Just like a small question based on that one ask, but... might the lack of brown/black men in popular M/M ships have to do with people trying really hard not to be racist so they just... never feature black/brown men? Because I know several F/F ships with brown/black women, but I can't remember a single M/M or even M/F with a black/brown male love interest... well, maybe Link/Gan or Zelda/Gan? But besides that one... nothing rings a notable bell.

If we're talking about AO3, Link/Gan has 785 works. Finnpoe has 8,636. Sam/Bucky has 10,591. Do you just not watch live action media?

Part of it is "I don't know. I just don't find them hot for some reason..."-style racism. That can shift with time and exposure but there's no instant fix even if someone is interested in changing their own tastes.

Part of it is being instantly screamed at and held to higher standards. (And yes, no matter how much people want to whine and say this isn't true, it is true, and anyone who goes ahead and writes despite the haters will tell you so.)

Part of it is fear of messing up above and beyond fear of reactions. Personally, I think this is toxic white guilt-flavor time-wasting and it's better to try and fail than not try, but it's a massive factor in what some people choose to write.

A lot of it is simply the composition of the mega-franchises that tend to generate the ships with bajillions of works. If we're looking at AO3 circles, the biggest f/f ships are not that big. If you look at m/m ships of the same size, there are some with some guy who is not white and not a pale-skinned Asian.

I don't see anything particularly significant until we get further down the listings, but there are definitely smaller fandoms like Leverage where everybody loves and ships the black guy.

I mean, yes, clearly, media does have a bias against darker skin, and the darker the skin, the bigger the bias. This bias may be exacerbated by fandom, but in a lot of cases, it just seems to be replicated at about the same level.

That pattern notwithstanding, it seems like you just haven't heard of a lot of ships.

Summary: Y/N Stark was taken from her family when she was three years old. It's fifteen years later and her family believes she is dead. Then how is she living in Beacon Hills?

"Can you tell me something about her?" Peter asks.

"What?" Stiles shakes out of his thoughts and turns to look at Peter. They have been slowly walking around the perimeter of the fighting waiting for someone to call for them.

"Can you tell me something about Y/N?"

"Like what?"

"Like what was it like growing up with her?"

Stiles thinks for a second, "Other than when our mom died, it was pretty good."

Peter watches Stiles fiddle with the straps of the bulletproof vest he's wearing. Stiles told them about their mom dying earlier but he hasn't thought about it too much. Now thinking about it, not only did Y/N have one mom who died early on in her life, but she also had another mom who gave her to Hydra to be experimented on. He can't even begin to comprehend how much that has messed with her.

Peter has so many questions that he wants to ask Y/N after all of this is over. He's not sure if she'll even be up for them or even want to answer them. The only things he knows about her are things other people have told him. Even then, how much has he not been told? How much will he never know?

They continue to walk in silence until Argent's voice rings out from their walkie-talkies, "Stiles, we need you!"

"Shit," Stiles mutters under his breath as they take off toward Chris and the others. Stiles tries to keep up with Peter while also trying not to trip on his own feet. He doesn't have the speed that Peter has.

By the time they reach Chris, Derek, and other Peter, the Anuk-Ite is already gone. Derek and Chris seem to be okay but the Anuk-ite got Peter.

"What happened?!" Stiles asks out of breath.

"What do you think?" Derek huffs.

"Where did it go?"

"Our eyes were closed. How would we know where it went?" Chris responds, rolling his eyes and pulling a knife out of a fallen hunter.

"Well, we need to trap it soon or else he and the others are going to stay like this forever."

"What others?" Derek questions.

"Malia and Bucky are also statues."

Derek curses under his breath.

"Maybe instead of waiting for it to come to us, we should make it come to us," Chris states.

"How?" Peter asks.

Chris thinks for a second, "It feeds on fear, so let's give it some fear."

"Again, how?"

"I don't know. We'll have to figure somethi–"

Chris gets cut off by the sound of Scott's voice coming out through the walkie-talkies, "Guys, we need help!"

"What's going on?" Stiles responds.

"We're outnumbered and they've got a kanima now!"

"What's a kanima?" Peter asks.

"A lizard that can paralyze you," Stiles mutters, trying to decide in his head if it's a good idea to go help them or if he and Peter need to focus on the Anuk-Ite.

"We'll go help them. You two go after the Anuk-Ite and take it down now. You don't have much time." Chris states. He turns to nod at Derek before they run off in the direction Scott is in.

"How?!"

"Figure it out!"

"That's so helpful! Thanks!" Stiles rolls his eyes before looking back at Peter. "We need a plan."

Peter throws his hands up in defense, "This is your realm of expertise. I'm just here to help."

"My realm of expertise requires research and a lot of guessing and hope that we don't die."

Stiles and Peter look at each other in annoyance. Time is ticking down, and they need to kill the Anuk-Ite as soon as possible. Waiting for people to call for them is taking too long and they keep getting there too late.

"What if we tell everyone to go to one side?" Stiles suggests. "If everyone is in one area, then it only has one place to go."

"I thought they wanted us attacking on all sides?"

"Yeah, well, people are dying, and our current plan isn't working." Stiles pulls the walkie-talkie in his hand up to his mouth, "Everyone go to Scott's side."

It's silent for a moment before Kira's voice comes through, "We're already here!"

"Why do we need to go to Scott's side?" Liam's voice came through after hers.

"Just go to Scott's side."

They wait a moment for a reply, but no one does.

"Let's just go and hope they do too," Peter says, already walking away from Stiles.

Y/N tries to ignore the throbbing pain of her ankle as it feels like the bear trap keeps getting deeper. Is it possible for it to decapitate her foot from her body? She looks up and sees that Kate is still slowly approaching her, but the other hunters and Berserkers have stopped.

"The whole world knows who you are now!" Kate calls out. "You're all anyone can talk about."

"Your plan isn't going to work! People aren't afraid of the Hulk, and they won't be afraid of me!" Y/N yells back. She hopes she sounded confident saying what she said because she's not sure she believes it herself. She knows she's capable of a lot and she is technically a monster, so she couldn't fault people for being afraid of her.

Kate laughs, "You think I want people to be afraid of you?!"

"Why else would you leak my information?!" Y/N tries to pull the bear trap open, but the pain is causing her strength to weaken. She can't seem to get it off. She knows she could easily take the hunters and Berserkers down without having to move, but she's not sure she could concentrate enough to do so.

"Not everything is just about you." Kate stops ten feet away from me. "Is that really the best thing you could come up with?"

"Then why the fuck are you doing this?! For an army that wants to get rid of the supernatural, you seem to have a lot of them on your side!"

"They want you dead," Kate points back to the hunters behind her, "I, personally, think you're better off alive."

"Why?"

"Do you really think I told the world who you are so that I could kill you? Or—what did you say—that people will be afraid of you?"

Y/N's hands keep slipping from the metal trap and blood continues to pour from her ankle, "Then why did you do it?"

"For the same reason why you let Pepper Potts go—suffering for eternity is so much better than the instant kill."

Y/N rolls her eyes, "That doesn't explain anything. And I actually have a reason to make her suffer and you've got nothing on me."

"You want to know why I told the press who you are? It's not to make people afraid of you. If I wanted to do that, I would've also told them why you smell like wet dogs and have fun playing in the shadows." Kate walks closer to Y/N before kneeling a few feet away from her. "You've seen how the internet has reacted so far. Just wait until they start to really dig into your life."

"I don't understand."

"Do you really think the best they can do is find out where you live or who you're dating? Just wait until they find out about the multiple friends of yours that have died within the last few years or the fact that there seem to be a lot of unsolved murders under your dad's watch. Better yet, what happens when they start looking into Derek's past and find out about Paige?

"I'm going to watch as the world tears you and everyone you associate with limb from limb. I'm going to watch as the world plasters your face and your life on every news article, every gossip page, and every social media platform.

"I don't care if people fear you. I want them to fear the people closest to you. How much longer do you think they'll stick around once you ruin their lives just by association?"

Y/N scowls at Kate. She doesn't even know how to respond to Kate because Kate's right. If people were able to find where Derek lives, they'll be able to find more. They'll never be able to link him to Paige's death, but what about his sister's? Even though he had nothing to do with it—thanks to Stiles and Scott—he does have an arrest record for it. What other things could they find out about him?

What about her dad? There are indeed a lot of unsolved cases due to the supernatural being involved. There is also a suspicious number of deaths ruled 'animal attack.' Not too long ago there were human sacrifices going on too.

What about the rough patch he hit after her mom's death? Is it even possible for people to find out about that? What if this situation drives him into another rough patch?

Would being associated with her affect her friend's futures? If she gets exposed—which exposes them too—will that affect their college chances? Stiles is interested in working for the FBI; will this affect his chance to work with them?

It doesn't matter what she tells people or what she does, people will make their own judgments about her no matter what. If the extent of the Hydra experiments gets out, she will be branded a murderer. It won't matter her age at the time or that she was forced to do them, they'll see her as a monster. Bucky has been out of Hydra's grasp for over a decade and people still look at him with fear as if he'll become the Winter Soldier again if something slightly upsets him. While not everyone treats him like that, there is a loud, large majority that does.

"If that's all you wanted to do, then why gather an army to kill us?" Y/N asks.

"I don't want to kill all of you. That would make my whole plan irrelevant." Kate replies. "I just want to kill one of you."

"Why do you have to be so fucking vague?"

"When do people get obsessed with digging into people's lives? When drama happens. What's a bigger drama than you running off with the Avengers after Daddy Sheriff will no longer speak to you after his son was mysteriously killed by a wild animal?" Kate stands up from her kneeling position. "Do you think people will blame you or one of the other wolves you run around with? Do you think Scott will forgive you after you dragged him and his best friend into your world? What about the others?"

Y/N eyes start to glow bright blue and her fangs drop down in anger. She smirks as Kate takes a slight step back, but she doesn't see what Kate sees. She doesn't see that her eyes flicker from blue to black before going back to blue.

"What makes you think that I'm going to let you do that?" Y/N asks.

"I think that you find yourself to be a bit too busy to save him," Kate smirks, running and jumping down into the tunnels through the hatch Y/N just climbed out of—narrowly missing Y/N's claws that swipe at her.

As Y/N yells at Kate, the hunters and Berserkers start running toward her. She starts to pull at the bear trap in anger, trying to rip it apart. As her eyes go solid black, she rips the trap apart and off her ankle. Screaming in pain and anger, complete and utter darkness engulfs her, the hunters, the Berserkers, and their surroundings as darkness comes off Y/N in a wave of immense power.

"Where the hell did it go?!" Natasha yells out.

"I don't know!" Kira yells back.

