glass broken everywhere; the sound was loud and made your mind fuzzy

your knees are physically trembling, eyes watering and foggy

you couldnt even process dazai being there, did you even know he was there?

he needs to make your surroundings are safe before he can assess what the hell actually happened here

you answer him with a whimper, still trembling

he quickly sweeps the glass closest to you so he can grab your hand. you flinch but allow the touch otherwise so he can set you down

youre sitting on the floor while he picks up the rest of the glass

once he tosses the glass out into the bin, you couldnt hold it in as you started bawling

dazai quickly comes to you, he kneels in front of you trying to get your attention

thankfully you look at him and reach for him

he gently manuvers you onto his lap and allows you to curl into him

"o-osamu, I cant anymore, it.. it hurts"

the detecrive wont say anything more than a few short comforting whisperings and shushing you while he plays with your hair and gives your head a few kisses

he'll wait to move from the floor when you can breathe, and if you need a little guidance, he will see to it

"y/n, look at the palm of my hand. When we breathe in, you're gonna slowly trace all my fingers starting with my thumb, okay? You're gonna do the same thing when we breathe out. Go from the middle of my palm to the thumb, alllll the way to my pinky, can my lovely do that? here, lets do it together."

And slowly you inhale, you tickle his fingers when you trace the base of each of them up to his fingertips, then go back down to meet the following finger. You make your way back to his thumb and you exhale as you repeat the action all over again.

he'll pick your body up against his and he'll cuddle you in bed until you fall asleep

"my sweet girl, you did so well. I love you, have sweet dreams. I'll join you soon."

And when you wake up, you'll be met with your fav take out and a new spft blanket that was just in the dryer

"I dont like it when your sad, and I'm not good with nice words, but I can listen so spit it out so I can make you feel better."

the whole apartment was tidy and he was even making you your fav sandwhich

he even turned on your fav show before giving you lunch

when he was done your sandwich, he massaged your feet and ankles and even kissed your toes to make you laugh

SONIC HEROES BRAINROT TIME (pros and cons :) )

Cons:

The physics are terrible to deal with. I can’t blame sonic team, they tried their best in the time they had but,,,try playing casino park without rage quitting I DARE YOU. or rail canyon. or final fortress. okay, you’ll find yourself rage quitting a lot. and most of the time, yes, it is not your fault.  

You are obligated to go through the same stages 4 DIFFERENT TIMES. 14 stages. 4 different times. all teams have the same objective, except for team chaotix and that’s: reach the goal. 

You can’t unlock the last story unless you collect all chaos emeralds. Which is fair. But how exactly do you collect them? You have to acquire a key (there are a few scattered around the stages) but only on the second act of each “zone”. And, dont even dream of getting damaged. One wrong move and you lose all your rings and the key. So, you have to restart the stage or move on. 

Bonus stages. You thought the physics in the regular stages were a problem? Try this one. You move the joystick like 1mm and you’ll be thrown in the air and by the time you’re back on track the chaos emerald is like 67 miles ahead of you or your time’s up. If you switch to fly type during this by accident? Good luck reaching that emerald. Oh, and say goodbye to your thumb, it’s gonna get wrecked from how fast you are supposed to smash the button to boost. And the chao sections are horrible.

 Did i complain abt the physics enough? Did I analyze how attrocious and unforgiving the rail system is? I did? It deserves an extra bullet anyway. 

Ah yes, the boss fights. The ones with eggman are ridiculously easy, you spam one button, then wait till that energy fills up and lastly, do the blast attack thing (rinse and repeat the last steps) and done! They get quite repetitive and most feel like a mini boss rather than actual bosses. 

Dont get me started on the team fights. These are either too easy or unbelievably hard. That thing is COMPLETELY broken, I cant explain how frustrating it gets. 

While in this topic, the fights between the teams had absolutely no reason to happen? Everyone was in a bad mood and didnt want to socialize and thought fighting was the best option lol. 

Moving on to the story, Amy, no, you are not supposed to throw Sonic from a fucking building/arena because YOU WANNA MARRY HIM? Also, youre 12, the heroes manual states it, you SHOULDNT wanna marry anyone girl. 

Shadow why are you here? Weren’t you supposed to be dead? Oh, you lost your memory, awesome. *cough* fan service *cough* Okay but seriously? The fuck did they add Shadow for? My boy didnt even turn into super shadow in the end even though HE WAS RIGHT THERE. 

Also on that note, no super tails nor super knuckles. They get some fancy, glowing, bubble shields that make them fly alongside super sonic. No seriously, thats it.

