Okay, it was not Danny's fault, he swears!

He was just experimenting with his ice, playing around with some of the younger yetis in the Far Frozen for fun. So shaping his ice to cover his hands to copy the paws of the others and seeing how well he could cut through solid hard frozen ice was just a game. The rough housing was to be expected, everyone tossing each other to see how far they could be thrown was fun.

Being picked up and tossed at the right exact moment a portal opened up was not fun or expected and he blamed Clockwork. The entity had to be responsible somehow for him not being able to enjoy a day of hanging out with Frostbite and the others.

Landing right in the middle of a what looked like a swat happening in an abandoned warehouse, armored people instantly aiming their rifles at him as he stood up wasn’t even surprising given his luck.

Fair though, he was currently looking more on the feral side to match his playmates then his normal ghost form.

“Hey, what’s with hostility? Can’t someone just pop in somewhere without-“, and he was shot in the shoulder, cutting his sentence off, “rude.”

It was just a regular bullet, so it was easy for his form to just…push it out and heal the hole up.

One of the men reached up to touch a device attached on his ear, “Unknown possible mutant has breached the facilities, age around 12-15, regeneration showed, animal like features-“

“You know it’s really rude to talk about someone like that to their face, no manners at all.”

“Unfortunately satirical.”

There was a crash from above as red and yellow forms busted through the glass, the guns swinging their aim at the two men landed.

“Sassiness is always welcomed!”, the red man had his own guns out and was already firing as he talked.

Danny had decided to dodge over to a pile of crates as all the attention was on the new intruders, eyes wide as an arc blood barely missed him as the one in yellow unsheathed long blades from his knuckles.

He glanced at his own hands, he couldn’t make a working gun from ice but…concentrating…he slowly watched as ice built up into copies, looking very much like it was growing from his skin.

An armored body was flung his way and he instinctual reacted…there were now two halves of a one man and he was covered in the viscera.

He froze…did he…oh…oh no…he had to go, he had to go now.

“Ope, looks like someone's first kill! Look at you Jack Frost,” the red guy with guns was now standing above him on a bigger crate, waving down at the teen, “awe, tiny puppy claws!”

Danny took a swing at the crate, watching as it collapsed and the man fell, laughing the entire time he went down.

He quickly turned to run, only to run into a wide chest where he promptly bounced off and landed ass first on the floor, “What in the-I have literally ran into steel walls softer then you.”

Claw man snorted as he reached down and picked Danny up by the scruff, “You alright kid?”

Said kid just hissed at him.

Claws was chuckling, “Cute, now put back your claws, I think it’s time for a chat.”

“Is it finally our turn for the found family and misunderstandings trope,” the red man was back and had swaggered up to the other two, an arm being thrown over his partners shoulders, “Hi, there and welcome, I’m Deadpool and this is Wolverine and we’re your new dads.”

“No.”

“No?”

Danny smiled, all sharp teeth, “No,” and promptly went invisible and intangible, escaping out of the warehouse while he could, leaving the other two behind.

He had to find a portal home.

Wade went limp, using Logan as a brace, “But I wanted to pull a ‘Batman’…”

The response was a snort and Wolverine sniffing his own hand, growling as he took the child’s scent in, “Don’t know what your talking about but, I can track him down, we probably need to before more of these fucks show up and get their hands on him.”

Yall don’t understand how obsessed I am with Danny messing with the Justice League. Like just pranking them mad wild. Or “haunting” them.

Maybe it starts as a mistake. Someone was getting close to him and he just vanished. Maybe he was walking around one of their cities cause he wanted to “see how a real hero does it” but tried to stay out of the way.

Hes following Superman and doesn’t realise hes been had. Superman keeps seeing this odd child on the edge of his vision. It’s only weird because of how quickly he is traveling. He should be followed like this. So he tests it out and flys off to somewhere far off, but secluded. Edge of some farm land would work. Trying to not give it away he doesn’t make a show of looking for the boy. He then spots him. His eyes slightly glowing as he stands in the edge of the woods. Clark focused on the boy and hears slight breaths but nothing else. Which he should have realised sooner was wrong.

He returned to the team to report this odd being following him. To also warn everyone else to be on look out just incase.

Weirdly enough it was the Flash who noticed him next. Even weirder was that he could never get close. Even with his speed which was alarming.

Cyborg started seeing the kid too. He tried using cameras to get a better look at him but nothing ever showed up. Always missing was the boy from the video. Sometimes the whole video would get distort.

Wonder Woman probably got the closest as she used a fight to get “thrown” in his direction. She got close enough to see worry about her. He seemed so concerned and like he was going to step in until he met her gaze. A whole new kind of fear crossed his features. Then he was gone.

