloaded Runecode for iphone. it might suck ass to keep typing those brackets.... we'll see..... but sometimes you're stuck in the car and you're like damn i wanna code my site GRRRR I WANNA CODE MY SITE!!!
↑ code written in Runecode, then uploaded to Hostinger. Runecode didn't tell me i forgot a semicolon but Hostinger did... i guess you can code from your webhost's file uploader on mobile but i don't trust them since they tend not to autosave or prompt you before closing, and if the wifi dies idk what happens to your code.
---------------------------------------
ANYWAYS! HAPPY WEBSITE BUILDING~! HOPE THIS HELPS~!~!~!

Get to know you - Sims Style
Thanks @descendantdragfi here and @obscurus-noctem here for tagging me! ❤️
What’s your favorite Sims death? Every death is hilarious--fire and drowning are iconic, ofc. My fave sims GHOST, however, is the Haunted one from SN, and the Hologram one from ITF.
Alpha CC or Maxis Match? Alpha CC. I don't mind Maxis Match in TS3, but EFF NO in TS4--get that clayfied crap out of my face, alpha all the waaaaaay~!
Do you cheat your sims weight? YES, I use a weight gain mod.
Do you move objects? MOOOOOOOO! 🐄🐮
Favorite Mod? I juuuuust made a whole post drooling over my faves.
First Expansion/Game Pack/Stuff Pack? TS1 Makin Magic. Iconic.
Do you pronounce live mode like aLIVE or LIVing? aLIVE.
Who’s your favorite sim that you’ve made? My avatar sim, Sakura Rain, the time-traveling Japanese cherry-tree faery of the Unseelie Court. (She's inspired by all my fave pink-haired anime characters.)
Have you made a simself? Yes, but only when I play The Sims with my family members, and we take turns making each other and our home. It's so much fun.
Which is your favorite EA hair color? White. Especially after TS4 came out with no CASt or color wheel and I couldn't even recreate my main sims like wtf. I have a type, EA!
Favorite EA hair? PFFT! 🙄 I can't stand most of the hairs EA makes in general, especially not the ones for male sims, as most of mine have very long hair.
Favorite life stage? Young adult, by default. But as more mods have been made for kids (No Stretch, Child Magic, Toddler Interactions) I have been enjoying child sims FAR more than I used to.
Are you a builder or are you in it for the gameplay? I'm a builder--that's how I got into TS1 way back in the day. I like decorating interiors--my exteriors are usually sad, I suck at using CFE--and just cluttering up my lots. As a fandom-inspired storyteller, I rely on in-game interactions to give my sims the poses/scenes I need, so having deep and immersive gameplay that allows me to recreate whatever fandoms I want is key.
Are you a CC creator? Unfortunately.
Do you have any Simblr friends or a Sim Squad? A "sim squad"???
Do you have any sims merch? No, but I want one of those plumbbob headbands so I can dress up as a sim on Halloween. XD
Do you have a Youtube for sims? Technically no. I got into making TS3 machinimas inspired by my favorite music a few years ago, and would upload them to Youtube cuz that's what everyone did, but omfg all the recent changes in copyright and music policies has made it SUCH a headache uploading ANYWHERE--including Tumblr!
Like, my most recent IWTV insp. machinima on Tumblr has that stupid Copyright Guidelines thumbnail on it, even though Tumblr ACCEPTED the video and let it go through--it plays! It's not removed, so wtf??? No matter how many times I tried reuploading it I got the same problem--this BS is more trouble than it's worth, tbh.
How has your “Sims style” changed throughout your years of playing? My gameplay will always look a bit pudding, but I think/hope I'm getting better at recreating different fandoms, and getting the level of detail down just right.
Who’s your favorite CC creator? It takes a village. There is no ONE creator--especially since all my OG faves retired a long time ago: Luna, @qingshuangtongzi, Hekate999, etc. And new simmers pop up everyday that blow my mind, so yeah, it's just the community at large, really. 💚💚💚
How long have you had Simblr? 2013--this July will make it a full decade. Tumblr's trash but it's also the absolute best, LOL.
How do you edit your pictures? I suck at editing--in GIMP I just tweak the "Curves" brightness & saturation when the in-game lighting is hot garbage, then call it a win.