Steve and Isaac are propped up against a tree waiting for the kanima venom to wear off as Nat and Kira circle around them in protection. The kanima keeps coming back to them but they've been able to hold it off so far.

"Are you sure we can't kill it?!"

"Scott says not to because it's not like the hunters! It doesn't want to hurt us! It's only doing what it's master says and we don't know if, whoever it is, is doing this willingly or not!"

"How does he know that?!"

"Personal experience!" Isaac yells out.

"I think I'm starting to get feeling back in my hands. I can feel my fingers moving." Steve says. He hates that it only took a little scratch on his neck to knock him down and prevent him from being a part of the fight.

Isaac glances down at Steve's hands, "As someone who can see your hands—they aren't moving."

"Well, yours aren't moving either!"

Nat and Kira quickly turn toward the right side of the trees as they hear footsteps quickly approaching them. They tighten their grips on their weapons as the footsteps get closer.

"Derek?" Kira lowers her sword as Derek and Chris step out of the tree line.

"Scott said that he needed help," Derek says. "What's going on?"

"They've got a kanima and some really big Berserkers," Isaac says from behind Kira.

"Isaac?"

"Hey, Derek. Hey, Mr. Argent. I'd greet you properly, but I can't move."

"What are you doing here?" Chris asks.

"Scott told us everything."

"Us?" Derek questions.

"Braeden's here too," Kira says.

"Great," Derek mumbles under his breath. He hasn't spoken to Braeden much since he and Y/N got together unless it had to do with supernatural business. There's no big reason why they don't talk, but there is a bit of an awkward tension between the three of them.

"The others are closer to the house. We're keeping these two safe until they can move again while the others are fighting whatever else." Natasha states, pretending not to notice Derek sigh after hearing what Kira said. She makes a mental note to ask Y/N about it later when all of this is over, and they’ve hopefully gotten closer.

"Chris, you stay with them, and I'll go help Scott."

"No!" Everyone's heads turn to look at Stiles and Peter running toward them. "We need everyone to be in the same spot. It's the only way we'll be able to kill the Anuk-Ite before the others die."

"What do you mean 'before the others die?'" Natasha questions.

"Malia and creepy Peter are currently almost statues for the rest of their lives."

"So is Uncle Bucky," Peter adds.

"What?!" Steve yells, trying to will his legs to move to go question Peter but nothing happens. His mind is racing. Bucky better not die on him again. He promised not to do that to Steve again.

"Hey! I can feel my hands again!" Isaac calls out. Steve glares at Isaac as Isaac's fingers start to slowly move. Steve's eyes quickly widen in horror as Isaac flicks out his claws before digging them into his leg.

"What are you doing?!"

"Triggering the healing process," Isaac grunts out, digging his claws in deeper.

"Like I was saying," Stiles says, pulling the attention back to him, "we need everyone to be together. It's too hard to catch the Anuk-Ite when we're all spread out. It's gone by the time we reach the area it's supposed to be in. If we're all in one spot, then it only has one place to attack us."

"We'll move toward Scott and the others," Derek states.

"Someone will need to carry those two," Kira says, pointing to Isaac and Steve behind her.

"No one needs to carry me!" Isaac yells, slowly standing up from the ground. "I'm okay!"

"If you scratch me, will I turn into a werewolf?" Steve asks, looking up at Isaac.

"No, I'm not an alpha. Even then it's pretty rare."

"Then scratch me to speed this up. I don't like not being able to do anything."

"I'm not sure if it works the same for humans."

"I'm a bit more than human. Just do it."

Isaac sighs in annoyance and flicks out his claws—bending down next to Steve's legs, "I'll try not to hit anything important." Steve watches as Isaac digs his claws into him—the claws easily pierce through his suit and into his thigh.

"One of us will still have to carry him until he can carry himself," Chris states.

"I've got him," Isaac grunts, pulling Steve up and putting him on his back in a fireman's carry. "Let's go."

Kira leads as the group starts to walk toward Scott and the others. Derek tries to focus on his surroundings so he can be ready if anything tries to attack them, but his mind is on Y/N. Is she okay? Is she hurt? Has she found Kate or is she still looking for her?

As they get closer to the house, the sounds of fighting become clearer. Emerging from the trees, they can see Scott and Liam fighting a large Berserker together. Next to them, Sam and Tony are fighting off the other three while Braeden is standing protectively in front of Wanda—who is propped up against the house and appears paralyzed.

"Kira, go help Scott and Liam. Isaac, go to Braeden. I'll go help the other two. The rest of you take down the kanima and anything else that shows up." Derek orders, charging toward the Berserker that just swiped at Sam while Stiles and Peter move toward the house.

Isaac runs over to Braeden and not-so-gently sets down Steve next to Wanda. Steve winces in pain as the feeling starts to come back to his legs.

"What happened to you?" Steve asks Wanda.

"The stupid lizard got me when my back was turned." Wanda practically growls out in anger.

"Good to see you back on your feet," Braeden says to Isaac, quickly glancing over at him before continuing to watch for the kanima.

"What's going on?" Isaac asks.

"Any hunters that were still left have now run away. It's just them now and the lizard."

"Have you seen Y/N again?"

"I haven't seen her since she ran off." Braeden looks behind her at Steve regaining movement of his limbs and Wanda eyeing Steve in jealousy. "Do you know who these people are?"

"Not a clue. Scott told me who they were, but I wasn't really paying attention."

"Aim for their masks!" Derek yells out, narrowly missing the bone claw that swiped at his face.

Tony aims his hand at the mask of the Berserker running his way. The mask is obliterated as soon as the powerful ray from his suit hits it. They watch as the Berserker quickly turns to dust.

"Why weren't we told that earlier?!" Sam yells out.

Derek ignores him as he knocks down the Berserker next to him. His fist slams down onto the mask before the Berserker moves to get up. The mask slightly cracks before shattering when he brings his fist down again. The Berserker now lies dead on the floor of the woods.

Derek looks up from the dead Berserker and watches as Scott jumps on the back of the Berserker he's fighting and rips the mask off it. To his left, Tony blasts the mask off the last standing Berserker.

"Thank god they're dead. I'm not sure I could've lasted much longer." Liam huffs out, gripping his side in pain.

"Where's the kanima?" Scott asks.

"Where's Y/N?" Derek asks, looking around at everyone for answers.

"She went looking for Kate a while ago," Isaac says.

"I'm goin–"

"Watch out!" Scott yells, tackling Derek to the ground as the kanima jumps out from the trees behind him.

The kanima lands on it's feet before turning toward Tony. It takes two large strides toward him before jumping in the air, claws ready to swipe at him. Before it reaches him, it is shot down by Chris, falling to the ground unconscious.

"I thought we weren't going to kill it?!" Kira yells out. She could've killed it a long time ago, but Scott told her not to.

"I didn't," Chris says, walking over to the kanima. "I shot it with some darts full of ketamine. It should be out for a while, but we should put some mountain ash around it just in case. We should also move it out of the way."

"I've got it," Isaac grumbles after nobody else moves. He drags the kanima out of the way and Chris follows him while digging through his bag looking for the extra mountain ash he brought.

The hair on the back of Derek's neck feels like it's standing up as he pushes Scott off him and rises from the ground, "Can you feel that?"

"Stiles, get ready," Scott says. "Everyone close your eyes."

Everyone closes their eyes as the uneasy feeling starts to wash over them. Stiles can hear someone murmuring close to him. He can't tell if it's something the Anuk-Ite is doing to him or if someone else is talking to it. He tries to hone his hearing in to locate the Anuk-Ite but he's not like the werewolves and superhumans next to him.

Stiles takes a deep breath—trying to think of what to do. That's when he feels some kind of magical pull. It feels like it's pulling him toward the Anuk-Ite. He can sense the Anuk-Ite getting closer to him, but he doesn't understand why nothing else is happening. Where's the vision trying to get him to open his eyes or anything?

Stiles can feel his heart beating faster as he senses the Anuk-ite standing in front of him. Trying to think quickly, he pours a bit of the mountain ash into his hand before blowing it into the Anuk-Ite's face. Stepping back as the Anuk-Ite struggles in the cloud of ash, Stiles opens his eyes and throws the rest of the mountain ash in a circle around it.

He watches as the Anuk-Ite's powers turn on itself and turns itself into stone before disintegrating into ash.

"It's gone!" Stiles yells out.

Scott is the first person to open his eyes, "What happened?"

"I don't know. Its powers didn't seem to work on me, and I could just sense it in front of me, so I threw the mountain ash around it and now it's gone."

"What do you mean it's powers didn't work on you?" Everyone else slowly opens their eyes to look at the interaction between Scott and Stiles.

"It's supposed to mess with your mind, but nothing happened."

"Nothing happened to me either," Wanda speaks up, standing up from her spot on the ground now that the kanima venom has worn off. "I could hear Steve speaking to something, but I didn't get anything. I think my magic blocked it."

"I could hear Bucky speaking to me...Bucky!" Steve's eyes widen before he runs off in the direction Bucky's supposed to be.

"I don't have magic though. I don't understand why nothing happened?" Stiles can't seem to wrap his head around the situation.

"Maybe you do and you just don't know it," Scott says.

Stiles goes to say something before Derek cuts him off, "You can figure it out later. We need to find Y/N."

"She's a bit tied up at the moment!" Everyone's heads turn to look at Kate as she emerges from the house—claws wrapping around Stiles' throat.

Stiles struggles against Kate's grip, but it only seems to tighten, "You little bitch!"

"That's not a very nice thing to say." Kates tuts.

"You're outnumbered, Kate. We both know it, so let Stiles go." Scott says, trying to subtly move closer to them.

Kate laughs a little to herself, "It's been years and you have yet to catch me. I think I'll take my chances." Out of the corner of her eye, she can see Chris trying to move into a position to get a shot at her. She pulls Stiles closer to her body so that if someone tries to hurt her, they hurt him too.

"It's over, Kate. Any hunters left standing are now gone. They left you." Derek says, his glowing bright red eyes never leaving her hand around Stiles' throat.

"Derek, you nev–" she cuts herself off as a cloud of darkness engulfs them.

"What the hell?" Sam mutters. He tries to turn on some lights on his suit to see but they don't make a difference.

Stiles screams, falling to the ground, as Kate's grip on his neck is released and something pushes him forward—if anyone asks him later, he will deny that the scream came from him.

"Stiles?!" Scott yells out. He wants to go to him, but he doesn't know where he is. He tries to use his werewolf senses but it's as if they've been dulled. He can't sense anything.

Almost as quickly as the darkness came, it quickly disappears. As their surroundings become apparent, they notice Stiles standing up from the ground while staring at something in shock in the house that they can't seem to see.

