This is very random– BUT I wanted to talk a little bit more about Luka and his obsession with his darling. ((I'll be posting the Luka kidnapping Kairos and darling fic next. :3c But I wanted to get this out first.))

Luka isn’t used to feeling such strong emotions. Throughout most of his life, nothing has really made him feel much of anything. Getting perfect grades? Whatever. Going out on dates? He just did it because he could, not because he had any real interest in people. Winning a competition or getting into fights? A little exciting, sure, but the feeling fades pretty fast.

But when it comes to you..? He feels something indescribable. And it’s intense.

At first, he doesn’t really understand it. Why is his heart tightening in his chest? Why does his face feel so warm? Why is it hard to look you in the eyes? Why are you constantly on his mind?? He’ll never express these things to you, he’s amazing at hiding it, but his feelings for you are making him go crazy.

In the beginning, he’ll start stalking your social media without realizing it. Every time he’s at work and has a moment to spare, his hands will instinctively pull out his phone and open your profile. He checks to see if you've posted anything– and if you haven’t, he’ll settle for rereading your conversations, if you’ve ever had any with him. Honestly, it’s embarrassing, but he just can’t stop himself. It’s addicting. His heart skips a beat when he sees that you’ve shared something.

…Again, highly embarrassing for him.

Then the next stage rolls in: he gets your pictures printed and frames them in his house and on his work desk. Seeing your face always calms him down and makes him feel warm inside. The more stressful days at work now hardly affect him, all thanks to you… And now he doesn’t feel so disheartened when he returns to his empty home.

Then the third stage rolls around: he needs to see you multiple times a week. It’s similar to the way he checks his phone; he doesn’t realize it as his legs instinctually start to carry him wherever he thinks he may find you. He needs to know if you’re safe– needs to know that you’re happy and nothing bad is going on… Those are his excuses, anyway. He’s not exactly sure why he loves watching and following you, but he just does. He also does genuinely love the idea of being your protector, though.

Possessing you, protecting you, spoiling and loving you each and every day… He wants to do it all. Just for you.

But deep down, Luka’s constantly fighting himself. He has to learn to control his urges and manage his emotions… After all, since he’s never experienced such intense feelings before, he’s never learned how to cope with them. Seeing you being around other men makes his blood boil; he’s had to research ways to cope with his rage. Now he just listens to music and goes on runs, trying his hardest to not seek revenge on the innocent people you talk to.

Luka has never yearned for something so badly before. When he goes to bed at night, he finds himself longing to have you in his arms… It becomes almost impossible to sleep. 

How cute it would be to see you wearing his clothes to bed… How nice it would be to see you crawl next to him and give him a kiss goodnight as he wraps his arms around you, holding you close to him. Deep down, he didn’t really think he’d ever feel it– he almost thought love was just a myth. When people told him that love is a wonderful feeling unlike any other, he thought they were lying. Now he doesn’t want to let you go… He can’t, he just can’t. He doesn’t think he could feel this way about anyone (or anything) ever again.

Once Luka has finally realized that he needs you more than anything, he’ll stop being ashamed of his actions. He will have already been a little bit close to you– he talks to you sometimes, but he’s remained somewhat distant up until now. He can’t keep the gap between you any longer.

(Also, Luka sort of just adopts your interests too, as he doesn’t really have too many of his own.)

When Luka first tries to court you, he’ll be an extreme gentleman. He always pays all the restaurant bills, holds doors open for you and drives you everywhere. Although, to be honest, he does this even after the beginning stages… He just likes to spoil his darling in general.

For a show that is so simple as Live in Love, I sure do have a lot of wild ass theories about these color-coded folks (in love?) after only two episodes.

First Theory: Boss Likes Kla

Kla, the main character, is a Blue Boy.

And last week, the series showed that Kla seemed to have had a crush on his friend Boss in high school, so when they met in the present, it was awkward, but Boss is now dating the female friend he liked from before, so . . . why does Boss have blue over his heart when he meets Kla again, ALONE, and offers him a job?

Sus, Boss!

Second Theory: GL Sides

Cake, the main love interest, is a Pink Person.

He has a lovely family comprised of a color-coded brother, an adorable mom, and the dad from the Thai Addicted Heroin.

Kla likes this Pink Person.

He likes him so much that he wasn't even terrified of Cake showing up to the live looking like this.

And he gets jealous when Cake goes out with his friends since he knows Cake is so adorable and will catch all the attention.

Because Kla wants to eat Cake.

Which is why Khing tries to be like Cake.

She wears pink.

And she makes treats for Kla.

But because I want a GL side couple, I think Khing doesn't go well with Kla since she isn't really a Pink Person.

Because, often, she seems to actually balance out Gina!

So . . . they're already in bed together. How much effort would it be to kiss?

Third Theory: Tim & Amp

Cake's little brother, Tim, is a Green Guy.

And he has been shown to be kinda . . . rude. Even when Gam was having a crisis in his house about his feelings for Pon, Tim basically told him to get over it and (appropriately) believed eating would be the remedy.

So although he should be a chill guy, he has shown he has some aggression in him, which could be why the red appears with the green on him.

Like even his sweater with "Pancakes" written on it in green has red text underneath it.

But maybe the red isn't just for him, but for the Red Rascal who he is supposed to berate for hassling his brother then eventually fall in love with!

Tim already bumped into Amp at orientation when Tim made Amp apologize to him, so give me this couple where the smaller one is the mean one and the taller one is the gentle one RIGHT NOW!

Not a Theory: I hate the live streams!

I like Gam and Pon, and I like that they showed up together in Kla's dream.

So when Pon showed up in real life with Dol, I was kinda pissed!

Because even if Yellow Yal Dol is there, Orange Oddity Pon must always have Cyan Cutie Gam (thanks @twig-tea) by his side like the fairy godparents they are.