Everyone of the main team (and even some not) reporting in of spotting the kid except for Batman. And he looked. He tried everything to see if he was being followed like the rest but nothing. He read their reports on their encounters and tried to emulate it but never saw the boy. Maybe it was all a big prank being pulled on him? He couldn’t rule it out. Still he kept up constant watch.

Then one night he was out and got into a fight. Distracted by looking for the kid he got messy. Or maybe the criminals got desperate but he didn’t notice the rocket launcher being targeted on him in time and it fired. Only then did he notice it. No time to fully get out of the way he braced for the worst. When all of a sudden a body slammed into him shoving him out of the way of the blast. They rolled onto the ground. Bruce quickly recovered and looked for his saviour. On the ground, blown slightly to his left by the explosion was a black haired teen in a white t-shirt. Before he could move the boy groaned and looked right at Bruce. The haunting blue eyes meeting his even with the mask in the way the boy knew just where to look. He was about to speak when the boys eyes went wide with fear and then nothing. The boy just vanished into this air. Bruce didn’t have much time to be stunned by this as the thugs before started to cheer, thinking they had finished off the Bat. So he went to make quick work of them before any could get away. Well now he knows hes being followed too

Danny just freaking out about Batman seeing his face. Turns out he never followed Batman unless fully invisible. All he wanted was to see how “real” heros did it. And it had been helping him with his fighting. To see how the pros are. He was always worried the “worlds greatest detective” would figure him out though so he stayed hidden. Also maybe hes a bit of a fan. I made Wonder Woman get the closest cause shes his fav probably.

AU where Eva survived the fire and had to figure out a way forward, believing the twins dead. She becomes an RPG shopkeeper selling wares ranging from antique books to magical goods (Devil May Scry). She's also out for Mundus' blood.

I had...so many more ideas that I'm leaving out to keep this short. It's fun to think how she'd mesh with the cast.

Like! her and Lady. Mother that lost her kid and kid that lost her mother. It writes itself how much unwitting projection can go wrong. And pretty much everything about her, the twins, and Trish :)

In terms of backstory:

After the fire she's alone. Her birth family disowned her long ago. She thinks about revamping the mansion but the idea of staying in that empty space with only memories for company is too much. So she eventually opens a small store.

Starts off paranoid and distant. Still is distant but gets entangled with the local community overtime. Greets people by name and they'll chat about how life has been going. This includes demon hunters and demons and supernatural beings living peacefully; her shop becomes a small safe haven to exchange information to stay safe.

Gets very good at forging protective charms. Haunted by the memory of the enchanted closet, smashed in and empty.

A regular is a schoolgirl who originally came to pick up reserved books for her father but stuck around because hey, this place is quiet and interesting, and the owner serves stellar teacakes. Great place to study. To Mary, Eva's kind, though odd, secretive and a little lonely.

I got inspired by Eva's association with the bangle/bracelet of time and the amulets for her fighting style. It's based around item crafting, like an RPG character slapping on every stat boosting item.

She stitches together different outfits for different needs Cardcaptor style. They're all exceedingly dramatic. It's not clear here but I wanted a bird motif to eventually come through. Phoenix motif, really.

Meanwhile the twins are having a terrible time but they have each other, even if they don't remember they're brothers. I think it'd be sweet if they have a bond anyway. Everyone else thinks they're rivals at best.

(Nelo is Mundus' favourite to toy with as the proud, eldest son. But when he gets rough, Bianco butts in and acts up for Mundus' attention. This gets him sent to solitary confinement; Mundus figured out Bianco hates small spaces and designed an iron maiden for him. Others think Bianco is a brute who acts out for a fight. But that's ok. It means Bianco can keep buying Nelo time.) (When lucid, Nelo despises his own weakness when this happens.)

Clay Headcanons ~

Clay had braces as a kid, he got them before the boyband days. The real Brozone fans know that he still had them during the very very early Brozone days.

He was given the “Fun boy” title because as a much younger kid, he would always laugh, try to tell jokes or prank his brothers

As he grew older he felt like his only quality was being the fun one, he felt like people would only love him if he was fun and he slowly resented it. He wanted to be more than just the comic relief

As a teen, he was just angry all the time. He felt like fans only saw him for his title and his family barely paid attention to him. He was the middle kid, he didn’t get all the attention the babies had and he didn’t have the appreciation of his older brothers. It was hard to feel seen in situations like that.

He snuck out a lot. He learnt from watching Bruce sneaking out multiple times.

He'd sneak out to go to his "serious" book club. He had loved reading as a kid and rarely felt like he would read in his house anymore. When he went to the book club he would change his hair colour and hide his face, he didn't want anyone to know he was the "fun boy", not when they saw him as something more. He was scared that if they knew they'd treat him differently.

