insane (predicable) to me that you could literally have the most sanitized radio cut version of intrusive thoughts represented into a character and people would still be immensely bothered by it. that you could give the insanely clear cut "your thoughts are not a precursor to your actions, avoiding them doesn't help anything, go to bed" and in some spaces just straight-up mentioning the representative character wasn't allowed. bc yeah a lot of intrusive thoughts wouldn't pass youtube community guidelines. when, for the sake of debate, someone watered them down to the same energy as poop jokes and a "family feud insane moments" video, some bitches STILL took issue with that shit and made it everyone's problem. and everyone around them fully endorsed it, used the designated trigger tag while simultaneously putting their fanart in the actual "intrusive thoughts" tag. and they STILL claimed that they supported mental health and its discussion likeeeeeee
#sanders sides#remus sanders#haven't typed that shit out in years god#no but like this was during the highlight of when bitches on the internet forced others to be responsible for their OWN online experience#it makes sense. i guess. not really. girl why were the demonizing topics darker than what would be present in tv-y7 shows#every “drama-free wholesome family” fandom has the most passive agressive toxic people in them istg#ya'll were fine with racist cop yaoi fics but when gore is lightly discussed and used primarily as a joke you flip?#be fucking serious#sending this into the void and not looking back have a good night ya'll

Squeeze that bunny tail!
Part 2
Description: The RAD student council as well as the exchange students help out at a bar where, oops, the staff´s dress codes are those sweet bunny outfits that we all know and thirst for. The MCs, Violet and Clover, play a game of who can touch the most bunny tails over the evening without getting caught. Prepare for fluff, funny innuendos as well as my thirst over hot boys in bunny outfits.
The story is divided in several parts and will be updated every few days. Find Part 1 here.
Story continues below the cut, hope you enjoy!
Both, Violet and Clover, were fair players, so, as they weren't able to walk around in a pair the whole evening, Violet and Clover had to trust each other in counting their own points.
Their utmost priority, however, was still to help out at the bar, so they had to focus on that for most of the time. But whenever there was a chance tangible (in the most literal sense lol), their minds immediately switched back to their little competition.
Violet had already started with one point advantage, due to the squeeze she had given Beel's tail.
But the girl was up for the thrill, so it didn't take too long until she had found her next target.
Everyone's beloved angel man Simeon was on cooking duty with her and Barbatos.
While the butler was easily handling all of their tasks on his own, the other two were trying their best to actually help him instead of being in the way.
They were chopping down ingredients that Barbatos could throw into the hellfire hot pot he was preparing when it happened...
A cheeky little squeeze while Simeon was turning to grab another veggie, and Violet got her second point already.
The angel didn't seem to have noticed, as he kept talking with this precious smile on his lips.
The real danger, however, came through the door immediately after.
Glancing up from the pompom that Violet had just given a good squish, she locked eyes with Luke.
They stared at each other for a hot second, then Violet straightened up again, trying to remain composed while Luke looked like losing his shit any second.
"Ah, Luke!" Simeon interrupted his own narration. "Perfect timing!"
Violet gave a silent sarcastic laugh. No, not a perfect timing at all...
Luke was still trying to cope with the sin he had just witnessed, but now Barbatos approached him as well.
"Could I ask for your help with the special menu's 'halo donuts'?” Barbatos asked. “Simeon claimed it to be your specialty."
Now Luke was blushing at the compliment.
"U-uhm... Well, yes, I do make quite good donuts... Fine, I'll help!"
As he passed Violet, he threw her a last sceptical glance, but soon the girl could let out a relieved breath.
Getting Luke to fuss over reaching for Simeon's butt was certainly not something she needed, not so soon into the game...
----------------
Clover was trying to gather some safe points before risking anything.
Her main goal was to get at least ONE point, to be frank.
Looking at her options for low-risk points, her heart was beating for one particular target, but her blushy excitement made it impossible to approach that gluttonous teddy bear.
So she settled on probably the easiest target of all.
Belphie's first shift consisted of... Sleeping. Like, literally. The idea was to let him nap until his energy tanks were filled enough for him to actually be useful for proper work.
Huddled over the bar, the youngest of the demon brothers seemed so vulnerable that even Clover could bring up enough courage to go for that tail.
Couldn't be that hard, right?
Well, it could.
Just as she was about the stretch out her shaking hand, someone walked right into her way and startled her completely.
As the girl gave an awkward squeal, Mammon looked at her with almost as much fright in his eyes.
"Waah, human, what are ya screamin´ at?!"
"I-I didn't... See you there..." Clover mumbled.
"I literally just passed by..." He raised an eyebrow. But seeing how her cheeks were flushed all red, a little grin curled his face. "I didn't know you'd get so excited to see me, human. I mean, I can't blame ya for being flustered at my sight, but what's all the blushing for?"
"I-I'm not flustered..." she stammered, trying to calm down.
"Come on, you can be honest", Mammon continued to tease, his ego-boosting mode fully activated. "I look damn nice in those clothes after all."
Clover shot him a glance, mustering how his vest fit him perfectly, how his shirt was slightly unbuttoned, and that he looked prrretty dang fine in shoes with heels.
"You do" she agreed.
Now Mammon was the one to flinch.
"F-for real?!" he blushed, then cleared his throat immediately. "I-I mean, thanks, I guess."
Mammon went silent for a moment, trying to calm his heart rate over the unexpected compliment.
"Want me to pose for ya?", he seemed to joke.
Clover looked at him... and sensed her chance.
"Yes please, great Mammon!" she exclaimed.
His tanned skin flushed an even darker colour, but, being the model he was, he actually did some poses for her. Now Clover didn't complain at that -- Mammon WAS a snack after all.
But after a while, she prompted him to give her a proper view of his back as well.
He seemed confused, even more so as she told him to stand still, but in the end did not seem to have noticed how Clover quickly poked his bunny tail. And while he was busy bragging about something modelling-related, Clover also turned to do the same with Belphie's tail as he was still asleep next to her.
"Thanks, Mammon!" she cheered afterwards, having scored not one, but three points at once.
With a little hop, she tackled Mammon into a quick hug before running off in a giggle.
Clover nearly bumped into Solomon while running away.
"Oh, hello... Why in such a hurry?" The sorcerer dodged her perfectly, his eyes sparkling in amusement as he mustered the clumsy girl.
"Huh? Oh, Solomon, sorry. Didn't see you there."
He laughed. "Well, I did guess that, seeing as you were focused on Mammon so intensely. The only question is... What did you do to leave him as such a blushing mess?"
"... I hugged him" Clover said, shrugging.
But seeing Solomon's expression, she felt somewhat off. Was he waiting for a different answer...?
"Well then, time to get back to work" Solomon changed the topic. "We don't want to waste time, do we? The bar opens soon."
He turned, but had yet to get moving. Instead, Solomon was taking a look around, completely exposing his bunny tail to Clover.
Which was worth three points, after all...
And it seemed like just the perfect opportunity...
"Yep, see you", Clover replied, turning around herself, leaving.
As much as she liked Solomon, this man was emitting such shady vibes that there was no getting her to touch this particular bunny tail…
--------------
Clover had bragged to her friend about her point advantage soon after (and spoke of her concerns regarding Mr. Shady MCShady),
Which she'd later realise had been a pretty bad idea.
Maybe fueled by rivalry, maybe just because Violet had some weird kink for pompom-like things, she upped her game SO much after that. (A/N: Ok it's not a kink, I was prompted to make sure everyone knows that... (But also it's a kink believe me hehehe))
Within the next hour, Violet scored another four points.
"Asmo, Mammon, and Beel again?!" Clover cried out in disbelief when the girls found each other in the kitchen. "What's wrong with you?!"
"Hehe~" Violet laughed. "I just had some good opportunities."