And Pon finds all these small ways to constantly touch Gam and be near him.

So I thought it was hilarious that Kla consistently called out his friend for being oblivious.

And both Cake and Kla talked smack about Pon being ridiculous (because couples who gossip together, stay together).

So I was thrilled when Pon started getting jealous that Gam's entire existence doesn't revolve around him.

And I was even more excited that Pon lost his color while Gam lost his temper!

But I hated that Pon decided to start his confession ON A LIVE STREAM!

I know the name of this show, so I know I'll continue to get live streams, but if Cake and Kla's first encounter IRL is magically live streamed next week, I'm gonna riot!

Do you have any Stan headcanon??

i have a few!!!! stan's been one of my favs since season1 and i really love his character. i mostly adopt hcs from other people because i'm not very creative with them, but here are my thoughts

stan's questioned his gender since the cissy episode and he does a lot of experimenting with his gender expression and pronouns in his teens. he identifies as nonbinary but keeps using he/him pronouns and masc expression for a number of reasons (mostly because he finds it hard explaining to people), but when he's in a safe setting with other queer folks he feels more comfortable expressing his gender identity. kyle and wendy are his biggest supporters. cartman rips on him for it but ALWAYS used stan's preferred pronouns throughout his experimentation

stan is a bisexual DISASTER and finds everyone attractive. he's a flaming pussy though so he never scores. he's just like, [person] is super hot, and that's the end of it, he's already moved on. which brings me to my next hc,

his fucking commitment issues!!! stan has a crippling fear of long-term relationships, and this likely sprouted from his depression. he didn't see himself living past the age of 20 so he avoided committing to anything long-term. he most likely went to therapy for it and got a whole lot better. he committed to marrying kyle in the end. good for him

i hc stan as being a music production major or something in college. i like to think he dreams of having a world-famous rock band

we know he has addictive tendencies, it's part of his character. he's canonically seen drinking, smoking, hoarding and spending all the family's money on that mobile game. his addictions start ruining his life so the guys have an intervention and get him to rehab before he fucking dies. he gets better :) might relapse but dw about it

stan's been wildly in love with kyle since the dawn of time. he's always on his mind. the 'thinkin about kyle 24/7' type of love. he's so afraid of confessing to kyle to the point it makes him sick, his biggest fear is ruining their friendship. it's not until highschool kyle starts picking up on it and returning the feelings. there's no big confession, just a passionate and life-changing kiss on stan's bed after school one day. stan cries immediately afterwards because he's so happy

some thoughts about trolls 2 that came to me after watching trolls 3.

like...I get it had a big metaphore about how pop kindof takes over everything and forgets the origins of where those songs came from....and the contrast with how the pop trolls books said everyone started to not get along/became less tolerant of other's musics...while the space alien funk trolls said that everything was fine butthen the pop trolls wanted to take overand everyone seperated to protect their strings from the pop trolls...but I kindof lowkey wonder if it was a bit of both? like there werecracks were they were becoming less tolerant and in a poor attempt to bring everyone together the pop trolls thought pop was the best way like barb and poppy kind of did?

but I kind of feel like they gloss over that the pop trolls were isolated and separated from the forest or ways to meet the other trolls? them not knowing there were other trolls and forgetting about the origins of their music makes WAY more sense because they were isolated and being abused and eaten by the Bergens for ages.

So on one hand...I understand its a metaphor for how pop has worked in real life because its so popular and becomes a ear worm...but it also feels a bit unfair because pop always feels like because its so popular it gets isolated out on purpose....

like Poppy feels bd not knowing the true history....and that apparently the pop trolls history lied about a bad thing they did which cause the split......but I also cant help but wonder..wouldn't it make sense for the pop trolls to not have a complete history anyway if they were forced to all live in one tree/garden? if so many of them were being eaten/killed? did any of them escape and try to ask for help? wouldn't it make sense if they had lost a good section of their history because they were literally being harvested? and isn't that a bit unfair then to judge them losing/not knowing the origin of their music/where it came from under those circumstances? I mean were hear them calling themselves just trolls with not being aware there were other types....I mean sure they might not have expected how popular the first movie would be so he different genre idea was added later..and they found a place they could hide from the bergans and still stayed isolated til the second movie.

I keep wondering....did the others trolls know the pop trolls were being eaten by the Bergens? If they did... why didn't they ever try to get the Pop trolls out? and if they didn't why did they all seem to know what pop was and dislike it? if other pop trolls had escaped the tree/the Bergens on an individual case basis...did none of them rely to the other trolls about all the trolls in a desperate situation in the middle of Bergen town?

Were the pop trolls being punished for having attempted to take the strings before? we know that the Happier the troll the sweeter they taste aparently...and in the third movie just absorbing the talent of a pop troll seemed to be kindof addicting.....did the other genre's of trolls let the pop trolls stay captured because it had the Bergens stay around certain areas and not go out to try to find/eat the other genre's of troll...like some type of sacrifice?

like...I lowkey kindof wish we saw some of the trolls ask if there were other trolls why they never came to help them? let the pop trolls be the most consumed because they were the most popular.

also does anyone ever thing the pop trolls and their over positivity at times is a bit of a trauma response o trying to move on from what happened by not adressing it properly?

also does anyone else think maybe pop trolls are addictive? and that the Bergens were so sad and grey after the loss of trollstice because they were also dropping from with withdrawals since they had be cautious not to eat too many because it would dwindle the supply? and why it was only after so long without eating a troll that it seemed possibly to really address that happyness wasn't just something you get from eating a troll?

and why the chef was so insistent to get the king to eat one so she could make him addicted to it?

but also if the other trolls let the Bergens be distracted by the tasty easy to consume pop trolls then the Bergens wouldn't come after them and their genre of trolls? make a comentary about how we judge Creek for not wanting to eaten personally even if it meant sacrificing everyone else to the Bergens...but if all the other troll Genres sacrificed/jusfied leaving the pop trolls to the Bergens in a similar way only with the idea it was saving more trolls after all...I'm kindof curious how they would adress the morality of it.

