Spoilers for the early release video.

I think my favourite part of the new video is that Regulus feels positively ancient.

Does that make sense? Like that's an acting choice and an audio mixing choice, rather than a writing choice, but I approve.

I found some of Invisiboi's early stuff to have shades of Adam, so this is a welcome change. Erik's writing and acting really feel miles better at making characters distinct, particularly when it comes to the villains. I noticed that with the most recent Ivan release, too. That character has solidified, and while not dissimilar in initial concept to Regulus, they are two wildly different people.

Sadism's Hold-era Vega and this fucker absolutely feel like equal footing, competing predators now. I love that. Like not that they're necessarily going for the same sources, but that they are both sharks with territorial ranges. Vega's just also got plans and politics. He's transcended it. He's lofty. Hunger and interacting with the world has sharpened him. And my guy here is still base level focused. He has turned inward, to a truly frightening level, and now he's trying to drag his listener in.

I'm deeply curious about what made him like this. I can't decide if it's more impactful if it stays mysterious or not.

Like can we talk about his yearning hunger to hear the Listener tell him they're his? In the middle of rewriting the date? Like he is literally in every thought and cell of them, and yet still, he doubts. This is new. I think that's why the tone has changed, and the real daemon is coming out.

The lore, pt 2

Peppino: Come on in.

In the doorway was Onion, now older. Now, I cannot say for certain how much older, but he has certainly older nonetheless. He was more, transparent, with only a shirt, glasses, and onion shaped gloves to His name. The glasses now looking pizza like and stared with his pepperoni pupils. Before this moment, before...

He knew before this moment, Onion was just a simple stranger to the restaurant, who then started bonding with pep overtime. And before that. Those gloves.

Those gloves immediately fitted themselves on him, slowly, but in a minute, turned him into the invisiboy we know now. The bubbles, turned to marbles, falling on the floor, which ended with a Plunk. He now knew his role. His role was to protect the universal marbles, and as well as to not loose them. He had never once kept them at home, but always had a small bag to store them to keep safe.

There were two other things in the radical ruby ragged pouch. A note book, and a pen. The former was given to take notes, which he bought in a local store with a good price deal (69% off). The latter was actually a gift from peppino himself after he got himself a new one. Why not give someone you know and trust something you don't need and they want? One person's trash is another one's treasure after all.

Onion: I would like-

Peppino: The usual?

Onion: You were never wrong about it.

The usual was a small pizza with random toppings. Didn't matter what was on it, it just mattered that the pizza was a bit different every time. Onion liked that sort of variety.

And two things before we are done with the story so far, why were the marbles important anyway? And how does he get the money to afford said small pizza? First, the marbles actually have a universe inside of each of them, like a marble can contain a universe where everyone is a robot, or another a universe but with no peppino. It is specifically restricted to and universe that has pizza tower in ot though, so that's why there are a lot of other "guardians" protecting their things of the universe, like one carrying coins that hold mario universes. And second, Onion does work a full time shift of news writing, getting every single nook and cranny of adventure and mishaps. No worries, though he mostly gets payed 1000 dollars a week, once in a blue moon, the scoop might be a hit and earn lots of dough (we were talking about dollars in the millions). And that's that! It probably says something about me that I have no issue with the yanderes. I actually really like them.

Ivan? The OG, my memory is crap but I'm pretty sure he was the first playlist I listened through. (If not the 2nd because of Freelancer's.) I never got mad listening to him, I would have fallen right into the manipulations. As long as he let me have my cat and let me read/draw/play games while he's busy with work? Yeah. Kidnap me. (It probably didn't help that I hated my job at the time and the thought of someone just taking me away from it? Please)

Regulus was an absolute favorite when he was just 'invisiboi' and when we got more lore for him? I'm so happy to get updates from him and he has like...six? videos. Even when I wasn't really keeping up with the channel, whenever I saw a Regulus video, I'd be clicking on it. I can't wait for more lore on him.

I love Blake. The whole 'he doesn't care about the rest of the world, as long as the person he loves is safe' just itches that 'the villain would sacrifce the world for you' troupe for me. The shift when he's with Bestie is so soft and sweet, it's obvious how much he loves them. And then I hear how he talks to Sunshine and Elliott and I'm just 'sweetie....you can catch more flies with honey...if you'd been nicer you could have figured something else out by now'

(On the topic of Blake...I can't believe he didn't join Brachium's side. Like damn, Brachium was making so much sense. Blake, I love you but why are you not even considering his words? I wanna shake you)

And then we have the unnamed Yandere Caller. I'm probably weak for him just because his deeper voice makes me think of a yandere David but dang I'm really hoping he's not a one shot.