"What just happened?" Peter asks.

"Sorry about that." Y/N steps out of the house with a slight limp, her body covered in blood. "I kinda lost control there and I didn't know how to control it. I didn't even know I could do it."

Derek sighs in relief and runs toward Y/N, scooping her up in his arms and pulling her into a tight hug, "Are you okay?"

"My ankle has seen better days, but I'll live," she murmurs, burying her face into his neck and hugging him just as tight.

"What happened?" Scott asks.

"I got caught in a bear trap and Kate ran off while her little followers tried to kill me, so I killed them first." She pulls away from Derek and raises her hand as she cuts off Scott from trying to say something. "I know. Killing people is bad, but I only killed the ones that I had to, and that just happened to be all of them."

"So what you're saying is you robbed me of seeing Thor fight because 'we don't want to kill people we don't have to' but you went ahead and did it anyways?!" Stiles yells. He doesn't care that Thor stayed behind or that she killed anyone—he's just in a bit of shock and he doesn't know how to react to everything. He still doesn't know how to react to what happened with the Anuk-Ite.

"What happened to Kate?" Isaac asks, moving out from his position in the woods.

Y/N steps into the house and grabs a chain that's lying on the floor. Yanking harshly on the chain, Kate comes flying out of the house, chains wrapped around her, and lands in front of Stiles. She's cursing Y/N out but everyone ignores her.

"Where did the chains come from?" Natasha asks.

"I made them," Y/N smiles proudly.

"What are we going to do with her?" Kira questions.

"I've got a few ideas," Tony says, glaring down at Kate.

"We aren't going to do anything," Y/N says, pulling a matchbox out of her pocket and holding it out to Derek, "You are."

Derek looks at her confused before Chris moves closer to her with a bottle of lighter fluid in his hand, "I told you you didn't want to know what I got in my bag."

Y/N grabs the lighter fluid from Chris and pours it on Kate. Kate's eyes squeeze shut, and she sputters as some of it gets in her mouth. Stiles steps back before any of it can get on him—he's not trying to burn to death too.

"Ready?" Y/N looks at Derek who's looking at her with so much love in his eyes.

"Always," Derek says, grabbing the matchbox from Y/N's hand.

"Make sure the fire stays contained to her and doesn't set the rest of the woods on fire," Y/N says, looking around at the Avengers and hoping one of them has the powers to do that.

Derek pulls out a match from the box and lights it on fire. He takes a deep breath, staring at the small flame, and throws the match onto Kate's body. She screams out in pain as her body starts to burn. They watch as she continues to scream agony before her screams come to an end, but her body continues to burn.

As they watch the last of her burn, Steve, Bucky, Peter Hale, and Malia run out of the woods with looks of confusion and fear on their faces.

"What's going on?" Steve asks, his eyes landing on the fire burning.

"It's over," Y/N nods her head at Wanda who extinguishes the fire with her magic, "let's go home." She grabs Derek's hand and starts to walk away from Kate and what's left of the hunter's safehouse.

"How are you feeling?" Tony asks Y/N.

It's been a week since the fight against Kate, the hunters, and the others. It was a big night for the FBI and sheriff's offices who arrested all the hunters that were still alive. Tony made sure to clear all the dead hunters before the police arrived, even though Sheriff Stilinski and Scott's dad wouldn't have questioned it.

Rumors and conspiracies are still circulating online about Y/N, her family, and friends. While Lydia has been keeping up to date with everything, Y/N completely turned off her phone and refused to turn it back on until she figured everything out.

After the big fight, Y/N and Derek went back to their place to relax and take a few days for themselves. The Avengers went back to their lake house and have been waiting to hear from Y/N. They understood why she needed time to herself and why she turned her phone off, but Tony's eyes never left his phone hoping she'd reach out. When she finally texted and asked to meet at the lake house, he nearly fell running down the stairs to tell everyone.

"I'm fine," Y/N gives him a small smile. She doesn't want to go into all her current feelings or else they'd be here for a few days. She's currently sitting on a sofa in the middle of the Avenger's lake house with Derek to her right and the Avengers spread out around them.

"Whatever you want to do, we understand." Wanda blurts out. "This has been really confusing us, but it's definitely been more confusing for you." Wanda sat everyone down the night before and gave them a stern talking to about how they can't control Y/N and they can't force her to do anything that she doesn't want to.

"This has been a little more than just confusing, but I've done some thinking and I know what I want to do," Y/N says as Derek places a hand on her thigh in comfort. "I do want a relationship with you."

"Really?" Peter asks, smiling like he just won a big prize.

"Yes, but I'm not abandoning Beacon Hills and I'm not abandoning my family here."

"That sounds pretty reasonable," Bruce says.

"I also just need you to be patient with me. This is a lot, and I can't promise that there won't be days where I lock myself away and have to get away from everything. I also can't promise that within a week we're all going to be super close or anything. We're all strangers to each other. Yes, you knew me when I was really little and I get glimpses of memories, or sometimes things feel familiar, but we are all completely different people now."

"We understand," Steve gives her a small smile of reassurance.

"Thank you. Also, one more thing," Y/N looks directly at Bucky, "Derek means everything to me, and his place in my life is not allowed to be questioned or anything."

Bucky huffs in slight annoyance, "I won't say anything...anymore."

Y/N smiles in relief, "Great. Now we just have to do the hard part."

"What's that?" Tony questions.

"Making a public statement."

Dozens of journalists and photographers are waiting patiently for the Avengers press conference to start. They already know what it's about since it's being held in front of the sheriff's station in Beacon Hills.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Derek asks. He and Y/N are currently sitting in her dad's office with Tony, Peter, Stiles, and the sheriff himself.

"Yeah, I just want to get this over with before Lydia tells me about another conspiracy about how I'm lying for money because my boyfriend's money has started to run dry due to my 'spending issue.'" Y/N rolls her eyes. Those aren't even the worst of it but Lydia refuses to tell her about those.

"And you're sure you don't want me up there with you?" Tony questions.

"If you're up there with me, it will look like I'm choosing the Avengers over my family here."

Tony tries not to flinch at her calling them the Avengers and not her family too. It will take some getting used to, but he doesn't want to run her off by forcing her to talk about them exactly like the family she grew up with.

"But you want us to go up with you?" Stiles points between himself and Peter.

"You're both around my age. It shows that you've confirmed my identity with at least one Avenger up there, but it also shows that I'm not abandoning my Beacon Hills family with you up there. People are also less likely to say things about you two than Tony and Dad."

Lydia opens the office door before Stiles can reply, "Y/N, they're ready."

Y/N huffs, standing up and looking at both Stiles and Peter, "Let's get this over with so I can home and take a nap."

"A nap?" Peter questions.

"Well, I plan on doing something else too, but I'm sparing the others in the room from hearing about it." She glances over at Tony and the sheriff.

"That's already more than I want to hear," Tony says, frowning while looking between Y/N and Derek. They promised not to say anything about their relationship and Derek has proven to be a good boyfriend to her, but he doesn't want to hear about what they do.

Y/N places a quick kiss on Derek's lips before walking out of the room with Stiles and Peter trailing behind her. She walks out of the sheriff's station and walks onto the little stage they have set up. The crowd turns silent as she steps up to the podium as Stiles and Peter stand silently behind her.

Y/N clears her throat and looks out at the crowd of people and cameras, "Hi. There's been a lot of speculation and rumors about who I am so I'm here to clear a few things up. My name is Y/N Stilinski, but you may also know me by my other name, Y/N Stark."

Hello! I figured I would write this here instead of on the epilogue. Thank you all so much for supporting my work and for all the kind messages you've sent me! Even if you haven't commented or liked any of my posts, thank you reading my work! I started writing this as a way to get back into writing. My dream has always been to write a book but my parents preferred me in sports than me doing my artistic ventures. Over a year ago, I decided to back into writing but I felt like I needed some feedback that wasn't my own so I started posting this. It's definitely far from perfect but I did enjoy writing it and I'm glad that so many people enjoyed reading it! My writing has a long way to go but thank you for being on this journey with me! okay for the character ask game I couldn’t decide on characters or numbers, so I just threw some random characters and numbers together, and you can decide which apply the most to what character. Whatever you like!

What do you like or dislike about this character?

SQ - in the show, I like his introspection and that they fleshed him out to not just be Curtain's adopted son who loves art and is under his control (in both a good and bad way). My only issue is that he's not in season 2, we were robbed!! As for the books, I like that what starts out as comic relief ends up being a horrifying realization that this poor teenager is brainswept so much that he can't remember what he's saying. What I dislike is that we never get to see him grow beyond that. Yes, we see him choose kindness (which is great btw) over Curtain, but I wish we had actually gotten to see him in Riddle of Ages besides a quick mention.

Jeffers - I love that he gets to be goofy. Sure the Ten Men in the books were scary, but they let him just be whacky! And why not? I love characters that get to goof around and be silly, especially if they're not supposed to. Plus, you can tell the actor playing him is having a blast and that's how you know a character is well-done. I just wish he had been in season 1, but I'm glad you put him in S.O.S. so I can enjoy him there, Bods!

Garrison - I like that this character exists, first of all. I know book Curtain is the type to want to keep the science secrets to himself, but show Curtain needs a science person to delegate Whisperer stuff to. After all, when would he have time to do this?

(did I want an excuse to put this GIF in again? Yes, yes I did. It was too funny to resist.)

But seriously, I also love that while she does bend to Curtain, she does try to stand up to him in her own way. There's a complicated dynamic there (made more complicated by reading @nobodysdaydreams S.O.S. AU fanfic, which you should read if you haven't yet because OH BOY does it change things about Garrison for you) and it's so interesting to analyze. Also, she's just a little bit quirky and I love her for that.

Nicholas - in the show, I love that they gave him issues!!!! They made him anxious and the way Tony Hale makes his posture more stooped is *chef's kiss* lovely. His "excuse me - *cut to loud screaming montage*" is TOO RELATABLE. I think they were so right for that. Also, making him more directly responsible for Curtain's downfall was a great choice (though I don't actually blame him because he was a literal child it wasn't his fault; if anything, I blame the adoptive parents for separating twins and just not coming back for the other that's so messed up??? Who does that?????). The only thing I dislike was that they basically cut down his narcoleptic attacks to nearly nothing by the second season, almost like they didn't exist. Like, y'all, come on, don't do that!

As for the books, I love his wisdom, compassion and how he always makes time for the children. He always seems to know what they're thinking and is able to encourage them in their darkest hour. Although, I have a love/hate relationship with how they cured his narcolepsy in TPD because on one hand, I hate the "curing disability narrative", but on the other he actively hated it and wanted it gone (plus he had to suppress his emotions so much because of it) that I can't really blame him for wanting it gone...hard to know how to feel on that one!

