oh my dearest @ii01vp you have no idea how long i've craved to induce tears :> BUT YES I WANNA DO THIS, thank YOU and stay safe too :DD
(reblogs are greatly appreciated, it helps get my content out there! if you guys like what you see, please reblog it too <:D)
content warnings! mentions of sharp blades, blood, and bleeding please don't read ahead if you are uncomfortable with the topic ^^
blood spilled everywhere on the floor as a sharp blade was lodged into your chest cavity. it happened in an instant, the second of an instant–you couldn't even count to three, and a blade had already pierced your chest, creating a crevice in your heart, forcing blood to spill out of you.
you gasped for breath, for help, for a hand to reach out to–but nobody, not a single soul was there to save you. not even him. you prayed you'd get out of this alright, you'll come out of this alive--because what kind of person deserves a demise in the hands of a lowlife criminal that wanted to take your money.
how defiant you were not to give them a single cent. in the end, a single cent costed you another minute of your life.
you cried out, hoping someone, anyone, would hear. begging to the skies above to bring someone to you, to help you, at least be with you in your final moments as all the blood would soon be drained from your ailing body, for you didn't want to die alone. you didn't care who it was, so long as you weren't alone at the time of your death.
your vision was getting hazy, your feet were giving way as you became more and more light-headed the more the blood stained your garments and imbued in them a deep, red hue. you gasped, hoping to make up for the lost oxygen as the blood continued pouring out of you.
"someone... a-any... one..." you choked out as blood poured out of your chest, no matter what efforts you took to put pressure on the gaping wound. you felt yourself growing weaker and weaker, and to make matters worse, you felt drops of water on your head, back, and shoulders; it would be raining, and raining hard. your cries for help as you waddled on with what little strength you had left would be drowned out in the flood of noise the rain would create.
you fell to your knees, your hands keeping you steady as your breathing became more and more labored. this was it, you thought. i'm going to die. i'm going to die alone, in the rain, in an unnamed alley with rats and bugs as the only witnesses of my death, you said to yourself as the tears began to pour, staining the collar of your shirt along with the drops of blood coloring it with a bright red.
"peter..." you called out for the name of the man you loved, who once held you so dearly and promised never to hurt you or let you get hurt; the man whose kiss tasted sweet like ripe oranges and whose lips fit into yours just right, as if the universe brought you two together to worsen the pain of having you taken away from each other.
your vision was soon darkening, you were going to lose all sensation in a few moments. but before you could close your eyes, possibly never to open them again, you heard footsteps nearby, big footsteps rushing through the puddles formed by the rain--puddles that were doused in the fresh redness of your blood.
you wondered who it could be, but then again, why did it matter? they couldn't save you, not like they'd care to. you were just another statistic in the grand scheme of things--who else would care about another dead body in the alleyway? well... he would.
"l... love..." muttered a shaky voice as the figure who was rushing through puddles moved closer and closer to you, their steps getting slower and slower all the while; as if they were reeling themselves from wanting to just run up towards you. "who..." you muttered, and before you could even answer, the figure was now hovering over you. "...spider... man?" you murmured out as you faced the black and gray clad man.
his gloved hands were quaking, they reached out toward you. "how... how could i... how could i let th-this..." he muttered as he choked back tears. you were confused, what was spider man doing to a total stranger like you, reaching his hand out and weeping over a soul he never met before. "spider man... it's okay... just--please--lock... that criminal... up." you made out with a small smile and a wheezing cough that followed afterwards.
spider man shook his head. "no... no, no, no!" he shouted, which made you gasp. "i'm... i'm sorry... i couldn't... first, uncle ben, and now..." he cried out as he started to weep under his mask. with the last bit of strength you had, you shushed spider man, reaching your hand out for his that caressed your cheek. "spider man... please don't cry... over a--a stranger..." you whispered as he held your hand tightly, and soon... you were gone.
and peter... felt like he had died along with you. words can never begin to describe the sorrow and anguish he felt when he saw you there in that alleyway as he was chasing down that criminal, he could never imagine just how painful it was for you, and he feels like all the punishments in the world were never enough to absolve him for the sin of not being around long enough for you.
for not being able to save you when he could've done something.
"why... why them? why not me?" was all he could cry out to the skies above as he took off his mask and wept, still holding your cold hand in his own, as your lifeless body beat no more for the man you loved and held dearly in your, now pierced and unbeating, heart.
a/n: miguel was watching from a rooftop nearby with jess around the corner and with ben reilly narrating his secondhand grief.

Since I decided the best way to make it through Our Skyy 2 with minimal damage is to drink my way through it, welcome to the sixth round of
CockTails in the Skyy!