I also have questions of the pop trolls had escaped the Bergens in maybe two groups(the one at the golf course who were also really isolated) and the ones in the forest...I wonder how certain pop songs made it to the other genres...like the rock trolls.

if some individual pop trolls escaped and would pop in every once in a while with pop music....it just goes back to the question did they ever ask for help?

I mean we know John Dory thought everyone had died/didn't know about the escape plan. Clay ended up with the trolls that got seperated/cut off in the other tunnels...but its unclear if he was the group that got separated or he came across them later while he had escaped the tree at a early point and had heard about the escape from viva....so seemed to think branch had gotten away with Granny.

Did the brothers just wander around andcome across the other genre's on their own? or did the info spread while Barb's tour was happening?

his eyes go completely white when he's overcome with a vision, and he usually just. Stops wherever he is until it's over, he usually can't hear/see anything But the vision so. only talk to him when it's over or he will Not hear you!

he also has the ability of clairvoyance, which allows him to locate people/places/objects through Intense Concentration that are not close to him and/or just to See their immediate environment. usually better if he's seen it himself in person, he can Try if he's given a photo, he's just usually pretty off or just plain wrong !

he is Always wearing gloves and usually is all covered up, and physical contact is just a big No ! for him out of his fear of getting triggered for a vision

usually pretty quiet/keeps to himself/is always listening to music because it is one of his Comfort Things and if you do see him, he's either using suppressants/substances to numb himself in order to avoid the Visions but it doesn't always completely get rid of them, anyways, but his distance/general spaciness is probably because he is just Out of It !

THE BACKSTORY . . . !

as soon as he develops his powers it's very much Not Okay. the weight of seeing things happen in intervals where he either doesn't know 1) when it will happen or 2) seconds before it does renders him completely frozen in his decisions. he witnesses them change three, four, ten times in different forms of visions and gets so swept up in it all he often confuses visions for memory, memory for visions, as he always sees them in first person

he doesn't tell anyone at first, but it starts small, he doesn't want to go to school, doesn't want to go outside. he starts shying away from physical touch and affection, and limits conversations. starts wearing clothes that cover all of his skin, and gloves, and it isn't long before it starts causing Issues because he can't just completely Stop Everything to hide in his room

the only thing that really brings him solace is listening to music, and so he starts writing/making his own to kind of explore his thoughts/experiences, because the noise fills up his mind in a way that feels better than empty/just full of visions. it's the only thing that doesn't cause it to happen for him, most of the time! he starts posting his music online under the alias FLASHDRAGON, but he's really in and out about it, doesn't really pay attention to if anything kicks off (though some of it does!)

since they develop around middle school, it becomes evident really quickly that seonjae is convinced this is more of a nightmare than the blessing his parents think it is, and by the time he graduates high school his mother is Done with having to accommodate him/the fact that he can barely do anything or talk to anyone and sends him to be with his aunt, farther out from the city and away from everything he's known

he's felt like a burden for years, and figures it's probably better even though leaving his twin eunjae behind is one of the hardest things he's ever done, even though he's convinced its the better thing to do

things with his aunt go well for awhile until they don't, and his aunt really wants nothing to do with him, either. he doesn't help around the house, doesn't make money, and doesn't go out, either, and fed up from years of just Being a Burden and Knowing It, he ends up leaving in the middle of the night

up until then, he's been pretty adamant on finding something to take to suppress his ability to try and function, but it doesn't always completely take his visions away, maybe lessens the frequency of them at best, but he still can't touch objects/people without usually at least getting one

they're expensive, and usually if he can't get his hands on something to nullify his ability, he usually turns to absolutely anything else to try and handle it, and doesn't care about the effects as long as it makes it easier to deal with the Visions

sometimes he pays for it using his clairvoyance to find something/somebody for those he's getting it from, but it's all he has to go off of as he kind of works his way around/surfs couches/sleeps on park benches. he can't keep jobs and he can't keep a place without any money and he needs it for the suppressants, so he does what he can to get by

he's like this for awhile until eunjae finds him one day and brings him back to the second chance collective, and he's so happy to be reunited with her after being away for the several years it's been that he convinces himself he's going to not mess This up too, and agrees to letting his information get shared to lessen the amount of money for the apartment so he can be close to her again

so he's in therapy! and he gets a job at nite rite convenience because of the late hours/limited human contact to try and make some money for his continued habits because he isn't too convinced he can handle his visions completely sober and hasn't done so in years, anyways and he's Scared !

and he's back to making music, now that he's got his own room again! its the only two resident complaints he's gotten in the three months he's been here, was that he was playing his music too loud to drown out the Horrors :/

THE PLOTS . . . !

you've heard/listened to his music and he's literally never met anyone before that's heard it and he's like . surprised that you relate/like it, and he's never shared it before with someone so it's just Personal, but he shares like, music he's never posted b/c he didn't like it, etc, it becomes an Activity that he shows you new stuff of his !

you just like listening to music in general and you'll listen to music with him in Silence and you both share music back and forth and it's very Nice, and he appreciates just the simplicity of communicating through music because it's the easiest way he knows how to connect with others !

you come into nite rite convenience so often he knows your name and what you usually like to get. you make small talk, it's easy, maybe you both figure out you live at the collective but you just hadn't run into each other before and it goes from there !

if you are looking for .. substances ,, he is willing to share . anything to avoid the horrors he Gets it .

if YOU have substances or you know of someone who does then . he is saving contacts !!

he accidentally brushes up against you/touches an object of importance to you and gets a vision of your future and so he feels like he Has to tell you, and maybe he's afraid of what he sees/has never spoken to you before/is nervous about your reaction but he can't not tell you, and so he tries to figure out how to do that without looking Crazy that he knows this about you / you even believing him in the first place .

you are looking for someone/something and you come to him to see if he can find out where they are/see how they are but you only have a photo/object of theirs and he keeps getting it incredibly wrong but he's sticking it out with you to keep trying until you do

anything!! enemies, friends, they keep bumping into each other wtf, he crashed on your couch once, you have beef with him because once he didn't pay for something/has a debt with you and he owes you and he remembers he Promises, he's going to get the money soon !!