Clover rolled her eyes as she was cleaning some dishes. "Yeah, great, and I've been running around with top tier difficulty peeps like Papa Luci or Solomon. Talk about unfair..."
"I meeaan... You COULD squish them..."
"Yeah, sure, and risk dying? No thanks."
"Solomon wouldn't kill you... probably."
"... I´m telling you something´s UP with that guy today, I wouldn´t be so sure of that…" Clover joked, although having shivers go down her spine.
Before they could continue this, the kitchen door flew open.
Levi was dragging a trolley full of dirty glasses along with him.
He seemed awfully pissed.
"Levi?" Violet called out. "Are you okay...?"
He threw her a glance.
"Do I think I'm okay? In a place with so many Normies?" He gave a sigh, then seemed to have remembered something. "Ah, Violet, Lucifer said he needed you in the dancing hall."
The girl gave a nod, quickly wanting to make a leave since only fools would let a person like Lucifer wait. She shot Clover a glance before leaving, gesturing her to go for Levi's tail while they were alone.
Clover instantly felt that awkward pressure back on her, but now that she got called out she had to do it.
As the demon began placing the dishes in the dishwasher, Clover slowly approached him.
"Can I help you?" she asked.
"If you've got nothing better to do..." he mumbled, not looking up from his work. "Although, you'd probably do better to go out and have fun with the oth- AAAGH WHY ARE YOU SO CLOSE?!"
Clover gave an almost equal squeal as she backed away in an instant.
"I WanTeD To HeLp" she screamed.
"BUT WHY ARE SO CLOSE?!"
"DON'T SHOUT AT ME, I'M AWKWARD."
"I'M EVEN MORE AWKWARD THAN YOU ARE, IDIOT."
They stared at each other with red faces until Clover crouched down to sit on the floor, recovering from this incident.
"Wh-what are you doing there?" Levi asked.
"Sit. I like floors. It's where I belong."
The demon gave her a weird look before averted his gaze in a troubled expression.
After a little silence, he would speak up again.
"... You belong outside, not here on this stinky kitchen floor."
"Huh?"
He bit his lip sheepishly. "Serving the guests, or at the bar... Where everyone can see you."
"... Huh?" Clover seriously didn't understand what he was blushing about.
He was staring at her, searching for words, but then decided to simply poke her bunny ears.
"... Bunny maids are a clear 10/10, everyone knows that..." he mumbled.
The girl blinked, now realising he was trying to compliment her.
"Bunny butlers, too, though" she replied. "You look really good", she laughed, grabbing one flap of his jacket to play with it.
"Adasdhegagf...!!"
Yes, that is a thing Levi can say, while flushing red and bashfully covering his face.
Not able to take this compliment, he ended up on the floor as well.
"You can't just land a critical hit without a warning... I thought we were confidants...!"
"Rank six confidants", Clover nodded. "But that's only more the reason to tell you what a snack you are right now-"
"AAAAAHHH DON'T!!" he screeched, turning away from her to hide his embarrassment. "I can't deal with so much kindness..."
Clover blinked at the bunny tail right in front of her.
Target locked.
She gave it a careful squish, then snickered a little before standing up.
"But you deserve it. That's why... I'm calling a confident rank up!"
He turned his head. "R-really?! Rank seven already?!"
"Yup."
"Woah... to think I'd be such good friends with somebody one day... Thank you, Clover-chan...!"
"No, no... I have to thank you, Levia-tan."
-----------------
"You want me to select songs for the people to dance to...?"
Violet looked at the three monitors behind the DJ's table in the dancing hall.
Lucifer gave a nod. "We already added songs from Devildom artists, but we could use a little of a cultural mix" he said.
Satan walked up to Violet and Lucifer, now looking at the list of songs all together.
"We also need to add more to make the playlist last until the local closes" Lucifer continued. "I doubt that anyone will leave sober enough to remember such details, but Lord Diavolo ordered no repetitions in the playlist, so please, just help us out..."
Violet gave it some thought, not really knowing much about typical party songs. “I highly doubt my taste in hard rock will be a good representation of humanities taste in music, but... Well, that´s all I can serve with, so…” She came up with some nice picks from her own likings.
While Violet was eventually coming up with some nice tracks, in the meantime, Satan activated his pissing-off-Lucifer mode.
"Lucifer, you talk as if you'd know what a real party looks like", he mocked, referring to Lucifer's comment from before. "Have you even been to a club before?"
The oldest brother gave a huff.
"Of course I have."
"Oh? I meant on occasions other that picking up a drunk Asmo from IN FRONT OF the club."
"The answer is still a yes, thank you for clarifying."
Satan raised an eyebrow.
"Interesting", he hummed. "I can't really imagine you at a club, though... Dancing in the crowd... downing shots... or being cool in general..."
The avatar of Pride gave an annoyed sigh.
"You don't seem like a party animal either, Satan" he countered.
"Well I choose to avoid crowded places for most of the time. However, I still think I'd do better at settling in a club's atmosphere than you could."
Violet could almost feel how Lucifer's frustration piled up, even though he tried staying calm.
"Do you, huh...?" Lucifer leisurely responded.
And his outward calmness made Satan angry as well.
"You don't believe me?" the blond huffed. “Do you really think I couldn´t beat an old man at clubbing?”
Meanwhile, being in the middle of what felt like a flippin´ dance battle about to break out any moment, Violet prayed for them to stop fighting soon.
... Which didn't happen.
They kept bickering, partly because Satan talked himself into a fury and partly because Lucifer's pride was too big to admit defeat or weakness in any way.
Just when Violet had finished the playlist, Satan threw a final tantrum, leaving them with an outraged "Whatever!!" as he stomped off into another section of the dancing hall.
Lucifer pressed out a sigh, cutting through the awkward silence that had spread amongst them.
"What a troublesome child..." he mumbled.
Violet watched Satan with a worried expression, before turning to Lucifer with the same look on her face.
"... Don't worry, that is normal behaviour between Satan and me..." the male assured her. "He will get over his anger soon enough."
"And... What about you...? I feel like you are quite tense right now, yourself…" Violet asked.
"I should go and see where my help is needed now", he claimed, dodging her question.
Lucifer was gone before Violet could respond anything coherent.
Thus, giving a sigh, she decided to at least check how Satan was doing.
The avatar of Wrath was lumbering around some speakers, seeming as if he checked if everything was working as it should (despite having no idea how they were working.)
When he noticed Violet approaching, he only shot her a quick glance.
"Satan...?" The girl softly called out. "Are you okay?"
No answer.
It almost felt as if he was going to ignore her completely.
"... I don't get it” he then suddenly pressed out.
"What do you mean?" Violet took a careful step closer.
"I hate him" Satan growled.
The girl flinched, but decided not to say anything. She felt a certain frustration in his voice, and indeed, as he continued, his tone changed a little.
"He really pisses me off every time. I get angry, over nothing at all!" He clenched his fists. "And it makes me angry, his stupid face, his cocky attitude...!"
Then his shoulders fell. "... Why can't I just ignore him? I get angry, and then I get angry over getting angry. It's so...!"
Violet listened to him patiently.
"... It's so frustrating..." He mumbled.
"I can fathom..." Violet claimed, shooting him an encouraging smile as he slowly turned towards her. "But... Don't you think it's already a big step that you don't actually want to be angry?"
"... But what good is that when I do get angry after all?"
"You can't accomplish everything immediately” her expression softened even more. “What's important though is that you at least try."
Satan seemed sceptical, but in the end gave a slight nod.
"I guess... I'm sorry for bothering you."
The girl shook her head in a smile. "You´re not a bother. I´m glad you felt comfortable enough to tell me."
Shyly, she spread her arms, inviting him into a hug. A little awkward himself, he gave a little laugh before stepping close to embrace her.
"Everyone needs to vent out their anger sometimes" Violet reassured.