Had the worst fights with JD. Not the most, but the worst. They’d both yell and both were too stubborn to back down. Clay would be pissed off over something but the argument always eventually circled around to the fact that Clay felt invisible and neglected and only when he acted out of line, JD would try to act like he was his dad, he would notice him for the wrong things and it would only piss Clay off more. He just felt like JD only saw him when he was at his worst

“You’re not my dad” or similar things would be thrown around a lot by Clay and every time it would hit JD like a pile of bricks.

JD: You can't just sneak out Clay! I can't watch over you if you keep disappearing! Clay: Why do you even care? Shouldn't you be with Bitty B right now or something? JD: Clay! I have to watch over you! It's my job Clay: Nobody gave you that job! You just want to be the boss! Pushing everyone around and pushing me into the shadows! Putting Floyd and B onto a shiny pedestal! Spruce sneaks out all the time! I don't see you getting up at him! JD: Spruce is old enough to make those dumb decisions! And someone has to look after them! Clay: You're not our dad!!! The answer isn’t no, not exactly. But Near doesn’t say anything.

The counselor sighs and moves on.

“So, have you read the Dialectical Behavior Therapy book I gave you?”

“Yes. I don’t agree with chapter seven and eight.”

The next day, they ask Roger to drive them to the town center and leave them there. They walk into a store at random—they never enter a store without knowing what it sells, if it sells what they want, it it’s open for the ten minutes they can spare to window shop—and stand between the woman’s section and the men’s. Casuals. Dresses.

Near wants to rest. Wants to have long hair, like the woman in the magazine. Wants to walk ten miles in the snow. Wants to hold something or someone close enough to feel their own pulse. How complicated, this job of being human.

They cancel their next appointment. Nobody mandated the therapy. The Dialectical Behavior Therapy was not the correct treatment for them. They did not feel emotions strongly. They were not mad.

The internet suggests EMDR. They buy another set of clothing, a size to big. They try on the leg brace, again. They check their skin in the mirror and don’t look at the eyes.

They plan to take a walk on Tuesday at 6 AM so no one will see how slowly it goes. How difficult. Nor the way they smile at the geese and play guessing games with the cumulonimbus. You’re too old for such pastimes.

Someone will call them, “ma’am.” Another, “kid.” Most frequently, “Sir.” Nothing sits right. Not the shoes from the store. Not the leg brace.

But they want to walk on.

They have to. Which isn’t a want, at all.

MadaTobi, Soulmate AU

The first time Tobirama witnessed his Kogami's sheer battle prowess was when he’s deeply undercover for an entire month in the Wind Country. 

( He was running out of food, Mada-kun made sure he was well fed. He didn’t know how or where the Kogami found the abundant food he fed him but Tobirama was thankful he had a Kogami to look out for him. He knew well enough he wouldn’t have survived his mission without assistance from his little companion ). 

Unexpectedly, on the last day of his mission. The Suna Clan that he was spying on had caught on to his presence amidst their little hamlet. As they flee in haste back to the Fire Country successfully toting a bunch of important documents and items. Mada-kun had impressively told him how to effectively navigate the Suna Desert. ( Which is mind numbingly shocking because how the hell does his Kogami know what to do when he never even strayed away from him? ). 

But even with Mada-kun’s assistance on how to navigate the traitorous desert, Tobirama still managed to unfortunately encounter a Squad of Nin slavers. As a pre-teen on the cusp of Adulthood, Tobirama cannot keep up fighting with twenty grown men who are far more experienced than him in terms of combat knowledge. ( He didn’t know what happen to his Kogami but he hoped that his little companion had managed to escape ). Confronting his enemies had then resulted with him getting his legs targeted and were naturally impaled with numbing poisons Suna Nins are so famous for. He thought he’ll be captured and sold by the end of the day. His mission failed and he’ll never get to see Anija again. 

He felt helpless tears bloom in his eyes and he whimpered. He desperately tried to cut off the net that encased his body but one of the men stepping on his wrist and threatening to break it had made him cower. He’s already injured enough, he didn’t want to add more to his body. He doubted these men and women would even heal him if he ended up severely injured. 

When the net he was captured in was dragged behind by one of the women. He tried so hard to stifle the terrified scream that wanted to escape from his dry throat. He wanted Anija. Anija would surely come to rescue him!. 

As suddenly as his desperate thoughts of being rescued bloom one after the other…

The blast of scorching flames incinerating the woman who’s dragging him made him snap out of his terrified thoughts. The woman never stood a chance, her burnt out husk slowly teetered to the side and fell down with a sick squelching sound onto the sandy ground. Tobirama stared, uncomprehending for a minute…what in the world?....

The other Slavers had immediately scattered in anger and despair. They looked around for their enemy but only Tobirama can see his Kogami blew out of his little mouth tremendous fires the likes he had never seen.

It felt like the Sun itself had descended from the skies. 

