Arnav-Khushi’s Remarriage
(Navigate the Blog)
Remarriage Begins
Is anyway the remarriage convo could've come up on the show without the whole forced Suhaagrat thing?
Validity of the marriage
What the poolside kisses during roka meant and a short analysis of the remarriage 🙂
What is the big deal about Arnav coming to the temple during the remarriage ceremony? He did visit the temple many times ( including Teej), didn’t he?
Do you think asr’s apologies to khushi at the gupta house for everything was enough?
Date
Why did Arnav pay when Khushi took him out on a date?
What do you think of Arnav and Khushi's date during the remarriage track?
Mehendi/Post Mehendi
Why did Arnav ask the workers to stop the preparation of remarriage (after Shyam was back)?
Did Arnav really think Khushi came over to ‘break the wedding’ ritual?
Post mehendi tiff and poor NK (the exchange of hindi/urdu between ArShi)
Haldi
During the remarriage track Arnav woke up in the morning of Haldi and couldn’t find his ring. Remember how he got very anxious? And was relieved when Anjali found the ring for him. Do you think there is a in-depth meaning to this whole scene?
Thoughts on both families reaction when Shyam comes to Gupta house during Haldi ceremony
What happened after Haldi?
Consummation Sequence
Why Arnav was emotional when Khushi kissed his face during consummation?
Arnav’s thoughts after the farmhouse consummation sequence
Wedding
Opinion on Khushi’s wedding dress
Arshi contemplating if Arnav never showed up for the wedding
Possibility of Arnav not showing up at the wedding
How did the Raizadas (including Arnav) let go of the ‘past’ and what happened in the past?
Why Khushi wore sindoor and mangalsutra during final days of contract marriage and remarriage?
How Arshi's second marriage was presented to the outside guests since in the eyes of society they were already married right? Was it presented as more of a ‘renewal of vows’ event or an actual wedding?
(these are answers to previously sent asks)

Hello pati sari! I hope you’re okay, I often find myself coming to read your blog because I just love your opinions on everything and I mostly agree with u. I recently started watching IPKKND again after 10 long years and while it’s sooo good, I cant help but think about one thing. I wish Arnavs daadi was there to see Shyam getting exposed! I feel like it would’ve been a good end to the track if she apologised to khushi for treating her like crap. What do you think? Thanks :))) xx
Hello!!
I'm so glad you're enjoying the blog! Thanks for the compliment!
I don't really care about Dadi. It’s hard for me to explain but I’m not – and have never been – invested in what Dadi does. I have opinions on her character but very few on the track. I have mad respect for the way Dadi came out fighting for Arnav. After more than a decade in the ashram, she arrived in Shantivan immediately after finding out that he and Anjali were in trouble. I like that. But she didn’t really add anything to the story – it was always heading towards the remarriage and she was simply the vehicle.
To me, Khushi is innocent, and what’s important is that the people she loves and cares about know it. I don’t have an opinion on whether Dadi ‘deserved’ an explanation or feel any satisfaction (or lack thereof) with the way the track was handled.
Yours is a popular opinion, rooting in a sense of injustice on Khushi’s behalf. She was wronged by Dadi, and the audience wants to 'fix' it. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with this but it’s just not the way I interpret the show. I don’t feel that injustice and I’ve never identified with the ~bechari Khushi~ vibe of popular fandom opinions.
Thanks for asking!

Lol they completely spun us with the whole shivika ki shaadi promo, 3 weddings my ass. Shivika aren't getting married in august lol
Lol that YRKKH couple isn’t getting married in August either, acc. to some article I saw. Toh bache bas IPKKND ke Advay Chandni.
In a way, I’m hella relieved. I didn’t want it to be like this anyway, what with all the rasams and clothes being so damn terrible in this track. Plus Shivika are nowhere near the headspace they need to be to get married, and I don’t think they WILL be for a while, till this NKK track is wrapped up. In all ways, I’m glad this awful track is over and we’re moving on without unnecessarily ghusaoing an awaii ki shaadi. Let them move on to remarriage when it really FEELS right, instead of because the other shows had wedding tracks too and Star Plus needed to market this Band Baaja Badhaiyaan nonsense.