"... Thanks", he whispered.
As they parted, Satan turned to inspect the speakers again.
"Anyway... I think we checked through everything we needed in the dance hall. I will look over this here and then head out for my break."
"Mhm..." Violet muttered. "Sounds good..."
And there, she went for it.
A little touch - she didn't dare to do more than that.
But Satan's bunny tail had been successfully poked.
He continued to speak like nothing happened, so Violet dared to wish she had went for a whole squeeze instead.
"I should be going now", the girl said.
"Alright" Satan was still focused on inspecting the equipment, so Violet made her leave.
Unconsciously, she turned her head shortly before leaving the hall.
A shiver went down her spine, leaving her paralyzed for what felt like her last moments alive.
Satan's alarmed, slightly angered glare was cutting through the air, focussing her for a hot second before he decided to turn around again.
Hurrying out of the dance hall, dodging Solomon as he had nearly run into her, Violet quickly pulled out her phone as she had withdrawn from the scene of crime:
Violet: Clover I think Satan noticed me.
Clover: As in Senpai noticed me?
Violet: ...
Clover: :D
Violet: ... No, I squeezed his tail, but later on he was staring at me. Help.
Clover: ... So he's a three-pointer now?
Violet: I don't know but I feel like I nearly died so probably.
Clover: Lolol well that's what you get from messing with Satan. But I'll be kind and give you those two points. He did not confront you about it, after all.
"Hey, Violet!"
Violet flinched so heavily she nearly let go of her phone. Her first instinct had feared it was Satan calling her, but actually, she turned to look at somebody else.
"Lord Diavolo", she said. "Can I help you with anything?"
"I want to place the free snacks on the dining tables" he smiled. "Most of them are from the human world, so I want you to help me choose the best."
He was already going ahead, leaving Violet no room to explain that she's actually SO not a snacking person and had near to no idea how to help him.
Someone gave Diavolo keys for the storage room, and as they stepped inside, he turned on the lights.
"Woah...", Violet's mouth fell open. "That's... A lot of stuff."
"Fascinating, isn't it? You humans are so creative when it comes to food!"
He led her further inside where the snacks were stored.
Even though Violet liked him a lot, it still felt weird, being alone with the Prince of the whole flippin Devildom. You wouldn't have guessed it from Diavolo's carefree aura, but Violet was fairly overwhelmed, being able to walk alongside him so casually.
She tried her best at giving some advice as they looked through the huge collection together.
"We should go with a good mix of sweet and salty snacks" she explained. "Pretzels, chips or peanuts, together with something more delicate, gummies for example."
Diavolo beamed her a smile.
"I knew I could count on you!"
And he started grabbing things off the shelves.
Violet was helping, of course, but the storeroom was also tall as frick, so for lots of bags, she had to ask Diavolo to reach for it.
And that's when it hit her.
The currently vulnerable Diavolo, reaching for a bag of extra cheesy Tortilla chips, exposing his three-point worth bunny tail, only centimetres away from Violet's reach.
She literally only had to stretch out her hand a tiny bit.
And with the waterfall of words that Diavolo was talking, he wouldn't even notice.
It would be so easy.
But she couldn't do it.
She looked around. Between all the shelves, all the packages, back to the door they came from.
They were alone. She was sure of it.
But also, Violet had never felt more watched over than in this exact moment.
There was this presence lurking in the back of her neck, threatening her the more she tried to stretch out her arm.
Waiting for her to make one false decision...
"Extra DOUBLE cheesy?!"
Diavolo turned around, holding up a bag of Doritos. "Humans are so crazy!!"
Violet blinked at him, only now noticing that her whole body had tensed up so much it almost hurt.
"Y-yeah..."
As they walked out of the storeroom, arms full with all sorts of snacks, Violet gave a sigh. She had been so close... Only a little closer, and she…
"Should I take some of those from you?"
Violet did a little jump as she heard the voice next to her ear.
Barbatos was right beside her, smiling and tilting his head a little.
"My apologies, I didn't mean to scare you."
The way he mustered her, with his bunny ears and the bow tie around his neck, he looked so cute when he gently pulled most of the bags out of Violet's grip,
But sure as hell, today the girl learned to never pull any kind of prank on the Lord of the Devildom. Ever.
---------------
Violet was trying to catch a breath so she allowed herself a quick time-out in the bathroom. When she stepped outside again, she saw Solomon waving her over.
"I heard you and Lord Diavolo brought snacks to display? Would you mind helping me bring them to the tables?"
She gave a nod as an answer.
"Great. Then, let's divide them into the bowls first, and then go around with one of the trays."
And so they did. There wasn't much happening, really. Not much chatting, but nothing strange either.
Just one thing...
A bunch of perfect occasions to squeeze Solomon's bunny tail. Like, every few moments, he was focussing on something, leaving a perfect opening...
Violet left this situation without gaining any more points.

My Jessica Jones S1&S2 Review
*Some Spoilers*
Well here it is, the post you might’ve been waiting for. Sorry it took so long to do this as I had so many other priorities in my life that needed my attention. But I’m here now and I’m ready to discuss my personal thoughts and opinions on Jessica Jones. To start off I wanna say honestly that I had originally no intention to watch this show. Its not that I thought it would be bad but that it didn’t really appeal to me. I have to like the idea and the characters to get behind something. However when the Defenders dropped in August of last year I had to admit my curiosity on the Jessica Jones peeked a little. I could tell there was a whole lot more to the character than hard-drinking and a give em’ hell attitude. Plus being a huge fan of the Daredevil Netflix show I felt I had to check it out.
For the most part my assumptions proved to be correct. I dove right into Jessica Jones’s freshman series right after finishing The Punisher and surprisingly quite enjoyed it. Now let me say first so there’s no mistaking my differentiated feelings on the two separate seasons how f**king brilliant Krysten Ritter is in this role. She brings such a delightful spunk, relatable complexity and strength yet vulnerability to the character that is so rarely seen these days. Jones is more than just another super-being, actually that was probably what made the show so unique. And she kicks a lot of ass. Opposite to what was done on Daredevil, the writers actually treated Jessica’s abilities secondary to her as a person while remaining more focused on her position as this edgy, tough-as-nails private eye. Off topic I’m a sucker for a good old fashioned detective story; Sherlock Holmes, Nancy Drew, Bogart in Casablanca. Can’t go wrong there.
So the basic premise of Jessica Jones is the story of a 30-something woman running from a dark past; living in New York as a self-employed sleuth. By she day nurses her demons with alcohol [which this show doesn’t glorify unlike Defenders] and random companionship, by night Jessica boldly prowls the city streets searching for the latest cheating husband or wife. Her closest friends/allies are her adopted sister Trish Walker, Geri Hogarth [the female lawyer seen in Daredevil and Iron First who currently works with Foggy Nelson], Luke Cage [a man also with abilities who works at a bar and is a Defender] and Malcolm Ducasse [a former addict/neighbor who lives her in building]. But I have to say though my favorite relationship of all those would have to be Jessica and her trusty camera. Anyway what starts as a typical day at the office for Miss Jones in the first episode quickly shifts into a relentless nightmare involving a specific demon she just can’t seem to escape.
Going back to Jones’s character what I love most about her is she’s not one-note; there are dimensions and layers to her personality and background. Jessica is so much more than just her jaded quirks, attractive looks and impeccable super strength; she’s got a softer side if you can believe it. She can be feisty and sh*t-talking one minute then kind, funny and compassionate the next. There are moments where she thinks of others before herself; case in point sticking up for Ruben [one of her abused neighbors], saving a little girl from a coming car while dressed as a sandwich [one of my favorite Jessica moments] and helping Malcolm detox from his drug habit. Her supposed care-less attitude ironically is her way of caring in a different way. I adore her saucy sarcastic sense of humor which would easily come across as just plain bitchy or cold if it not for how Krysten delivers it onscreen. Its not mean but not entirely nice either yet is actually part of what makes her so endearing. I won’t go into full detail of her development but lets just say that cliffhanger in S1 really left you wanting more of this character.
