Long time no see

First part: What happened next? I really hope you do not mind the gap, since it has been a while since I wrote in this blog. Last time, it was around my trip to home, Iran, after three years being in Canada far from my family and beloved ones. It was a nice trip. When I arrived at the Tehran International Airport and I saw my dad, I felt the Heaven… I just wanted my life to be paused there, right there in my dad's arms, at least for a while… During my trip, I spent most of my times with my parents, my siblings and my friends. I traveled to North with my family. Just a very important side note: when we Iranians talk about North, we talk about the most beautiful part of the country where we go for fun, family time, romantic moments, me-time or anything that you can imagine… My family usually go to Ramsar. Ramsar is a beautiful city that used to be called the Bride of the Cities in Iran… If you travel to North of Iran, you will face these facts: we do have a sea, Caspian Sea, we have jungles, we have rain and yes, that is right: Iran is not all dry and deserts. Actually, Iran is not all desert at all and we do get snow in many cities in Iran. I stayed long enough to take a short trip to Bodrum with my best friends which was a great experience. Well, it was also my first time traveling outside Iran with my  friends and not family. Usually, Iranian dads, at least in my generation, were not happy if you wanted to travel outside of the country with your friends as a teenager. I think, as I took a further step and traveled to another continent to study, and of course as I have aged a little bit during those three years being far from home, my dad was fine this time to let me travel with my friends :-) 

Second Part: Bodrum

Usually, the trips to these little islands in Turkey is approximately one week. We stayed at Yasmin Bodrum Resort. It was 2014, so do not ask me about the price. I mean I would not be helpful anyways. You are welcome to ask me other questions though. Like, what kind of alcohol they would serve, or what kind of food or, OMG, ask me about the desserts and I would name them all for you, one by one. You can tell that I have a sweet tooth right here, can't you?

The highlight of my trip to Bodrum, apart from the open bar and open buffet, is the Boat Tour. The whole point was getting around on the boat and enjoying the sun. They stopped the boat there to four times giving you the option to dive into the ocean and swim. Did I dive in or not? No. I mean not until all of my friends started to call me: Chicken, of course out loud, in front of everyone and then I  did so only to prove that I am not a chicken - not that I care but you know...! Telling you the truth,I had fun… It was more than fun and I dove in more than once, I mean I dove in every single time that they stopped the boat after that!
