How I imagine the tumblr housamo fandom whenever we’re analyzing and discussing the writing and how it ties back to the og myths, stories, and history.
#ramblings#it always makes me happy seeing folks have these kinds of discussions X3#separate topic: i know it’s a joke to say ‘never look at the wiki comments’ but nobody tells you to not look at the app store reviews#and i saw one bad review out of curiosity and it made me so annoyed#maybe cuz I’m the type to take reviews seriously (thanks to sometimes needing to review productions for college stuff) but like…#it genuinely irked me that the reviewer clearly didn’t care to engage with the material in any way beyond instant gratification.#the lack of articulation KILLS me sometimes. It’s one thing to not like the more exposition-heavy storytelling#it’s a separate thing entirely to be skipping the story and refuse to engage with it as intended.#i just don’t find that helpful in a review.#I also hate when reviewers lean into queerphobic (and xenophobic) rhetoric but that’s a topic for another day 😵💫
