(A6SE / 2HATS SPOILERS) A continuation of my personal take of designs of characters in ISAT if they were in the role Loop was in game! You can see the first iteration I did with the party here. Both the regular design and human versions for fun. Mainly started off because I wanted to design Ephemera for @pixxyofice role swap au but then I got carried away and did a whole bunch! I would absolutely love to hear more about your isat x hollow knight idea (< has been looking at isat stuff for days + is listening to Broken Vessel 1 hour long Man on the Internet cover)

Hello hi!!! Sorry it took me a bit to get your ask I’ve been a little busy, but I would love to babble hehehe :3

For the Isat Hollow Knight au thingy I’m still note sure if I want to still have the Isat party as. Well. A party, or if I wanna do it the way Hollow Knight does with with the NPCs and have them Isat characters just be other bugs you meet on your journey.

Still working on the designs of the other characters, but I’m had the idea of having Mirabelle be some sort of butterfly. Though, I’ve also had the idea of Mirabelle taking over Hornet’s role floating around too.

For Odile I’ve been thinking maybe she’s based either on a mantis or possibly a jellyfish type thingy, but I’m still not sure yet.

For Isabeau, I thought maybe he could be based on one of those really big, really annoying guard type bugs in the City of Tears. You know the ones. It fits pretty well considering his role as a defender in Isat.

I am. Still struggling with where to put Bonnie. Believe it or not, it’s kinda hard to fit a child into the world of Hollow Knight due to the. Uh. Horrors. Ya know?

Another idea I had was to have Euphrasie take the role of the White Lady. Don’t have much of an idea here yet.

Same with the King. I’ve thought about just having him be the Pale King soooooo. I dunno.

I’m still not sure what I’m going to do about the Dreamers, still working that out.

For Loop, I’ve thought about having them be THK but also the possibility of them being just a charm you have but can never remove and just kinda floats around like some of the other charms that give you babies and stuff.

Okokok, lots of words. I would love to answer more stuff about this au. Also, was thinking about calling the au the ‘Hollowed Stars au’ <-(literally just came up with that right now). Like I said, I’d love to answer stuff about this au as well as hear any ideas anyone may have :3

(ACT 4 spoilers) Wanted to share some of the art + writing I did for @pixxyofice Euphrasie looping au! Writing under the cut:

< The head housemaiden takes your hands and interlocks her fingers into yours. >

< They’re a lot rougher than you’d imagine them to be. >

< Bruised and calloused. >

< There were faint traces of a shade that you don’t seem to recognize painted on her knuckles. >

< You can’t help but stare. >

< It’s your job to notice the little details that no one else would. >

< You look up at her. >

< She smiles. >

< It’s gentle and warm. Her voice soft and soothing. >

<… But you know better. >

< Looks can be deceiving. >

< Her eyes.. look so tired. >

((“You said you’d do anything .. to figure out the truth?”))

(( “.. That you would make it your mission to find out what I was hiding.. is that right?”))

< Her hands are trembling. Euphrasie laughs trying to still her nerves. >

((“… You figured me all out didn’t you..? So why not just say what we both know to be true..”))

< Euphrasie looks expectant. >

<There’s no sense of panic or desperation at being caught for lying. >

< Resignation.>

< You’re at a loss of words. >

((“ Oh I must’ve startled you there.. deepest apologies! That’s okay. I’ll say it for you.”))

((“You caught me! I’ve been traveling in time. What a perceptive one you are.”))

< You frown.>

((“ I never lied when I said I cared about everyone here.”))

< She leans forward. Her face inches closer to yours. >

((“I’m willing to do terrible things to keep you all safe.. that’s what you said before, yes?”))

< The air smells sweet. >

((“ I just want you to know..the feeling is mutual”))

< You can feel her grip loosening. >

((“ And though you won’t remember any of this…”))

< Euphrasie frowns for the very first time since you’ve seen her. >

((“.. I just hope that one day..”))

< You hold your head. Static fills your ears. >

((“…you can learn to forgive me-“))

Part 3 has been completed :D!!! This one isn't too different from canon I think, but I do believe these two fit the roles perfectly :D

Odile - Takes Alfred's place. Much of her backstory remains the same, having traveled from Ka Bue to Vaugarde to find out more about her identity. She would one day come across Isabeau before he had Changed, allowing him into her life and soon getting to mentor him however she is able. While she began her travels researching her history, she set focus on another subject - why was this city so wracked with crime? Was it because of the King or are there more factors at play? Odile is very experienced in combat, having fought many a battle and having received a scar on her face from the King once. Mostly the same chill mom as canon, MUCH more tired and a bit more attached to Isabeau however.

Euphrasie - Takes James Gordon's place. Serving as the Head Housemaiden since her predecessor had been assassinated, Euphrasie holds on tight onto her belief that even the darkest countries can be saved, that even monsters can find salvation. The House of Change runs similarly to canon, but also like a rehabilitation center - taking inmates and eagerly seeking to redeem them or find peace for them even if they choose not to convert to Change. While sweet and considerate, Euphrasie is not one to retreat in combat, and is amongst the strongest warriors in the House - aiming to be even more proactive since Siffrin's attempted hijacking of the House, and his attack on Mirabelle. She also seems to know a dark secret behind The King - he seems to be using something never seen before, a new Craft perhaps, to keep himself powerful...

Next part is gonna be the trickiest one, so hopefully it lives up to the rest :D
