I hate that Tom Holland is like the most popular Ben 10 fancast and it is 100% because of his Spider-Man. Like it's not Mr. Holland himself I have no beef with him on principle all my issues with his Spider-Man are entirely due to the writing. But regardless if they were ever to actually make a live-action Ben 10 reboot and cast him I would probably castrate the nearest living thing

#like i know the only reason he's such a popular choice #is cause of the misconception normies have that ben 10 is Just Like Spider-Man #when in reality all their similarities are surface-level things that neither of them have a patent on #y'know like how people describe daredevil or moon knight as just ''marvel's batman'' and nothing more #basically anyone who thinks peter and ben are the same probably only watched ben 10 as a kid but doesn't actually remember much of it #but anyway my point is tom is the popular choice for ben because people think ben is just like spidey #so knowing hollywood if they actually did cast him as ben they'd write him as like an awkward nervous uwu soft boy small bean #which would be just as inaccurate as it is with peter #and then all the 14 year olds from here to twitter would think that's how he actually is. just like with peter.#and it would be really really annoying #also i just don't trust big budget live-action remakes of classic kids cartoons on principle since 90% of them suck ass #shut up tristan