What expansion/ gamepack is your favorite? (TS1) Makin Magic, (TS2) Apartment Life & Night Life are tied for witches & vampires, (TS3) Supernatural, (TS4) Vampires. Like, Supernatural changed my life, I seriously doubt I'd've kept playing TS3 as long as I have without SN. I also love World Adventures and Into the Future of course, but Supernatural gave us Witches, Faeries, Werewolves, (I'm not even gonna talk about TS3's busted Vampires like how the EFF were they "updated" or "fixed" when we STILL didn't get a functional coffin, like what frikkin vampire would sleep on a frikkin altar exposed to the sunlight like a effing BUFFOON, EA?!) and all kinds of fanciful content that I just can't live without. Hands down. 🧙🪄🧙♀️✨

Sucks the internet is a mess and that finding all fanart and videos get lost because a websites filtering and tagging is shit, ex: tumblr, youtube, twitter. So much 2012 homestuck art I'll never see again. I'll miss all those now deleted comic dubs even if they were cringe. Say what you want about Shelby but I wish more of her art got saved. It SUCKS, either people hide art or nuke their galleries, it feels like no one has a legitimate gallery anymore, no one wants to use a proper art website anymore i guess i can't blame them since everyone wants content streamlined towards them rather than searching and Deviantart is unbearable to use with its new awful layout. No one likes newgrounds. I don't like the new internet, i feel like i have to archive every video i watch and every art i see or else it'll get deleted, privated, or lost. All I'm trying to find today is a wonder of wonder art vid that had Caliborn in it and i cant fucking find it and it was posted like a year ago AAAAAAAAHHHH
Blame the Tumblr purge for trying to make sure nobody uploads female-presenting nipples. There are people that like Newgrounds (me being a long time user who browsed it many years back), but some people hate it for things like political beliefs, edgey humor, etc despite it is one oldest sources of Internet culture. Pixiv is limiting content for certain countries to try and comply each nation's policy and we even got credit card companies limiting us on buying stuff from overseas that we will have to use VPNs. Then there's the copyright thing that on YouTube. Old vids that has copyrighted audio is now silenced no matter the context used for having it, thus ruining the video that was uploaded years back. And for some that deleted their gallery or work, most want to move on from the series they had once liked. So they purge all works and continue with the next new thing they like. Perhaps the fandom or series itself, left a bad taste in their mouths that they don't want to be associated with it anymore. Move on to better things and expand new stuff. Octopimp's statement of why he doesn't make HS vids anymore is an example of this. A series like Homestuck, doesn't give off the same motivation or spark that it once had. Even the new shit like HS2/Beyond Canon, can barely invoke any feeling, both good or bad, to make content about it.

Gosh, I get so nostalgic about the MLP fandom. I miss it. I’m going to go on a bit of a ramble, sorry:
I wasn't all that active in the fandom, having stopped watching the show at around the time season 3 aired, but I do remember I originally made my tumblr account in 2011 to follow MLP ask blogs.
I've described the MLP fandom in the past as "the last hurrah" of the old internet. It was so welcoming and full of creativity and positive energy.
There's so many differences between the fandom experience then and now that I can't think of them all, and I'm not sure how many of them were inevitable. The internet itself has become bigger in terms of population but so much smaller in terms of sites we visit and diversity of content (no more flash games :( ). While there was a "hub" for the MLP fandom found in Equestria Daily (which I followed by RSS rather than on social media) there were plenty of other sites out there. Ponybooru and later derpibooru for images; active places for discussion on ponychan, reddit, 4chan, and a load of small forums too; active communities on twitter and tumblr; people uploading a variety of creations to deviantart and youtube and soundcloud; plenty of independent blogs that posted podcasts and reviews. Heck, dedicated websites specifically designed for pony fanfic were created, separate from FF.net and AO3.
These days pretty much everything would be concentrated on social media giants. Twitter for community and discussion and following the news and artists, reddit for better formatted discussion threads. Think about it: if you want to ask a question about a cool game you just played and you find a largeish subreddit called /r/gamename you're going to ask there. If you don't like the moderation? You're hardly going to be able to found a /r/gamename2 and expect it to become popular. How would you even advertise it? But on the old internet independent forums could and did coexist without one of them sucking all of the oxygen out of the room. Not to mention those forums actually had a community. Reddit isn't the best place for building communities since the size of the website is too big. On twtter you might have a circle of mutuals but there's always the risk that a tweet will leave its intended audience and draw the ire of randos.
Another difference is the structure of internet communities. People used to share art or make videos for fun, to be a part of the community. The community structure was much flatter; except for mods or admins on forums no user was privileged over others and they posted what they wanted. These days, your posts don't matter unless you have loads of followers or subscribers. Artists were an important part of the community, but they were not structurally more important, if that makes sense. If a newbie joined and posted art a lack of "followers" wouldn't cause it to go unnoticed.