Kate - KATE MY BELOVED!!! Again, I love everything about her. For show Kate, I love how fast-paced she is. It always makes me laugh when she says something like, "Tower. Scale it. Now!!!" It's so funny to me. Emmy did an amazing job bringing that aspect to life. Show Kate is also rougher around the edges -- I don't hate it because it's more realistic...it's just sad. :(

As for book Kate, I like that she brute forces her way to solutions. Oh she doesn't understand this maze? Guess she's running through the vents. I always admired her agility (and wished I could be that cool!!). I also like that she had to grapple with the dark urge of violence because it makes sense, she's the muscle of the team, why shouldn't she end the bad guys once and for all? A dark theme, sure, but I'm glad TLS didn't hold back on it.

Rhonda - Show Rhonda is so cool because she's so good at mediating within the group and I love that she also tries to fight in her own way against Curtain outside of their work with the society. We love to see some small acts of activism!!! No notes, amazing character.

For book Rhonda, I love how caring she is. She just always finds a way to show the group in big and small ways that she cares about them. I feel like if anyone is neurotypical in that group, it's her, and for once I mean that in a good way (let's be real, someone probably needs to be to remember things and help with social cues) /j. I wish we got to see more of her!

2. Favorite canon thing about this character?

Nicholas - in the books, that he learned ASL for Violet in his prequel book! I took 3 ASL classes and while it shouldn't be a big deal for a hearing person to learn sign language for a Deaf person, many times they won't. I love that he automatically accommodated her needs, rather than trying to make her accommodate him. As for the show, the screaming scene comes to mind, but I like that he reads aloud to his friends, I think it's sweet :)

5. What's the first song that comes to mind when you think about them?

Garrison - Giants by Imagine Dragons

Soooo again I had to manually pick this song since I don't really think of MBS characters + music together (which is weird of my brain to do, but whatever!). The reason I picked this song is because it's about addiction and someone reflecting on what they've become because of it. I think it especially applies to your S.O.S headcanon of Garrison and how she is in season 2. Wish I had a happier answer. :(

7. What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you like?

Jeffers - that y'all gaslit me into thinking his name was Jeepers (s/o to @mvshortcut for reassuring me I was right) and that we have Secure the Perimeter Saturday. I think it's beautiful. 😍 ❤️

8. What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you despise?

Rhonda - I haven't seen anything I truly despise, but it definitely irks me when she gets forgotten (or whitewashed, I was worried the show was going to do that). She's such an interesting character and deserves to be included as much as possible!!!!!! Again, it's nothing I've actually seen, but if I had to pick.

9. Could you be roommates with this character?

Rhonda - yes, I think so! She'd get the worst end of the bargain dealing with my eccentricities, but I honestly think we could make it work. I'd do my best to try to make things easier for her living with me lol.

13. What's an emoji, an emoticon and/or any symbol that reminds you of this character or you think the character would use a lot?

Kate - 🪣 ...sorry, I had to!

15. What's your favorite ship for this character? (Doesn't matter if it's canon or not.)

Kate x Reynie - Sorry not sorry, I've always been a Kaynie girlie!!!! I enjoy that TMBS didn't dive into romance at all because it's good to get a break from that. Unfortunately, I'm a hopeless romantic and, at least in the books, I saw potential for something to grow when they got older (like when Reynie gets electrocuted by Curtain in TPD and Kate holds his hand while crying...that scene BROKE ME 😭 😭 😭 ).

16. What's your least favorite ship for this character?

Garrison x Curtain - idk if anyone actually ships this (I haven't seen it, I'm just adding it to the mix for consideration), but the thought of this makes me want to barf. Just....nah.

18. How about a relationship they have in canon with another character that you admire?

Nicholas - I've always admired his relationship with Milligan. If you're able to gain the loyalty and friendship of someone who's lost all of their memories, you're doing something right. :) I know Nicholas is always going to feel responsible for Curtain's misdeeds, and by extension, Milligan's memory loss (in both the books and show since Curtain is his brother and Nicholas is too much of an empath to not feel some kind of guilt), but I truly admire how he treats Milligan as someone to be taken seriously and who he wants to help.

20. Which other character is the ideal best friend for this character, the amount of screentime they share doesn't matter?

Jeffers - I don't know if this crossover is allowed, but can you imagine if Moocho Brazos and Jeffers became friends outside of Curtain's influence? I don't know, I just feel like they would be besties and potentially great together in a fight. Moocho would totally break out some cool helicopter fighting moves and Jeffers would do...something?

"Inside Out 2": It's okay to be *not* okay

Critics can gripe about Disney/Pixar making endless sequels and how their original stuff isn't as good as it used to be. But if you spend too much time nitpicking about everything, you'll fail to truly enjoy anything that's good.

And that, ironically, is a perfect parallel to the lessons we get in Inside Out 2.

We all knew what was coming at the end of Inside Out when we saw the big red "puberty" alarm. Joy (Amy Poehler), Sadness (Phyllis Smith), Fear (Tony Hale), Anger (Lewis Black), and Disgust (Liza Lapira) didn't think the big red "puberty" button was a big deal. But now that Riley's a teenager, puberty rears its ugly head. The control board is messed up and everything is changing. Worst of all, Anxiety (voiced by Maya Hawke) and a bunch of other "complex" emotions move in.

Anxiety is convinced she knows what is best for Riley, who is at hockey camp trying to make new friends and qualify for her high school team. But Anxiety's good intentions spiral out of control, and it's up to Joy and the gang to help Riley regain her sense of self (literally).

Maya Hawke's Anxiety is getting the lion's share of praise, and it is well-earned. We all knew from the minute we saw her in the trailer she was going to steal the show. Yet don't count out other delightful, relatable emotions like Envy (Ayo Edebiri), Embarrassment (Paul Walter Hauser) and the delightfully snarky Ennui (Adele Excarchopoulos).

Rest assured, this sequel isn't a soulless cash grab. Everyone that has lived through their teen years--or is still struggling with issues--will be able to relate to the way Anxiety just takes over everything. However, Anxiety isn't the only problem: once again, it's Joy and her tendency to repress anything that she deems negative that causes major problems for everyone. Poehler shines once again as the endlessly perky Joy, yet it is strangely satisfying when she finally breaks down and admits how hard it is to try to be positive all the time. Because yeah, it really is!

Much as been made out of Tony Hale and Liza Lampira replacing Bill Hader and Mindy Kaling as Fear and Disgust. Lampira jumps into the part so seamlessly that you can barely tell the difference. Hale, on the other hand is more noticeable. He does a good job, I just still prefer Bill Hader on principle.

And Lewis Black's Anger? What can I say, he's still my favorite!

Inside Out 2 builds on everything we learned in the first movie. We not only have to let ourselves be sad when necessary, we have to make peace with all the anxious, messy parts of ourselves. We can't stop anxiety, we have to live with it by dealing with the things we can control. And don't forget to really enjoy the little things in life.

Does it feel like the same lesson? Perhaps. But damn it, Disney and Pixar can still make us well up every time they each it to us.

Do you respond to comments? Why or why not? I try but sometimes it does feel silly to just keep saying Thank you if there isn't anything else I can respond too.

What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? If I Fall (BtVS/Doctor Who). Look I was reading a lot of a certain kind of BtVS fic so this one has Xander deciding to join The Master.

What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? Maybe Buster the Gay Dog (911) or A Thousand Good Stories (Top Gun/911 Lone Star). The first Eddie & Buck get together at the end. And the second Bradley & Jake are engaged by the end.

Do you get hate on fics? Rarely. But the funniest one to me was on the 5 Times Tony Stark fic. I was called both a misogynist and homophobic.

Do you write smut? If so what kind? I very rarely write true smut. I do fade to black often. I did write a fic once where Starfire gave Jason a blowjob in an alley. And I swear it isn't exactly what it sounds like but it is at the same time. She was trying to make him stop risking his life by giving him something to live for. Look there is a reason I don't write much smut in over a decade.

Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written? Yes, I write crossovers. It's kinda my thing really. As for the craziest one? I honestly don't know because a bunch are probably considered odd. Maybe the Marvel crossover with Red White & Royal Blue. Or maybe 9-1-1 and Eureka. Or maybe 9-1-1 Lone Star & Marvel. Or 9-1-1 Lone Star & DC comics. Or maybe my recent Danny Phantom and 9-1-1.

Have you ever had a fic stolen? Yup. It was copied word for word. But it was so long ago I couldn't actually tell which of my fics it was. It might even be one of the ones I orphaned in the years to follow because I don't touch that fandom anymore, nor do I want it associated with me.

Have you ever had a fic translated? I don't think so. I'm not against it.

Have you ever co-written a fic before? Nope. The closest I've come was Tumblr RP over a decade ago now.

What's your all time favorite ship? I can't really pick. I rarely abandon ships for good. I still love Benton Fraser/Ray K, Blair Sandburg/Jim Ellison, Xander Harris/Spike, John Sheppard/Rodney McKay, Stiles/Derek Hale, Steve McGarret/Danny Williams, Danny Messer/Mac Taylor, Danny Messer/Don Flack, Kaylee Fyre/Simon Tam and most of those have been off the air for years and years now.

What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? Something About That Boy (Marvel/BtVS) or Where Me Demons Hide? (Marvel/BtVS)

What are your writing strengths? I'd like to say my dialogue. And ridiculous chaotic plots in a fun way.

What are your writing weaknesses? Finishing a story before starting ten more. The non dialogue parts.

Thoughts on writing dialouge in another language in a fic? Be careful there be dragons there. I know I've done it in some fics. And a sentence here or there isn't the worst if you aren't fluent. But be open if someone ever corrects you. And more than that maybe find a beta that is fluent in whatever language you are hoping to add to the fic. I know google translate can be rough.

First fandom you wrote in? Ugh, I don't want to answer but if googling my penname is accurate it would have been May '05 so it appears to have been a Harry Potter and BtVs crossover.

Favorite fic you've written? Toss up between Won't You Come See About Me (Top Gun/Marvel) or Wild Angels (9-1-1 Lone Star/DC Comics). Both are WIPs that are NOT abandoned in the slightest.

Buried alive

You were swamped, having to give Skeeter his private tour had taken up most of your yesterday and you were pretty sure the current remains you were looking were that of the mob boss Anthony 'Slick Tony' Barbrow.

"The beetle found in the skull is the standard carrion beetle, it gives us nothing. I'm going to try and look at the sediment again." You shook your head.