This week's drink is Deja Brew since we just saw this group six days ago:
dark coffee for our "tough" boss
vanilla brandy for the boss's babe
soy milk and ice for the men holding it together Tubtab and Jack
whipped cream and chocolate shavings for the disgustingly sweet Three and Zo
I don't like coffee, I didn't like the series, and I don't think I'll like this, but I like brandy, I'm obsessed with how Cher says "Boss" and anything that gets me more ThreeZo and Jack is worth watching.
Bottoms up!
What in the Tom, Dick, and Harry is happening?!
Call him honey, darling, or DADDY! <- Aoi gets it!
Cher feeding Gun who has a visible mustache shadow is hitting a sweet spot.
This is what upsets me - JimmySea and ForceBook have the domestic chemistry down. They excel at, yet had the wildest plots to work with. I hope Last Twilight and Only Friends do these men justice.
The yellow writing that keeps popping up is throwing me off.
Nice to see the wild ass color scheme is still going strong here, Reon!
The friend group is the reason I showed up every week!
Zo threatening his man while smiling is why I love him the most-est.
Cher made that imaginary intern very cute, but we all know Gun, who doesn't like skinship, would not touch that man like that.
Aoi getting more screen time this outing makes me upset that I didn't get MORE of her in the series. She was the best officemate.
I wonder how the office feels about Cher being ridiculous during office hours when he doesn't even work there. I'd be entertained, honestly, because I love other people's drama.
Okay, this is the tough boss I waited to see the entire series! Where was this jerk for twelve episodes?!
The entire office is really asking Cher to get his man together before they Julius Caesar his ass.
Cher constantly wearing Gun's colors is warming my ice cold heart.
I would love to believe that Gun doing 500 sit-ups is unrealistic, but then I remember Force's body-ody-ody and . . . do what you gotta do to maintain, sir.
I've written this before, but Force looks like a marble statue, and I need him to be in a BL about gym bros. Book can play the guy looking to get fit, and Force can be his trainer. Don't let those arm veins go to waste, GMMTV!
Gun is smiling like a ventriloquist, and it's creepy af.
Y'all, I'm really liking this installment. It's the Vice Versa one all over again. What are they going to do to eff this up?
Cher to Gun - "Are you finished or are you done?"
Why is everyone acting sus at this dinner?
I'm clutching my pearls that Cher's bright idea was to have Three and Zo fight.
I'm so conflicted. I want to be upset, but now Gun just gave Cher jewelry! Then Gun was cocky, and Cher slapped him on the ass. I like this.
The Deja Brew has too much caffeine and I feel my heart beating (I don't like reminders that I have a heart), so I'm gonna be a sober seahorse for the second episode. I'm already regretting this.
Moving into Cher's tiny apartment with this small tub thing instead of Gun's apartment with that huge ass tub was a dumb decision.
Every part of me hopes Gun acts just as amusing as Cher in the office.
Deadass, if I worked in this office with a boss whose boyfriend was this entertaining, I would be thriving. I would never have to drink another drop of water because these antics would keep me hydrated.
Jack has no fucks to give about this role-play situation unfolding during his billable hours.
Did this man have confetti in his pocket for this exact moment?! I'm telling you that I'd be living my best life in this office!
If I was that security guard, I would NOT have paid that 80 baht for Gun. Boss man does not need my hourly wage.
You'd be a custard apple or a pomegranate cause you're being extra! <-I'm using this because I love good commentary about *fruits*
I can't keep writing this, but I genuinely like this! Cher slamming his hand on the table and Gun immediately babying him. Urgh! I'm pleased!
This is giving me What's Wrong with Secretary Kim vibes.
Something keeps happening with the lighting to make the guys seem angelic, and I want to know what pressure the lighting department was under to make this work under these conditions.
I have been a vegetarian for over two decades, yet my meat-eating friends are the picky eaters, so I pop off like Gun just did every time I have to order them food. Why is the order so complicated?! Why three different places?!
Gun having printer and copier issues is the office drama I crave.
"That last sentence was lit." - GMMTV's translators deserve a raise.
Oh my gosh! WHERE IS PORSCHE?!
Aoi gets where I'm coming from. She is not going to let her boss and his boyfriend ruin her happiness. In fact, she embraces the chaos.
Cher is playing with Gun's face, and I'm going to fully admit that I liked this entire installment. They even exchanged colors!
The game idea is actually kinda okay-ish.
This role-playing unlocked a kink in Gun because now he wants to receive and give regularly-scheduled commands. Okay, sir, I see you.
Cher's shirt reads "Error Since Birth" and I LOVE IT!
