do you have advice for a younger writer who is really just trying to find my community? ALSO ILYSM!!!!!!
hello!! i personally feel advice isn't my strong suit, but i will do my best <3.
as someone who started writing at eleven and only started sharing it in the past few years, i completely understand feeling out of place and unseen by people you look up to and/or admire. what worked for me was making my space in the writing world, writing things i enjoyed and sharing them. for example, i write a lot of fanfiction, and i have made a few life long friends because i shared it with the world.
engagement won't be incredible at first, but if you write something you love and are proud of, at least one person will find it and fall in love with it. that's what happened for me, and some of my writing friends have had similar experiences.
you have to start small! don't be discouraged by low views or little likes. it's hard to get started, but once you do, you'll be so proud of yourself!
i would also recommend engaging in other peoples' writing as well. leaving a comment, striking up a conversation, even just reblogging something you find great is a fantastic way to feel more included in a community.
i'm not sure if this is the kind of advice you were looking for, but i do hope it was worth the read! it can be scary entering a new space and trying to see where you fit, but if you carve out that space you want, others will come join you. that's what happened for me, and i hope it works for you <3.

I think at first you reminded me of Nao Egokoro
That was mostly superficial association based on your earlier avatar where I saw a fluffy hair and decided "this is totally Nao". Not to mention that you are an artist like her, so I thought that perceived similarity was intentional
Now I don't really think of any fictional characters when I think about you, but the most accurate would be a child of Naoreko. Reko has the cool big sis energy with amazing style and Nao is talented and sweet, so combination of them would get me think of you
AHHHHHH THAT'S SO SWEET <333
I love Nao and Reko so being their love child is something special. And I am happy you think of me like that!

s i’m genuinely so heartbroken over chris rn maybe it’s a little silly and i understand if u don’t want to discuss personal stuff lol. ofc i’m happy for him and all but still it feels like our little bubble got shattered idk. i’m surviving by quoting taylor swift β€œyou weren’t mine to lose”
For other people, feel free to block Alba's tag or, for my blog specifically, "real life real people" if seeing this stuff bothers you. I don't plan to discuss more of Chris' real personal life, nor do I plan to change the content of my blog, but I did want to address this ask.
Hey, sweetheart
First, I can certainly say that you're not alone--I actually happened upon a random article when I opened Google on my phone with the headline, "Actor Chris Evans Married, Millions of Women Heartbroken," which made me chuckle.
I've been purposefully avoiding large swaths of the fandom myself right now, there are people saying Horrible shit and/or having overblown reactions, but I know other people feel like you do. Sad or heartbroken as well as happy. Bittersweet, perhaps?
Even if you realistically know there's no way you would've ever actually ended up with Chris, there's part of your brain that's attached to him, regardless. The parasocial relationship in your brain. And that's okay. It's very human. We're not built for the vastness that is modern society. World-class celebrities. Much less celebrities with a seemingly personal relationship to you through this crazy fucking shit that is social media. Our brains can't cleanly separate who is a part of your life, in your immediate reality like friends and family and community, and who is indirectly a part of your life, in your phone or TV.
You're entitled to your feelings.
And change is scary and upsetting, even if your immediate reality doesn't exactly change.
I hope you can focus on the happiness for him. That's difficult and easier said than done, of course, but it'll probably be what pulls you through <3
(Or, y'know, if you need, you can always step back from fandom and whatnot for as long as you need to pull yourself out of it more. Whatever you need to do! Also, remember that if you continue to feel sad and heartbroken, you should consider talking to someone about it. A friend, a therapist, etc.)

It honestly means so much to me that Sherlock & Co had Sherlock state that he was AuDHD because Sherlock is literally what got me to start researching ASD/ADHD and I realized after much research that I was AuDHD. It changed my whole world and validated so much of my life to learn that and made me understand why I do things a certain way. It’s also made my parents understand, it’s been in our family for a very long time (based on the behaviors of my family members).
It just means a lot that this character that I’ve adored for so long and relate to so much, openly states being AuDHD. I honestly can’t even put into words how happy that makes me. I feel like other adaptions of Sherlock have skimmed over it but haven’t really spoke openly about it.

I can't even with Disney+ right now: they released The Eras Tour video and organized their content based on Taylor Swift's album names:
