You're all starting to worry me please tell me we all understand that Lestat was being scripted to speak bullshit at the trial. The show makes it abundantly clear when he's going off script saying what he actually wants to say, the music and projections stop when he says something that he's not supposed to. Also you can TELL Lestat is sometimes out of it, there's a shot of him wobbling from side to side like he's about to faint or something. We all got that right????
