I never brought it up, I wanted you to be your own pirate, but I can't say I wasn't surprised when I heard the missing Denholm brother had washed ashore and joined the Nightingales.

Not that you ever have to live up to anyone's expectations, but just know that you're always capable of going far beyond them. As all pirates do, you've got some rough choices ahead. Just know you'll always have a family in the Nightingales.

My eyes were finally back to Amber, I was so happy. 

I decided to make my dress for Bella and Edwards' wedding, a little skill I had picked up when I was human, and continued as a vampire. The dress was beautiful, I decided to got with a charmeuse cut, it was modest enough to only show my boobs a little, and the dress dipped down the show my back., along with a slit on the left leg side. It was a gorgeous aqua colour and I had a pair of heels to match. And I couldn't wait for Paul to see it. 

I decided as my dress was busy, I'd keep my hair simple, putting it in a half bun, half down, I curled it as well. 

Alice and Rosalie helped Bella get ready, I stayed downstairs, welcoming guests. 

"Y/N" A voice suddenly gasped, I had hoped it was Paul. But Mike walked in, followed by Jess, Angela and Eric. "You look stunning" Mike added, I smiled and thanked him. 

"Save me a dance later?" He then asked. I shrugged, feeling slightly awkward. Jess smiled at me, and then asked. 

"Is this because Bella got knocked up?" 

I rolled my eyes, and directed them in to where they could sit. 

"And I thought It was impossible for you to get more beautiful!" 

I turned around to see Paul, Billy and Seth. I smile widened. I skipped over and threw my arms around Paul. "I missed you" I whispered in his ear, I could feel him smile against my cheek. He wrapped his arms around me and I felt hands touch my back making me shiver. The only time I felt warm was when he touched my skin. I was obsessed with it. 

I pulled away, and greeted Billy and Seth. Billy was polite, but I could feel he didn't want to be here, and he didn't feel safe. Seth however, greeted me with a smiled and a hug. It made me giggle.

"If you'd like to go in, you have some seats with your names on them, together" I smiled. Esme suggested Paul sit with me and the family, but I thought that might scare him off. 

After a little while, everyone had arrived, Alice said I could sit down along with our family. I walked towards them at the very front, but stopped at Paul to steal a quick kiss, and then rushed to my seat next to Jasper. We decided, since there were so many humans here today, that Jasper was on guard duty to keep my mood as calm and content as he possibly could.

Soon, Edward was at the front of the isle, looking probably the smartest I'd ever seen him. There was a part of me, that was focusing on Paul, whom was only a few rows back from me, I could feel his imprint if I concentrated enough. It made me feel so warm and loved. 

The music started, Bella and Charlie started walking down the isle, looking so fancy. Bella's dress was amazing, she looked so beautiful. I was still jealous of her shoes, I want those shoes. I may have to buy myself some. 

After a few minutes, the wedding started, everyone sat down and listened to the couple say their vows. I must admit, this part of weddings bored me, I think I only really enjoyed the party part, I could drink and dance until my heart felt content. I was also very excited to have a dance partner the entire evening. I looked back slightly, to see Paul, his eyes on me not Bella and Edward. I smirked, and blow a kiss. He pretended to catch it. 

God we were cringe. I love it. 

Finally the party had begun. Everyone was dancing it was great, Well everyone but Paul, he was standing with Billy, whilst I was talking to Carmen, we were having the blood talk and even from here I could see Paul frowning. 

"I'm so glad you haven't fed again Y/N" Carmen smiled, I nodded in agreement.

"Paul helps a lot" I smiled, Paul's head pricked up at the sound of his name. 

"Paul? Your boyfriend?" She asked, I nodded, and pointed him out. He didn't look the happiness. I knew it was difficult to be around this many vampires. 

"A wolf?" She questioned. I nodded. 

"If you'll excuse me" I smile, walking over to Paul, and holding my hand out. "Care to dance?" I asked. 

He smiled, taking my hand, I could feel his anxiety. I hated how I couldn't help. 

"Like our first meeting" He smiled, putting his warm hands on my lower back, as I put my arms around his neck, I felt his goosebumps against my arms.  

"Our first meeting was at Sam's, remember?" I asked, resting my head on his shoulder. He chuckled. 

"I thought maybe, we could just say prom was our first meeting"

I nodded, agreeing. That was a nicer memory. 

We swayed for a little while, happy in our own little bubble, actually I think it may have been for a long time. It was light out when we started dancing, it was now dark out. I loved being in Paul's arms. It made me feel content. Safe. And I could feel how happy he felt too, he felt exactly how I felt. I was starting to fall hard. 

Suddenly, Paul's head perked up away from resting on mine. 

"What?" I asked. His head cocked to the side like he was listening, I copied and listened. 

"Jacob" We both whispered. He nodded, and grabbed my hand, we rushed outside where Bella, Edward and the wolves were in their human form. 

Sam was trying to calm Jacob down, and Bella looked like she was ready to cry. 

