adoptive siblings au 💭

this au plays around with the cosmetic they wear (the a tier skins) and a lot of (somewhat) widely accepted match ups with their skins? plus my little spin on things! nothing is canon here.

☆ ∬ nai.b and irene are adopted siblings, with the former being brought in ^^ i suppose that makes him a constantine! na.ib constantine ^^ they share a 5~ year age gap

☆ ∬ naib was a rough little boy back then, so he had a bit of a tough exterior growing up. he knew how to fight, maybe not as professional as his OG concept, but he's familiar. he's also very protective of his sister. his a-tier costume is "spring hand".

☆ ∬ irene's personality is almost the same as her OG concept, but rather than being an orphan, she's a genuine constantine. she was pretty much spoonfed by her parents and didn't go outside that much until nai.b became her brother, so she had a playmate to play outside with. she's still very naive however. she wears a different costume here. i have the inspiration but just didn't draw it yet

☆ ∬ nor.ton is a successful, professional gem appraiser (or someone that can determine the value and worth of a jewel). many people run to him for his professional opinion and his words usually pay very highly, as he is very skilled in his trade. he's quite proud, but arrogant. his side hobby is personally looking for the gems himself, which earned his nickname "mr. mole" and it's also the name of his a-tier costume that he wears here

it's also worth mentioning that his mr. mole skin description also reflects the fact that he knows a good gem when he sees it

☆ ∬ emma is a fellow friend of irene's. both of their fathers have a close bond especially towards their businesses, and this makes them collaborate very often. emma still keeps her friendly demeanor and love for flowers and gardening. irene and emma hang out together when both their fathers had meetings, and it's usually just inside their homes (whoever invited them over at least). emma has a little more freedom in going out so she tries to hook irene into gardening with her, which they both enjoy a lot. emma wears her a-tier costume "boudoir dream" in here.

☆ ∬ as for the general story, i imagine irene wears a very pretty family heirloom gem in her outfit that catches nort.on's attention and while he was supposedly after her gem, he starts to become interested in her (and it doesn't help that she's naive so there's a lot of room to just. fool around and sillay™ HEHEHE) which starts this silly little chase of him trying to talk to her and na.ib who's already super wary of this guy like SHOO SHOO OUTTA HERE NOW 🗣️🗣️🗣️

I swear, when I say mha has one of the best english voice actors in animes, I'm not exaggerating.

yesyes, atsumu girldad, yes good lovely things, love that for him. but what about this, his first child is his son, he was so good with his baby, he didn't think it'd be so easy being a father, until the boy is in his teens and he's blessed with daughters after. he's barely close with him anymore and isn't as focused to him like with his girls, but he tries and just sucks at it now, but he tries.

On a brainrot, please ignore and just pass by. Can't stop thinking about how Aki and Himeno fit so much to Pray for me by The Weeknd. It is really just boggling my mind that this song literally circles between them. I'm so normal about this.

Need I say more? Despite being kind as he is, as he can be, he still had murder and revenge on his mind—even when Kishibe believes that Aki can make his way to the gun devil because he's different from the rest, Himeno thought otherwise; to which can lead to his end as what Himeno fears when she became fond of him.

Then Himeno realized that and immediately tried to steer him the other way. She could have had quitted before but of course, she stayed because of him. She began to save him in her way, in what she can do because she know his ass will not listen!!

Her giving up of what she was asking of Aki then just staying to keep him alive.

Then comes this verse that suits to Himeno so well.

Who gon' pray for me?

Take my pain for me?

Save my soul for me?

'Cause I'm alone, you see

If I'm gon' die for you

If I'm gon' kill for you

Then I'll spill this blood for you.

In a way, I think the first verse fits to Himeno as well, living stagnant; just killing and whatever her job demands. Even when she was getting sick of it, she still didn't leave and continued as if to live another day. Then came Aki, changing that. He saved her from that. By being able to have a care for him, it abled her to look for that same care as well and maybe somehow she felt that from him. She found something to live for.

But of course, as much as she'd live for him, she'd also die for him to let him live. Laying down her life, without regrets knowing that he'd live and he'd cry for her, because that's one of the things she longed for.

Then came her death and Aki, finally realizing what was at stake, what he had then and what more he could have as time went on after her passing; Denji and Power.

Her death didn't just save him at that moment, it truly saved him.