Tobirama shakes from where he lay unmoving in his net. His widened red eyes stares disbelievingly as the Slavers that captured him was mercilessly slaughtered by his little companion. The twenty Slavers were reduced to a mere four Members as they frantically tracked where their invisible assaulter was. Little did they know that the Kogami who killed their Members doesn’t even hide his presence. 

Tobirama felt the bile rising in his throat at witnessing the blazing fire his Kogami expertly wields. This is the kind of vicious flames that the Uchiha Clan had been using against his Clanmates. Only an Uchiha can wield a fire that could easily melt a body and leave it as only soot black ashes that scattered quickly in the wind. Tobirama trembled and braced himself. He closes his eyes in defeat as his suspicion was proven correct. Catching a glimpse of Mada-kun’s blood red eyes with the black tomoe spinning frantically in his irises, his little sharp fangs bared and his fur puffed up in anger….

For the first time in his young life he is so very afraid. This is the same feeling when Kawarama and Itama died. The sheer helplessness of his situation makes him burst into a terrified wailing. Otou-san and the Elders would surely kill him if they found out he had an Uchiha as a Soulmate. He and Mada-kun would probably be made as an example for any Senju who would dare defy them. He sob loudly  and desperately called out for his Kogami, but Mada-kun was busy killing the remaining Slavers and his sobs and tears slowly dwindled by the time Mada-kun had gotten him out of his improvised cage.

He quickly closes his eyes, he takes a deep breath  and he clutches Mada-kun tightly to himself…but as suddenly as the scorching Chakra appears it then disappears and reappears for a split second like liquid fire carefully being poured into a durable container?.

Tobirama slowly opens his eyes as Mada-kun pats his wet cheeks softly. He’s crying again?. Why is he crying?. He gasped and coughed desperately as the dense Chakra pressed heavily all over him. 

“ Tobira-chan. Its okay! You need to breathe okay! You’re safe now! “ his Kogami whispered softly in his ear and Tobirama did so but he suddenly also felt sick as the weightless feeling of floating in the air? overwhelm him. He whipped his head to stare up and he gaped in sheer surprise at seeing he’s encase inside an Avatar that was made up entirely of fiery dark blue Chakra?. It looks like a Tengu with its massive wings, elongated nose, it also had two faces, was clad in robes and ornate armor and had four arms that carried huge katanas!!!!

Tobirama trembled, terrified out of his mind. He slowly looked down at his Kogami. “ What have you done?, Mada-kun?. “ Mada-kun beams at him, affectionately snuggled into his neck and whispers delightedly. “ I protected you, Tobira-chan!. Don’t worry about the Susanoo. It’ll take us back to the border of Fire Country. So you just rest up for the moment, everything will be fine as long as I’m here. “

That was the last thing Tobirama heard before his vision dims and he knew no more.

My kiddo was diagnosed with ADHD in college - and frankly I have enough markers that I likely grew up with it too. It was not an ailment girls got, you see, when I was young, and when she was a kid, well, the district didn't want to "label" anyone. When I did, finally, force testing, she could read, so clearly she had zero issues, right? Just lazy, I guess.

So now she has a whole host of unnecessary self-worth/depression/anxiety/imposter syndrome struggles, simply because she's been told to try harder, work smarter, do better. She is the failure, not a system that did not acknowledge her struggle.

Do we tell a child who needs glasses to just squint harder? Do we make the kid with a broken leg just "walk it off"? If someone is left handed, don't we (today, I know my history) help them to learn to write in their own way, give them scissors that will allow them to safely cut paper? Don't we PRAISE the kid battling cancer for every milestone they reach, each school assignment they turn in, every tiny achievement? (And we should, and I'm not saying these examples deserve any less praise for their achievements or struggle - this isn't a competition, we can praise everyone, there's plenty to go around!) If a student uses a wheelchair or a cane or an arm brace due to disability - temporary or permanent, we will provide the support they need. The law and morality demands it.

Invisible disability can not be treated differently. ADHD, chronic migraine, autism, diabetes, severe food allergy - these do impact a kid's life, no matter how much a parent wants to deny it. To pretend it does not exist is a form of abuse - I'm sorry if I've hurt your feelings, but it is. "Normal" for children is what happens in their family - they don't learn otherwise until they experience other families in their teens and 20s. Helping a child navigate their challenges is the job of a parent. Sometimes that challenge is an untied shoe and no skill to correct it, sometimes that challenge is letters swimming randomly on a page, and sometimes it is that our body doesn't process lactose properly.

The world will not adapt to our kids. It is our job to teach our kids the skills and tools they need to navigate the world.

Not telling your kid they have a learning disability, chronic illness, mental illness etc. so they can “feel normal” actually does the opposite. They will not feel normal if they do not have the context to understand that their normal will be different from that of their peers.
