Soda and Steve are laughing so hard that their stomachs hurt and they lay down to get them to stop hurting 

And then they fall asleep

Two-Bit is watching television with ponyboy on the couch and they’re both fading a bit but two-bit definitely lasts longer and shoves poor pony onto the floor

You cover him with a blanket at least

Then go back to talking about him with Johnny

“Whiny little-”

Two-Bit starts to really fade around two in the morning and he’s looking over at u like hhh if I sleep now you’ll talk about me too

“We’ve already been talking about you.”

“Go to sleep.”

He tries not to but someone passed him his beer back and he passes out man

So it’s just you and johnny

And you trust the boy

You shouldn’t, really

He is a devil in disguise

But you do and you both go to sleep knowing that the other won’t graffiti on their fAcE

Ponyboy wakes up on the porch under a blanket (Steve woke up extra early to move him)

And Dallas was moved halfway through the night to be resting in a line with the garbage cans in the backyard

He is mad

But then he comes in and there’s breakfast so

Y’all eat and all is well
