something about when americans say this kinda thing makes me super uncomfortable. texas is bigger than afghanistan and yet in afghanistan they speak a different language and have a different government to its neighbouring country pakistan. meanwhile i dont think going from texas to oklahoma will be much of a culture shock. land mass isnt all there is to a national identity.