Hiya JWB! Your thoughts on the scene when Arnav takes khushi to his mums. i HATE that they used such obvious body doubles & only watched it i think two seperate times, whenever it comes on i skip or stop it. I dont even remember what was said in it as all i can see is the body doubles, and that hand rubbing khushis cheek to clean the drawing just before they go? Cant remember when but it properly annoys me haha. Love ur replies and analysis keep it up for us still loving Arshi. Biggest thankyou!
Hey Anon!
Oh I so wish they had the script supervisor just note which car they used to create some semblance of continuity! I totally understand why they’d use body doubles but then considering how prominent Sanaya and Barun’s hands are, why they’d go for hand close ups and just why they chose completely different cars… sigh
To be honest when you’re shooting rapidly and daily these important things can be really missed out on! I’m sure on the editing table they realized that damn the nail work just doesn’t match (they tried to crop it!) and the cars don’t match either but probably what’s most important is to get the episodes out in line at the proper time!
You can see below they super cropped in but couldn’t do a anything much cause it was evident how different the hands were!
However all said and done it is a BEAUTIFUL scene, one of the best ones post elopement and is absolutely worth the watch! It adds the emotional gravity we were so waiting for!
It’s a shame there wasn’t a common schedules for the actors that day and that very obvious discrepancies were visible (I can bet that even the directors and editors went “ah shit”) but perhaps it’s one of the few times I can watch over an obvious error.
Also at that point ipk was seriously breaking down in terms of budget - I think a lot of the production stuff was probably being funnelled to other shows? - because you could start to see the set wear down, makeup go off, cinematography slightly cheapen and all.
The scenes also are suddenly too brightly lit. You see the way they managed outdoor Nainital versus the garden and you’d understand there was just a higher quality of equipments employed previously.
(You can see the difference in colouring lighting costume and makeup - massive yet subtle differences)
It’s a good scene though - just hear it out - it ties up the conversation Arnav had with Khushi about parents becoming stars and the whole Anjali Arnav bangle conversation.
Sigh, if they’d only top that scene with Arnav actually giving her his mum’s bangles it would’ve totally closed the loop! But hey very few shows give things in retrospect at this point (where the writers were changed or new writers stepped in).
Small things though could’ve made the scene easier:
- give Sanaya a glitter mehendi or a real mehendi with sketch pen to the body double
- give the body double short red nails instead
- have Arnav wipe Khushi’s face with a handkerchief so in a closeup we have the thumb wrapped in a hanky
- choose the same car for the actors to blend the scene
- have the master shot instead of close ups where they touch each other’s face so we can see the full moment between the actors (the pic below is a master - which is usually a wider shot with both the leads in)
- shoot the hands from the other side so we don’t see the nails but just the hands together
But also there were moments where they got the lighting and body double position really right where you can easily believe it’s arshi! And that is tough considering you need to command eye line, where they’re looking, outdoor lighting and all to look cohesive!
So, I hope you give this scene a chance regardless! Cause tv is tough to perfect, especially under pressure, and sometimes when the writing is brilliant you can forgive other things 😊 I’d always take good writing above two actors in the same frame doing shitty scenes (for example the swami track eww)
On a funny note, the hut scene did give us the worst of both worlds 😂
Best,
- JWB

Hi JWB! Love ur whole blog literally on it all the time since i discovered u! Wanted ur comments on 2 things which im sure u have covered already. 1, during the remarriage haldi track when khushi teases arnav about not loving her and realises shes upset him, and straight away apologises and they carry on, i really liked that and .2 considering the amount of sexual attraction these 2 always had im so so glad writers never ruined the moment thru abuse(ignoring forced suhagrat) and we got farmhouse
Hello there!
Haha thank you so much for your love <3 Now coming to your ask I'm not sure what to comment on because you've mostly shared your views on particular scenes.
Regarding #1, yes I think it's sweet they established that Khushi understands certain triggers for Arnav and she apologizes, and that even Arnav understands to calm down and move on.
Regarding #2, yes that is one of the BEST thing to ever happen in the show! They never overlapped sexual tension with abuse. I think that is extremely critical. Also, when Arnav was initially hurt/upset at the situation - he chose to build multiple walls between him and Khushi and physically distancing himself from her was the pain. They could've easily gone that way (eeks Ishqbaaz!) but they didn't! We understand there's a glimmer of the sexual tension between charged moments, but really thankful for the fact that it's never when harsh words are being exchanged.
