I have a non-fandom OC in the Iriecester realm who is half-creature (I’ll tell y’all the species name) and half-Yonuthia. He has the head of an animal and fur, but he’s bidepal/humanoid. He has a tragic past and he’s ostracized for being a hybrid.

So I wanna know if y’all would like to hear about him.

The new OC is telling me that his people live in a fiery realm and have fire powers. So now I have to deal with a realm with no light (Iriecester) and this new realm that has no darkness.

And now I'm imaginig the new OC going over to Iriecester and Orinothicor going over to this new realm and both of them are just shocked by the lack/abundance of light and they do not like it where they are.

I suppose I can world build if I can torture some OCs along the way.

Orinothicor is actually an omega, not that any of his subjects will tell you that. They insist that he's an alpha. Because look at him.

Crathicor is an alpha.

So is Lerdadicor. (I just think it'd be funny if all of Orinothicor's children, dead or alive, were alphas when he ((the only parent)) is an omega.)

The Hexiltor is an alpha, because I guess that's just testament to how blessed he is by Neximor.

Marsaicor, I'm partial to him being either an alpha or an omega. He gives off either vibes.

Bredadith is an omega, no I cannot explain it.

Sashithia is an omega. He just gives omega vibes.

It gains respect. *Later, Orinothicor and Stone meeting for the first time* Stone: Hello, you can call me Stone. *extends his hand for a handshake* Orinothicor, internally very excited that he knows how to give a handshake: Hello, I'm Orinothicor, it's nice to meet you! *grips Stone's hand in a very strong grip to shake his hand, hears a loud crack following it* Stone, whose hand is now broken in several places: *tries to keep himself upright while also trying not to let out a scream of pain* Orinothicor: Oh no, I'm so sorry. I can fix it though! Orinothicor, still holding Stone's broke hand in his: *uses his shadow magic to heal Stone's hand, painstakingly healing each individual bone* Stone, after his hand is fixed and out of Orinothicor's grip: I'm never going to shake someone's hand ever again.

Curse: Can't change his humanoid form (he can still de-solidify into the Neximors, he just can't change his solid form to not have a jackal head, etc.)

Power Skill: Basic (though he does have one advanced magic ability: the ability to take others' Neximors. No one knows why he has just one advanced magic ability)

Gender: Male

Status: Alive

Build: Burly

Height: 8"

Fur: Black

Eyes: Black with white sclerae

Marks: Covered head to toe in scars from blades (but most are covered by his fur and only the ones on his snout are prominent)

Extra: He is one of two non-originals who are eight feet tall and his head is like Worunithias' heads (head of a jackal) and he has hands that are more paws than hands (with the exception of him having opposable thumbs). He has a humanoid form but he has fur instead of hair and a huge fluffy tail. He is one of the two people who aren't sensitive to light (hence why his sclerae is white instead of black like the rest of the Yonuthias).

All of these curses your ocs have feels like it would be in a sub reddit or a social media thread where it's like "Name me a super power but someone gives you a side affect!" And it's something like "you have the power to control water but everytime you touch water your chances of getting an STD increases by 10%"

Neximor and the Neximors were like "Anyone who has advanced powers has to have a terrible curse in order to balance the amount of god-level shit y'all can do."

Sashithia's curse is the only one which isn't absolutely terrible because he has basic powers. (Technically so does Marsaicor but they're also supposed to be the next Hexiltor so they have the Hexiltor's curse.)

I know some of my OCs would be like "Can we please have basic powers so we can have relatively easy curses to deal with?"

Thank you! I've had this world and these characters in my head since 2018 (I think) and they've just never left me.

Sashithia, Orinothicor, and Bredadith have a special place in my heart because they have the most trauma. Lerdadicor is a badass. Crathicor is the optimist to Orinothicor's pessimism. The Hexiltor is the voice of reason and Marsaicor is just trying his best to learn as much wisdom as he can.

Anyways, I think creating fantasy ocs and a fantasy world is very rewarding. But I'm also obsessed with creating OCs.

Fun Facts

I kinda did this with the COD OCs with what didn't make it into canon, so now I'm going to be doing this with the Iriecester OCs but these things are actually canon.

Orinothicor has had 16 children (including Crathicor and Lerdadicor), but due to his curse all of them, except Crathicor, Lerdadicor, and one possibly one other, are dead. (Yes, I'm straight up thinking of adding yet another OC to this roster, despite not even making the basic info posts for the band of thieves yet.)

Crathicor, despite having a less involved role in the governing of the realm compared to Lerdadicor, is older than Lerdadicor. The exact age difference is unclear. (Because what is sorting out how old they are when they've been alive for more years than a mortal can comprehend?)

Lerdadicor was married once, she is no longer married because her wife died protecting the realm. (RIP to her.)

The Hexiltor did create Marsaicor, but they're not considered family since he created them solely for the purpose of being his apprentice. That's not to say they don't have a strong, almost father-child, bond, they do. They just both don't consider each other family.

That being said, Marsaicor does have the -icor suffix because while they're not considered to be the Hexiltor's family, they were named the suffix as a sign of respect since they will one day be the next Hexiltor (hopefully).

Sashithia has never met his Worunithia father, Jarith, despite being born in Xrathia (where every non-humanoid Yonuthia lives). He also technically never met his Yonuthia mother, Kierithia either, since she died when he was a newborn.

Bredadith's cloudy white eyes aren't just because he's blind, but also because it's a reminder to everyone else that he's survived a dip in Grithior and that one day, Grithior will finish its job and drown him fully. Also a reminder that Grithior is the reason Bredadith has advanced powers.

