hey Ashley actually makes me fucking insane by the way

Insane thought but. Ashely and Spencer. With how often people are saying Ashley turned into a monster after taking the V I keep thinking about Spencer finding that monster and, whether she recognizes it as Ashely or not, she knows its human so she keeps it like a pet while she runs tests and tries to make it human again. She feeds the thing, bathes it, finds clothes that fit its mutated form when it expresses shame. Its toxic and weird and kinda gross but it might be the only way Spencer can actually love someone, if they were a science project first.

"We could just go! We could go!" (Ash talking to A-Train) but its Spencer talking to Ashely after fixing whatever the fuck the V did to her (and explained that it only happened bc she put it in her arm you silly woman it goes in your spinal chord) but Ashley found her predator drive while being a mutated monster and wants Spencer to inject her with V correctly so she can help fight Homelander even if it means dying in the process. Spencer wants so badly to just run away with Ashely but neither of them can leave at this point. They're in too deep. They have to fight.

Since I've been chugging that isekai Reader x yandere Chocobros juice, there's another idea I figured I'd share! (Most of these are specifically for a female Reader though so keep that in mind)

So the general idea up to this point has been "Reader is from America and trying to find their way home somehow" and along the way the bros are hearing all these stories about your homeland and what kind of place it was, which, leaves them more than just a little hesitant to even let you try and look for a way back honestly --between shitty healthcare, rampant social issues, economic inequality, so on so forth-- but they're traveling for their own reasons and take you along for the journey, since this is kind of a special case. The Crown Prince just happening to bump into a visitor from another world? It must be fate! It's only an extra bonus that they become so attached to you, really

So imagine if, after months of traveling together and bonding and such, if the group were to bump into ANOTHER otherworlder like you, also from America! You're so excited for your first (and only, tbh) major clue, though your companions are a little more hesitant because, frankly, they don't want you going home at this point, but they play friendly for your sake.

And this other otherworlder, who we'll call Curtis for now, is pretty alright at first, but eventually turns out to be one of the biggest assholes the group has ever met, just an uncanny amalgamation of all of these negative ignorant mindsets. He acts friendly and puts up a front to the guys, but he's shitty to you when you're in private, ESPECIALLY if you're a woman. He finds his own spot in the group and deliberately tries to drive a wedge between you and the guys because, the way Curtis sees it, you're just the dumb girl of the group, piggy-backing off of all the men's hard work, and he'll eventually start telling you as such, breaking down your confidence, belittling you. He'll make you doubt yourself and doubt how close you really are to your new friends, making little comments that freak you out or hurt your feelings and cause you to avoid your new companions

"Oh, you guys were sharing a tent before, huh? Didn't know you were that kind of woman."

"Hey, why not get me and the fellas a couple of cold ones, sweetheart? Since you were here at camp while we were out hunting."

"You should try and learn some more from Ignis. A woman should know how to actually cook a decent meal or two, you know."

"So, like, these boys are fighting monsters and you can't even... help shoot a gun? ...pffft."

You eventually reach your breaking point when Curtis becomes more openly rude towards, well, everyone in the group after about a month or so. His attempts to try and get the guys to abandon you have failed, his attempts to run you off aren't working fast enough for his liking, and he's finally letting more of his true colors show. He's a blatant misogynist, he's racist, refusing to eat Takka's food or respectfully speak to Dr. Yeagre, and eventually, he starts insulting your four new friends, and that's when you finally have enough. The guys were just being good friends and physically affectionate with each other when Curtis makes some homophobic comment like "yeesh, good thing I have my own tent, bunch of fruits" and none of the Lucians even know what that means, but you do, and you finally stand up to him, SO upset as you start scolding him, getting so angry you're crying

"How dare you?! After we've been helping you and traveling with you, you're going to treat them like that?! After Ignis has been cooking your food, and Gladio helping protect you from monsters, and Prompto--"

And Curtis just. Slaps you hard enough that it knocks you down and starts launching into a tirade about how you're the last person who gets to tell him what to do, that "you stole his adventure". It turns out he had appeared in Lucis not too far from where you had been transported to and blames you for every single hardship he faced before encountering the group. He could have been running around with a group of magic-using young guys, having a blast in their fancy car, having some sort of grand destiny like one big video game, but they found you instead of him. He's spoiled, he's selfish, and he's had it; he's ready to actually fucking kill you to get you out of his way

But your new friends won't let him. Now that he's shown his true self, the men have had enough. They were putting up with his behavior for your sake, but now that it's apparent that Curtis is the source of your recent depression, that the man has been belittling you in secret, and now has had the audacity to physically hurt you, they don't care anymore; he's got to go.