15. Wind Breaker

For me, the story is aight, but really I just think it's pure fun. The characters have cool designs and cool personalities plus the fights are fun! It's really that simple for me. The animation is sooo smooth for the fights and action.

14. Erased

The only reason why I don't consider this one a masterpiece is because I didn't love the ending. Everything leading up to that is a brilliant mystery thriller story. It's extremely addicting once you start. I think it does a brilliant job of getting you emotionally attached to the outcome. It's a short story that keeps you at the edge of your seat until it's done.

13. Neon Genesis Evangelion

This started out as a boring, old mecha anime for me and then the sudden dark shift to more psychological and philosophical issues of the characters made me fall in love. I still think about it a lot. This hit so deep it affected my own mental state after finishing it. Like damn, I related too hard. This is a classic for a reason, but it hits harder if you relate I'd say. The animation is such a vibe as well. So many shots I'd look at and be like "dang, I want to draw that" or "that'd be a sick gif" so yeah. Amazinggg animation. Amazing anime.

12. Cowboy Bebop

Cowboy Bebop was the first anime I ever liked. I was introduced to it by my cousin when I'd sleep over and we'd be watching Adult Swim all night together. I do hold some nostalgia for it, but also it holds up well in all aspects (story, animation, OST, characters). The animation in this show is probably my favorite in all anime. It's such a vibe. It's probably the anime I rewatch the most just because I always throw it on for the vibes. Plus, I love the sci fi setting.

11. Jujutsu Kaisen

I watched s1 of JJK like a couple of years ago and then watching S2 while I was sick in bed with the flu late last year is what got me into anime fully. I don't think JJK has the strongest story out there, but the characters being cool looking and likable plus the cool ass fights are why I adore this show. MAPPA really cooked with the fights. This is the first anime I had to read the manga ASAP after I finished the anime. Yeah, that's about it. It's just a really dope show with sick fights and sick characters.

10. 86 Eighty-Six

Okay, I've let this one sit in my mind for a few weeks before updating my rankings and it's absolutely gotta be top 10.

It's such an incredible story with a beautiful OST. This actually is one of the anime that hit the hardest/deepest emotionally for me in a similar manner to Attack on Titan. I find that funny because Hiroyuki Sawano made the OST for both. It's not just the music though, the story is impressively profound. It deals with topics such as government corruption, discrimination, racism, and war extremely well. I particularly loved the journey of Shin's reasoning to continue to fight and exist. Additionally, Major Milize's journey to make a difference and fight despite her privilege made for a great character arc. I think this has one of my all time favorite endings out of all media, it feels perfect after everything we experience each character go through. This really is an incredible story, one of the very best I've watched.

9. Death Note

I'm actually surprised at how much I enjoyed Death Note. Like, I know it's beloved by so many, but I had tried it years ago and dropped it (probs due to my undiagnosed ADHD at the time). Regardless, it's fuckin good. There's so much tension and scheming that kept me absolutely hooked. I love the psychological war between Light and L. L might be one of the best characters out there. The only reason why it isn't in my top 5 I'd say is because I don't love the ending. I think the stronger points were before a major thing happens that I think anyone that's watched knows what I'm talking about. With that said, I still had a good time watching the whole thing. If the ending had stuck then this could have easily been one of the GOATs and a masterpiece, but regardless, it's still very much worth watching and I still loved it.

8. Fruits Basket

I have a history w/ this story. I lowkey watched the early 00s version of this like way back in junior high maybe? or high school? I remember loving it, but not finishing it. I had forgotten most of the story over the years and forgotten it even existed for all these years. The only things I can remember from then is that the guys turned into zodiac animals for some reason and Tohru and Kyo had a thing going on.

So, watching the 2019 version this year was such a treat. The story really hits you in the feels. I LOVE that every single character is developed strongly. Tohru is the best girl. It's just such a wonderful story with both heartbreaking and heartwarming moments throughout. I truly love this show SO much. I think I binged the final season in one day. Tohru and Kyo's slow burn romance had me DYING for more moments each episode.

7. Nana

This show emotionally damaged me. With that said, I couldn't stop watching it. I love how it follows adults trying to get their lives together in Tokyo while also dealing with relationships and other drama. Nana and Hachi's relationship was beautifully haunting. Also, I definitely viewed this as comphet (but it's still good even if you view them as platonic soulmates). I mean, both Nanas confess their love for each other in various ways throughout the whole series. It's always about their need to be in each other's lives... and that's why it hurts even more. I wish we got a true ending and I wish we got more of the happy days! The characters and their relationships are what make this show special.

6. Serial Experiments Lain

This show can get a bit absurd with what's going on and that's exactly why I love it. Sometimes it doesn't even make sense at first and you're like "what the fuck?" and those head fuck moments give me life! I love the existential questions this show asks. The psychological deep dive of figuring out one's own existence. This show was ahead of its time when dealing with the way the internet would change the world. The wired leaking into real life is such a cool concept to explore. Idk, I still feel like I am comprehending this one and a rewatch will be necessary. It has me questioning my own life and for that, I have to say it's one of my favorites!

