Pearls are so good. Like most places I go to don’t add anything to the pearls so it’s just bland squishy balls but the place I frequent adds I think honey to sweeten them. It’s all fun and games until you go outside and see a mountain of snow waiting for you to be shovelled. But there are some good aspects to winter, like skating and skiing and all that fun stuff. you hear noises the moment you go out from your apartment, seeing boxes on the floor outside this one particular door

and you guessed that it’s the new neighbor that everyone has been talking about

you didn’t know what is the deal though because it’s just another neighbor, staying in the same apartment floor as you

but at the same time you did want to know who is this person that would be living there

and to your luck, you see two guys appearing from the lift and make their way to the door

one, is however looking grumpy over the box he had to carry as the other one is laughing happily while carrying another box

“hey new neighbor?” you greet them both, showing your welcome smile to them and you’re glad that they greet you back

and you’re not sure which one is the new neighbor yet though because it seems like these two guys know a lot about each other to the fact that both of them sound like they’re both living at that apartment

and you hope it’s the one laughing before, because he has the cutest smile you had ever seen

“so which one of you agreed to live in this expensive apartment?” you joke, which they both laugh genuinely upon it and you suddenly feel smitten over them looking adorable at your sight

“him. because he’s richer than me” you see the one being grumpy before pointing at the other guy, before receiving a shove on the elbow

“that’s not true. we both earn the same”

and you see the grumpy, being not so grumpy anymore, giving you this funny looking face while he shakes his head over that statement

and you finally take in their names, ong being the grumpy one just now and daniel, the cute guy with the cute smile

after that day, you actually barely bump into daniel at all and you assumed it’s because of his work

you both have different working time, yours being early in the morning while daniel is probably working at night

and when you do bump into daniel like once in every two months, it turns awkward because you both barely talk to each other which leads to you getting shy whenever his lips curve into a cheeky smile and greets you at the hallway

you obviously has a tiny crush on daniel and it’s weird because you don’t see him often nor talk to him but he sometimes come into your head and play with your feelings

and you always put that feelings as good because daniel was supposedly nice and friendly

but one day when you went out from your apartment room in the morning and daniel came out from the lift, you saw his head was down and he had a bruise on his left cheek and he had like blood on his hand

and you were honestly concerned but daniel didn’t mutter any words at all when he saw you looking at him

and he just went straight to his apartment and shutting his door loudly

and after that you were just scared of daniel and tried not to bump into him again

with that cute looks of him, you were definitely got deceived by a lot and you mentally curse at yourself because he looked a little hot too but ‘that wasn’t the point, y/n because he could be a killer or something’

so every time you see him, you just put your guards up and dashes out from your apartment and it’s funny actually because you look so damn afraid and daniel is just standing there, doing nothing, as he sees you pushing the lift button aggressively

and you don’t care if you looked like a maniac because all you care is your SAFETY

but then that night, when you’re about to push the button to go up to your apartment after a very tiring day, daniel suddenly enters the lift

and you’re really surprised because he usually wouldn’t be in the apartment at that hour

and to make things worst is that it’s only you and daniel in the lift and you just want to cry for help

and daniel being super quiet could meant you’re probably going to get killed by him tonight

honestly you just hate the negativity you have in your mind right now and you just want to get out the moment the lift brings you to your floor

but it decides to make this new noise you never heard before and you panic because the lift suddenly stops moving and you see the number not moving to your floor at all

and you’re cursing under your breath while trying to remain calm but daniel is still there and this could possibly the last day for you to live

“hey, are you okay?”

you see daniel’s hand coming towards you and you slap it away, with your other arm covering your face

“don’t kill me please”

and daniel has this ‘what the hell’ look on his face and he’s laughing so hard

and you’re thinking like isn’t he supposed to have an evil laugh and not a very adorable laugh ever???

“you’re funny, y/n”

“well it’s not going to be funny if i get killed so back off”

and daniel gets really amused by you because you look scared yet tough at the same time and he tries to lessen the tension between you both

daniel laughs again and you’re tired of hearing it because is he playing with you so he could proceed with his murder plan

and for a while you really thought you have a hearing problem because did daniel say he’s an actor

“i see…….” and you’re avoiding looking at him and he find you cute with your current state

“is that why you always run to the lift whenever you see me? because i could be a killer?”

“okay first of all, i did not run–”

daniel gives you a knowing look and you just let out a weak laugh, “okay the whole sentence that you said is true”

“at least now you don’t need to run anymore”

and everything turns quiet, with the lift not moving at all

“should we call the maintenance office?”

you nod to daniel and he dials the number paster on the lift, finally talking to the person in charge before hanging up

“we have to wait for 30 minutes”

and you sigh because you’re so tired and you just want your bed and fall asleep

and by the looks on daniel’s face, he seems to want it too

you furrow your eyebrows, wondering why he’s suddenly asking

“since we don’t meet often, maybe it’s time to get to know each other”

daniel smiles at you and it’s that smile that you like when you first saw him and the atmosphere becomes lighter and better than just now

and for that long but sweet 30 minutes in the lift, you got to know daniel a lot more and it honestly deepen your crush on him

and he knows about you too and it’s a nice feeling to see someone actually wanting to know who you really are

and daniel always seems to show his interest to you whatever you’re talking about and he really is a nice person to be around with

and when the lift finally opens, you’re a little sad because your time with daniel is over and daniel seems happy that the lift is open and you’re about to just say goodbye to him

but he’s like wait a minute

and you halt your movement and see him rummaging his bag for something

and it’s a ticket and you’re trying to read what is it about

“it’s my first acting performance on stage, i’d like you to come and watch it”