Ignis takes you by the hand and leads you away from the camp to soothe your tears elsewhere as the boys begin to demand Curtis gets his things and leaves, but really, that's just a front while you're in earshot. When you finally return, Curtis is gone without a trace, and there's particular bruises on some of the men's knuckles.

They're left to try and piece your wounded confidence back together as they all secretly decide, hey, if we meet another outsider, maybe you don't need to know about it. After all, just look at what kind of person Curtis turned out to be! They don't need to let you go back to a world filled with people like that, now do they? Just stay here in Lucis, just stay here with them

Favourite RotE Book: Fool’s Errand is overall the book that I found the most riveting from start to finish, and it is probably the one I’ve read most quickly.

Why: I really liked the Old Blood storyline, getting to know Dutiful (RIP his poor cat, this part was so sad) and of course Fitz and the Fool’s reunion. Although I really loved parts of Assassin’s Quest and Fool’s Fate, there were chapters that bored/annoyed me in these two so I can’t say they’re my favourites. I haven’t read the Liveship Traders and the last trilogy and I’m three quarters in The Rain Wild Chronicles, so this might change later.

Top Three Favourite Characters: the Fool gets 1st place obviously, and then I guess it’s between Kettricken and Sedric. Dutiful, Patience and Thymara almost made it there too. No, Fitz didn’t make it. More about this below 👇🏻

Top Three Least Favourite Characters: apart from the bad guys, Tats (man do I hate this dude), and probably Chade or Burrich.

And then here comes the unpopular opinion... (please don’t hate me)

Fitz. I just don’t like him. Yes, I feel bad for him sometimes, as I would for any human being who faces injustice and loss. But other than that I think he’s just an oblivious, self-centered man with anger issues 🙄 And I just can’t forget nor forgive some of the things he’s done. Tbh the fact that I was able to put up with him being the narrator for so many books is a testament to Robin Hobb’s writing.

I asked my gf why Fitz was her favourite character, and she says it’s like having a brother or a son whom you love no matter how he keeps fucking up. I get what she means. I would probably love him and find ways to excuse his behaviour if he were my little brother. He’s not, though.  #sorrynotsorry

Favourite Ship (of the floating kind): I’ll go with Tarman since I don’t really know Paragon, but from what I’ve heard I think I’d like him.

Top Three Favourite Ships (of the people kind): Fitz/The Fool, Fitz/Kettricken (so much better than Fitz/Molly imho, there’s so much more between them than just physical attraction), aaand I don’t really know who else to add so I’ll just say Carson/Sedric even though I don’t like Carson all that much. However had it been more canon I would have said Patience/Lacey.

Would you rather be Witted or Skilled: Skilled I guess, although I would have a hard time restraining myself. Being Witted sounds great but it also sounds like a lot of pain, and I don’t think you need a special magic to be able to emphatize with animals and feel your place among all living things.

If you were Witted, what animal would you bond with?: I’d probably be stalking all the feral cats in the neighboorhood to try and bond with them... I would also go after wild cats (I especially love manuls even though I don’t live anywhere near them), and corvids and big catfishes as well. I like foxes, but I’m not sure they would suit my personnality very well.

Would you rather live in the Outislands, the Mountain Kingdom, the Six Duchies, Bingtown, the Rain Wilds, Kelsingra, Jamaillia, the Pirate Isles, or Fool’s Homeland?: The Mountain Kingdom and Kelsingra sound peaceful enough for me, though the latter might change by the time I’ve finished reading the Rain Wild Chronicles. Also I barely know anything about Jamailla and the Fool’s land.

How were you introduced to the books? Some mutual friends told my gf @blackandwhitemotley and I about the books. She began reading them and then coerced convinced me to give them a try! 👍

1: What’s the maximum amount of time your character can sit still with nothing to do?Probably a very short amount of time.... He has like, a lot of energy

2 How easy is it for your character to laugh? Its hella easy to make him laugh!! He is almost always laughing and smiling... He is a very positive fella

3: How do they put themselves to bed at night (reading, singing, thinking?) Either thinking or playing his flute or pipes!!

4: How easy is it to earn their trust? Its pretty easy, especially since he is oblivious to a lot of things, including bad ones

5: How easy is it to earn their mistrust? Not sure???? Probably a little harder, but not really hard.

6: Do they consider laws flexible, or immovable? he definitely considers them flexible.

7: What triggers nostalgia for them, most often? Do they enjoy that feeling? Probably things like jungles, treehouses, other kind of nature things... and yeah!! He likes the feeling!!

