hellooooooo everyone I kin Anti-Wanda and currently hoping to find an Anti-Cosmo and Irep out there :) Willing to talk to anyone else from FOP too.

I'm 19 but willing to talk to anyone of any age- EXCEPT Anti-Cosmo, who I'd prefer to also be an adult. It'd just be weird to talk to someone you have romantic memories of when they're a kid :/

(Though, note for any Ireps who are minors: I also kin Peri, while still being 19 (obviously). My Peri does NOT have any romantic memories of Irep, but if you have romantic memories of him while being under 18 I would, again, be uncomfortable with it. Sorry! If it's all platonic we're chill tho)

Peri across the world

Languages is a passion of mine, so I had to see how Periwinkle's name was translated (if it was) in the many languages available on Netflix.

Edit: I made a mistake for Czech Republic. His name is still Peri (and not Periho). I didn't take into account czech declensions.

So, many countries just... didn't translate the name. It stays Peri/Periwinkle. It's the case for all languages not using the latin alphabet, expect for ukrainian.

Other countries just gives his nickname. Peri then says that purple is his favorite color. In Danish and Norwegian, he just comments that he thinks Peri souds better than Poof.

Direct translation

Some countries translated directly the term "Periwinkle", but kept his nickname as Peri. It's the case for:

Vietnamese: Màu xanh dừa cạn

French: Pervenche

Special shout-out to Brazil, who translated the name literally AND changed his nickname (Pervinca/Pervi) ... despite how non-kid friendly(?) it might sound to non-portugues native speakers.

They just had fun

Croatian translators chose a name that doesn't seem to translate to anything literally.

Croatian: Peripurno (seems to be a play on the word purpurna (purple))

Finally, here five translations I think are really cool!

5. Parelmoer/Parel 🇳🇱

Parelmoer means nacre, or mother of pearl. It doesn't really fit Peri as is, but the translators had fun and it gives him a gentle edge I really like.

4. Inkonte-Belarraren/Inko (Basques 🏴)

Inkonte-Balarraren is the basque word for a plant called vinca major, or greater periwinkle. Makes it seem like Peri's fairy royalty or something.

3. Levendula/Levi 🇭🇺

Lavander translates to levendula in hungarian. I like that they kept the color theme, but made his name understandable to hungarian kids. Also, Levi's a great (nick)name.

2. Perillinen/Peri 🇫🇮

Perillinen means heir, like the next of kin. And woah! What a name to choose! I guess it should be read as Peri's an heir since he took over the family business, but I think there's a neat parallel here with Irep being some kind of heir in his own way.

неперевершений/перi (neperevéršenyj/peri) 🇺🇦

Ok, that one is INSANE. Not only перi (Peri) sounds close to перo, which mean feather, and it gives him a gentle edge. неперевершений translates to unsurpassed, unmatched. THIS fits his character so much! Looking all nice and sweet, but actually used to be some kind of golden child who isn't used to stuff (like his job) not going as planned. Ukrainian!Peri is so cool!

Honorary mention

Another special shout-out: Hebrew. Apparently Peri sounds like פרי, which means "fruit". Man can't escape the allegations....

Hello again Tumblr >:) I am once again putting out another loud and proud canoncall as an Anti-Wanda kin. I also kin Peri if you are curious.

Looking specifically for Anti-Cosmo now, who I would like to be a fellow adult (I am 19). I would love to talk to any Irep as well, though I already know one so I'm not actively searching :) However, if you are an Irep who is a minor and has romantic memories of Peri, please do not reach out. It would be weird for me.

Any other sourcemates who want to talk to me (for either A.W. or Peri, I don't mind) can be any age. And for the record, I don't mind whether you're a kin or a fictive (and I have multiple system friends already, if you're worried about me being ignorant.)

Slight Vent

I'm really feeling the whole, "Peri and Irep are opposites. But they're not opposites in the usual way. No, they're two sides of the same coin. Peri's side always lands face up, in the sun. And Irep's always lands in the mud." Tonight.

It's weird. It doesn't usually bother me, but even in reality it still applies.

I see how people talk about us. I don't mind the shipping (I myself enjoy it a little bit!) But a lot of the time they make it toxic... and they always make it toxic because of me. I'm not that kind of guy. Because of that, I really only interact with people I know are systems, kins, or close friends.

But I've also seen how Peri has been treated when interacting with people— he loves doing that! And I want to too. I know people aren't ready for me yet, really. And I'm okay with that. But they should be ready for him. He's a fan favorite. He's the cutest little guy ever. And it sucks.

On top of that, I can't seem to find any sourcemates I want to. I only know of two other mes (one fictive, one kin), two or three of my dad (though I can't get in contact with any of them), and one kin of my mom. But how many Peri's do I know and have talked to? Three! And I know of even more! I can't even count the Dev's I know of... Peri can find almost anyone he wants if he tries.

And yes, I do love Peri and I care about Dev but I want my dad. I miss him.

But I can't have that, because I'm Irep.