The supporting characters are fine and do well to compliment the hero however I wouldn’t say they’re as compelling to the ones on Daredevil, Iron Fist or Punisher. I did like Trish, she has a nice dynamic with Jessica and the writers do give their relationship an even focus in both seasons of the show. Malcolm is also great when he’s helping Jones in the office during season 1. And some of the other S1 building tenants are humorous and quirky. I did like Geri’s character in Daredevil, Defenders and Iron Fist; was stunned when I found out she was a main player in JJ and couldn’t wait to see what they do with her because Carrie-Anne Moss is so excellent. But when it came to actually seeing her story I found myself disappointed. I just couldn’t connect with her. Idk I guess I found found Hogarth even colder and unlikable on Jessica Jones compared to when I saw her assorted appearances on the other MCU shows. I know they tried to do a darker in-depth storyline with her in S2 but it just wasn’t executed proficiently. If there had been a proper build up towards it in S1 I might’ve gotten behind what the writers were doing but that’s just one of many mistakes in S2.
Unpopular opinion: I wasn’t the biggest fan of Luke Cage in this series. I just didn’t find him that appealing as a character or cared about his relationship with Jessica. He fairs much better on his solo series and in Defenders. But I didn’t feel the chemistry between him and Jones nor did I care about their comic canon status. In fact I found their scenes dragging and boring. While Jessica clearly had an unhealthy thing going on with Kilgrave its no more toxic than what she has with Cage. Its completely based on sex for the sole fact that the two characters have psychological issues and both have supernatural abilities. There is also deception between them. Not to mention the fact that these two are connected by a certain tragedy which is a whole other reason why they would never work or function properly as a couple. Jones and Cage are far better off remaining friends/allies in my opinion.
Moving on..
The major highlight of this series would have to be the show’s unstoppable villain and personally my favorite character in the series Kilgrave aka The Purple Man; magnificently hemmed by the ever so charismatic, acting powerhouse Doctor Who’s David Tennant. I never imagined another MCU Netflix villain coming close to what Wilson Fisk did on Daredevil but that’s exactly what Kilgrave manages to do so effortlessly on Jessica Jones. Tennant doesn’t play this character just strictly as a typical ‘bad guy’ or homicidal mind-controlling fiend; he has motivations, complexities and layers that mirror Ritter’s conflicted protagonist. As the episodes go on you actually start to feel for Kilgrave’s injustices and understand his extreme methods even when harming the innocent. His scenes with Jones are some of the most superb acting I’ve seen from both David and Krysten. They have exceptional chemistry together and play off one another so seamlessly. Their back and forth cat and mouse themed dynamic is actually the most entertaining part of this show. Seriously I could gush on for days about why I love Kilgrave.
Tennant commands the screen so powerfully; he’s just a total scene stealer as this character that in a way overshadows most of the supporting cast. He’s that larger than life. I gravitated to him so easily. What he does with Kilgrave is nothing short of fantastic to say the least. He could be scary, funny, classy, charming, emotional and deep without it ever muddling the character which is not an easy feat. I mean there’s just so much ground to cover with Kilgrave, endless story potential. While watching S1 I couldn’t wait for the writers to dabble further into his twisted childhood/dark past and tortured psyche. I mean if you get past the whole killing and rape aspect of him, Kilgrave isn’t all that horrible of a person. And while his infatuation with Jessica maybe borderline obsessive and abusive, he really does love her and demonstrates it. Sick as that sounds this guy just wants to be loved. He would go to ends of the earth for Jones it’s almost tragically poetic. Not more so than what the writers decide to actually do with him in the S1 finale unfortunately. But I won’t spoil that.
My second favorite character and probably the most underrated on Jessica Jones would have to be the young police sergeant Will Simpson aka future Nuke. Not many people remember or probably care too much about him since his appearance into the show doesn’t happen until 1x04. And if you don’t pay enough attention to this character he could become forgettable. But its not the fault of the actor per-say but rather the writing as well as the directing. Wil Traval is insanely adorable and a hot as hell blond babe but don’t let that distract from the fact that he’s got some major acting chops under his belt. And luckily for Traval I did notice his character right away. When Simpson enters the scene its not exactly puppies and kittens; he’s a ruthless Kilgrave drone sent to assassinate Trish which is fortunately prevented by Jessica. And after he’s freed from Kilgrave’s mind-control he reluctantly joins forces with Jones to take him down indefinitely. Thing I love most about Simpson is his integrity in the beginning; he tries to do the right thing and be a good person even if it means crossing the line to achieve that goal.
He doesn’t always make the smartest or safest decisions but he does his best. Simpson has mystery, another quality I highly praise in a character. I spent most of my time wondering about the guy and wanting more of his background; especially when it was revealed he had ties to IGH. Simpson is so unpredictable with his shift in moods it was hard to read him but that’s what made him interesting. Another thing I love most about Simpson is his complicated alliance with Jessica Jones. For me its the second most entertaining part about watching the series. Ritter and Traval have sensational onscreen chemistry together its ridiculous how underused it is. I know most people probably preferred his relationship with Trish as well as probably shipped Jessica/Luke at this time but for me I just didn’t see enough story built there to care about either of those couples. I get weak in the knees when it comes to hilarious witty banter which Simpson and Jessica have in spades. Through IGH they had a connection with one another. There were times watching the episodes where I felt the writers were building a specific story between Jones and Simpson; whether it was a potential romance or future hero/nemesis arc I couldn’t wait to find out. Too bad that potential gets flushed down the toilet in S2.
Before I get into what I hated about season 2 because I did [all of it]; I need to address the show’s most intriguing elements of season 1. I loved its stylish Noir atmosphere; even the opening theme song is terrific [have it on my Spoitfy list]. The costumes, the settings and locations. From the lighting to the way the show is shot is so creative. Even the entire score is amazing. The pacing is nice. The action and special effects are pretty decent. I get the sense that I’m watching a cross between a Murder She Wrote and Sherlock Holmes hybrid. It just has this seductive pull of mystery and excitement. This show is not like Daredevil, Iron Fist, Luke Cage or Punisher but it does feel very much in the same universe. As I said the superhero aspect of it is more or less a secondary plot point but its refreshing and different. Not to say Jessica Jones doesn’t have its flaws as a series it does. I really wish some of the relationships had more time to blossom in S1 as well as S2. There was so much opportunity for the JJ writers to explore certain characters during its sophomore year unfortunately that wasn’t to be the case. Which brings me to the dud that is Jessica Jones season 2.
I won’t go into a whole thorough rant about what was awful about the second helping of Jones’s adventures but let me just say what they did in S1 they completely obliterated and ignored in S2 [including the characters]. I’m not kidding and I won’t lie about it either. I couldn’t wait to watch S2 because I thought S1 was just so fantastic. I wanted to see more of Jessica’s backstory, IGH, Will Simpson’s character growth and early stages of his Nuke persona, if Kilgrave was really coming back, Trish’s possible Hellcat transformation. I was excited for all this and more. But that’s not what happened. Apart from each of the characters being horribly butchered by the writers, especially Jessica Jones herself, the writing was crap; the Noir feel is just gone, its full of stupid PSA plots and the pacing is just a dragging snooze fest. And those sad super-running special effects would make the Flash sob waterfalls. Did they get rid of all the talent behind season 1 like what is going on? I could hardly keep my eyes open for some of the things that were happening. Actually what did happen because nothing made sense or I just didn’t care enough to make sense of it.