"Thanks Jack, I think I'm going to head home after I finish cataloguing these X-rays, I'm beat." He tapped the wall in sympathy and walked back to his office."

Ring ring ring

"Hello Sammy, is there a reason you're calling me in the middle of the worst work week in the year?"

You heard him take a deep breath over the line, "Are you alone?" You shook your head even though he couldn't see.

"Yes I'm alone. What's going on?" Sam didn't sound happy.

"I heard the Slick Tony might be on your slab." That was a bit of a shock.

"Yeah, what the fuck is going on Sam?" He was talking to someone else in the room with him.

"He owes the Italians a lot of money, if it's him they have a real problem." You rubbed your face with your hand.

"I'm certain it's him, we're just waiting in the DNA. Is this Cacuzza's crew or someone else?" Sam sounded exasperated.

"Another crew. Be careful y/n, these guys aren't playing and they want their money one way or another." You took a deep breath.

"Thank Sam. I'll be home soon." You packed your bag and put some files into it before walking down to the parking lot. You felt someone behind you but it was too late, there was a sharp pain on your neck and then everything faded. You never saw the two men load you into the car, nor did you see them run over Jack and take him too.

Sam was worried sick, you were late and you were never late without letting him know first. Deep down, he knew something was very wrong.

He had called you hundreds of time now with no answer, there's no way you let him worry like he was worried now, so he did the only thing he could think of and called your best friend.

"Billy, have you heard for y/n?"

There was silence across the line, "No, call the other members and tell them you think something's wrong, I'm telling my guy to ready the jet now."

He was going to run off when he got a knock on the door, it was Deputy Hale.

"Hello Sam, can I come in?" Sam's first urge was to tell him to come back with a warrant but he knew something was wrong. He settled for stepping outside and taking to Hale on the front steps.

"Three hours ago, security cameras picked up your sister being taken by two men. A few moments later Dr. Jonathan Hodgins was injured and then taken as well . "Would you know anything about this?" Sam was in shock, his world started spinning and he reached out to grab the doorframe.

"No, I knew something was wrong when she didn't return my calls. She been busy all week with a Mob case, that's all I know." Hale nodded.

"Thank you Sam, stay in reach and we'll call you when we know more. Hale left and Sam went inside, he picked up his phone and called Clay.

"Y/n and one of her colleagues have been kidnapped. Get Cacuzza on the line now, I think it's got to do with the case they've been working."

The whole of Samcrow showed up ten minutes later, Jax looked like his whole world was ending.

"What do we know?" Clay's tone was firm.

"Nothing, Russo will be here soon, he's more able to help." Jax bristled.

"We shouldn't be bringing outsiders in..."

Sam cut him off, "I don't want to hear it, if you have the best intelligence at your fingertips I'd love to see it." The message was heard loud and clear "shut up, civilian."

"We need to get Cacuzza up to speed, we should do the rest of this at the Clubhouse, the cops are going to be hanging around us like flys. Y/n wouldn't appreciate anyone she doesn't know in her house." They left the moment Sam was done speaking.

He was right, the cops were hanging around like flys, Unser had given them 6 hours before he called the feds. This was one problem Clay couldn't manipulate him into leaving be.

Sam had managed to keep them away from your house, and Uncer had conceived Hale to wait for the kidnappers to make contact before setting anything else up. But it was only a matter of time before the cops took over and he lost you forever.

You woke up to a pounding in your head and the sound of someone groaning. It was pitch black, feeling around you realised you were in a car. You reached your hand out to find the light and turned it on. The radio worked but barely, another groan pulled you away and you looked behind you.

"Oh my God, Jack." His legs were a mangled mess, he was still barely conscious. "Go slow man, your legs are pretty bad." He looked down at them, then over at you.

You had to get out of here.

You went to open the door but it was blocked shut, when you rolled down the window, dirt poured into the car. You and Jack looked at each other.

"We're buried alive. We've been buried alive." He looked at you wide-eyed and terrified.

Cacuzza was waiting for them at the Clubhouse when they arrived, he was with two of his men. He looked unimpressed and irritated.

Hale showed up at the Clubhouse just after they did, he had an evidence bag in his hand.

"We found this on the side of the road, it's y/n weapons and her IDs same for Hodgins. We don't know if they have their phones, we're waiting on the trace." This didn't make Sam feel any better.

"Forget it, y/n friend is on his way. He'd already have the trace, we'll give it to you when we get it from him." Hale was going to keep going but the look on Sam's face would have killed a thousand men, so he left it.

A little while later, Cacuzza received a call; it was an automated voice.

"You have two hours to get up the four million dollars that Barbrow stole from us or we let Samcro's shot doc and her friend suffocate, being buried alive is not a fun way to go. If you contact the police or get anyone else involved, you will never know their location."

Billy arrived on foot, making sure to be as inconspicuous as possible. He walked into the Clubhouse like a dark cloud, he only acknowledged Sam, it was like the rest of them didn't exist.

"The trace cut off on the main highway out of Charming, just inside the woods. I've got two guys out there looking for the phone."

He looked around then outside to the cops, "can the lab help?"

Sam shook his head, "they've all been escorted home, the lab was pretty clear about the conflict of interet, we're lucky were not in the same position.

Cacuzza piped up "They said not to........." An icy chill came over the room and then Billy was walking up to Cacuzza. Billy towered over him, leaning over just so to make the power difference clear.

"If I hear from you for the rest of the day I will slit your throat, as far as I'm concerned this is your fault." Even after Billy walked away from him, the mood didn't change.

"The car radio still has a signal so we can't be buried that far down, we need to find a way to contact the outside." Jack was still groggy.

"I'll check the trunk." He moved slowly, pulling down the back seat to reach in. He pulled out a heap of things, one of your books, a first aid kit, and a small CB radio.

"Thank god we got taken in your car." He nodded and looked down at his legs again.

"Jack, you're going to get compartment syndrome if we don't do something with them." You and went rooting around in the first aid kit, after a while, you had a handful of tools and a small pocket knife laid out in front of both of you.

"Fasciotomies aren't fun but I've done them before. It's just two long quick cuts, one down each leg. All you need to do is take some deep breath, in and out, in and out. I'm not going to give you any warning, try not to go into shock." he nodded and you put knife to skin, there was the rush of blood and fluid and the sound of pained groans.

Jack was pale but still cognizant, "You good?" He gave you another nod.

"Much better."

Are we closer to getting that money?" Jax had been seconds away from putting his fist through the wall since Billy arrived. Cacuzza glanced at Billy then over to Jax. Billy turned his head just enough to acknowledge that the man was still there, "Well, speak?"

"I can't get that much money that fast, it's going to be a while." Sam strode over to him and picked him up by the collar.

"We don't have the fucking long, if it's not here within the hour, I'm going to start cutting hunks of flesh off your body, do you understand me?"

The remaining Sons looked at each other, they weren't in Kansas anymore.

"How are your legs?"

Jack took a deep breath. "Much better, the blood loss isn't as bad as I thought it would be." You leaned over to get a closer look.

"The cuts aren't that deep and the adrenaline is keeping blood away from the surface, if you had a deeper injury you'd have bled out by now." He deflated a bit, "sorry, I realise that probably didn't help." He waved his hand.

"Nah, I find your honesty reassuring." He took another deep breath, and reached for the radio. "We need to try and reach out." You nodded.

"It can't be to just anyone, we have no idea who's monitoring the lines and we are in no shape to fend anyone off." You paused in thought.

"I can try Anvil, they usally have a radio running all the time. While I do that, try and see if you can pull oxygen out of thin air."

"Morticia calling home base, Mortica calling home base, do you read me?"

Jack laughed, "Morticia?" You shook your head.

"A term of endearment, I got it a lot at school as an insult but one of the guys used it once when we were in the middle of an op out in the desert and it stuck."

"Mor....calling........base.......do..re....me." The man at the radio sat up, "tica.......home....ba......read....me." He didn't stop to listen any longer, he called Billy.

Billy's phone rang twice, and something in him told him to answer it.

"LT, I think I've got a CB transmission from Dr l/n, frequency 27.395." Juice ran off to the garage to find a CB radio and returned a few minutes later.

"Will this work?" Billy nodded and yanked it from his hands, he suppressed to urge to start shaking as he tuned it.

"Morticia, this is Blackbird come in. Blackbird calling Morticia."

"th........blackbird.....co...n."

You and Hodgins looked at each other "There's practically no signal." your rubbed your face, "It's close enough, keep working on that O2 scrubber, I'll see if I can get something across.

"Blackbird, Blackbird so you read me?" There was a sputter and a hint of a yes.

"This is ready to go" Jack was getting ready to pour something in a container, you nodded and there was a sizzling burst and it became much easier to breathe. "That bought us an hour or two."

You were looking around the car, trying to see if anything gave away your location.

"Can you smell that?"

Jack lifted his head and took a deep breath, "It smells like trees and sawdust."

You picked up some of the dirt in the car and rubbed your fingers in it. "Where do you think we are?" Jack picked up some dirt, sniffed it then licked his finger, he looked to the side in thought.

"We're near a forest, maybe a lumber yard?" You nodded aggressively.

"That makes sense, the soil is soft and there's easy access. The only thing is there are at least ten in the area." You looked at each other, this would not be easy.

"Lum.....rd........lumb....y...d" The radio chirped again, more nonsense.

Sam picked it up this time, "say again" there was a pause and then the voice was a little louder.

"Lumbe......"

Sam shot up and looked over at Cacuzza "The guy who's taken them, does he own any lumber yards?"

Cacuzza shook his head, "I don't know." Sam was going to start hitting the man when Jax cut in.

"Find out shithead."

"We're running out of air again"

Jack closed his eyes slowly, before opening them and looking around, "the spare tire in the trunk."

He took the knife off the seat and reached into the back to puncture it, there was a rush of air and a stale smell filled the car, you shrugged, "at least it's something."

"They're not going to make it in time, are they?"

You shook your head and reached for your book, "we should write some things down, just in case." Hodgins reached over a took the bit of paper out of your hands.

"I'm sorry we're in this mess Jack."

You put pen to paper, unsure of where to start.

They had managed to keep the cops at bay until they found Billy's men and your phones on the side of the road, after that, Hale wouldn't leave the Clubhouse.

"If you know where they are we can help." Unser was doing his best to keep Samcrow in the driver's seat, but the feds would soon be getting involved if they didn't find you both by the end of the day.

Cacuzza had been busy with a phone call, hopefully trying to find out where you both were.

"Gallo owns two lumber yards close by, only one is off the highway where the phone was found." Billy was up and moving before anyone else even registered what was going on. Sam picked up the radio to let you know that was going on, not that he knew you'd be able to understand.