5. Frieren: Beyond Journey's End

Well, Frieren is #1 on My Anime List for a reason. I think the first season we got was perfect in literally every single aspect when it comes to anime. Frieren has my favorite modern animation and artstyle out of everything else I've watched. It's become my comfort show. It's hard to say much more than it's just perfect. The story, the OST, the world building, the characters, the animation. It's all perfect. It's a beautiful reminder to appreciate the people in your life and to live in the moment.

4. Haikyu!!

Who would have thought a show about playing volleyball would be THIS good? There are so many hyped moments that had me tearing up out of pure joy. I found myself cheering like I was watching a real live sports match ahahah. The volleyball aspect of this show is quite accurate. It's wonderful to see each player's hard work pay off throughout the seasons/matches. Haikyuu is brilliant at character development and character interactions. It's crazy how it gets you to even feel bad, root for, and even love the players on the opposing teams. I love my main boys at Karasuno so much more though. This show can cure depression. Especially if that depression is from your irl sports team -.- lmfao.

3. The Apothecary Diaries

Okay, it might be recency bias, but I'm surprised how much I LOVED this one immediately. Something clicked for me with it. Maomao is one of my favorite protagonists in any show ever - she absolutely makes this show. Of course, the animation, soundtrack, and story are excellent as well. I thought the humorous moments were well-timed and didn't overdo it. Plus, I usually think anime humor is cringe, but this show actually had very funny moments to me. I enjoyed the mysteries of each episode and couldn't stop binging until I finished. This is definitely one of those shows that I connected with on a personal level and for that, it's immediately one of my favorites. I loved getting to see such an incredible character, who is a woman in a patriarchal society, navigate said society by using her knowledge and skills while also helping her fellow women she crossed paths with. I love so much about Maomao's personality, I'd probably write way too much if I explained why. I'm so glad we're getting season 2 soon!

2. Steins; Gate

This is one of the best stories in anime. I also think that it is the best time traveling story I have ever watched. I know people say up until episode 12 is a slow burner, but I never thought it felt that way. I could just watch all the characters do weird science experiments and random shenanigans together for a whole season or two. Plus, the building up of the mystery and tension during the first half of the show is exquisite. It all pays off in the 2nd half when shit gets crazy. Seriously, this story gets so good it's *chefs kiss* Also, the ending is great and REWARDING after all the suffering Okabe goes through. (Even more after watching Steins; Gate 0!)

1. Attack on Titan

Watching Attack on Titan was one of the rare pieces of media where I started watching because of all the hype and it still exceeded my expectations. Before I started this show, I didn't even really think I'd like it because of the dumbest reasons: I didn't like the colors and the story seemed not interesting to me at all. AND OH MAN I WAS SO WRONG! I knew by the middle of s1 that I was watching something special tbf lol.

AoT is the only anime that no other anime can even touch when it comes to brilliance imo. I keep trying to find another tv show that hits as hard for me. This is one of THE greatest stories of all time. I truly wish I could erase my memory of this show and watch it again for the first time.

It has the craziest plot twists. There's so many mysteries throughout the first 3 seasons that kept me absolutely hooked. I love how it takes an even darker and realistic turn in s4 too. It's one of the rare shows where it keeps getting better and better as it goes on. Rewatches of this show are insane as well because of all the foreshadowing that you don't recognize the first time. And to top it all off, the OST by Hiroyuki Sawano is absolutely breathtaking. I seriously can't stop listening to itttt. This has genuinely become my favorite show of all time (sorry Arc*ne, I still love you). It's insane how invested I became in the story and its characters. I still think about it daily. It has some of the PEAK moments in fiction, especially in season 3 and 4. I never thought I'd actually cry watching anime until this one; there were many moments that had me bawling. I could go on and on about this show.

TLDR?: AoT is simply a 10/10 goddamn masterpiece that everyone should watch.

After years of careful consideration, I finally have my top ten album list figured out. This list consists of albums that I consider to be of up most importance to me personally, so without further ado, here is my top ten album list (not in any specific order).

1. Youthanasia~ Megadeth

Begining with my favorite band, Megadeth's Youthanasia has taken the cake as one of my top albums of all time. It was a hard choice to make, especially since they have so many banger albums that I also really love. Rust In Peace almost made it but Youthanasia has something about it that makes me reach for it every time I want to play anything by Megadeth. Maybe it's Dave's vocals, maybe it's the more solemn nature of the album, maybe it's the colors I see when I play it, but whatever it is, I love it far more than any other Megadeth album! My personal favorite tracks are Addicted To Chaos, Youthanasia, A Toute Le Monde, and Train Of Consequences. It's a great album and I hope to get my hands on a physical copy or it soon!

2. ITCOTCK~ King Crimson

I listened to King Crimson once and I haven't been the same since. Seriously though this album introduced me to music that I never thought existed, and sent me down the rabbit hole of 70s prog rock and I will forever thank them for that. The beauty of their songs is unmatched. I have never in my life come across music like this prior to hearing In The Court Of The Crimson King. The jazzy sounds of their first track was so catching, especially since parts of it remind me of what a true jazz metal band might sound like. The chaos of it is so similar to heavy metal music yet it's so different. The sweetness of I Talk To The Wind is so similar to the autumn air to me, though I feel that's because of the flutes throughout the song. And don't get me started on Moonchild oouuggh!!! I have never hear a mellotron before but now it's one of my favorite instruments thanks to this band! The dreamlike quality of the music makes this song feel so surreal. I spoke to a mutual about it recently and told her that it reminds me of an old silent film, particularly the improv part of the song. And Epitaph!!!! Such a beautiful song! Greg Lake's vocals compliment the song so well I remember being so disappointed that he left KC when I was first getting into them. His voice is so good for this type of music and Epitaph shows that so well! And don't get me started on the title track! KC does a fantastic job at making their music so descriptive with their sound. I can actually see the procession of the Crimson King and his court! I remember once hearing that KC was heavily inspired by 20th century classical composers and if that's true, I definitely hear it. This whole album is gem!

