Finding out they put some shitty love triangle in the Three Body Problem Netflix adaptation hurts almost as much as the fact that I don't recognise any of these characters... and it's not like the character work itself was stellar, but it was at least grounded in the fact that the cast is brought together in unlikely, literally alien circumstances. How did they make that part worse.

I hate when I have to defend shit I don't really want to defend.

#like GOT makes me defend A/SOIAF when I don't like it and then A/SOIAF makes me defend LOTR when I don't like it #matryoshka doll of fucking good sense and reason #I think the thing is that the characters touch each other in small ways - that's the overwhelming theme #it only hits melodrama because luo ji is a fucking loser and unfortch I kinda like him #also the star-crossed lovers storyline... we're not going to talk about that
