#it HAS to be possible to both save nessa and kill yurgir right??

apparently the yurgir quest was broken too so I had to fix it and lost most of the progress I made today 🥲 thankfully I did not do the gauntlet trials yet because if that was the case I really woulda just like. gone to bed at 4pm

I just went straight to yurgir the second time around instead of seeing balthazar first. but then the quest broke AGAIN because I wanted to pretend to go along with yurgir's plan for the sole purpose of getting nessa on my side (durge!aune was friends with a displacer beast in her youth so she was feeling unexpectedly sympathetic)

and I guess the game didn't like that? because once I turned on yurgir and killed him in battle, the quest didn't mark as completed in the journal, raphael never showed up in camp afterwards, etc.

the journal entry read as though I needed to figure out how to break the contract despite yurgir already being dead. (it did say underneath the entry title "the orthon is dead", but the quest was still active.) I figured MAYBEEE I need to solve the justiciar rat thing, so I did that and it changed nothing 🙃

last time I played was weeks ago. I had quickly run through the araj interaction so I could see that version of astarion's confession. after it was done I was like "well, I'm already here, might as well get a quick kiss in before I revert my save" and it was BROKEN

and it discouraged me so much that I just stopped lol

but anyway now I'm ready to go back and see my babies and go fuck up yurgir and see balthazar and... and... lead shadowheart down the wrong path *takes 10d6 psychic damage*