3. Sound of Perseverance~ Death

And now we have an album by my favorite death metal band, Death! Next to Symbolic, The Sound Of Perseverance is the one Death album that I've listened to countless times on repeat. I adore not just the instrumentation, but the lyrics of the songs of this album as well. I know death metal gets a lot of shit for being incomprehensible at times, but oddly enough, you can actually understand what is being said in the songs. The vocalist has a surprisingly clear voice that can be understood. The lyrics aren't your typical death metal, cannibal corpse-esque lyrics, which is refreshing to hear from a death metal band. My personal favorites are the lyrics in Spirit Crusher and The Flesh And The Power It Holds. The instrumental arrangement though is what really catches my attention though! The beautiful tone of the guitars and the memorable baseline in Spirit Crusher!!!!! The absolute beauty of Voice Of The Soul! It's one of my favorite songs of all time and one of the biggest reasons this album is up here. The dueling sound of the guitars that seem to both be fighting each other is something that always puts me in awe and I just!!!!!!!!! Words cannot describe how much I love that song. Voice Of The Sound indeed! Of course those three aren't the only good tracks on this album, the whole album is full of banger after banger, even for someone such as myself that isn't super fond of the more extreme metals, this album is a shining gem in the dull sea of death metal! Really good and very much recommend!

4. Spreading The Disease~ Anthrax

Next up is Spreading The Disease by Anthrax, an album that I adore in both cover and sound! Seriously though the cover is so well made! Anyway, this album was the first album I heard from Anthrax and the album that got me hooked on the band! Everything from Joey's amazing vocals and the bands powerful sound just gripped my heart and ears in a way that not many metal bands do. There is something so charming yet so masterful about this album that it's hard for me to explain. I won't lie, I had my doubts when I first went into Anthrax. I did not think that goofy little band could possibly be good but boy was I wrong. I don't think there is a single song on this album I hate. Everything from tracks like Madhouse to Medusa are so good and energy inducing it's nuts. GAH I love this album a lot! I would say that Anthrax is truly the greatest embodiment of thrash metal! Goofy, but serious at times!

5. Pagan Terrorism Tactics~ Acid Bath

And here we have this little band from down in Louisiana, the sludge metal band Acid Bath! To be honest, it was hard to pick between this album and their debut album, but I noticed that I tend to play this album more, so I decided that this album deserved a spot on here more than the other. I discovered this band I think, four ish years ago now, and I have been in love with them ever since! A lot of people tend to get turned away due to their edgy, nonsensical lyrics, but that's what made me like them so much. Sure it's a little over the top at times, but I like the imagery it gives. I've hear that the bands' singer was inspired by the art of a man known as Michael Diana, and that he wanted to mimic his work in musical form, well I must say he did a good job with that, though the images I see in my head are much cleaner than that of Diana's drawings. The music is also something I fell for. I love the mix of aggression with melancholic sweetness of their songs! Songs like Locusts Spawning, New Death Sensation, and Venus Blue are just fantastic! Great album and great band!

6. Heaven And Hell~ Black Sabbath

Next is an album that I may have gotten just a little too emotionally attached to during my teen years. It's cliche, but this album got me through some tough times. I would go into detail, but it's personal. In short, I was having sort of an identity crisis and I was having some doubts about a lot of things. It didn't help that I had some... interesting people in my life that I found myself having to walk on eggshells around them. Basically it wasn't a good time for me on that end, but it was great time for me to experience a musical boom! I quickly fell in love with this band and everything about them! Tony's iconic guitar playing, Ronnie's incredible vocals, and the lyrics that make me foam at the mouth! Everything about this album is just aaaaaa! I will say I could do without the song Lady Evil. It's not bad, it just kills the vibe the album in my opinion. Other than that, I love the album to bits! If I had the option of listening to album for the first time again, I would probably choose this one.

7. Defenders Of The Faith~ Judas Priest

Now it's time for my favorite Judas Priest album, Defenders! While Judas Priest has many banger albums, Defenders is my all time favorite of theirs. Everything about this album is just so good to me! Hell, it's hard for me to even pick a track I dislike on this album since I love all of them. This is also my favorite album to play during the summer time since it's also the perfect summer album imo. It's fun, it's full of moments that aren't exactly soft, but have a gentleness to them that reminds me of the summer breeze, particularly Night Comes Down! My favorite song on this album has to be The Sentinel, but once again, all the songs on here are bangers.

8. Breakfast In America~ Supertramp

Next up is Supertramp's Breakfast In America. I never thought this pop prog band from the UK would wind up being one of my favorite bands, but Supertramp has managed to charm me with its catchy tunes and oddly relatable lyrics. Out of all their albums, this is the one that stole my heart the most. My favorite tracks are, well, it's hard for me to say considering I really enjoy all the songs on this album, and it's not very often that I come across an album like that. Definitely love Gone Hollywood, The Logical Song, Causal Conversations, and Nervous Wreck way more than the others though. I will probably be doing a more detailed post on this album since there's a lot I want to talk about but that will have to wait for later!

9. Days Of Future Passed~ The Moody Blues

And now we have Days Of Future Passed by The Moody Blues. This music is something I never thought I would enjoy. I discovered it, I believe two years ago, and I still remember the reactions from everyone around me irl when they found out I liked this album so much. It's nothing like the typical loud and aggressive heavy metal that I love. This album is soft, sweet, light hearted, and more akin to something you'd hear from early 20th century Disney movies, and I say that as a positive thing of course! All the tracks have some form of an orchestral part to them that makes me feel as though I'm watching an old Hollywood film, and I just love the voice of Justin Hayward! I also consider this album to be one of my winter time albums! I can feel the cold, sharp, winter wind everytime I listen to it, especially with the beginning track Dawn Is A Feeling! I remember listening to that song non stop when I found this album. That and Nights In White Satin. Single handedly one of my favorite love songs of all time!