"..n....ay.....w."

You picked up the radio, "please repeat." There was a beat of silence, then another stutter, "On....y....now." You looked over at jack, so relieved you could cry, it was short-lived.

"We have to let them know we're here, how do we do that? There's got to be miles of cleared land." You looked down, maybe you were going to die here after all.

"Pull in here and go down that path." It didn't take them long to get to the lumber yard, when they got off their bikes and walked to the actual grounds it was clear they wouldn't be able to just find you, Sam tried the radio one last time.

"We're here, where are you?"

It was clear as day, you look over at Jack, who looked like he was about to cry, "We can hear you loud and clear."

You pressed the horn, "Can you hear that outside?"

There was silence and then a reply, "No."

"What if we use the explosive charge from the air bag, we're not that far down, it should displace some dirt."

You clapped your hands together, "brilliant Jack, just brilliant."

You scrambled to give him some room, you felt like your head was underwater; you were running out of air again.

"If it doesn't work the force wave is going to kill us."

Jack looked at you then at the steering wheel, "at least it will be faster than running out of air."

"Look for changes in the dirt, overturned soil and depressions" Everyone scrambled to their own area of the space, the cops had shown up soon after everyone else had. Billy walked over to Unser and spoke in his ear, no one could hear them but Unser seemed to understand what he was saying.

It was useless, there was no indication that anything had been buried anywhere.

"We have an infrared camera on it's way, they'll have to hold out until then."

Jax rushed up to Hale, "they don't have that long asshole, don't you see how much ground we have to cover? You'd need a helicopter."

You had climbed into the back seat with Hodgins, you knew the blast would either get you out of kill you but you knew there was no way the people at the surface would find you without it.

"You ready?" You wrapped you in a hug and then nodded, "whatever happens here today, I want you to know that it's been an honour working with you Dr l/n."

You hugged his back, "the honour was all mine."

Jax saw it out of the corner of his eye, a puff of dirt, "THERE!!!" He ran over before anyone had to chance to register what he had said. Digging as fast as possible, he could feel splinters bare into his skin and then felt his fingers brush something soft. It was your hand, he didn't know where he conjured the strength from, but he managed to pull you out just by your wrist, he could vaguely sense other people around him pulling the dirt aside but all he could focus on was you.

"Jack...you need to get Jack." When he looked over, he could already see the top of the car, so he disobeyed your wishes and pulled you into an embrace.

"I knew you'd find me." He laughed, he couldn't tell whether you were being honest or just relieved you were alive.

"Of course I was going to find you, there's no way I was going to let anything happen to my favourite nerd."

You giggled and lifted a hand to stroke his face, "we really need to get Hodgins to the hospital."

Much to Sam's chagrin, you checked out of the hospital against medical advice. You had just gotten out of the shower when Jax arrived, "how you doing Darlin?"

You waved him in and poured yourself more tea, "would you like some?" He nodded and you got him a cup.

"I'm ok, it's not the first time I've looked at death in the face and laughed. Hodgins will make a full recovery, I'm just pissed at myself that I didn't see it coming." he put a firm hand on your shoulder.

"You're not Wonder Woman y/n. You can't be ready for everything." Your shoulders slumped.

"It's a mob case, I should have seen this coming, I......I almost got one of my best friends and valued teammates killed. This is why I didn't want to work on active cases, it always ends like this." Jax frowned in sympathy.

"Russo said he said was going to talk to the museum about expanding the Anvil's contract, after this, he's pretty sure they'll have to say yes."

This was different from your typical dynamic, you were the one normally doing the soothing.

"Can I come and see Abel tomorrow?" Jax's heart broke at your tone, he didn't want to know what you were thinking about trapped in that car.

"Of course you can." Your resolve was crumping, there was no adrenaline left to keep you standing and you fell against Jackson's chest.

"I thought I was going to die Jax, I thought 'That's it. I've survived wars zone and mass graves only to die in some shit car in the middle of the California woods'."

You let out a pained laugh, Jax pressed you into him, "but you didn't die, you and Hodgins got yourself out and now you're home safe." He felt you nod.

"I think I better head off the bed, I'm going to need to sleep for the next week to recover." Jax huffed at you.

"Good idea, can I come by in the afternoon to check on you?" You nodded and pulled away

"Sure, I'd like that."

Jax fought the urge to fall over on your front steps, there was no doubt in his mind about his feelings for you after today. He loved you, with all his heart. He just didn't know how to tell you.

Been seeing you getting hate mail and while I absolutely can't understand why anyone would go to all the trouble to make some one else feel bad... I also kinda really love the discourse on Scott? Like YOUR RANTS oh man. On point. Always. Tbh I tried giving Scott a chance... He is the main char after all... But I was like??? Wtf? That dude does nothing but refute others and does whatever he wants. And this was when I didn't particularly like Stiles either (first time watching Teen Wolf). But then I got to know more of him and like Tony he went asshole to lovable asshole—seriously, Stiles might not be the ‘nicest’ but he tries and his heart is in good place—while Scott is just... self-righteous. Someone pointed out that he sees people as possessions and that irks me too that I can actually see it being true. The dude has literally nothing going on except for being the one that gets bitten. And the Romeo-and-Juliet-esque romance he has.

Okay, okay, where was I going with this?? Right. LOVE YOUR RANTS. People need to understand that Scott not being liked isn't because of his race or anything trivial like it—he just happens to be—but because of his actions. Or inactions, as it were. *remembers the pool scene and Scott saying he's busy and resists the urge to chuck a shoe at him*

I've talked with some friends about it, and our number one issue sort of...boiled down to the hypocrisy of the show? I....sort of rant a lot here, and I would add a Read More, but I can't find the option anymore?? I fucking hate Tumblr. EDIT: I found a post that told me how to do it!

So, since he's the character I focus on the most, let's talk about Stiles' morality. Because, you're right. Stiles is an asshole. He does some fucking awful shit in the first season, and even if he had a Reason to do it, it was still bad. And I still don't like it. But I understand it.

Stiles' lack of shits about what is 'lawful' is literally established in the first ten seconds of the show. He's a sheriff's son who sneaks onto people's roofs in the middle of the night bc they aren't answering his calls, who listens in on his dad's work conversations and is willing to fuck up a crime scene because he's so excited about getting to see a dead body. He doesn't care about laws. He doesn't even care about most basic manners (invasion of privacy much, with having Scott sniff Lydia to see if she liked him?). He's a dickhead, even to the people he cares about sometimes. But personality and morality aren't the same. Stiles' entire actual morality system is based around whatever he needs to do to keep the people he loves safe and happy. Lying to his dad so he doesn't get murdered by hunters? Totally fine. Telling Scott that it was "Jackson's own fault" that Scott attacked him with superstrength and dislocated his shoulder, so Scott doesn't feel like an asshole? That's just best friend duties! He will lie, steal, cheat, and he will kill to keep his loved ones safe (let's not forget this boy threw molotovs at Peter, knowing damn well what they would do to him). We can headcanon all we want about all the different people who are in this group of loved ones, but the list is canonically very short: Scott, his dad, and Lydia. Later on, like, past s3B? It includes Derek. Canonically. Stiles puts his life and the lives of others he cares about on the line while he lies to the matriarch of the Calavera hunter clan, to save Derek Hale. Derek is just canonically a part of that group now, and he fucking knows it bc Stiles is his anchor (that's canon too bb). End of Story, Sterek or no Sterek. It's why we get that insane number of lookbacks when Derek is dying before his evolution. Because Stiles is being forced to choose between two people who are BOTH in his ride-or-die group. He Cannot Pick between Scott and Derek, until Derek begs him to leave.

SO, yes, Stiles does fuckface things, and I don't always agree with what he does, but it is ACCURATE TO HIS CHARACTER. He is morally grey. He NEVER CLAIMS to be pure or good or just or righteous. Stiles knows who he is, and he stays true to himself. And I love him for that.

The same goes for a bunch of other characters! For Peter, who is strikingly similar to Stiles, in that family goes above literally everything. Screw the idea that he was following Derek around waiting for the chance to steal back the Alpha spark. That man put his life on the line (his second life, no less) to get the shit beaten out of him until Derek let him help save Derek's life Again and Again. Family Comes First.

Scott's morality is...confusing as fuck. I thought at first he was similar to Stiles, in that family came first, but...while he's protective of his mother, he also does a lot of stuff that puts her at risk without seeming to care/worry (like leaving Peter alone with her once Stiles hits their car, so he can chase Jackson) (or asking her to come to the high school when he's convinced there's a bomber in it)? Seriously, he's more protective over Allison, than his mother. It's very black and white the rest of the time. Very "this bad" "this good." And if you do "bad" then you are bad forever, while if you do "good" you are only good until you do "bad." The Betas were "good" until they asked for the bite, and then they were "Bad." Derek was "bad" when Scott met him and scared him, so after that, no matter how much "good" he did, he remained "bad." But only when it suits him. Allison is good even when she does bad, because he wants her to be good. Chris is good even though he's done mountains of bad, because of the minuscule amount of good that Scott has seen him do, because Scott wants him to be good. Even DEUCALION is good, despite the crazy CRAZY amount of bad he's done and despite having seen him do NO GOOD, just because Scott wants him to be good. Lying to those closest to you is bad, unless Scott is doing it, and then it's good, because he knows HE is good. Killing people is bad, unless Scott is doing it. Letting villains go is bad, unless Scott is doing it. Biting people is bad, unless Scott is doing it. Protecting family is good even if it requires killing or lying, unless it's not Scott doing it. Revenge for past slights is good, unless it's not SCOTT doing it. And you try to understand it! You try to say, okay, then he's morally grey, got it. He plays with the rules to suit his own morality, whatever. Except that Scott, the other characters, and THE SHOW ITSELF, are all telling you otherwise! They all say that Scott is morally pure. That he is good and righteous and lawful. That he always does the "right" thing, and that when he does "bad" things, it's justified and he had to. THE HEAVENS THEMSELVES say Scott is somehow better or more righteous than the other characters by MAKING HIM AN ALPHA OUT OF NOWHERE. (I'm talking abt canon here, not going into deaton conspiracy theories) It's like....Like in the hate mail response I did, where I pointed out that Every Single Thing people get angry at Derek for doing, Scott did too. Lying, killing (or at least attempting it), attacking innocents, losing his temper, keeping secrets, refusing to work with someone who could help, etc etc etc. Everything Derek has done that is morally "wrong," Scott has also done. And that's okay! Doing a bad thing doesn't make you a bad person, and even if it did, Scott is ALLOWED to be bad! GO FOR IT.

