Oh. My. God. I just realized Isca the Unbeatable derived her name from Judas Iscariot.

Marvel/DC Crossover Thoughts
Batman has Very Small Dog Anxiety concerning Krakoa. Don't get me wrong, he is at supportive of Mutants having a safe haven and a voice in the world, he is a reformer, he does trust Scott and Kurt, but putting Apocalypse on the Ruling Council? Worst thing about it is that he knows it's best to do nothing, especially since he has no actionable plan save to brush up his various countermeasures. (He definitely does have Blightswill). He comes around eventually.
By contrast, Mutants in general have Very Small Dog Anxiety concerning Superman. He's basically immune to most mutant powers, his brain is different enough that telepathy and mental influence essentially get them an Error Message, and even the Phoenix itself seems to shudder at his presence...
Related to this, the Phoenix definitely has A Connection to the Kryptonian Flamebird.
The only things that could really hurt him would be Storm or another sufficiently powerful electrokinetic disrupting his Bio-Electric Aura, the Juggernaut (who would be explicitly mystical here), or Husk donning Kryptonite skin.
Cassandra Cain would hate Isca the Unbeatable with a passion.
Pietro is Barry Allen. He and Wanda were born near Mount Wundagore and are Metahumans whose powers are affected by its influence instead of Mutants. They got struck by lightning as children, Wanda manifested the incident as control over misfortune and more mystical bent, while Pietro was connected to the Speed Force.

I like how Isca the Unbeatable's power is absolutely narratively perfect for someday going up against the Unbeatable Squirrel Girl. She automatically switches to the side that's going to win, and convincing a villain to do that is one of Doreen's core moves!
In a timeline where Doreen Green ISN'T legally and biologically distinct from a mutant, or if they could take that back, she shows up at Saturnyne's tournament with a Sword of Acorns and Isca just instantly becomes a new BFF

THE FOLLOWING ARE A PROCEEDINGS OF THE EVENT, AS RECORDED BY THE PRIESTESSES OF THE STARLIGHT CITADEL.
THE FIRST NIGHT.
I. THE TOURNAMENT BEGINS WITH OPAL LUNA SATURNYNE welcoming the CHAMPIONS of KRAKOA into the STARLIGHT CITADEL for an introductory dinner with the CHAMPIONS of ARAKKO. Tensions were high and a betrayal almost occurred but the night ended without any casualties.
II. The CHAMPIONS of KRAKOA all received what appeared to be TAROT CARDS in their room, some being more ominous than others. They are as follows:
Apocalypse -- the Lovers. Cable -- the Fool. Captain Avalon -- Justice. Captain Britain -- Strength. Cypher -- the Hermit. Gorgon -- the World. Magik -- the Tower. Storm -- the Empress. Wolverine -- the Chariot.
Annihilation -- Death. Bei the Blood Moon -- the High Priestess. Death -- the Emperor. Isca the Unbeatable -- Judgement. Pogg Ur-Pogg -- the Devil. Redroot the Forest -- the Magician. Solem -- the Hanged Man. Summoner -- the Hierophant. The White Sword -- the Wheel of Fortune. War -- Temperance.
III. EVERYONE RETIRES for the evening with the Tournament to begin in the morning.
END DAY.

Note
I don't really care about 90% of X of Swords but everything about Pogg Ur-Pogg is so ridiculous I really hope he survives and sticks around.
pogg-ur-pogg is so ridiculous in name and the fact that hickman refuses to elaborate on what he does. im 90% sure he’s just a random lizard man. isca the unbeatable or whatever looks cool tho.

This my personal Not Evil Krakoa, used in my fanfics, not mainline. You are Rude.
The batfamily would be guests, going to a Sanctuary because they were invited. This is my personal AU where Krakoa is the Hub of a teleportation network that connects Mutants.
Besides, no amount of prep time could enable them to stop Isca.
Batfamily at the Hellfire Gala…..
Potential?
????
Or maybe it would just be a thinly veiled excuse to write Jubilaura and StephCass doing a double date in FANCY DRESS!
Then again, Bruce in my “Combined Marvel/DC” AU is actually a Mutant? So there could be something there?
I will think about this.

IT IS TIME TO PLAY A GAME…
Recently, the mutant APOCALYPSE created the EXTERNAL GATE, constructed from the bones of the immortal mutants, along with the aid of the mutant known as RICTOR. This is the door to the land ARRAKO, home of the children of Apocalypse and their kin. Surely, the presence of his grandson SUMMONER should have warned us of what is to come. Listen, now, to:
THE MUTANT HISTORY OF ARAKKO + THE FALLEN WORLD OF AMENTH
Let us start in the beginning, in OKKARA, the land of mutants. It was ancient before that world existed, but not yet old in the way they were old. The TWILIGHT SWORD of the enemy tore the world asunder and what was one became two. From that chasm between them -- from that dark world -- the enemy poured into this world. At a great cost, the army of the enemy -- along with Arakko itself -- were pushed back through the chasm closed. But like all stories old enough to grow in the telling, it sometimes becomes difficult to separate fact from fiction… or the truth from lies.
Who sacrificed for the cause? Who sealed the breach?
Now, ask yourself:
Who betrayed all? Who sacrificed their family for their own perseverance?
APOCALYPSE. He who cleaved what never should have been cleaved into two, separated forever. Husband to wife. Parent to child. ARAKKO from KRAKOA.
Enter, then, AMENTH.
The wastelands of worlds. A black world. A fallen world. The desolate nothing littered with the bodies of defeated enemies. It was there that the mutants made wonders and made the land their own. Generations of mutants formed and turned to dust, knowing nothing but the walls they built. They did not know defeat, only safety in a world of violence. A prophet spoke and some ventured away to fight for years, under GENESIS -- she is the authority of Arakko. The mother of the Horseman. The wife of Apocalypse. Here they faced the WHITE SPIRE -- he who was caught in a cycle of death and religion as he warred until every soldier in his army died, only to begin again the next day.
They returned, but all was not well. ISCA, the traitor. Isca, the unbeatable. She could not lose and that forced her to join Amenth in the war against Okkara. Why? She cannot lose and Okkara could not win. It was Isca who approached Genesis to parlay with ANNIHILATION -- the god of Amenth -- and Genesis who agreed.
The tragic end. Okkara’s great loss.
They battled with the fate of Okkara in the balance but Genesis was found wanting. Defeated. Unfit. Buried.
With her, the hope of Arakko was buried.
Annihilation was named aptly. For one hundred years, the mad horde of Amenth battered the walls of Arakko as mutants died and their tower fell. Still, they held. Hope remained, sparked by the murmur that the blue skinned leader who had left them had helped to raise a new mutant society -- a greater one -- that could bring their army to save their kin. They held out until they could no longer, and the Summoner left to find the Grandfather he had never met, the great leader who had abandoned them.
Others have sought another kind of salvation, but it is known not of their successes or failures. All that is known is the last words of War -- of farewell and an under siege Arakko.
They are out of time. Amenth is on the march. Only you can save them.
Only you can save us.