10. Ten Thousand Fists~ Disturbed

And last but certainly not least, is Disturbed's Ten Thousand Fists. Since they are the band that introduced me to heavy metal to begin with, I felt they deserved the final spot on this list. I've also rediscovered my love for them recently after years of not listening to a single song of theirs. In my opinion, their music still holds up even after all these years. Even their newer albums still have that energy I fell in love with when I was a kid. Back then their album Indestructible was my favorite. Ten Thousand Fists was a good one to me but it was never my favorite, though I absolutely adored the songs Pain Redefined, Guarded, and Stricken. I'm Alive and the title track are songs that I have really come to love now as an adult. I really hope I find a copy of this album sometime!

Puree Pillar goes along with the usual pizza tower lore, owner of a business gets threatened by a giant sentient piece of food that wants to blow up their building yada yada yada....

The main character ain't no ordinary peppino no siree

Instead, they're basically entirely different!! They look... Nothing alike probably.

Let me introduce you to the characters!!

Susie! (Peppino) : Susie is a not-so-young (he's old as shit) woman running a small beverage shop called Susie's Smoothies! (You will never guess what she sells. /j) Yeah, he has a smoking addiction she can't get rid of, but that doesn't stop her from kicking ass!!!!! (He is very depressed) AND on top of that!! She's a war veteran!! Crazy right!! She had a group of 3 other friends that had passed away during the war. Poor Susie can't catch a break... But on a lighter note, she rides a motorcycle! Woah!!

Next up we have..

Mia!! (Gustavo) : Mia is Susie's best friend and has been since they were wee little children! How adorable!! They've been with Susie through thick and thin, always helping each other out! (But Mia is not in fact, a war veteran like Susie.) She works with Susie and helps her run the shop. They care a lot about each other!! And her giant pet hedgehog Pebble!! :3c

(God this is getting long)

Berry! (The Noise) : Berry is a circus performer along with his girlfriend Drupe! Him and Susie are rivals, always getting into fights those two.. Berry is his stage name! What's his real name you say? I have no fucking clue

Drupe! (Noisette) : As stated before, Drupe is Berry's girlfriend! She runs her own little bakery somewhere in the pillar! (Or well, tower)

The Assailant. (The Vigilante) : He's a sentient glop of smoothie that anyone who dares to break the law must answer to! He's quite a fancy fella, but if you break a law.. Pray! Cause your ass MIGHT die!!! And he thinks he's a real human being! What a weirdo (/j)!!

DJ Apple! (Pepperman): DJ here is quite a cool guy! He makes sick beats that everyone enjoys! So much so they might break a hip from dancing too hard! Where did he get that chunk bit out of him? Why is his hand missing? ..... Who knows! But he still manages to make some good music!

Fake Susie! (Fake Peppino) : Whatever this thing is, it's creepy! How did it get in here! Why does she look so much like Susie? It's weird!! It's entirely made of smoothie, kinda like The Assilent! But why is she not as intelligent as him? Sometimes she can be found in vents! How the fuck did he get in there get him out

(I'm pretty sure you know what the purpose of the ingredients ((toppins)) are so I won't write about them)

Mr Trick! (Mr Stick) : Mr Trick here is a scammer!! Watch out!! He's very greedy, and would choose money over anything!

Nate! (Snick) : It's him!!

Orange Head... (Pizza Head) : He's the big bad of the pillar! The one who started it all! Boy I hate this guy! He knows... Strangely a lot about Susie... I wonder why!

Orange Face... (Pizza face) : He's a giant floating hunk of junk made by Orange Head! It's only that big so he can fit his fat ass inside!! Orange face chases Susie out of the levels once the timer reaches 0 so she can't get out! But Susie is usually too fast for him.

And last but not least...

Jerald! (Gerome) : He's the janitor/plumber of the pillar, the only one that has the key to special rooms!

This took me SO long to answer but that's because the questions were so good!!

🖊️ BALLPOINT PEN — does your oc have any tattoos? Do they want any (more) tattoos?

Rosaria has a tarot card tattoo on her arm and a rose tattoo on her thigh. The latter came a bit before she started her first college semester. It was her 17th birthday and her sister insisted that she needed a tattoo before her college journey began. Since Sonia is a tattoo addict and Sal also has a handful of tattoos (I need to make more of his but I'm lazy shh) for Rosaria to get one was like a ‘rite of passage.’ Either way, she likes her thigh tattoo because she thinks it looks like an intricate design when she puts on stockings. But the downfall of this is when she wears stockings with intricate designs, her tattoo is still visible and throws the design off. The tarot tattoo is more recent and it also serves as a display for how much she loves colored tattoos rather than black and white ones. Rosaria has seen some really cute tattoo ideas of flowers at the ankles or a kitten hugging the moon, and she would love them on her but, because of her career goals she thinks they could be very unprofessional or at worse, look immature. 

🎶 MUSICAL NOTES — what type of music does your oc like? do they listen to music very often?

She has a nostalgic love for 80s rock and 80s pop due to her parents always playing it when she was little. Beyond that she grew up in a house with all sorts of music: Sal loved rappers, Sonia loved rock! Rosaria found herself leaning towards indie pop and indie rock. Because I’m the sort of person who has to know what sort of music my OCs listen to so I can get into their headspace, I’m gonna name off some musicians! Tennis, The Bird and the Bee, Florence & The Machine, Lana Del Ray (she got into her during like, 2014 or 2013 tumblr. same with Florence), Mitski, Steve Lacy, and Toro y Moi.

💘 HEART WITH ARROW — what and/or who do(es) your oc consider the most important to them?

