okay i haven't played tgaa yet and stayed far away from it to avoid major spoilers but. what if. ryunosuke eventually grows his hair out someday and it just keeps getting spikier and spikier. he wakes up and runs his hair through it and it just falls into those weird spikes. drys it off after bathing and it just pops up. not completely 180-degree horizontal but enough that when you look down his ancestral line you go "ohhhhhhhhhhh. i see."