The farmhouse is hands down one of my fav scenes in the show!
Much love,
JWB

Hello JWB!
I Went through your analysis and threads about ipkknd and it felt i watched a show with another perspective. Your Analysis is so beautiful that it makes me want to rethink about everything i watched. So here's a question i wanna ask, what made you watch and then get attached to it that you were able to write such beautiful analysis? Very few shows can ACTUALLY connect with people with depth that wants us to write detailed analysis. What was your attachment to this crazy ride of 300 plus episodes?
Hello there!
Thank you so much and I am so so humbled that you feel my interpretations give you a new way to watch IPK - I'm excited!
IPK executed many tropes to perfection. And their characters had solid motivations that didn't fizzle after a few episodes.
Anjali always played a prominent part in Arnav's life. We see that. Arnav had a valid reason to dislike Khushi (thankfully it was NEVER gender based - which most of the shows are. At no point of the show is any of the rage Arnav throws to Khushi stems from her being a woman. And we know that because Arnav views Khushi similar to Mool Rajani and his uncle. It all comes from the first impression he had and we all know how horrid it was.)
The audience understood why Arnav would have such a harsh opinion of Khushi and not believe in coincidences because Shyam on the other hand is doing everything Arnav thinks Khushi is doing! If only Khushi had Arnav's cynicism then Shyam would've never wormed his way into the Guptas and if Arnav had Khushi's optimism he would've accepted his love much earlier.
Also a lot of this show is written like a novel instead of 'tracks' in a trp. It went track to track post Shyam revelation. Oh here's a birthday track. Here's adopted child track. Here's a Mrs India track. Tracks often have little relevance to consistently developing a character.
But until the elopement you saw LITERAL changes in character as they lived lives. They met, had an argument, she ends up working at his place - twice, their sexual attraction is revealed at the worst moment, once he learns how deeply prejudiced he was upon learning his misunderstanding of the sheesh mahal moment he starts changing as a person, she grows more uneasy around her fiancé, omg her fiancé is the hero's very married sister's husband!, he breaks up to be a better human being for once, she keeps quiet because she fears the result of the truth and he has painted her worse for much less, slowly without any barriers they find themselves drawn to love and the fact he never apologized (hence wholly accepted his mistake of understanding khushi) to her and that she hid the truth has its results - their hearts are broken the night they're about to be together.
So you can see, it's a literal story until the night they elope - every plot line brings a cohesive change in the characters. They grow, learn, adapt, change.
Which tragically stops after the elopement. I honestly see some growth from the kidnapping track. Then during the remarriage - the charm never equals to the previous episodes but it's good enough. There's no actual villain in this show apart from Shyam. And he wasn't doing the same thing a million times.
We also saw the villain rise with the plot. He goes from hiding, to lying, to remaining dubious, to having other intentions, to threats, murder, infidelity, bigamy, manipulation, kidnapping, harassment - you would never know his plans on day one.
So this is the reason why I find IPK to be perfect to analyze because there's so much in this show. So less exposition, so much more for the audience to understand.
And they understood opposites attract. In a good way. Arnav never became religious to fit in Khushi's life and she didn't have a random modern makeover to fit in his. Also, the passion between the two stays post confession and post sex! That's difficult to achieve.
Of course the show goes downhill but because it ended so quickly after it went down the slope that it's easy to ignore those episodes!
Hope you liked the lengthy answer!
Love,
JWB
Also, Arnav was the perfect anti-hero ever made. There's not been a single character written better in grays after him in the history of Hindi tv. Aryan nearly started off in the right track but they dragged him so much down the hill that... ugh... the potential Advay had is heartbreaking but they lost the character even before they started.
Other characters have had stellar scenes but in an overall consistency point of view, Arnav always remains as the perfect anti hero. He's flawed and no one is asking you to believe in his 'heart of gold'.