I'm shocked and appalled about what I'm about to do. I thought I was going to be upset watching this, but I really enjoyed it. The color-coding (that I hated during the show) was consistent here unlike the other previous installments (Vice Versa, The Eclipse, and My School President), the repartee between Cher and Gun never missed, and their chemistry was good as usual. There was no Porsche, we didn't find out about Jack's previous relationship, and I'm pissed we didn't get THIS during the actual series, so . . .
8/10 CockTails for giving me most of what I wanted long after I wanted it.
Now, BRING ME MY SLUTS!
And before anyone asks, I'm in a long-term committed relationship with Pat's hair. That's how much I love it.
#Our Skyy 2#Gun x Cher#episodes 11 & 12#a boss and a babe#Cocktails in the Skyy#bring me Pat's hair!

So, speaking as a really weird migraine sufferer who has non-typical migraines with an aura from hell which often crash into one another so I'm constantly in a state of aura, Looking at screens while I'm having this going on is impossible. It has nothing to do with the brightness, it has nothing to do with the color scheme or being in dark mode--although some of these things help a little and some of them don't. It has everything to do with the fact that my brain is misfiring.
And when my brain is misfiring any kind of motion or looking at stuff that is variable causes issues. And the light does not help. And every screen is lit.
And we need to go back to the fact that every screen has some type of motion. Whether it be a blinking cursor, a moving mouse, scrolling text, moving gifs, what have you. Even talk to text functions on most phones have a little microphone that has a pulsing blinker to indicate that it's working. They may seem like little things but when my brain is misfiring and it is at its worst, I can't handle that. I can't handle leaves blowing in the breeze. Or the motion of fan blades. The only thing I can do is lie down and close my eyes and wait for the worst to pass.
Additionally every single screen has a flicker and I don't care what screen it is. The flicker is not registering to the conscious brain but it is present and it is being filtered through our eyes and optical nerves. One way to see this is to try to take a video of things and sometimes you'll see the flicker come through. So just because our conscious brain is not recognizing it doesn't mean that our subconscious or other parts of the brain is not aware of the motion. One example I can give is the self checkout scanners which do flicker visibly if you take a video of them. However to our conscious brain they look like they're a solid line.
So yeah, it does suck.
It took me three to four years to be able to tolerate looking at a computer screen again for any length of time. And even to this day I can't do certain things when I am having a full-on bad attack. Which means that my life as an author and editor be a little difficult sometimes. And audio processing disorder is a thing.
Migraines and their auras are debilitating. This isn't just a simple headache or a having tired eyes. This is a condition which can literally sometimes feel like you're having a stroke or are dying.
And Joy has comorbid conditions which all have competing access needs and are all screaming at her demanding to be her primary focus. It's going to take time for her to work out, in concert with her medical team, what works best for her. Because the other shitty thing about migraines is that they have to have very individualized plans. There is no one size fits all for how to deal with it.
And it's frustrating. Particularly for her.
And sometimes you just need to scream into the void about how much it sucks and not have the void scream back with "have you turned the brightness down".
Note: this was done with talk to text so there may be errors.
I’m going to need the people in my inbox asking me if I’ve tried turning down the brightness of my screen to take a moment and sit with why they felt the need to ask such a patronizing and obvious question to a disabled person.
I dunno. Maybe you’re used to people not helping themselves. Maybe you just truly want to help. Unfortunately that doesn’t make it any less annoying for me to be repeatedly asked have I done one of the most basic things a person with light sensitivity can do.
It’s not quite as on par with “you need to drink more water” but it’s up there.
Also to the “you need to drink more water” crowd— I have dysautonomia. That’s a failure of the autonomic nervous system. I drink a minimum of 3-4 liters of electrolyte water a day to keep from fainting. It’s not lack of water.
“Have you tried exercise?”

I need to vent, don't mind me.
I just want to discuss the three Hulk movies, so let's go :
Hulk (2003)
Aaaaah, Ang Lee's successful failure, as some may call it. It's not really a bad movie as much as the flaws it has are more noticeable, such as the color scheme used. For example, the military base.
Purple walls, yellow bars, grey bits of wall, flashing red, green and blue lights. I know it's not realistic for a military base, but the idea was to go for a "comic book like" approach, sooo..it looks cheesy and cartoonish. Bright colors are often used in comic books to make an important place more recognisable, such as military bases.
The way the screen splits is also reminiscent of comic books, like you would read a comic. The storyline itself is the closest to the first Hulk comic, which is why I prefer it. (Like with Sam Raimi's Spiderman movies, it is the closest to the comics)
CGI speaking, the Hulk itself is way too green but yet again, this was probably intended to go with the color scheme. The CGI is bad by today's means, but it was the shit back in the day. I think the Hulk is very well animated for a CGI character without any sensor-motion.