On a similar note to the above, everything is much more explicitly about money now. It's really hard to phrase this without making it sound like I don't think artists should be paid, but when there's lots of posts saying "support me on patreon" it just feels kind of... soulless? I want to see people share things due to their passion - which they can and should get money for if they are able! don't get me wrong! But once the financial incentive is there it has an insidious effect on the culture as a whole. People will get into producing the art in the first place because there's money in it, instead of producing it anyway and happening to monetise it. Or you might see artists follow the money, drawing characters who are currently popular. Artists that aren't in it for the money will draw the one character they like over and over and over again. I enjoy the second kind of artist's art more, because there's passion behind it. I sometimes rewatch youtube videos from the late 00's that I remember. There is no "like and subscribe", they aren't padded out to be be 10 minutes and 1 second long so they get more ad revenue. The videos are made because they wanted to make it, and it was just as long as it needed to be. The stuff that was created back then just feels less bullshitty. Meanwhile these days "artists" and "musicians" and "authors" are all bundled together into the sickeningly corporate phrase that is "content creator" because their work is what is valued, rather than them as people. I want my communities to centre around people, not "content".
And because money is involved, you have to make sure advertisers are happy. That's why everywhere is so sanitised now. Fewer places allow NSFW content. Places are quick to ban anything too controversial in case the skittish investors flee. There was just something soooo liberating about browsing tumblr back in the day and see porn in the same tags as the moodboards and discussions. Seeing people actively giving each other shoplifting tips. Sharing links to torrents in the open. Not only that but you could send anonymous asks without being logged in, browse people's "archive" pages without being logged in. Things like this are slowly being removed and the place slowly but surely feels much less free.
There are some causes for the change in the way the internet works that we can definitely pin down.
The internet becoming more widespread and instantly accessible due to smartphones becoming ubiquitous. It it only takes a few seconds to pop out an angry tweet you can do so, but before if you had to wait until you were home and log on to your PC first you might realise before you posted anything that it doesn't matter after all.
Apple not supporting Flash on iOS devices. Okay, Flash wasn't the biggest or most important thing online, but it was one mode of expression that no longer exists (or at least, not unless you only want to reach people like me who still like to seek that stuff out)
Google killing Reader. This happened 10 years ago. I still haven't forgiven them. This is the point where my opinion of Google went from "company that makes cool stuff that I can use :o" to "just another company that doesn't care". RSS readers still exist, but they're not nearly as widely used as they used to be. Another contributor to the decline of RSS was twitter dropping support for it at around the same time so that you could no longer follow a twitter account via RSS. Probably because they (correctly, unfortunately) thought that people would just use twitter to keep up with all the articles and artists they wanted to follow. RSS was a competitor to them.
Laws being passed. Various countries have passed laws that made hosting web content much harder to do. Whether it be copyright related or trying to stop harassment, lots of places stopped allowing user generated content to avoid liability or started being much more restrictive about what they allowed.
Discovery is now driven more by "the algorithm" than by seeking things out or word-of-mouth. Viral used to mean something that was so compelling that the people who saw it decided to pass it on. It spread between people like a virus. Now, something only needs to be promoted by an algorithm enough to be considered viral. In fact, last year I decided to check out if some of the videos I remember watching in the early days of the MLP fandom were still around. They were still there! but they only had like, 6k views. I was shocked at this. Today I wouldn't bother watching a video unless it has over 100k views because I unconsciously judge things by how many views they have on the youtube search page. Compare to 10 years ago when I discovered youtube videos not through youtube itself but from links on other websites. This is a change to the way the internet worked that was so gradual I didn't even notice it happened. And because of that, it's hard to explain to people who didn't experience the internet before what it was like. I've also seen it suggested that this is what caused people to stop curating their internet experience. Now it's something that's curated for you by someone/something else. And if someone came across something they didn't like, they were more likely to want it banned rather than just ignoring and moving on.
Politics. 2016 saw both the US and UK become incredibly polarised, and I wouldn't be surprised if other countries had similar experiences. While this may partially due to other factors rather than a factor in and of itself, it's bled into pretty much all of social media and kind of become unavoidable. "I don't want to talk politics" is seen by some as taking the "other" side in a debate. No! Fandom is my escapism! I want to talk about things and not be reminded of the horrors of reality.
Ramble over. That sure was a stream of consciousness. I just have a lot to say about how the old internet felt and how I preferred it that way. It wasn’t perfect but it was easier to avoid toxicity, I feel. Which is ironic considering a lot of changes to laws/terms of service are made in order to tackle toxic behaviour and yet we’ve been left in a much worse place overall.
the show: an all-ages fictional animated series that preaches inclusivity and freedom of expression, where the main villain is a puritanical witch hunter who fully believes he's in the right and is saving and protecting the innocent
the fandom: routinely witch hunts its own members for enjoying or creating content they personally do not like, fully believing that they are in the right and are saving or protecting the innocent

(I wrote a long ass paragraph for this earlier but Tumblr froze halfway and it wouldn't upload rip lets hope it works now)
ayO LADIES AND GENTLEMEN. Let me tell y'all about this insanely gorgeous girl in the pictures above.