#ipkknd#ask#anon#why I love this show#it's a lot good done#the sheer consistency in arnav#and the nailing of the anti hero trope

Post Remarriage Days & Ending
(Navigate the Blog)
My take on Arshi’s post remarriage life
ArShi boxed as stereotypical nagging wife-tired husband post remarriage
The green and white diamond ring Khushi is seen wearing post remarriage? is this something Arnav gifted her?
Early Days & Shyam’s Revelation
When arnav walks towards khushi to get phone but she thinks he’s coming to flirt etc. How did u find that scene?
What do you think about the episode where the raizada family went to watch movie?
Arnav's Birthday
Arnav’s birthday measurements
Why does Arnav not like to celebrate his birthday?
Thoughts on the whole Arnav's birthday track
Sheetal Track
The Sheetal Track
What is Arnav thinking when Khushi is attempting hypnosis?
What was the Sheetal track supposed to convey?
Did Khushi really feel insecure and inferior in Sheetal track? How could’ve ArShi dealt with it and in canon how would’ve Khushi been after the show?
In the letter Arnav wrote for Khushi, was he referring to all the Rabba ve moments the viewers got? Do you think there were moments for Arnav where he really felt that no one exists in the world except for him and Khushi?
Do you think Arnav suddenly bringing up the “we should start the family” during the sheetal track was influenced by his closeness with Arav. At that point, did Arnav want a kid with khushi or a kid like Arav?
Thoughts about the Karvachauth sequence - Arnav’s constant teases and Khushi’s constant bickering
Opinion about the Karvachauth episode
Do you think Arnav felt anything, even a tad bit for Sheetal after she appeared again?
Mrs. India Track
Why was Arnav irked being called ‘joru ka ghulam’ and what was he expecting when he came back to meet Khushi at home?
Arnav tearing up on Khushi’s success at Mrs India
Breaking down Arnav and Khushi post marriage - Mrs India, movie scene, etc
Why did people laugh at Khushi wearing the navy blue gown during Mrs. India?
Ending
My thoughts on IPK’s ending
What would have been perfect ending of the show?
Arnav was supposed to die
Why do you think Ipkknd actually shut down instead of just going about without Arnav on the show?

Hi jalebi! I’m extremely new to your blog but I’ve read up to the remarriage in like 5 days, so you can already guess that I’m an intense fangirl of IPKKND.
Anyway, sorry if I’m wrong but I’m kinda stuck on the remarriage because the link for “During the remarriage track Arnav woke up in the morning of Haldi and couldn’t find his ring. Remember how he got very anxious? And was relieved when Anjali found the ring for him. Do you think there was an in depth meaning to this whole scene?” Isnt working, like it takes you to Iss Edits Ko Kya Naam Doon, which I’m glad I found, (coz its just another way to talk more about IPKKND!) but I still want to know your thinking about that scene.
Love your work Jalebi Ji!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
- Also i have a request, could you call me heart anon! Thanks!
OMG HELLO HEART ANON,
I am screaming because I literally spent 45 minutes searching where that one post is! Fortunately, I found it. It's here
Phew, hope you have a lovely time reading this and thank you love for exactly mentioning the post and letting me know what's not working! Maybe I should call you navigation anon, lol.

Hi Dear Jalebi, I demand your analysis :) What are your thoughts on IPKKND might have some typical track if the audience, TRP, actors departure didn't influence it otherwise? Let me explain, IPKKND was supposed to have a longer office track (that wasn't common though, I would've loved it) but the TRP was low, so Shantivan track was introduced. Then, I read that, Sana Maqbul (Lavanya) wanted to quit IPKKND, that's why the quick breakup???
Is that why they didn't give us the COMMON AF *jealousy and hero's ex GF turns villain* track? Then again, Anjali was jealous and sad about Khushi after the first reveal of Shyam, and it looked like track about Didi Ki Saut was beginning. But again ratings dropped and the fandom didn't react well (kinda protested), Anjali quickly stopped showing jealousy and Dadi was introduced to give ArShi a common saas-bahu vibe.
Hello Dear Analysis Anon!
