Hello! This is my first piece for the Tomarry Big Bang 2019 ( @tomarrybigbang​ ) This is for the dreamy and mysterious fic,

Many years ago, Tom Riddle was sorted into Ravenclaw. This is what followed.

They call him the Wanderer, but no one remembers where he came from, if they ever knew at all. He haunts their dreams, and few have seen his face. He whispers sweet promises, offers them their hearts' deepest desires, and some listen too, too well.

But to Harry Potter, he has always meant something more. Protector, friend. Lifelong obsession. And so Harry's ready to set out to see the world, with his two best friends—dubious though they both are—in tow. His protector is trapped, he is sure, and Harry is going to save him, and maybe even the world while he's at it.

"Truth is a dangerous thing, and should be treated with care." Eldritch horrors are emerging into the real world that only Harry can see. He may not be prepared for what he finds.

Tom startles as Harry caresses his face with the back of a cold and wet hand. “You didn’t hear a word at all, didn’t you?” Tom shakes his head, a little exasperated but fond. Tom would deny it before, but his heart was thudding wildly in his chest and he knows Harry could hear it. Harry eventually holds Tom’s left hand and turns it a little bit from side to side. The gold band glints just as Harry’s scales glow even more out of joy. “Next time, I’ll read to you by the river.