"Jacob, leave it!" Sam yelled. Jacob growled and ran off into the woods. 

"Seth, Paul let's go!" Sam added, I frowned and took hold of Paul's hand. "Don't go" I whispered. He looked at me with those sad puppy dog eyes. 

"I have to obey" He whispered back, kissing my forehead and leaving. 

I turned to Edward and Bella. "Well, the night is still young" I said, trying to smile. 

I rushed back inside and felt a rush of calm wash over me. I spotted Jasper in the corner and smirked. I stalked over to him. 

"Care to dance?" I asked, smiling. He nodded and took my hand.

"I'm sorry Paul had to leave" He frowned and spun me around.

I spent the rest of my night dancing with each family member and few other people. Until it was time for Edward and Bella to leave.  We all said our goodbyes, and I retreated to the house to get into casual clothes, which meant leggings and a tank top. I caught Carlisle before I left. 

"I'm going to go see Paul" I smiled, and he nodded.. 

I ran to the boarder and stepped over, I was still cautious.

I started walking towards Sam's house, when I realised I didn't know where Paul lived.  I pulled out my phone when I was at the edge of the forest and dialled Paul's number.

"Hello?" He answered. 

"Hey Paul, it's me. Wanna meet up?" I asked, kicking some leaves about. 

"Sure, I'll text you my address, my dad isn't home, so we can chill here if you want" He suggested. 

"Sure" I almost squeaked. I hung up and looked at his address. I sped there so it was mere seconds since Paul and I had spoken. I knocked on the door, still nervous. 

He answered it wearing only a pair of jogging bottom shorts. No shirt. He was trying to kill me. 

"Hey" He smiled "Do I have to invite you in?" 

I shook my head giggling. I stepped into his house and shut the door behind me. 

"So, whatcha wanna do?" He smirked at me wiggling his eyebrows. 

What have I gotten myself into...

Ooh okay, rapid fire Skuld headcannons

She’s in the same Union as Player (Anguis) and a different one from Ephemer (Unicornis) as per novels

She’s originally from the world that becomes Arendelle

She was 15 at the end of KHUX, was 13 when the Keyblade War occurred, and was 11 when she became a Keyblade Weilder

Lesbian Skuld for the win

She strikes me as someone who would like Strawberry flavoured candy. Why? I dunno

She and Ephemer has similar jackets because they bought them to match when they were in their party together

She and Ephemer (and and the rest of her party really) are also both banned from the Moogle Shop because, when they went on missions together, they would have competitions on who could find the most ingredients, then sell them all to the Moogle afterwards without buying anything. It did not like that, and they were banned for life lol

I think she and Ephemer also had a half joke competition going on about who would end up being the tallest (they were basically the same height when they started this), technically Brain would’ve won because they ended up dragging him into it (when he was also around the same height as them… he ends up significantly taller than both relatively soon after in my mind lol), but if it had just stayed between the two of them Skuld would’ve claimed victory by about 2 or 3 inches

If I were to choose one of the three medal classes for her to be most proficient in it would be strength. I think after strength she would prioritize magic, leaving speed in last place. Overall though, I think she’s decently balanced

Alright, I’m sure there’s more but that’s what I got off the top of my head lol

As for story ideas I have at least four fic WIPs I’ve been working on on and off. Those being:

Unlikely Friend - A multi chapter fic where Subject X (Skuld) tries to befriend Ienzo that I should probably work on (lol). It has two chapters already up on AO3 if you’re interested.

Ghosts of the Past - A fic where Subject X (Skuld) ends up in Zootopia followed by a certain red scarfed ghost who claims to be her long lost friend. I made a post a while ago talking about this one if you’d like to learn more.

Meanwhile in the Realm of Darkness - A fic (that might end up being multi chapter depending on how motivated I am) where Subject X (Skuld) ends up in the realm of darkness and Aqua finds her. They end up bonding and her and Aqua try to put together pieces of her past as they travel through the fallen worlds (most notably the three from Fragmentary Passage, since Skuld is likely to recognize those from missions).

Party Days - A multi chapter fic from Skuld’s perspective about when Skuld and Ephemer were in a party together. Just a lot of the two of them being goofy and going on missions and stuff. Yay friendship! lol

And I have one that is just ideas I haven’t really expanded on since I wrote it down. Which is the Boiling Isles AU, where Subject X (Skuld) ends up in the Owl House world sometime around the beginning of season 2. It’s not super developed and I wrote my notes for it right after finishing season 2. I don’t really feel the need to write it out anymore but what I had was fun lol

(Luz was so hyped to have another human who could do magic around and I’m also pretty sure I made this AU purely because I thought it’d be funny if they tried to do the memory thing where they pull pictures out of their ears but because Skuld is from a different world they just end up pulling out broken chains lol)

My problem with Mal Bertha from Disney Descendants

I know that probably nobody is gonna read this but idc.