I am going to over answer this with a lot of detail because I have a lot of thoughts, as always! Time to get into my thinking cape/coat:
This analysis is going to cover:
(1) every example you just mentioned,
(2) my thoughts on external things affecting plot of the story,
(3) things/plots/ tracks that could've been if not for external factors
Examples
1) IPKKND was supposed to have a longer office track (that wasn't common though, I would've loved it) but the TRP was low, so Shantivan track was introduced
As far as I can remember from one of the writers' interviews, the office track was cut short because this was a show on Star Plus - which, as a channel, caters to 'family audience' therefore needs to have sanskaar and stuff at its core. Hence the rude shortening of the office track and weird 'makeover' and 'desi-dying' Lavanya. And hence we had a very weird four months of an eighteen-twenty years old Khushi teaching someone about sanskaars and suddenly knowing everything about a household when Bua-ji or even Payal would've been a more apt choice for this 'tutoring'.
If this was a Star One show, they might've not shifted out of the office for the longest time!
2) Sana Maqbul (Lavanya) wanted to quit IPKKND, that's why the quick breakup??? Is that why they didn't give us the COMMON AF *jealousy and hero's ex GF turns villain* track?
I did not know that's why the quick end happened. Honestly that happened perfectly. I think Lavanya had an inkling about their relationship heading south right when Arnav told everyone he's getting engaged to her. But she chooses to not see it until one day she couldn't. Maybe we could've gotten more from La but if you see carefully, La clearly knows that this relationship is now just for face. Bless her heart for trying though, trying with a smile!
Also, again I think the writers never thought of making Lavanya a vamp. They had enough material with Arnav-Khushi's own differences, Shyam and Buaji playing enough roles to mess up Arnav-Khushi's love story. I probably think they always had planned Lavanya as a beautiful person who was unintentionally caught in all of this. I feel they planned La and Khushi's friendship - they clearly enjoyed writing two completely different people becoming closest of friends.
The writers/creators deserve full credit for this.
3) Then again, Anjali was jealous and sad about Khushi after the first reveal of Shyam, and it looked like track about Didi Ki Saut was beginning. But again ratings dropped and the fandom didn't react well (kinda protested), Anjali quickly stopped showing jealousy and Dadi was introduced to give ArShi a common saas-bahu vibe.
This is all true.
My Thoughts on External Things Affecting Plot
It's not necessarily bad that external things affect plot. Feedback, from channel or fans, can help the show to pivot and understand what is working and what's not. The problem is when feedback is implemented regardless whether or not it matches the theme of the plot.
I loved:
1) The channel moving out of the office because the power dynamic was too great and the contract terms were very unhealthy and Arnav Singh Raizada deserved to get sued at least 10 times by the end of this contract so yes, the shorter the office track the better. Literally the saving grace is they didn't "fall in love" there.
2) The fans protesting against Didi Ki Saut track. Not because I hated the track - I think it was executed in the worst manner! From identical visual languages to show Arnav-Anjali and Arnav-Khushi scenes (which didn't work to show Arnav being equally torn between the two most important women in his life, but just made the audience get creeped by Arnav-Anjali's relationship) and writing scenes of Anjali getting offended by Arnav-Khushi's intimacy/Arnav spending time with his wife, on her birthday, in his bedroom... did she expect Khushi would just *disappear* in a her and Arnav's bedroom? Like that was the worst way to show a compelling plot line and giving people some weird thoughts about Anjali-Arnav (which I hate because I LOVE Anjali-Arnav).
3) Barun walking out when the plot was literally done. Yes, thank you!
4) Barun going to do a movie led to the kidnapping track, which I liked a lot. No, not the nonsense of Manorama Bond fishing out Delhi's security camera footages in vintage recording system - but the fact that given the chasm and angst between Arnav & Khushi, only something bigger than their misunderstanding could force Arnav to give weight to his feelings and for Khushi to be able to forgive him. And his life was at stake. It was a sharp reminder to both of them that they lost so much by not communicating that it doesn't matter what they had to say - they loved each other, they just needed to get back and fight off everything together.
And then again, there are things I HATED that happened because of external factors:
1) The channel for the whole La becomes Desi. And the overdose of sanskaar and tradition that followed for a few months *uggggh* Clearly the channel demanded this from the plot because family, traditions and all are important to Star Plus (wtf are they thinking for Ghum Hai Kisi Ke? though or YRKKH?) And even the Aarav track and Mrs. India - two tracks with terrible execution - were very Star Plus recommended content. Just now Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2 had a Mrs. Surat/Gujarat track and Yeh Hai Chaahatein had a miracle child popping up...