The gamma dogs, however, they look hideous. It's like someone tried to animate a dog and put a Joker's grin on it with some green eyes. Their movements are badly made, they just leap in the air, along with some CGI dirt.
Acting goes well, Eric Bana will forever be my favorite Bruce Banner. He really gives off the vibe of "shy guy has an inner monster" and I can easily metaphor it as a mental illness. (Yeah I'm the kind of person who tries to diagnose fictional character with defiencies or mental illnesses)
Jennifer Connelly is also a very good Betty Ross in this, I'm surprised they didn't bring her back. I love that her Betty isn't a crybaby or a typical damsel in distress. Sure, she's Banner's girlfriend, but she is a strong and capable woman and thus, I think she's very underrated.
Nick Nolte plays Banner's father very well. A deranged but brilliant man, he knows what he's done. I try to think of him as "a madman who knows that he is crazy".
Alright, moving on !!
The Incredible Hulk (2008)
The MCU's black sheep and second entry. In overall, it's a good movie, but also a bad one. It introduces us to the Hulk/Bruce Banner that we later see in The Avengers. Understanding this complex character without seeing the movie is really difficult, considering what information we get later on.
Color scheme this time, is dark. Gloomy, dark and somber, this movie could almost play itself as a horror movie such as "The Thing". Fight scenes are often displayed in the dark, where you can't see shit of what's going on. Even in broad daylight it looks dark !
CGI is well done, the Hulk kinda looks like it's actor. I personally think that the green they used is a weird somber blend, considering the bright green eyes that barely light up. Also, the shadows don't help. All you see is a big black mass with a small tint of forest green. Well animated, it fits perfectly in the CGI city (I mean, when he climbs on building like Spiderman, that's CGI) reminds me of the city in TMNT (2007)
The Abomination is an abomination indeed, it's facial movement are unrealistic. It's movements, everything ! Clearly the budget was all on the Hulk, either that or they wanted to give a tribute to the fucking gamma dogs from Ang Lee's movie.
I would see that in a videogame nowadays.
The storyline of this one is confusing and it's basically the only piece of information you can get from Mark Ruffalo's Bruce/Hulk. The ending itself, I'm still trying to figure it out. General Ross here doesn't seem to have no logic whatsoever, the Russian guy turned Abomination is useless.
Acting is good I guess.. Edward Norton is a very good Banner, but I dislike the vibe of "I'm a monster and everyone knows it" because no one seems to care about it. Norton was apparently really hard to work with, which is why they didn't bring him back.
Liv Tyler as Betty Ross is kinda dumb. Ang Lee's Betty was strong, while this one is a crybaby and always goes where she shouldn't. I've seen that trope a lot of time and I hate it. Liv Tyler is a very good actress as well, so seeing her as this really pissed me off.
Tim Roth as the Russian guy wasn't a bad casting as much as it just looked forced. I don't have much to say, except that he loses his accent some point in the movie and no one noticed that.
Moving on.
Mark Ruffalo's Hulk (2012-2019)
Starting in The Avengers, this Banner is the same as Norton's. They give little to no explanation of who he is and instead throw a reference to the alternative ending of The Incredible Hulk. The CGI used is very well made and the colors are well done, true MCU fashion.
It's everyone's favorite of course, and it has evolved in a way no other MCU character has. First, the Hulk smashes, then gets trapped on Sakaar as a gladiator, then Banner can't even turn into the Hulk anymore and then we get Professor Hulk : the ultimate mix of Banner and the Hulk.
Banner here is a typical nerd, but is clearly damaged by the Hulk, refusing to even say his name.
In the battle of New York, he changes into the Hulk saying : "That's my secret, Cap.. I'm always angry"
This could explain so much about the confusing ending of The Incredible Hulk, whereas he isn't scared but is in control.
Scenes that I love :
In Hulk, we are treated to a scene where everything is dark, I'm obviously talking about the scene where the gamma dogs attack. It's so fucking dark, you can't see shit ! But yet again, Hulk knows what to do and is not just SMASH ! He puts Betty in a safe place and fights the dogs, which are OP btw. He breaks one's jaw by flexing, bitch slapped another, this Hulk was strong as hell ! That is, if he doesn't get distracted by Betty.
In The Incredible Hulk, there's a scene where it rains like hell. Hulk had already protected Betty at this point and got her to a cliff, where she would be sheltered from the rain. Hulk clearly doesn't understand why they were all shooting at him and even gets mad at the rain. Betty here gets really fucking scared, but eventually calms him down.(At least the other Betty had the guts to touch the big guy)
I'm done.
In The Avengers, no Betty is seen, so he doesn't really seem to calm down. Black Widow's lullaby is a thing but again, it's forced. I'm done venting, criticising or whatever.
This was my opinion, over !
