#not my post#booktok#anti booktok#like im not mad at “bad literature” im mad they want us to pay $20 for stuff written just as schlocky as unedited un-beta'd#written at 3 in the morning fan fic but without half the soul put into it and without establishing an actual character#and not just a bunch of tag lines#and that everyone else is expected to write the same way in order to sell anything!!!!#it makes me so smad. melancholy. fuckin morose and devastated that books are being pushed towards being formulaic#the point of a book is to tell a story Your way - in Your Own Words and hopefully you get weird about it!!!!!!
