question! is enjolras trans in the comic?

Enjolras isn't trans (but he says trans rights and also fuck terfs)

There will be trans characters in the comic, one of the profiles should be out soon and the other won't be featuring until Part 2!

what's your favorite thing about the enjolras you have made

Idk if this is in regards to characterisation or design haha but my answer for characterisation is Enjolras comes across as cold and standoffish when you first meet him, but that's just kind of how he is- once you get to know him, you can see how deeply he cares about everything- his friends, his studies, the state of the world. He is very determined and that includes in the way he loves (I love this lil guy so much lol)

I mean have you seen him? He's GORGEOUS.

are characters outside les amis and the girls ™ going to appear? Like Valjean, Javert, Mabeuf…etc?

The answer is probably not! Never say never bc you never know what could happen as a plot develops, but right now I have no major plans for them to appear. Maybe there could be a very brief cameo from Valjean, we'll see!

Only character I can think of that will maybe appear more than once that is not an amis (or a canon character for that matter) is Bahorel's girlfriend! (sorry we don't have a design for her YET!!!!!!!!!)

What is Enj’s cat called (if that’s not a spoiler)?

Does R have any pets?

Enjolras' cat is called Robby (Well, technically it's Robespierre, but Courfeyrac was like “Enjolras, that is a terrible name for a cat. Also you are a giant nerd,” and started calling him Robby, which stuck)

Grantaire doesn't have any pets, but he's a dog person- That doesn't stop him from feeding the stray cat that hangs around outside the art building though.

I have a question! So I know the webcomic is focused on Enjoltaire (yay!) who else is shipped in this story? (Can’t wait to see it!)

so far, the only ships that will definitely appear are Enjolras/Grantaire and Joly/Bossuet/Musichetta. But the nitty gritty details of the plot are still being developed, so who knows what/who will crop up along the way!- Em

I am open to the possibilities! I think that as we develop the webcomic we could get some vibes off between other characters and we might develop other ships, which would be so fun!!!! -Leo

How long is the webcomic gonna be? (Individual updates and the whole thing)

For the individual updates we have the limitation of 10 images in a Tumblr post, so it will be 10 images per update, each of those images is a page, and each page has between 2 and 5 panels, depending on the size of them. Mostly this individual updates are gonna be a scene, or two or more shorter scenes!

As for the whole, right now we are thinking 30-40 individual updates, but that might change as we develop the plot better!

did you discuss the designs for R and Enjolras? For example the outfits they were going to wear, how tall are they, etc?

also, are there going to appear more Amis?

Leo is the artistic vision behind the project, so I was more than happy to go along with her character designs. If we want to change or edit them, we'll be discussing that in the editing stage before posting the profiles. And yes, all of les amis will appear! We'll be posting their profiles in the coming weeks :)- Em Ok so I have these ideas of how the amis look like so I went ahead and developed those, and then showed them to Em to do any revisions necessary. Em thought they were great so we moved forward with that! And as Em said, all the amis are going to appear, plus some extras, like Bahorel's girlfriend hahaha -Leo

there will definitely be Joly/Bossuet/Musichetta, and Marius/Cosette. Everything else...We'll just have to see what happens!