When Bredadith was pulled out of Grithior by the Hexiltor, many other Yonuthias speculated he was Orinothicor's firstborn son (because Orinothicor himself is unsure if his firstborn son is still alive and walking the realm in Neximor form). However, that rumor was dispelled when Bredadith's blood was tested against Orinothicor's and there was no familiar match.

Orinothicor has only ever had children via creating them with the Neximors. Not a single child of his was created via normal reproduction.

Crathicor, while he is not tempted by Grithior, can smell the river's waters in Bredadith's veins. For that reason, Crathicor tries not to go down the hallways in Castle Rathia that Bredadith likes to frequent.

the other one is Boss because he's so disarming and soothing. he's the type to manipulate you into getting healthy and living your best life. he comes in with his old man energy and people can't help but crumble and long to be cared for by him. he's gentle but boy were his partners soft and melty after he was done

Orinothicor can technically step down as King of Iriecester, but he doesn't because he fears his curse of not being able to have a consort will transfer to whichever of his children takes the throne. So he stays on the throne, alone and longing for romantic love, just so Lerdadicor and Crathicor can marry and love without it being taken away by a curse.

Marks: Covered head to toe in scars from blades with very prominent claw marks going from his forehead all the way to his cheekbones

Extra: He is the only Yonuthia to survive almost drowning in Grithior. He is also the only Yonuthia to be blinded after birth. Grithior runs through his veins and is the reason why he has advanced powers instead of basic. The Hexiltor is the one who named him.

Extra: Yonuthias have long canines and claws instead of fingernails. They were created by the Hexiltor to be the next Hexiltor once the current one dies. It's why his curse is allegedly the same as the Hexiltor's, because no one truly knows what curse Marsaicor has until the Hexiltor dies. It's also why they only have basic powers instead of advanced, they will get advanced powers if/when the Hexiltor dies. (I say if because there's always a chance Marsaicor dies before the Hexiltor does.)

Plotting... and Being Reasoned with

Crathicor walked over to where Sashithia was standing guard in front of the gates which barred Castle Ranthia from the citizens of Iriecester.

His best friend was easily recognizable due to his sheer height and the way he looked so different from the other Yonuthias. Sashithia was a hybrid, half-Yonuthia and half-Worunithia. He had a head of a Worunithia, a fluffy tail, and fur.

All of this made him be called the "Monster of Iriecester", but Crathicor saw through all of the fear surrounding Sashithia. They had, after all, grown up together once Crathicor's father, King Orinothicor, learned of Sashithia's existence.

"Sashithia," Crathicor said with a bright smile on his face as he stopped in front of said hybrid. He had to tilt his head up slightly to lock eyes with his friend.

"Prince Crathicor," Sashithia murmured before moving to bow in the proper way; bent low to the waist with his hands (rather his looked more like paws) stretched out and criss-crossed one over the other in front of him.

Crathicor waved off his attempt at bowing. "Sash, you've known me too long to deal with formalities. Please, straighten," he replied, shifting on his feet slightly in discomfort at his best friend being so formal with him.

Sashithia nodded and straightened from his bowed position. If his animal head would allow him to, he surely would've been frowning.

"Crath, what can I do for you?" he asked, his black eyes scanning Crathicor's body for injuries as his black tail swished back and forth just a bit in nervousness. "You don't usually leave the castle without your guards."

"That's part of why I'm here," Crathicor answered, grinning mischievously. He leaned in to whisper. "I'm going to sneak off to the mortal realm."

"The mortal realm?"

Sashithia was so taken aback by this news, though he shouldn't have been.

Ever since Crathicor was young, he wanted to go to the mortal realm and socialize with the mortals. He didn't believe his father when his father told him the mortals were cruel and greedy. He thought his father was just exaggerating, because his people had spent so many centuries confined to this one realm.

Crathicor nodded, still grinning.

"I'm going to teleport away from this realm when Father is busy in a meeting with the Hexiltor and his other siblings and go to the mortal realm. I'm going to meet some mortals," he declared.

Sashithia shook his head. "Crath, not only is that dangerous, but you wouldn't be able to pull off sneaking away," he said.

"Why not?"

"You do remember that your father is one of the two Yonuthias who can see and hear with the Neximors, yes?"

Sashithia definitely had a droll look on his face. He crossed his arms in the way he always did when he was about to gently scold his best friend and prince.

"He'll be able to feel your Neximors leaving the realm and send that reformed band of thieves he loves to employ sometimes after you to take you home."

Crathicor opened his mouth to argue against Sashithia's logic, but it made sense to him. "I hate that you're right," he replied with a sigh.

Sashithia looked around at where the other guards were, making sure they were too far away to see Crathicor and him, before he placed his paw on Crathicor's shoulder.

"I know, Crath. I'm sorry I had to burst your bubble." He let his words sink in before continuing, "If it makes you feel better, my shift ends in a few hours. You can read me those mortal storybooks when I'm free, yeah?"

"You're the best, Sash!"

Crathicor's smile was bright again and he quickly hugged the hybrid, feeling the fur that was hidden beneath the clothes and feeling Sashithia's tail curl around him briefly. He then pulled away soon after, not wanting to distract his friend any more than he already had.

"Okay, I'll see you in a few hours. Meet me in the library!"

Sashithia watched as Crathicor then turned on his heels, the gates opening to let him back inside the castle walls. His tail wagged behind him as his canine ears twitched with the sound of Crathicor's happy humming reaching his ears.

Ah, he wouldn't change Crathicor one bit.