The impression I got from the JJ writers was like “to hell with it we’re doing whatever we want.” Everything about S2 was abysmal and disappointing. Zero structure and cohesiveness in storytelling. I can’t recall a single moment I enjoyed most about this season [maybe Kilgrave’s minor cameo].Trish became so unlikable to the point where I was nearly pulling my hair out and wanted her written off. Seriously I couldn’t stand her and I still don’t know how I feel about her after that finale. She wasn’t my favorite person to begin with but S2 solidified my distaste for her. Jessica my sweet Jessica where did you go because I didn’t see you any where in this season at all. The only thing I saw was your evil clone running around. Seriously though the development they did for Jones was just plain bad. Her character flip-flops more more times than the actual footwear my brain is still in knots. Too many lines were crossed with her she’s giving the Punisher a run for his money and not in a good way. I just don’t see any redemption for Jessica after this...none whatsoever. Its disheartening to say this because these writers took what I loved about Jones in the first year and threw it in a blender.
The new characters were boring and uninteresting; ugh I’d rather watch paint drying than another scene between Jessica and that random dude the writers threw at her as a love interest. The main villain was just atrocious, predicable and made no freaking sense. WTF did they do to Malcolm?? And don’t even get me started on what was done to Simpson. I’ve been angry about it for weeks and honestly after watching S2 the wounds have not healed. Still not over it. Maybe they’ll surprise me with Simpson but I don’t have hope for that. I’m still shaking with anger as I write this thinking how much potential he had on this series and it was for nothing. Like most shows these days another character is thrown into the scrap heap before their time. What was the point of him being introduced if they weren’t going to dabble further into his Nuke comic history? I just refuse to stop b**ching about it because its so infuriating.
Overall the Jessica Jones series for me is only partially solid. Is it my favorite MCU Netflix original series? Not by a long shot but I do think it’ll have a loyal following. I loved the first season it was edgy and smart but I hated the second season. I don’t know if season 3 will be any better after that waste of 13 hours I’ll never get back but who knows. There wasn’t much of a cliffhanger in S2 for me to even care about the next installment. Sounds harsh I know because I do love Krysten Ritter in this role. I think she carries herself masterfully. I just don’t feel S2 did her or her character any justice; if anything it hurt the future of Jessica Jones as a series for me. But that’s just my opinion.
Anyway don’t take my word for it watch the show and make your own conclusions. This has been my quick review of Jessica Jones ;)

REALMS (PT6)
REQUEST: HEY I JUST READ ALL OF YOUR FICS HEHE AND I REALLY LIKE YOUR WRITING! CAN I REQUEST A VERY PROTECTIVE DEMON!TAE FIC PLS? DOESN’T MATTER IF FLUFFY OR SMUTTY THANK YOU SO MUCH X
GENRE: Demon Au, angst
WARNINGS: Mention of death, and little bit of blood
AUTHORS NOTE: This chapter is very action filled so please bear with me as this is much needed to play out certain information regarding the MC’s. Will get back to smut & fluff soon ;) Anyway, tell me what you think!
“She remembers.”
“TAEHYUNG!”
Waves splash against the large cliff, water burning your skin as you look down at the abyss beneath you with wide eyes and a slacked jaw. Tight arms wrap around your waist, steadying you as he pulls you against him, saving you from the split second that your foot had lost its balance. You push down the cry of relief that vibrates against your lips as you’re pulled back, body arching against Taehyung’s chest as he lets out a steadying breath.
“Shit, Y/n.” He mumbles, words tickling your neck as you shut your eyes, feeling your heart slamming against your chest as you recall the moment of death that you had faced a few seconds earlier. Your knees give in on you and just as you were about to collapse onto the ground, Taehyung twists you to face him, his eyes studying you with obvious concern.
“Are you okay?” His voice cracks as he stares down at you, knowing damn well he was to blame for what had just happened.
“I’ve been better.” You croak out as you open your eyes, a squeak of surprise leaving you when you see how close his face was to yours.
“Do you feel sick, nauseas, dizzy?” Taehyung leans forward and you can’t help but struggle out of his grip, cheeks burning as you note how good it felt to have him that close to you. You recall how his lips had felt against your own earlier, your blood singing with a need to wrap your hands around him and claim his swollen lips once more. To press your body against his and feel the heat of his skin against your own as you ravished one another.
As if sensing your thoughts, Taehyung steps forward, his pupils shifting for a quick second as his eyes glance down at your lips, fingers itching to reach out to you as you take another step back. The sane part of your brain was already replaying the image of the lady in red who you had run into earlier and how Taehyung had not wasted any time to escape her presence. How Taehyung had wrapped his arms around your waist then in a blink of an eye, he had jumped, dragging you along with him and twisting your insides as you land god knows where, your body tipping towards the edge of the cliff and sending you to a possible impending death.
“Who was that?” You blurt the question out and Taehyung stiffens, hands returning to his sides as he snaps out of the trance he had set himself in. He lifts his gaze to lock with yours, lips pursing when he sees the determination in your eyes, warning him that you were not going to let the topic drop without any answers.
“No one.” The demon still tries though, watching as you let out an unbelieving scoff, eyebrow cocking up in irritation as you recall the treacherous glare the lady in red had directed at your earlier. You recall her scarlet pupils clawing into you before they were casted back towards Taehyung, the horrible intent behind them as clear as day.
“Try again, Taehyung.” You cross your arms over your chest and the demon boy bites back a groan as he turns to look back at the cliff, cursing the darkness for the way the night had turned on him.
“She’s a demon.”
“That much I could put together.” You mutter, eyes studying his features under the moonlight and to say he was beautiful was an understatement. Taehyung was ethereal, something so close to perfect that you still doubted if he was real or just another figment of your imagination, a figment of your greatest fantasy bound to disappear the moment you wake up.
“Then what else would you like to know?” He stuffs his hands into his pockets, head angling to look at you with a cock of an eyebrow.
“Why run from her?” You voice out your thoughts, head flashing with the memory of Taehyung’s face when he had laid his eyes on her. The way his body had stiffened when she had smirked at him. Why had she affected the demon boy so much? Why did he look like he was so scared to be in her presence? Why did she look like she knew him so much? Why did she—
“Y/n.” Taehyung smiles, taking a seat against one of the large boulders as he motions for you to join him
“That’s a lot of questions to be asking me at once. How about we take it one at a time, what was the first question again?”
Your eyes widen when you realized that you had spoken out loud, voicing out every question racing against your mundane mind. You feel the furious blush burning against your skin as you turn away from him, hands rubbing together as you clear your throat.
“Why’d you run from her?”
“Ah.” Taehyung nods, tongue swiping against his lips as he pushes back a smile, pleased to see the apples of your cheeks turning red.
“Well, I ran because she’s here to rip my head off of my body.” He shrugs, leaning back against the boulder like it was the most normal thing in the world to say that someone wants to rip you limb from limb. You watch as he keeps his eyes on the waves, studying the large body of water push and pull against the cliff, looking so beautiful yet still being something so completely dangerous.
Just like him.
“Care to expound?” You take the seat beside him, teeth pressing against your lower lip when you feel the heat vibrating off of him, caressing your skin deliciously as he shuts his eyes and tips his head back.
“What woman wouldn’t want to slaughter the man who left her at the altar?” He chuckles darkly and your eyes immediately widen, turning to look at him in shock as he ignores your gaze, slowly opening his eyes to look at the stars.
“She’s my—Ah no, she was my fiancée.”
Fiancée
Taehyung’s fiancée.
You swallow the lump stuck in your throat, questioning the constricting feeling against your chest. You try to nod your head, to turn away from him and find any possible way to mask the shock that vibrates against your system as you imagine him as the groom to the beautiful girl who had laid such deadly eyes on you earlier.
“I didn’t want to marry her.” Taehyung continues on, lips curling up in regret as he recalls a fond memory. He remembers the young 8 year old princess smiling down at him, eyes twinkling with fondness as she sticks her tongue out at him before skipping away, her skirt dancing with every movement.