Except that he is sinless. It isn't that he learns from the bad things he does, it's that they aren't treated like bad things in the first place. Because Scott did it, and Scott always does the right thing.

Derek's behavior is reprehensible at times, but the show ADMITS that and frames it as bad. Frames it as him doing a bad thing when he scares Isaac or throws Peter or tells Erica who to date. And that's fine, because Derek is established as not being morally pure.

But SCOTT IS. And because they were so desperate to make him continue being "Pure" they didn't frame the things he did as wrong, or if they did, they absolved him of it immediately, using the exact same reasoning that works for Derek's situations, but this time Actually Accepting it.

He scares Stiles, well it's because he's scared. He throws Isaac, it's because he's upset. He attacks Jackson well it's because Jackson was being a dick. He orders Allison to date Matt, well he had a goal to accomplish. Every reason is treated like a fucking doctor's note that erases the bad things he does.

Being scared, or angry, or retaliating to someone being an asshole, or trying to protect himself, was NEVER a good enough reason for Derek to do ANYTHING "Bad." It was never an acceptable excuse.

IF IT WERE: If the show were making a statement about how fallable people are, how they do bad things, but they do them for a REASON. How people will do wild and terrible things out of fear, and how that doesn't make it less bad, but it makes it understandable, so don't demonize them out of nowhere. If that were the case, I would HAVE BEEN FINE WITH IT.

Scott is held to COMPLETELY different standards than everyone else in the show! And I DON'T mean that people held him to higher ones. They dropped that bar so fucking low. Anything was allowed, and any excuse was good enough.

He made out with a girl who was dating someone else, who his best friend was in love with? It's just the full moon, he's angsty about losing Allison. He ducttapes Liam to a bathtub and starts throwing random phrases at him that he hated Derek for saying to him? He's freaked out! He doesn't know what to do with a bitten wolf! It was an accident! He works with a mass murderer behind people's backs without telling them the whole story? Am I talking about Gerard or Deucalion? Who fucking knows. Either way, it's okay, because he was protecting his family. He plots to murder a cancer patient slowly and painfully by replacing meds that likely included painkillers with mountain ash, and the uses someone else's body to deliver the killing blow, and it's okay because he was just being smart! He was just working ten steps ahead! He was saving his mom and the whole town! Who cares if it DIDN"T WORK?

He walks into his ex-girlfriend's hotel room and scares the SHIT out of her while she's naked and alone in the shower? It was the wolfsbane. It doesn't matter that no one else's impulses included HARASSING someone. He lies to his girlfriend's face about her own life because he doesn't think it's important enough for her to know (who am I talking about, come on, take a guess, which one is it? Allison or Kira? Trick question: it's both). He was just being kind! He didn't want to worry her! He didn't want to make her feel bad! She didn't need to know!

I'm so far off track it's not even funny. My point was that Everything the other characters in the show are demonized for or framed as evil or bad or wrong for doing, Scott is shown to do and it's treated like at minimum a comedy, if not a Perfect Brilliant Strategic Move.

God, fucking hell. I mean, the PARALLELS you see in this show, between Scott and others. The scene of Alexander Argent going to the hotel after being bit? That bit where he pulls his shirt up in the mirror? It's a near PERFECT replica of Scott looking at his bite at Deaton's. They paralleled SCOTT MCCALL with AN ARGENT. Deaton has this whole line in S2 where he's bitching at Derek about "the person you should trust the most doesn't trust you at all" And then seasons later, we have Scott look his best friend in the eye and refuse to trust him, only to get upset later because Stiles doesn't want to work with him anymore and he "lost them." Scott goes running into Derek's house in S1 to accuse him of killing the bus driver, and when he can't get a real response, he EGGS HIM ON by accusing him of Murdering his SISTER, just to get Derek to react. Which is the EXACT same thing Kate did when she showed up and wanted Derek to lose his temper. Scott is CONSTANTLY paralleled with villains and assholes, and constantly does the things that others are persecuted for. But instead of feeling regret or learning something from it, instead of growing AT ALL. Those actions are treated as good. We are told they are righteous. And clever. That they are what heroes do. AND YES: There are parallels between Derek and Stiles' behaviors and villains/morally grey characters! Of course there are!

BUT THEY AREN'T SUPPOSED TO BE THE TRUE ALPHA MAIN CHARACTER. SCOTT IS SUPPOSED TO BE THE GOOD GUY. HE'S NOT SUPPOSED TO MIMIC/EMULATE THE VILLAINS, AND HE'S NOT SUPPOSED TO BE REWARDED WHEN HE DOES IT ANYWAY.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again; I understand the urge to think that the Teen Wolf writers did all of this on purpose. That they built Scott up as an unreliable narrator, so that we're forced to come to terms with a protagonist who isn't good, and we watch them fall into a villainous role while thinking all the while they are a hero. That all these parallels are intentional and the writers just couldn't Tell us what was going on bc they didn't have enough power.

And sometimes I play into it. I will lie to myself about Scott being the 'narrator' of the entire show, and that we're seeing it all through his eyes so of course things are biased and conflicting, just so I can actually Enjoy watching it.

But I think it's absolute bullshit that this was done on purpose. It wasn't. The parallels appeared because they Wanted Scott to do the badass things that they had all the villains doing, throwing people and being sneaky and clever, and stopping the bad guy, and they didn't want to deal with the fact that they were having him do bad things. So they just pretended he wasn't and refused to acknowledge that they'd already punished other people for doing the same exact shit, but somehow Scott was getting rewarded. They wanted Scott to be the hero, so they made him the hero, and screw everybody else.

Bonded 'Verse - yeah it's a series, but they're all connected.

Fandom: Supernatural | Ship: Dean Winchester/Castiel

This is like... the first "long" fic I read. It's still the longest series I've ever read, and it's at like... 2 MILLION WORDS. Even more than that. And yeah, it's rated E, but the fluff is immaculate! And the familyyyyy yessss! (Ngl the smut is weird af for my tastes, but I love every character in this series to pieces <3 so I endured lol).

It follows Dean and Castiel, a Demon and an Angel (there's three species in this world: Angels, Demons and Humans, and even in them there is this subdivision of Submissives and Dominants, which is like this universe's terms for Omega and Alpha). As you can already tell, this is an Mpreg fic, but it starts in college and with a roommates + enemies to lovers arc that's a little cliché, but hey, still incredible! This is the first part in the series, and then in the second we see Dean and Castiel living their lives and thinking of starting a family and starting a family and being parents and being in love. It's also not just fluff, there's this plot with Lucifer, and then there's the whole discrimination that Dean/Castiel face for being an interspecies couple, and there's some heartbreaking moments where their kids face speciesm for being of "mixed" blood.

In short I love this series and could go on forever, and sorry already you had to read so much about a fandom you probably don't go to 😂

Fandom: Teen Wolf | Ship: Derek Hale/Stiles Stilinski

Okay so this is fairly famous I think, probably even a staple Sterek fic, and for good reason. THIS IS INCREDIBLE. Even if this is an Alternate Universe, where much of the canon has been disregarded, the relationship between Derek and Stiles and the background in the "Raising Home" fic (to be read between chapter 15 and 16 of "Home") is like... tears worthy. I cried, full on fucking sobbed, this is SO good. I love this. Give it a read if you're new to the Sterek Fandom, trust me you won't be disappointed. There's even Art (by the writer herself!!!) embedded into the fic, and it's not just one or two, but like, one or two in EVERY CHAPTER.

Please give this a read, or even a reread. This fic deserves all the love in the world.

Okay so, this is post-Endgame, and Tony Stark is Dead. Everyone is grieving, and there's this black cloud of depression hanging over the world—and Jim Morita, the Principal of Midtown High (fun fact: he was played by Kenneth Choi, aka Chimney from 911 Show), decides that he can't watch his kids waste away like this. So, he arranges a Field Trip to SI Industries, which is more the farmhouse Tony had than the Tower we know and love.

There's Grief/Mourning. There's Angst. There's Tears. There's Action. There's soft IronDad and SpiderSon in flashbacks. There's Identity Reveal (hence the title of the fic). It's cathartic.

Summary: Y/N Stark was taken from her family when she was three years old. It's fifteen years later and her family believes she is dead. Then how is she living in Beacon Hills?

"Happy birthday, Petal."

Tears slowly trickle down Tony's cheeks as he stares down at the grave in front of him. Today would've been Y/N Stark's 18th birthday.

Tony looks up to see that he isn't the only one crying.

Steve and Bucky are leaning into each other for comfort as they stare down at the grave of the girl who was their goddaughter. Beside them is Sam, who is trying to stay strong for the sake of his friends, but his facade is starting to fall. Behind him is Thor and his brother Loki. While Loki hardly knew Y/N as a child, he was there to comfort his brother, who still feels responsible for the girl's death even though he had nothing to do with it.

On Tony's left, he can see Vision holding Wanda as she sobs into his chest. Bruce is watching Natasha clean the area around Y/N's headstone and carefully place all the bouquets of flowers they brought for her. Tony knows she's only doing it to keep herself busy in hopes of not bursting into tears in front of everyone.

Lastly, there's Peter, standing next to his father as he stares down at his little sister's grave, whom he misses with all his heart. He still wonders if there was anything he could do that could've saved her.

"When is Pepper coming?"

Tony darts his eyes over to Bucky, who is looking at him with a nervous look on his face. He knows it's the question everyone has been secretly wondering, but Bucky seems to be the only one brave enough to ask.

"I've been told that she is coming by later with Morgan. I'm surprised she even knows what today is."

They can all see the bitter look on his face as he thinks about his ex-wife. Y/N going missing caused an enormous strain on their marriage. Tony blamed Pepper and Pepper blamed Tony. While her kidnapping put a strain on their marriage, nothing compares to what the news of Pepper being pregnant did.

It was two months after Y/N's disappearance when Pepper finally decided to tell Tony the news. She had discovered she was pregnant two weeks after Y/N was taken from them. She decided to wait and tell Tony because he was hardly home as he looked for any signs of Y/N every day. After a month and a half of keeping her pregnancy from Tony, she finally decided to tell him as she was starting to show slightly, and she hoped to get his mind off Y/N. She too wished more than anything to have her little girl back, but Tony was going to end up dead with the way he was going.

She thought telling him would make their lives a bit better, but it only made it worse.

"Tony, can you please sit down and have dinner with Peter and me."

"I can't. My little girl is somewhere out there scared and alone and wondering when her dad is going to save her."

"You won't be able to save her when you pass out from you being malnourished. You've hardly eaten in two months. You've lost some weight and not in a healthy way. I want her back here just as much as you, but when we find her, I want to be well enough to hurt those who have hurt her."

