For anyone following my live-blogged ISAT playthrough, there will be spoilers. I will be using the tags “isat spoilers” and “siffrin and the craaaazy time loop” starting tomorrow, so put one or both of those in your filter if you don’t want to be spoiled (the second one should be specific enough that it only hides mine, if that’s what you want). I’ll also go back and add the tags to any posts that don’t have them.
I’d advise only removing the tags from your filter when you’re comfortable being spoiled. For me, that’ll be after I beat the game.

I will have no need to freeze myself in time via tears!

okay I've come to accept in the past hour that it's gonna be a while until I can beat the king. for various reasons. so tomorrow I'm just gonna grind hp and get Sif to like. level 60 or w/e. and also I wanna see if I can figure out more stuff about the island by poking around, because the villager with the sister just told me about the island literally just by doing that and talking to her every other loop. so y'know I figure that's the way to do that.

At first I was just going to do the time loop trauma one throughout the whole thing, then I came to find multiple other similarities between the game. It got to the point where I had to exclude some from this since there were too many for the meme.

Aaaaaah the writing in isat is so good. In the place during the act 4 Odile friendship quest where Siffrin would go on the rant about how Odile has the privilege not to think about which parts of her are from her and which parts of her are where you from, in the act 3 version, you can see Siffrin go [...] and then do a fake smile portrait when he agrees with Odile that it doesn't matter.
Even in the original "perfect" run where Siffrin felt the most connected to their family, he STILL wasn't 100% truthful, and they knew it.