“She wasn’t the one I was supposed to marry; I had a different fiancée before her.”
You furrow your eyebrows, showing your confusion as you lean back against the large rock behind you. You watch him in silent contemplation, lips parting when you see the look of affection that passes Taehyung features as he recalls another fond memory. Your chest constricts once more, nausea finally sweeping over you as Taehyung turns to look at you, brown eyes showing you what you had suspected all along.
Taehyung was in love with someone else.
“Who is she?”
Taehyung shrugs, mind clogged with memories of his childhood as he links his fingers with yours, wanting nothing more than to be pulled back into reality.
“A princess from my world.” Of course she would be a princess. The more you looked at Taehyung, the more you assumed that he wasn’t just a lowly demon. Taehyung looked like royalty from head to toe, his features definitely suited to be a prince.
“We have 4 kingdoms in my world, the north, south, east and west kingdoms.” Taehyung smiles “I’m a prince from the south, the youngest prince to be exact.”
“Let me guess.” You mutter, heart racing when you feel his thumb swiping back and forth against your palm “Your princess, she’s from the north?”
“Bingo.” Taehyung chuckles “She’s the only heir of the north, which is the strongest kingdom of the four. Making her the daughter of the strongest demon in our world.”
“The king?” You ask and Taehyung immediately shakes his head, nose crinkling with amusement.
“The Queen.”
You turn to look at him, eyes wide with shock to which Taehyung just chuckles as he lifts both your hands, staring at where you two are linked “The princess was her mother’s successor, predicted to be twice as strong the more that she aged. And when living in the demon world, strength meant power, and just like in every other world, power was always a dangerous thing.”
His voice is now octaves darker, gaze losing its gleam as he stares blankly at the body of water slamming against the dark rocks below.
“Did something happen to her?” You ask, feeling Taehyung’s hands shaking as his grip on you tightens, his eyes flashing with horrid memories.
“Like I said, power is a dangerous thing Y/n.” Taehyung mumbles, recalling the screams of terror and horrible cries of his mother when the news had broke out “People had heard rumors of the extent of her power, of the strength that the north kingdom was gaining. The east and west kingdom formed an alliance with some darkworlders, who were the damned of the demon world. They formed an alliance and struck while she was young, while she had no control over her powers.”
You feel your eyes prickling with tears at the pain that flashes against Taehyung’s face as he shuts his eyes, chest heaving up and down as he relives the story he had tried so hard to forget.
“They killed her?” You stutter out and Taehyung purses his lips, shaking his head as he grits his teeth.
“Not just her.” His voice shakes as a stray tear slides down his cheeks “Her entire kingdom. They killed the north.”
You slap a hand against your lips, eyes suddenly flashing with the image of a dark kingdom in flames as screams and cries shake each corner of their walls. You see a little girl in white, her once beautiful dress in shreds as she sobs, knees pressed against the ground as she watched her home fall into crumbles before her. Her eyes brimming with tears as she stares at the large building filled with fire and blood when it was once upon a time her safe haven.
Taehyung turns to look at you, watching as you meet his gaze blankly, tears streaming down your own face as you ached for the little girl in white, as you cried for the young prince who had lost the love of his life without being able to do anything.
“That girl earlier, the girl in red, she’s a princess of the east.”
You blink up at him, fresh tears spilling out of your eyes as you try to put everything together. Taehyung was a demon prince bound to marry the princess of the north, the girl who he was in love with. The princess of the north was considered one of the strongest demons in their world, that’s why the east and west kingdoms had come together to kill her before she had gotten even more powerful. And after the death of the love of his life, Taehyung had suddenly found himself forced to marry the very princess of the kingdom who had killed her.
Taehyung watches as you furiously wipe your cheeks with the back of your hands, feeling so much hurt for the demon boy who had to go through such an amount of torture that no normal being could stand. Taehyung lets out a smile, the pain in his heart subsiding as he lifts his hand, swiping his thumb against your cheeks as you do your best to push the tears away with an embarrassed laugh.
“I’m sorry, I can’t believe I’m the one who’s crying. This is about you but here I am—“ Taehyung doesn’t give you the chance to finish your sentence as his lips press against yours once more. You gasp into his mouth, the tears finally stopping as he tugs onto your wrist, pulling you towards him. He lifts you up off of the ground, allowing you to sit against his lap as his fingers wrap behind you neck, free hand pressing against your waist to push you even closer to him.
“You’re good at making the pain go away.” He mutters against your lips, making you widen your eyes for quarter a second before you’re molding into him, arms wrapping around his neck as you shut your eyes. You push back any warning thoughts in your head, savoring the feeling of his lips against yours as you slowly circle your hips onto him, pleased to hear the growl the rumbles against his throat as he tightens his hold on you.
“Do that again, sweetheart.”
“Where’s Y/n?” Yoongi breaths out, stepping away from Jimin, chest heaving from the lack of oxygen as he watches the pink haired boy frown, lips swollen and his hair a mess on his head from their previous event.
“Way to ruin the mood.” Jimin growls, a flash of red crossing his eyes before his dark orbs scan the vicinity. He lets out a frown when he notices that Taehyung was nowhere in sight, a sudden chill running through the guardian’s bones. Before he can reach out to Yoongi, it’s already too late when strong fingers wrap around the General’s neck, grip bent on breaking bone as a sinister smirk plasters itself on the assailant’s lips.
“Well well, what do we have here?” Her smooth voice dances with the wind and Yoongi lets out a choked sound as Jimin grits his teeth, staring down at the shorter girl who simply smiles up at him
“Really jimin? I’m much prettier than him.”
Yoongi balls his hands into fists, eyeing the mass of bodies surrounding them as he grits his teeth, pushing back the need to slam her against the asphalt for even daring to lay a hand on him.
“You’ll have to excuse her, General, she’s quite new.” Jimin mutters, fingers snapping before he’s wrapping his fingers around her wrist, snapping it off of the older boy’s neck. Yoongi sucks in a much needed breath, his restraint thinning as he glares at the short haired girl, watching as she frowns up at him before tugging her hand out of Jimin’s grasp.
“General?” She choruses and Yoongi’s pride gets the best of him, his eyes flashing a deadly shade of red as he glares at her. She takes a shocked step back, before letting out a scoff of disbelief
“Holy shit, and here I thought he was human.”
“Watch your tone Mera, you’re talking to one of your seniors.” Jimin warns before the sudden realization hits him.
If she was here then that had meant that—
“Where’s Princess Kira?” Jimin narrows his eyes at the younger guardian, heart hammering against his chest as a chill runs through his spine. Yoongi suddenly feels the same amount of panic, his eyes snapping around the area as he searches for you.
“Oh she’s having her fun with her dear prince.” The short haired girl hums, trying to wrap her hands around Jimin who just shoves her back, muttering curses as he starts searching for his royal. Yoongi widens his eye, watching as a red whip flashes in front of him before it’s wrapping around Jimin’s wrist to pull him back. Jimin turns his head, eyes threatening as he bares his teeth in rage.
“What the fuck do you think you’re doing, Mera?!”
“What I was ordered to do.” She grins, ignoring the curious glances of the human’s around them as she tugs her flaming lasso back, causing Jimin to fall flat against the ground with a horrible thud.
“Which is to keep you out of her way.”
“Not here, Mera.” Jimin seethes but she simply bobs her head to the side to tease him. She remains ignorant as Yoongi calls for his spear, creating a quick illusion around them to conceal them from the mass of humans that now blink in confusion, as if in a trance.
Jimin turns to Yoongi, a smile pressing against his lips when he sees the older boy’s ash blonde hair. Yoongi had the power of concealment which Jimin had no idea why he found it so completely attractive. Yoongi doesn’t spare him a glace as he waves his spear, slamming its rear against Mera’s lasso, snapping it in half as she lets out a howl of rage.