2) The fans demanding Arnav & Khushi's proximity. The whole hut scene was *noooooo*. Lack of consent, body doubles, GLARING logical loopholes and them just trying to do it when one of them is really not in the mood and they were both so out of character. @phati-sari explains this really well in her post (just search for the hut to get all relevant posts on her blog)
3) Barun? Not exactly - he's never in control of the plot so really it's the writers that kinda know what to do with his presence and absence. Even if they get a short time, it's upto the creators who know if they use the last 2-3 weeks for stretching a random track as much as they can and give a rushed ending or quickly wrap up a crap track and give a satisfactory ending. A good example of this is Lavanya's exit - although rushed was dealt with grace, important conversations and memorable hugs. Bad one is the end of the show - I know Barun gave his papers but I wish they went the La way with the end of the show - important convos, teary hugs and a sweet moment (they tried their best tho...)
It's an ITV trend though to not plan for the end of a show... they stretch a crappy track as much as they can and have like a 2 min epilogue. Kasautii 2.0 was the funniest cause they had all misconceptions cleared, Komolika and Mr. Bajaj die and then have a weird 2 min pillow fight to show 'happy family'... guess in that way I'm glad we had whatever we did with IPKKND!
Possible Tracks Then
So if external factors didn't influence the show, we might have had the following:
1) A longer office track. It would end the way it did in canon though. I think it was prewritten that at one point Khushi would tear up the contract and hold him accountable for everything Arnav did. Just instead of 3-4 days it would've been 10-15 days after the contract.
2) Didi Ki Saut track. Honestly that was compelling if executed right. Sometimes you can have an antagonist without becoming a villain, Anjali the perfect character for that.
3) A separation track. I'm pretty sure Arnav-Khushi could have separated at some point in their six months marriage - this is just my inkling and not something I heard in an interview unlike the above two. If given full reign to writing, we probably would've gotten an angst heavy stuff at some point post marriage/6 months.
4) A remarriage track sans Dadi. We know why Dadi was introduced (honestly I didn't mind her, it was a track done well and kinda to redeem Arnav in front of the public eyes. It's a perfect track cause Arnav is 'nice' for standing up for her and kinda heals the wounds he caused in the first few months of the marriage by retorting someone who tells Khushi everything he told her...) But anyway I do think a remarriage was in the works, not because of TRPs but the way their whole 'marriage' was framed and how Khushi was broken because of the lack of everything in it. And they deserved one w/o the devastation that night brought.
5) The 'marriage' would've been a live in. Arnav and Khushi's elopement was supposed to be darker in nature*. Their 'marriage' would've had no religious nor legal validity, therefore a stark contradiction to everything Khushi stood for... but you can't have that in ITV. *By dark I don't mean sexual violence - never.*
6) The whole IPKKND was meant to be darker. I am glad for the romantic comedy though! I think their balance of angst and comedy pre marriage was perfect! Not sure post marriage because it felt like a loop of going back to square one with no progress. But I think things were meant to be less subtle, more tragic and dramatized. So I think we could've gotten extremely angsty periods post marriage with a slow, gentle lull to the romance/comedy. While I am extremely glad for the lightheartedness, I wish I could've read what the whole original concept for Arnav/Khushi was!
7) Arnav revealing the truth to Khushi would've been different. We know the distasteful suicide track quickly came as a way to push Arnav's buttons and have him confess the truth of his elopement to Khushi. And that came from Barun going away - hence the quick kidnapping track and everything. So if Barun didn't go away, I honestly don't know how the revelation would happen. Would Arnav start piecing things together from information and things about Shyam in Laxminagar? Would Arnav end up helping and hospitalizing Shashi who would tell him the truth? Would Arnav come across any hidden wedding card Buaji could've had printed for Shyam-Khushi or even Shyam's fake kundili? Given the Gupta house wasn't the place where Shyam covered his tracks... was this where Arnav would start seeing things? Or guilt ridden, would Garima/Khushi/Madhumati tell Arnav the truth? Something was meant to happen for this revelation, whether it's Arnav believing Khushi or just getting further evidence against her - I... don't know! I wish I knew what the writers had in store.
