Why not put Isaac in a version of the slappy stays au like where slappy stays but Isaac basically gets adopted emotionally by stone (I imagine Isaac is a neighbour who visits often after the whole fiasco in the movie)

You mention the Slappy Stays au but Stine isn't really in this au(Only in SS au Old Faces). It's the Quinn family that adopts Slappy, so I'm not sure if you are talking about the au where Stine lives with Hannah and Slappy called the Reunion au (which I haven't posted yet due to me wanting to add stuff)

My idea was that Stine wanted to scare Slappy with Darkwell coming out of the book but when he finished with the book, Issac was the one that fell out and Stine has no idea what to do now.

Also feel free to give more ideas because I can see an au with Issac being a neighbor to Stine but also to the Quinn family.
