3. what song(s) do you listen to when you do art?

since i was kinda specific w the last one for part of it, artists i listen to most are: a day to remember; hands like houses; pierce the veil; sea in the sky; i literally have the music taste of an early 2010's emo kid cept for that last one and ig im stuck here 😔 if it bops, who am i to judge

honest to god i hate drawing hair in general but, long hair is at least manageable because its in larger chunks and/or tied back. that makes painting it as individual strands SO much harder so its!! hm!!

Back Home Safe

But everytime I leave Chicago, I miss it that much more. And home feels a little less like home. Maybe it's because this is the transitional phase. The end of an era, beginning of a new, that kind of poetic stuff. Maybe friends are becoming strangers, and my life is trying to start over again in a place I visit maybe twice a month. Seeing my best friend in his lofty little apartment, setting up shop at various schools for a job I shouldn't have yet. I'm just passing through. But soon, I'll have a new home. Yeah, soon.