Her name is Lauren and I met her through Tumblr. We were mutuals and I messaged her cause I thought she was so cool. I didnt think she'd reply (cause no one ever does lmao) but she did and we now talk every single day. I'm way beyond blessed to have this magnificent woman in my life.
Not only is she beautiful, but shes funny and sweet and caring and selfless and perfect and I love her with every bone in my body. She's my best friend and always knows how to make me laugh and smile and its honestly just so great.
I love how she accepts the fact that I get nervous trying to talk on the phone and is willing to wait until I work up the courage to do it. I promise we will soon, baby girl. I can't wait to talk for hours and hours.
I love how she sometimes needs reassurance because it gives me an extra reason just to go on and on about how perfect she is and how lucky I am to have met her.
I love how she sends me random videos (like that dISRESPECTFUL video of Hoseok😂💙) and pictures of the boys that she thinks I'll enjoy, or even just a little message telling me she loves me. It brightens up my day.
We share a lot of similar struggles. It sucks because I can't even help myself with my own, so its hard to help her with hers. If given the chance, I would heal her before me. In a heartbeat.
We sometimes plan what we're gonna do when we first meet irl. We both say different things but it always finds its way back to us sitting inside watching bts videos all day😂. Pretty typical, but it sounds perfect to me💙
I could go on and on about this girl. She means the absolute world to me and I would be so lost without her. I love you more than you will ever know, baby girl. I promise we will meet some day... Some day SOON!!!!

If you have time, let's talk about a tsukkiyama youtuber au where Yamaguchi's new video becomes the number one trending video for three days straight and it's a new record in the history of YouTube (I'm exaggerating but lol).
So Tsukki is a popular and famous youtuber and he suddenly gets a notice of a new uploaded video from a person he followed way back in middle school and it's been like 10 years?
Tsukki and yamaguchi are kind of friends on youtube because they were each others first followers. However, yamaguchi starts getting a lot of hate and bullying for being ugly so he quit. Some kids even uploaded a video of them bullying yamaguchi. The video has been taken down many years ago but many people still talk about it today. Let's just say that that was the video that led tsukki to stardom. He made a 30 min long video ranting about people being jerks and bullies and how pathetic it was. That was many years ago and now tsukki is very famous and popular and blah blah blah. But then one night, sometime around 1 in the morning, he gets a notification if a new video and he's kind of puzzled because even though he's very tired, he knows it's not from one of his friends as shitty as they are.
Kuroo actually doesn't really like to stay up past a certain bedtime because of kenma's weird sleep schedule, Bokuto’s probably too busy cuddling with akaashi, kagehina sleeps like rocks so it can't be them, oikawa has priorities and sleep is one of them, and Tanaka and Noya couldn't have done this since tsukki knows for a fact that they were over at ennoshita's place and that usually means business.
Surprisingly, it's from ne if his old time youtube friend. He wonders if it's a fluke ir something but the video in front of him looks very real so he clicks on it.
He doesn't go to sleep until 3:15 because of the goddamn ninjas cutting onions.
Yamaguchi has gotten so much more beautiful than what Tsukishina last remebers of him. After that bullying incident Yana deleted all if his videos but Tsukki still followed him. Why? Even he doesn't know.
It's an hour 24 minutes and 56 seconds and tsukishima should know because he's the 1000 soon to be 2000 views on Yamaguchi's video.
In the video he talks of depression and bullying. How his life has been so far and how proud he is to finally say that he loves himself and he's fine the way he is. He likes college wvwn though it's scary volleyball is fun. His photo book is cute as shit and Tsukki screenshot every baby picture he comes across because he didn't know a crush from middle school can come back. He talks about his family life and how he can't change his parents divorce but could only support them and their decisions. He talks about a lot of things. He talks about dogs and how much he loves them. And he just rambles on and in but Tsukki is so entranced.
Also, yamaguchi mentions him and he is on cloud nine.
When he wakes up, his inbox is filled with thousands of comments and questions. His phone is filled with missed calls, texts, and voice mails. He can only sigh and hope that he can get through the day.
(He does get through the day when he reads what people has to say about his relationship with Yamaguchi or seeing his friends make reaction videos and the whole thing being about how beautiful Yamaguchi is or asking if freckles is taken cause tsukki is single and lonely and in need of a loving, caring relationship.)