8: What were they told to stop/start doing most often as a childA LOT of things... He was a big trouble maker. Mostly was told not to do things like, something dangerous, doing/saying something too quickly, getting into fights, that sort of thing. and the thing he was told to start doing most???? Grow up

9: Do they swear? Do they remember their first swear word?Yeah he swears as much as the next guy tbh, but probably doesnt remember his friend swear because he has been living for so long

10: What lie do they most frequently remember telling? Does it haunt them? He’s actually a pretty honest guy!!! He even tells the mundies that he’s Peter Pan, but he’s actually like.... Pretending, to pretend he’s Peter Pan??? So when someone is being 100% serious when asking if he actually is, he lies and says that he isn’t. But I think the lies that actually haunt him, maybe not now, but definitely when he was still married to his wife, was that he actually still liked her and continued to stay with her

11: How do they cope with confusion (seek clarification, pretend they understand, etc)? He would try really really hard to understand, but if he cant, then he’ll pretend to understand

12: How do they deal with an itch found in a place they can’t quite reach? He would ask people to get it for him, and probably make the other person feel hella awkward wile he’s just like “Thank u pal”

13: What color do they think they look best in? Do they actually look best in that color? Green!! He thinks and does look best in green!!!

14: What animal do they fear most? He doesn’t fear animals that much actually??? I think the only time he would be afraid of an animal is if they’re acting aggressive towards him tbh

15: How do they speak? Is what they say usually thought of on the spot, or do they rehearse it in their mind first? Its always. on the spot. He almost never thinks it out. The only time he thinks of it out is if he has time and if its something he’s nervous about, but even then, he usually doesn't come out the way he wanted

16: What makes their stomach turn? When people believe the rumors/lies told about his childhood, things that make him super nervous, thinking about things he has to admit sooner or later, those kind of things

17: Are they easily embarrassed? No, not really :0

18: What embarrasses them? When people talk about embarrassing things he did, especially if its in front of someone like Boy Blue. He gets awkward embarrassed

When you love someone, and you like, want to date them and get married and kiss them and fuck them and whatnot. Platonic love is where you’re like, ‘DAMN! I LOVE MY FRIEND!!’ but not in the romantic way. You just like them as a friend. Familial love is, y’know, you love your parents??? Your kids???? Your siblings?????? Its close to platonic but also... not....”

If he was jealous abt someone interacting with Blue, then yeah, he might be a little possessive or/and aloof, but he’ll probably just show off in front of the other person, make them feel like a third wheel

23:How does envy manifest itself in them (they take what they want, they become resentful, etc)? He usually just... Tries to let it pass.... But might... just might..... become resentful..... But it would be rare

24: Is sex something that they’re comfortable speaking about? To whom? Yeah he’s totally fine with it. I think the only time he would be uncomfortable about talking about it is with straight people. Especially straight girls. Unless its about him doing it, then its fine

25: What are their thoughts on marriage? He’s fine w it!!! He gets married himself! :0 

26: What is their preferred mode of transportation? He just... takes a car..... But in places like the farm (and if/when he goes to the homelands), he likes to fly!!! 

27: What causes them to feel dread? His friends being hurt.... He gets so scared when his friends are hurt

29: Do they usually live up to their own ideals? Sure!!! He’s got a boyfriend and a good job, he doesn’t really have any ideals past that???? He is also pretty powerful, so thats a plus

34: How hard is it for them to shake a sense of guilt? Not hard probably fndjsbkds he’ll probably just end up forgetting about it......

35: How do they treat the things their friends come to them excited about? Are they supportive? He gets excited with them!!! He’s so happy they’re happy!!!!!!

38:What memory do they revisit the most often? His childhood adventures!!!

40:How sensitive are they to their own flaws?He isn’t sensitive abt them that often, pretty much the only time he is is if someone pointed them out. Other than that, he’s oblivious 

41:How do they feel about children? He loves them!!!! Pretty much the only reason he pretends, to pretend to be Peter Pan, is so when he’s cutting a kid’s hair, he can get them all happy and excited n stuff.... 

42:How badly do they want to reach their end goal? I dont think??? He really has one??? Its hard for fables to have an “end goal” because they live for so long 

43: If someone asked them to explain their sexuality, how would they do so? He just... Tells them he only likes men..... He’s gay..... (I wont explain his backstory on it rn because.... spoilers....)

B) What inspired you to create them?I had always wanted to make a Fables oc that was Peter Pan, so I did!! Peter Pan is like..... one of my favorite fables......

D) Have they always had the same physical appearance, or have you had to edit how they look?He has changed a little, but not much!!! Though his first concept art is.... Ugly.....

G) What trait of theirs bothers you the most?Idk if this is what this means but uhh.... He was born a human, yeah???? But when/after he was raised by fairies, he’s half fairy???? Im thinking that the fairies like.... Changed him...... idk
