I’m getting pretty tempted to obtain Paul McCartney’s The Lyrics book just for the absurdity. The surreal dream of what McCartney will state consciously and/or publicly… He does love Magritte…

And so when I hear The Long and Winding Road might be about…👻 a road, and Eleanor Rigby about nothing much but also an extraneous lengthy John anecdote… idk, in another world I’d perhaps wish for McCartney to stand on top of a mountain with his emotional intelligence flag unfurled, but in THIS world, I might just have to appreciate the surrealist painting I’m given.