Tony grumbled something angrily under his breath as he stood up behind his desk in his little home office.

"Fine. I will eat the dinner you made, but then I'm coming back in here, and I'm not leaving until I find something."

They walked to the kitchen of their little cabin. When they adopted Peter at three months old, they decided that living at the compound full of accident-prone heroes with superpowers and special abilities was not the best idea. They moved into a cabin in the middle of nowhere so they could live their family life in peace and away from the dangers the rest of the world brought.

While walking into the kitchen, Tony saw Peter patiently waiting for his parents to join him at the kitchen table. He kept asking where she was, and they were running out of things to tell him.

Tony and Pepper silently joined Peter at the table. Tony quickly started to eat the chicken on the plate in front of him.

"Slow down, Tony. We haven't seen you in weeks, and your research will still be there when we're done."

Tony glared down at his plate. "It's not just some silly research. I am trying to find–" he stopped himself as he glanced over at Peter– "I am trying to find something important to me. I'm sorry that it doesn't seem that important to you."

Pepper huffed in annoyance. "She is just as important to me as she is to you."

"Then act like it!"

Peter jumped at his dad's outburst. He looked at his parents who seemed to have some kind of stare-down.

"When is Y/N coming home?"

Tony and Pepper looked at the boy who was nervously playing with his food as he waited for his parent's reaction. Tony sighed as he prepared to finally tell the boy the truth. He was tired of keeping this from him, and he knew Peter would keep asking.

"Tony, don't."

"He deserves to know. I am tired of all the lying, and he deserves to know. She's his sister."

"He's just a kid. He doesn't need to know."

Tony ignored her as he turned toward Peter. "P, do you remember your birthday party two months ago?"

Peter softly replied as he nodded his head, "We had a big party at the compound."

"Correct. Now, do you remember how we told you that the reason your sister didn't come home with us that night was because she got sick and went home with Uncle Steve and Uncle Buck?"

"You said that she ate too much cake."

Tony took a deep breath as he steadied himself to tell the boy that his sister was missing.

"P, your sister wasn't sick, sh–"

"Tony!"

Tony looked back at Pepper, "He deserves to know."

Tony turned back to Peter and looked into his scared, tearful eyes, "P, your sister was taken."

"Taken?"

"Some very bad men took her from the party, and we don't know where she is."

"How?" Tears fell down Peter's face as he tried to come up with an explanation in his head. He didn't understand how his sister could be taken from one of the most protected places in the world. His family was the Avengers, and somehow his sister was taken from a party they were all at.

"We don't know. We have been looking into everything, and we are doing everything we can to find her. We won't stop until she is home."

"My sister was taken, and you've been lying to me this whole time!"

"P, we–"

"No! I don't want to hear your lies!" Peter jumps up from his seat and storms off to his room. They can hear him slam his door shut.

Pepper stood up from her seat and grabbed Peter's plate to put it away in the fridge in case he got hungry later in the night.

"I told you not to tell him."

"The longer we kept lying to him, the more upset he was going to be with us when we finally decided to tell him." Tony got up from his spot at the table and brought his plate over to the sink to wash it.

Pepper knew this wasn't the right time to tell Tony the news, but she couldn't keep putting it off. She didn't know how he would react, but she hoped he wouldn't respond too poorly.

"Tony, I have to tell you something."

Tony quietly mumbled in acknowledgment as he dried his plate.

"I'm pregnant."

Tony immediately stopped drying the plate in his hand, and Pepper could practically feel the tension radiating from his body. Tony turned his head toward Pepper.

"No."

"No?"

"No."

Pepper huffed frustratedly, "What do you mean no?"

"I mean no! I can't deal with this right now! My little girl has been missing for two months, and you are already trying to replace her! Is this why you seem to not give a shit about her being missing?" Tony throws the plate in his hand into the sink. It shatters into pieces from the harsh impact.

"I am not replacing her! I miss her just as much as you do!"

"Do you? You've basically gone back to your life as if she was never in it. Why is that? Is it because now you're pregnant with a biological child? Some girl who was left in front of the compound means nothing to you now?"

"She is not some girl! She is my daughter too! I didn't plan on getting pregnant! I found out two weeks after she was taken from us. What you should really be asking is how the hell was our daughter kidnapped from the compound without no one knowing? You brag all the time about how secure and advanced that compound is, and yet you have nothing! You can't even say what time she was taken!"

"Her kidnapping isn't my fault!"

"How is it not? I begged you to leave all of this Avenger nonsense when we adopted Peter! I told you that something bad would happen, but you let your massive ego do the talking, and you claimed that nothing would ever happen! Now look! Our daughter is gone, and we should start facing the fact that she's probably already dead!"

Tony thought he was angry before, but now he was furious.

"Y/N is not dead."

"How do you know that? It's been two months, and you haven't gotten any closer to finding her than the night she was taken. She is three years old, and we have to face the fact that there is about a 99% chance that she is dead. You know the statistics!"

"How have you just given up on her? Until I find her, alive or dead, I will never give up on looking for her. I promised her the day she was dropped off on our doorstep that I would always be there for her. I wasn't there for her when she was taken, but I won't stop until I can be there for her again. Just because you have given up hope doesn't mean that I have."

Tony stormed out of the kitchen toward the front door as Pepper followed him. He slipped on his tennis shoes that were sitting near the door and grabbed his keys from their key bowl.

"Where are you going?"

"I can't be here right now. I'm sleeping at the compound tonight."

"You can't just run away from this. From us."

Tony sighed as he finally looked up at Pepper, "I am not running away. I need to get out of here. I'll be back tomorrow. Hopefully, by then, you'll realize that our daughter is still out there, and I will find her."

Tony rushed out the front door and went straight to his car. Pepper watched dolefully as Tony drove away from their home. Tony returned the next morning, but he returned with a moving truck and divorce papers.

"What time do you leave tomorrow?"

Tony blinks away from his memories at the sound of Clint's voice. He looks over to Clint, who is staring at him with concern in his eyes.

"We leave at 9:00 AM tomorrow. Someone should be there cleaning the lake house now."

"Are you excited, Pete?"

"Oh yeah. Three months in an isolated lake house with my dad, my uncles Steve, Buck, Sam, Bruce, and Thor, and my aunt Tasha and Wanda. It's gonna be a blast," Peter replies sarcastically.

"Hey! What's wrong with spending time with us? Bird boy, I get, but what's wrong with me," Bucky quickly objected. Sam gives Bucky an offended look at the terrible nickname he called him.

Tony signs solemnly while looking down at Y/N's grave, "This will be the first time we've gone back there since she was taken. She loved the lake house. Three years old, and she somehow figured out a way to sneak onto a jet and have JARVIS take her there. I remember her saying how she wanted to live there when she was older."

"It will be hard, but it's for the best. We are going there to celebrate her. She might no longer be with us physically, but she is with us in our hearts," Wanda added, "Plus, I've heard that the town near it has even grown quite a bit in the last several years. I mean, the murder rate and freaky happenings are kinda high, but it seems like a cool place."

"How does it having a high murder rate make it a cool place," Clint asked with a confused look on his face.

"One, I said it's kinda high. Two, I said it seems cool, not that it is cool."

"I'm just hoping that burger place on the edge of town is still open," Steve added.

"What was that place called again," Peter asked.

"Bob's Patty Shack."

"How do you remember that? I can't even remember the name of the town," Bucky looked at Steve questionably.

"That's how good their burgers are. They've never left my mind."

"What's the town called again," Peter asked.

"Beacon Hills.”

Teen Wolf Characters and The Music I Associate Them With Part 1 of ?

Stiles Stilinski- definitely an All Time Low fan. I feel like their sound and energy would really go with well his own energy. I definitely feel like he'd really love Set It Off as well, especially after being possessed by the nogitsune, especially their Cinematics and Midnight albums. He also unironically likes One Direction. Like definitely a Directioner, but only Scott would know, cuz, y'know. I would also assume that since he is seen wearing a Beatles shirt, that he actually likes them as well. Very into 90s grunge music and 2000s pop punk because, nostalgia and it was actually good music. Maybe a Swiftie? Not 100% on that one.

Scott McCall- very similar to Stiles' music taste. Definitely a lot of pop punk, alternative, and indie music. Not big on mainstream music, although he'd definitely be into Halsey and maybe even Yungblud. As for oldies. Also into 90s grunge and 2000s pop punk, probably even had a crush on Avril Lavigne back in the day. I think he might've grown up on 80s rock thanks to his mom so he'd like KISS, Bon Jovi, Mötley Crüe, Poison, really any kind of rock music from that era. He'd be a secret Justin Bieber fan. Idc, fight me about it, but I don't think he'd tell Stiles either cuz he'd rip on him and he just can't handle that shiz.

Allison Argent- I imagine that she has very eclectic taste. She probably likes a little bit of everything. I think she'd geniunely love Pink because of her being so badass and being all about female empowerment. She would also really like Paramore, Kelly Clarkson, and even Amy Winehouse. If she was alive today, I whole heartedly believe she'd like Ashnikko. I also think she'd really enjoy the band Against Me! and would love Janis Joplin and Stevie Nicks. When she's in her feels, I think that's when she'd bust out Celine Dion and even Toni Braxton.

Lydia Martin- pop queen for sure. She's all about what's new and what's hot right now. Very up to date on music just like she is with fashion and make up, just anything super trendy. When she wants a sense of nostalgia, I think she'd be into Destiny's Child, No Doubt and anything from the 2000s when she's with her friends. However, when she's with her mom, they'll definitely sing Madonna and Cyndi Lauper together and go all out for the Go Gos when they're in the car together.

Derek Hale- rock. Straight up rock. From the 70s to now, just rock. Not afraid to admit that he likes Halestorm or The Pretty Reckless. Likes Black Sabbath, Led Zepplin, Ted Nugent (like one song cuz Ted's a creep), Rolling Stones and even Queen. I think his favorite would be Avenged Sevenfold. If anyone gets in his car and tries to play anything other than rock (unless he truly loves you, and even that's not a certainty) he'll give you the death glare for touching his radio and will make you change the station back or he'll rip your throat out.

Omg so have you been able to see Nine Days already? lucky 👏🏻👏🏻 I know you don't want to do spoilers but just tell me please if he has a lot or little screen time. I know that Wiston and Zazie are the main characters, but I would like to know if Kane has more or less like Willard. I'm used to Bill and his short roles, at least I know that in this movie he can't die because he's a soul that hasn't been born yet and that he looks beautiful as always 😊

The only characters with a lot of screen time are those played by Winston Duke, Benedict Wong, and Zazie Beetz. However, each of the characters are important. My favorite characters were Tony Hale’s and Bill’s.