Jimin jumps to his feet, calling out his twin blades as he smirks at the shorter girl.
“Two against one? Really?” She rolls her eyes “And here I thought you guys were seniors?”
“I can see Almace in the distant, Mera.” Jimin cocks an eyebrow, directing his blade behind him as another guardian watches them from the distance.
“There are 3 more circling around.” Yoongi scoffs as he angles his head to the side, watching the rest of the guardians cornering them to attack “What a cheap tactic. Is this what you young guardians have been taught now?”
“How about you shut up old man?” She rolls her eyes “You oldies really are no fun to ambush.”
“Really, Tae?” A sudden voice from the darkness snaps Taehyung out of his reverie as he angles his head back, eyes widening in horror before he’s on his feet and blocking you form her view. The lady in red is too fast for him as she jumps out of his view before her fingers are around your throat, lifting you from the ground as your eyes widen, gripping onto her cool fingers as you start to lose the ability to breathe.
“KIRA!” Taehyung screams at the princess, watching as she smiles at him before turning to look back at you, the red of her eyes a flame against the dark night as she studies the mark on your neck “My My, has my fiancée been cheating on me?”
Taehyung grits his teeth, summoning his blade before tossing it towards her, letting the cool metal slice against her wrist before she’s hissing and tossing you back. You slide a good feet away from them, letting out choked coughs as your throat burns for air, the feel of her fingers digging into your skin still pressing against your throat.
“Where’s my brother, Kira?” Taehyung tries to distract her as she calls for her katana, his stance in a defensive position as he spares you a quick glance, thankful to see you moving after the earlier assault.
“I left him as soon as we entered this world.” She smirks, finger swiping over her scarlet lips as she takes a step towards him “God knows the honorable prince would never let me rip his own brother into shreds.”
“You shouldn’t have come here, Kira.” Taehyung frowns, watching as she lets out a scoff before crossing her arms over her chest.
“Why not? So you could live your happy life while I die in embarrassment in our world after you left me in the altar?” She grits her teeth, fingers tightening around her weapon before she’s charging forward. Taehyung rolls his eyes at the sight of her rage before he’s calling for his own sword, pleased to finally have use for it again after years of keeping it at bay. His fingers tighten around its base in familiarity, lifting it up in the air to block her hit as she bares her teeth in rage.
“You knew I couldn’t marry you!” Taehyung growls, pushing her back as he mutters a quick chant, allowing the winds to circle around them as a distraction.
“Why?” She cries, surging forward yet again, a bright light flashing as she swings her weapon, legs kicking out against Taehyung’s abdomen, sending the demon prince flying back a few steps.
“Cause you couldn’t get over that dead princess? She’s gone, Tae! You’ve got a world that needs you but you’re mourning over someone who has long been forgotten!”
Taehyung lets out a growl of anger, finally pushing himself forward as he attacks her, her words fueling a rage in him that he had always pushed down. She meets his advances head on, her other hand calling for a blade and swiping it forward to slice against Taehyung’s cheek. The demon boy immediately ducks down, using his strength to swipe against her legs before he’s wrapping his fingers against her throat.
“Your family killed her.” He seethes as she lets out a bloodied laugh. Taehyung’s eyes widen for a quick fraction, knowing the look on her face all too well. She had something up her sleeve, something wicked.
“Taehyung!!” You scream, watching in horror as the princess mutters something before a wave of black flashes before your eyes. You press your hands over your face, watching in horror as Taehyung’s arms go numb beside him, his weapon falling to the ground as he drops to his knees. Your hands start shaking as Taehyung lands against the solid ground, eyes wide in shock as he tries to move, all efforts useless as her spells digs into his blood and bones.
“Oh.” The princess smiles, tongue pressing against her teeth as she smoothes down her dress to look at him “I learned a new trick too.”
Black magic.
Taehyung grits his teeth, dotting his hatred for the two kingdoms even more. If it was true that their world was in danger, then to have demons messing around with black magic meant that the orders were truly in complete shambles. Black magic was a restricted form of sorcery that no demon was allowed to use, the deadly enchantment only allowed to be used by the strongest and eldest of demons. But all the elders were dead and now no one was allowed to handle this form of magic. Because with every form of black magic used came a price that the using demon would have to pay.
You watch in terror as the princess’s form shakes, her pearlescent skin blurring for a few seconds as a coat of oozing black blood covers her skin before she’s focusing back into her usual form. The princess stands still for a few seconds, her eyes widening in horror as she looks down at her fingers, relief flooding through her when she sees long elegant fingers rather than horrid black tendrils.
“You—You can’t use that, Kira, the side effects –“ Taehyung’s words are cut off as she wraps her fingers around his neck, lifting his limp body off of the ground as she lets her rage blind her once more. She brings his face inches away from hers, lips curled up in a sinister smirk as she sees the usually powerful prince completely under her demise.
“I don’t care about what I can and can’t do.” She hums “You can’t leave a princess in the altar then run off to the human world my dear prince, but you still did.”
“You murdered her.” Taehyung spits out, watching as a dark fog wraps around her body.
“MY GRANDFATHER DID.” She screams in rage “I had nothing to do with her, Taehyung! I was a newborn, how would I even have—“
“You would have killed her nonetheless.” Taehyung seethes “You are your father’s daughter. You are blinded by power and stature that you have no regards for anything else. You want to kill me? Why? Because I tainted your status! The powerful princess of the east nothing but a waste thrown away by the prince who refused to marry her.”
The grip on his throat tightens, blocking Taehyung’s path for breathing as she grits her teeth, summoning her katana once more. You watch in horror as she presses the tip of her sword against his chest, the sharp tip digging into the demon’s skin as he lay completely limp before her.
“You learned and practiced black magic just to you could rid me of my powers and my ability to move. Is this how you’re going to kill me? With weakness? Well then my dear princess, be my guest. And with all due respect, please return to our realm without excluding the story of how your once beautiful locks are now burning into ashes as your hunger for power is now turning you into a darkworlder.”
She lets out a cry of anger, wrist moving back to drive her weapon into him before a grip on her wrist has her freezing in place. You don’t know why you had done it, or what had pushed you to do it at all, but you found yourself with your fingers wrapped around her wrist, eyes wide with horror as you bite down onto the flesh of her skin. The act does not cause the demon princess pain but it does buy you time as she flings you back, tossing you a few feet into the air before a flash of white blinds your eyes as you scream. Hands tighten around you and suddenly you hear blades slamming against each other as you snap your eyes open, turning your head to look at your savior, finding Yoongi staring down at you in concern.
“Are you alright?” His deep voice shakes your bones and you lift your head up in shock when you find his once dark locks now colored ash white, giving the usually rude boy a more mature appearance.
“How—How did you—“ You don’t even finish your sentence when you hear a scream of pain, turning to look back at the princess who was now bending the wrist of a pink haired boy who was on his knees and fighting back tears of pain as she mutters another incantation. A fog of black escapes her mouth before entering his own and the boy falls to the ground, screams of horror vibrating against his mouth as he digs his fingers into his hair, every part of his body branded with an illusion of horrid pain.
“Yoongi, what’s going on?!” You use his arms to stand back on both your feet, eyes scanning the area for Taehyung as she smiles down at the pink haired boy, her form flicking yet again as her once red pupils turn completely black.
“Black magic.” Yoongi seethes “Y/n, we have to get out of here, this isn’t going to end well.”
“What do you mean get out of here? We can’t leave them to die!” You call out in panic, watching as she turns her head to look back at Taehyung. She no longer acknowledges your presence as her need for vengeance barricades her senses. She had come with a mission to kill and she wasn’t going to stop until she has Taehyung’s blood on her hands.