Her immediate family is very important to her, because it feels 'small and fragile.' Her mom died when she was going into Middle School, her dad began living his life self-destructively soon after therefore, Rosaria consequently grew up worried about her siblings dying young in addition to herself dying young. Her cat Briscola is also very important to her, because Rosaria feels like domestic animals depend on humans and consequently, if something happens to them its her fault and she's a failure in some way.

🎂 BIRTHDAY CAKE — when is your oc's birthday? how old are they? what are their sun, moon, & rising signs (if known)? what about their tarot card, ruling planet, & ruling number (if known)? do they fit the typical traits of these sun, moon, & rising signs? Rosaria’s birthday is March 26, she’s 28 going on 29 and her sign is Aries which hopefully puts every one of her confrontational scenes in a better context 😂 I’m gonna be honest and say Rosaria’s behavior is based on my grandmother who is also an Aries who switches from being a diligent worker, a sweet, pleasant, caring person, then the most combative person ever.

🍝 SPAGHETTI — what is/are your oc's favorite food(s)?

Grilled chicken wraps, tortellini with ricotta and spinach.

😊 SMILING FACE WITH SMILING EYES — what are your oc's career/general life desires? what do they want to get the most out of life? When Rosaria was a kid she wanted to be the President. Looking back, Rosaria recognizes she always wanted to make the world a better place, because in addition to fixating on history, she was obsessed with how the creation of laws and rules were formed. When she learned that people in government made laws, that’s when Rosaria decided: “oh! I want to be President so I decide which laws exist!” ‘cause you know, kids simplify logic like that. She wanted to be a lawyer in Middle School and High School, but by High School she felt like her family wasn’t likely to put her through Law School due to their low finances. Once she was in college, she majored in Communications because she felt like she would graduate quickly with some sort of [dead-end] job to satisfy her family. Rosaria still wanted to make the world a better place though, so she would always participate in activist rallies and protests.

As she studies to be a lawyer now, Rosaria still aspires to help people. [Unaware that Raphael allegedly wants her to be a consigliere.] I consider middle-aged Rosaria, in the Sink or Swim AU, to be an Immigration Lawyer which ties into her passion about helping others have a better life.

😥 SAD BUT RELIEVED FACE — is your oc prone to getting stressed out, or is it easy for them to keep their cool?

Rosaria is prone to anxiety. In a mild case she’s overthinking a situation, but in a severe case she’s having panic attacks. High levels of neuroticism runs on the father’s side of her family. But beyond that, a good deal of Rosaria’s general stress comes from her overworking herself and setting high expectations for herself. To receive bad feedback in college, or work, can send her into a brief depression.

💯 HUNDRED POINTS SYMBOL — share three random facts about your oc that others may not know. 1. Because he immigrated at seven years old and was thrust into English-speaking schools he struggled reading, writing, and speaking. Because this school was [shitty] and underfunded, apathetic teachers would consequently place Pietro in Special Education Classes that did not help him either. Dissatisfied with school [and seeing it as a place where he would just be humiliated] Pietro would stop going at fourteen years old. 2. His English gradually improved because his big sister, Donatella, would take him to the local theater every Saturday and they would watch movies. It was more of a listening experience than anything else.  3. Pietro was coerced into a sexual relationship with Daciano’s mother, Maria Falcone when he was twenty. Neither Ernesto or Daciano are aware of this. But, Pietro was residing with Ernesto and Maria at the time. Ernesto and Maria were splitting up, and Maria frequently made passes at Pietro wanting to fulfill a personal fantasy of having a young, fit guy fulfill her needs. As a result, Pietro felt to secure the fact he had a roof over his head, he had to sleep with Ernesto's wife.

🔺 RED TRIANGLE POINTED UP — does your oc know how to use any weapons? If it was required for Pietro to cut up a man, he could do it with expertise. This is because his father, Umberto, made his living as a butcher and had his sons assist with the shop. He knows how to cut chickens and remove their innards and just the same he knows vital spots on the human body. Frankly, he would prefer to use a gun to kill. 🐈 CAT — does your oc prefer a wide circle of friends or a few close friends? Pietro is a man with a few close friends. However, he feels it’s good to be sociable and know others: because when people think that they know you, they can be resourceful in times of need. Prison taught him the importance of keeping his circle small, but even as a child and teen Pietro was a quiet, observant boy. He could be in a group of people, only making a meaningful connection with roughly three or four other kids.

🍎 RED APPLE — where was your oc born? do they still live in/around their place of birth or do they live somewhere else? how do they feel about their birthplace? Pietro was born in Sicily [Tartosa] and now he resides in America so he is nowhere close to his birthplace. He misses Sicily, although he isn’t quite sure if he romanticizes his home country or not. Either way, Pietro isn’t fond of city living. Apartments terrified him as a kid - it’s too much noise and it didn’t seem right to stack people on top of each other. Houses located in busy districts are just as worse as the noise persists. He would rather live in quiet, unassuming suburbs where nothing happens or the countryside. However, living in the countryside means the commute to work would be too long, so Pietro settles for suburbia.

🖤 BLACK HEART — has your oc killed or seriously wounded anyone before? have they broken someone's heart and/or broken someone's trust? Hurting others comes with the nature of Pietro’s occupation. However, an instance of Pietro harming someone within Sink or Swim can be seen when he and others pummeled Mendel the dentist. Pietro has broken hearts and trust more on a profound level when it comes to his family. And that is something we will dive in later within this story’s narrative.

🧐 FACE WITH MONOCLE — is your oc more logical or emotional? Pietro is sneaky, but he is also logical and level-headed. He analyzes situations and he is a reflective thinker. He is capable of becoming emotional in certain situations, but it’s because something he really loves is on the line or something he cares about is at stake. Sometimes, you can get away with jumping and doing something risky when wrapped up in your emotions. But sometimes you can’t afford to.
