I visited my hometown’s first dispensary (Montego Bay, Jamaica) as well as Jamaican’s 2nd/3rd ever legal cannabis. I smoked a strain called Amnesia Lemon Pie as well as this was the view the dispensary offered while smoking. As the sun set at the same rate as my high set it, I felt a true connection to nature at this moment. As i watched the sun go from a full whole circle to a miniscule nothingness, as it became a point mass, as it became the very thing most people try to avoid. It disappeared leaving only darkness behind it. I watched as everything began turning lights on, the cars, the buildings... the street lights... I realized just how important this ball of hot gases was. The sun at that moment literally meant life to me.