“Yes we can, and we have to.” Yoongi growls, gripping onto your arm to stop you from stepping forward “She’s using black magic, Y/n. It’s a deadly form of incantation. It’s already taking over her as we speak, she’ll no longer have control of herself if she keeps this up. She’ll kill anything and everything in sight.”
“Then she’ll kill him.” You breathe out, watching as Taehyung struggles to push himself up, falling countless times onto the cold ground as she stalks towards him, her lips pulled up in a smile of monstrosity.
“My queen.” You hear a strained voice behind you, making you snap your head back to find a bloodied short haired girl with crystals eyes, her gaze bent on the creature behind you.
“That is what you supported Mera. That is what you praised.” Yoongi hissed as he summons his spear before pointing at the possessed princess.
“I didn’t know. She didn’t tell me she was using black magic.” The young guardian cries, hand pressing against her mouth as she takes another step forward, her heart calling out to her royal who she wasn’t sure still existed.
“She’s too forgone now.” Yoongi sighs “She won’t stop until she kills him, and the only way she can is to use even more black magic. By then, your queen would already be long gone; the magic would have consumed her by then.”
You watch in complete terror as the said princess picks Taehyung back off of the ground, black tendrils pressing against his throat as the young prince tries to lash out, his will to survive still singing through his veins as he looks down at the blank void of her gaze. Taehyung’s skin starts turning blue as she sings out another chant, her voice filed with wicked demise.
“Yoongi, do something!” Your shrill cry vibrates through the dense night as you feel your insides churning at the sigh before you. Jimin grips his throat, eyes rolling to the back of his head as he tries but fails to push the burning feeling away, the sound of his master’s pain a few feet away from him doubling his own.
“I can’t, I don’t know what to do.” Yoongi mutters, feeling as hopeless as you as he watches the demon prince slowly lose his consciousness.
“I can summon him.” An idea springs to your mind, eyes widening with realization as you grip your best friend’s wrist “Yoongi, I can summon him. He’ll appear behind me if I do and he’ll be safe.”
“Y/n, no!” Yoongi warns you “If you do that she’ll come after you, you’ll be in her way. She’ll kill you.”
“IT’S THE ONLY THING I CAN DO TO SAVE HIM!” You scream, glaring at the guardian who widens his eyes at your outburst.
“It’s not your job to save him.” He whispers, a distant memory flashing through his head as he tightens his grip on his spear.
“He’s saved me more times than I can ever recall, Yoongi. I wont watch him die. It’s my turn to save him.” You growl, turning to look back at the horrific scene a few feet before you. You purse your lips, fingers pressing against the palm of your hands as you push the fear away.
“Kim Taehyung.”
“Y/n, please don’t do this.” Yoongi tugs onto your wrist but you simply brush him off, eyes intent on Taehyung who widens his own at the sound of your voice calling for him.
Y/n, listen to him. Don’t call for me. Don’t do this.
“Kim Taehyung.”
“What is she doing? She’s human, how can she summon him!” Mera gasps behind you when she sees Taehyung’s skin start to fade in and out, the flame of your summons calling to him.
“Kim Taehyung!” You scream out your final call, watching as the demon princess lets out a shriek of fury when Taehyung disappears before her own eyes, landing right behind you just as you had planned. Before you could process the situation, Yoongi tugs your hand once more, forcing you to face him as a look of intense sorrow crosses his features. He presses a palm against your cheek, free hand tugging onto something on your neck, twisting a pendant that has a bright light flashing around you both.
“I want you to know that everything I did was to keep you safe, Y/n. Your mother wanted you safe.”
Taehyung lets out a cough, his head spinning as the bright light surrounds him, slowly washing away the pain he had felt just a few seconds earlier. The young demon boy is finally able to move his limbs, lifting his hand to shield his eyes as the light fizzes out. He hears the shriek of the possessed princess a few feet away from him, furrowing his eyebrows as he lifts his gaze, finding you meeting the lucid creature head on. Kira was no longer the regal princess she was a few hours ago. After using an immense amount of black magic, her demonic strength had washed out and finally turned her into a darkworlder. Taehyung winces at the sight of her skin oozing with black blood, her once long black hair now dried up into dead gray strands, her beautiful red dress ripped at the edges as long claws now replaced her once beautiful fingers.
“General Min, save her.” Taehyung croaks out, watching as Kira raises one arm to strike at you but before the demon boy could even blink an eye, your arm is reaching out to stop the demon princess’s advances. Taehyung’s eyes widen in astonishment when he hears the cry of pain that escapes Kira’s mouth, her jaw slacking as she struggles against your grip.
The princess uses her free hand to strike at you but you’re already tossing her back, causing her to fly meters away from you as your stance suddenly changes, ready for another attack. Taehyung pushes himself off of the ground, hands pressing against his abdomen as he tries to understand what was happening. All sanity immediately leaves the young demon when you angle your head back, gaze locking with his own and leaving him at a loss for words when your eyes shift blood red.
The eyes of a demon.
“What are you?!” Kira screams, her voice sounding much like broken glass as she rockets forward, katana in her hands in a motion to strike. You dig your foot against the solid earth, twisting it clockwise before you’re summoning a sword out of the ground, ripping it out of time and space before you’re blocking her hit, metal pressing against metal. Your mind is void, all forms of logical thinking placed on hold as you feel a numbing throb against your head. Each movement of your advances seeming like something your body had memorized as you slash forward.
“I’ll kill you.” The demon princess seethes and you can’t help but smirk as you twist your body, slamming the butt of your sword against her ribcage to enrage her.
“You’ve tried once, princess. I’d like to see you fail one more time.” You don’t know where your voice was coming from, your consciousness feeling so far away as you watch her stalk towards you before you’re summoning your sword away. Kira lets out a howl of success, pleased to see you gone with your weapon as she wraps her hands around your neck, claws digging into your skin with intent to kill. You watch the look of terror the crosses the creature’s features, the sound of her palms fizzing as she holds on to you, a cry of pain escaping her as she drops her grip. You don’t back down though, stepping forward to press the palm of your own hands against her arms, watching as she thrashed and cried as her skin burned due to your touch.
Taehyung steps forward, eyes widening in alarm when he sees the extent of your power. He had only known one demon in his entire lifetime to have that type of power. The kind of power to be able to project any type of pain once she holds onto her assailant.
And Taehyung even still had the scars on his palm to prove it.
Taehyung turns to Yoongi, finally piecing each amount of information together, his heart hammering against his chest as memories of his childhood finally flood back into his mind in full force. He watches as you smirk down at the creature, eyes void of any emotion as you tighten your grip on her, finally breaking bone.
“Your grandfather killed my family; maybe I should pay him back by killing you?”
“Y/n, stop!” Yoongi screams, using his spear to slam against your wrist, finally causing you to break your hold on the demon princess who collapses onto the ground, her horrid form washing away as she returns into her regality. Her guardian immediately speeds to her aid, wrapping her arms around her royal who had now lost consciousness, lying lifeless against the hard ground.
Jimin, who lies a few feet from them, finally lets out a breath, the pain finally fading away as he sits up, searching for his own royal with a sigh of relief when he sees the young prince standing on his own two feet.
Taehyung’s eyes are focused solely on you as you snap out of the trance you were in earlier, the humanity finally brimming back into your eyes as you take a step back. A sharp pain shoots through your chest as a flood of memories cascade into your mind, causing you to slap a hand over your mouth as tears immediately stream down your face. You let out a cry of torture, your knees giving in on you as you collapse to the ground, the image of every person you’ve ever loved swallowing you whole.
“What’s wrong with her?” Taehyung watches you let out scream after scream, hands clenching against your chest as you shake your head, the pain suddenly too much to handle.
Yoongi shuts his eyes, his own heart clenching in pain as he grits his teeth, the guardian’s heart aching for his royal.
“She finally remembers everything.”