We highly appreciate for not showing a typical Nanand against Bhaabi trope, also for not making La villain, but would it result differently if things didn't have a hand? Imma cry thinking Anjali jealous and La villain! meh! What a feast for the eyes it was to see ONLY ONE VILLAIN and less negativity in a tellywood show. Baas bohut hua my casual verbiage. By demand I mean no pressure, please take your valuable time and reply whenever you feel like it.Take Loads of Care and Chocolates your way <3
I hope the above answered all your queries :) Thank you for all the chocolates and care!!!
Phew this was rather long! A big hug to anyone who went through it! See ya later!

Hello JWB!! Belated happy birthday! I love the way you explain so nicely. This blog of yours is my happy place! Earlier I used to love only IPKKND, now there are two things: IPKKND and your blog! My question is during the remarriage track we could finally see the love dovey side of Arnav and glimpse of how mcuh romantic of a husband he would be later on! But to my disappointment, after the remarriage they didn’t show him like that much. Felt like the desire they had for each other, the way they used to burn for each other that started to fade away. What’s your take on their post-remarriage life? Stay well!
Hello Anon!!!!
Thank you so much for your wishes! Aiiii so many praises and I'll faint like our dearest Khushi. So thank you again for your love <3
Feelings will change over time. Uncertainty, denial, angst, passion, lust - these are very attractive emotions so a part of us is dying to see these two smush on screen.
There's so much of foreplay with the whole eye sex thing going on for most of show pre consummation that definitely post marriage things might seem a bit... bleh. And honestly that's what happens in most TV shows!
However in IPK I feel three things happened:
1) Immediately focused on tracks which focused on differences between Arnav and Khushi is the worst way possible. Like the had great ideas but terrible execution like the Sheetal and Mrs. India track.
2) No need to show intensity, sex life, passion between the couple cause that no longer serviced the plot.
3) People don't write much and well about couples who are happily married.
So we honestly didn't have many scenes of them Rabba Ve-ing and then there were forced inserts which felt as they were put - forced.
However, as characters I definitely feel Arnav and Khushi had a really good life post marriage. In all aspects. I feel angst/denial was replaced with calm and familiarity. Passion came with love and there's just another level of wholesomeness with these two taking every opportunity to pull the other's leg.
We saw it on Karvachauth, or the famous Yoga scene or even the serious moment where Arnav talks of family planning - I feel this couple unraveled and learned more about the other over years.
Many things happened in reverse for Arnav and Khushi, lol, so I think friendship is something they started to explore - truly - post marriage.
Also Rewind Arnav has such 'my wife' vibes so we can safely say they're happy together and the passion has increased tenfold. Because it's love!
Also look at the gifs below - we had epic scenes if we skim through some of the other crap!
I hope I answered your ask!
- JWB
P.S: Also I think what's nice over time is time doesn't stop when Arnav picks Khushi up the way it did when it happened the first time. There's a beauty in newness. But I also think that unfortunately not much is written to properly describe the beauty of a relationship that's well settled, familiar and just... happy.
And you can find a lot of my thoughts on post marriage Arnav and Khushi in my Choti Si Duniya fics as well as in my OTP ask memes!

Hello dear Phatisari, how have you been? I have not been active in the ask box as I was super busy with work and also super busy after work re-watching IPKKND while in parallel reading your recaps (honestly a great stress buster, thank you!).
One of my favourite scenes of the show is the Mehendi lagake rakhna song track during remarriage. It's so romantic, I swoon every time I watch that track. But I have one question - Arnav, I thought, is not big on PDA. But on that day, he hugs her and kisses her (on cheek) in front of everyone. Why was he so touched? Would love to know your thoughts.
Thank you so much. And have a great rest of the week :)
Hiyya!
Awww, I'm glad you're enjoying the blog! Thanks for letting me know :)
He was (re-)marrying the love of his life, after over a year of turmoil which included a fairly messy break-up with his ex, the near-rejection of his brother because of his actions, a handful of false starts including the disaster that was Diwali, a colossal misunderstanding that brought up all his repressed trauma and sentenced them both to six months of hell, and an honest-to-God kidnapping.
Thanks for asking! Hope you're well.