I think enough time has pass, so it's time to have this conversation. Mal is the worst character from all the franchise (ik this might upset some people since she is the protagonist but she's is a horrible person and that has to be acknowledged)

This is going to be based in the movies, books and the mini series

Also I want to make clear that this is not against Dove Cameron(that's gonna be for another post) . With that being said let's start.

1) She's a bully

This is the most obvious reason and it makes me mad that she got away with it.

During the book and movies she bullied Evie, Carlos, Uma, Mad Maddy and Jane

in the first book she basically ruined Evie's life just because The Evil Queen didn't invite her to Evie's sixth birthday. First made her mother (Maleficent) put under home arrest Evie and her mom for literally 10 years and when the girl finally get the courage to get out of her house thinking that everything is forgotten, Mal tried to killed her multiple times

Mal literally locked Evie in Cruella's closed during Carlos's party knowing that they were traps in there and she could have been extremely injured (that was actually her plan but luckily Carlos saved Evie)

And that's not even the worst, because Mal was also planing on using Evie to get Maleficent's scepter back by letting her grab the scepter and get the same curse that maleficent gave to Aurora (fall sleep for 100 years).

And mentioning Carlos's party I need to add that kinda threatened him to make the party just so she could have her "revenge". It's important also to mention that Carlos didn't wanted to make the party because that would have caused him problems with his mom.

And the worst about this is that they both ending being her friends like nothing happened and being Mal's minions for the rest of their lifes

And some people in the fandom dare to call Evie "a bad friend" In the last to movies just because she stand up to Mal.

Maddy and Uma are kind of the same but in different ways

Because Mal was bestfriends with both but then betrayed them and humiliated then like the Judas she is.

(But Evie is the bad friend?)

With Maddy she literally threw lye on her, completely ruining her hair, forcing her to change her hair from purple to aqua green just because Mal felt like she should be the only purple hair girl on the Isle.

As I said Uma was a similar case because Mal also ruined her hair by throwing a bucket of shrimps on her, leaving the stink on her hair forever and then maked fun of her because of that calling her "shrimpy"

NO WONDER WHY THEY BOTH HATE HER

Jane was an insecure girl with no friends that was constantly bullied for her looks and Mal literally used that in her favor, manipulating her by using every single one of her insecurities against her.

And at the end she just had to say "I'm sorry" and everything was forgotten and she literally received no consequences. (And in some cases like Maddy and Uma' s she didn't even apologize)

And to finish this point I just want to mention that she was abusive to Ben and ALL AURADON KNEW IT, because Audrey in "Audrey's royal return mentions Mal's two attempts at spelling Ben. The first one is understandable to think that she knew that something was wrong with Ben and that she probably drugged him (which she did)

But how did she knew about the second one?

The only answer is that someone must have tell her about that and also that Mal run away to the isle opening the barrier and putting Auradon in danger and also causing Ben's (The king) kidnap

which mean that probably everyone in the kingdom knew about it AND DID NOTHING, not even Ben's parents, like why do you let your son get married with someone who is constantly putting him in danger?

And talking about the wedding and Mal being a bully just imagine the reaction of all of those children when they saw that their bully was gonna be their Queen. Life sucks!

2) she's a liar/ manipulator that victimize herself

If I could describe Mal in one word would be selfish because most of the time she only thinks about herself and what would be the best for her not minding if she affects others in the way.

I already mentioned how she manipulated Jane in the first movie

But now let's talk about the second movie

Basically this whole movie was her playing the victim when everything was technically her fault

Ben calling her out by ILLEGALLY using her magic and then her victimizing herself by playing the Jughead Jones "I don't fit in" card

Her running away indirectly causing Ben's kidnap and Uma's scape

Literally if she had just talk to Ben about how she felt instead of lying and using her magic to make everything easier for her, everything could have been avoided.

The third movie is when Mal selfishness and manipulative behavior is more noticeable

Let's star with Audrey becoming the villian in consequence for Mal giving Ben the love potion causing Ben not only dumping Audrey but also humiliating her in from of the whole school, so I'm sorry but she had every right to be mad at Mal.

Then, her wanting to close the barrier forever leaving all that innocent children to die in hunger and poverty just because she didn't wanna risk her perfect life in Auradon is just pure selfishness. Literally everyone else in the room thought that was a drastic solution.

To make it even worse she just lied to everyone for the rest of the movie.

She lied to Evie saying that was theirs idea and later when she gets caught she just plays the victim once again by saying she didn't have a choice and also confirming her selfishness by saying "I did it for us" NOT THE KINGDOM and even Evie's says that she did it for herself.

And do not forget how she lied to Uma, Harry and Gil by promising them that she was going to take all of the children from the isle to Auradon (even though she knew that that was never gonna happen) only for make them help her to defeat Audrey.

And in my opinion destroying the barrier was she stupidest decision ever made. The villains will try to get revenge.

But this is just my opinion.

The bitter sting of betrayal gnaws at me; Ros, that backstabbing snake, decided to side with those despicable pirate factions, the very scum I loathe to my core.