There’s idle chatting in the pc version but you’ll never hear it cuz you have to stand still to trigger it. And thats a shame cuz its really good and interesting. 

Voice acting did not pass the check.

Pros:

Many playable characters! 4 teams, 12 characters, each with their special abilities (seriously, their abilities are cool, Espio literally turns invinsible) You can switch to whoever you want or whoever you need so you can proceed. Fun mechanic to include many characters.

The chaotix! They’re back! (sort of) Omega’s debut! Cream is here for her first 3d appearance!

The stages are quite a lot and there are a lot of interesting environments for you to traverse through. Starting from the classic valley, passing through a casino, an industrial area, a forest and ending up in the sky.

Also, you do go through all the same stages with the separate teams but there are a few differences. So, Team Sonic is a regular gameplay, Team Dark is a harder version of Sonic’s, usually longer stages and harder robots to deal with. Team Rose is very easy and each stage is quite short. Also features an extra tutorial stage in the beginning. Then there’s the Chaotix. You need to do a mission for each stage and there are a lot for you to do. 

Getting the key in the first act gives u the ability to go to the bonus stage and practice! Also gives you extra lives if you get enough points :)

The bonus stages are a reimagination of the bonus stages of sonic the hedgehog 2! The idea is really cool and it’s the first instance of sonic boosting in the entire franchise. 

Getting that A rank won’t be easy. You have to earn it. Idk, thats a good thing imo. The ranking system in some cases is a bit meh (team dark ocean palace im looking at you, 90,000 points in less than 4-5 mins? it’s just the 2nd stage, gimme a break) but overall it’s just right. 

You have a level system! It makes the game more interesting, trying to level up in each stage so you can unlock the better utilites of your character and make your job so much easier. The blast attack is a bonus as well! You earned it. Now kick robutt with just a push of a button. 

The music is literally iconic? So good? 11/10

Story-wise, the plot is pretty good for the most part. Every team is doing their own thing but ultimately they’re chasing the same thing (for different reasons, sure). Sonic and co. need to save the world, Dark try to catch eggman so they can get info abt why shadow cant remember shit (why did no one tell him he was supposed to be dead btw?), Rose are after chocola and froggy (in reality, theyre after sonic LOL) and the chaotix are trying to pay their rent. 

METAL SONIC IS THE REAL VILLAIN? WHAT DO YOU MEEEAAAAAAN? that was a cool plot twist (even if it was predictable after a certain point, it was still pretty cool okay?)

The interactions between the characters are very very interesting. You should check the idle chatting for everyone, really sums up their characters. 

SUPER SONIC HAS TAILS AND KNUCKLES BY HIS SIDE TO FIGHT THE FINAL BOSS, POWER OF FRIENDSHIP!

star trek: Lower Decks season 2

actions pact start. on the one side it's a very interesting conflict. on the other this feels like trying to undo the setup of the finally. ok, semi reset. like the option of them working together, but also maintaining the status quo

i do hope that main guy and main girl don't get together. i just think their relationship is so much better as a friendship. lamp shading animation errors. neat. odd to introduce a new character to just replace him with an old one.

ok. last episode did some lampshading. but if they just undo a major character death then that's just stupid. like maybe it's a reference to another show but that doesn't work in this show on it's own, and if the show doesn't work on it's own then that's a major weakness of the show. like if it's the plot of the episode great. but it better not be just a throw away joke or lampshade. so she's pansexual. it wasn't confirmed yet. yet somehow her being straight or even lesbian would be a bigger surprise. ok, they actually did something with it. more a joke, but at least it's something i can accept.

roles reversed episode... but like... one of the big points is the that higher up often do a very meh job. showing their job is hard is stupid ways fails on so many levels. the point has to that it's rigged right? ok, they made good use of it.

so here's something i just thought of: the conceit of this show is that many people want to rank up, going from lowest rung to highest officer. this... well it's stupid. lets compare it to me: i'm a programmer. if the company i worked at worked like this then tough hard work and showing of i could move up the ranks. manager, maybe HR, CEO... i would not be able to do that. well except CEO because in big companies that's not a job. no matter how good i show of to be at making a program that's not the training i'd need to lead a team. i'd prefer the person to lead the team to be a good leader over being a good programmer. of course understanding what your team is doing well enough is part of being a good leader, you can't be a leader in construction and become a leader store management without training and be any good. but a leader wouldn't need to understand how my code works to be a good leader. their method of ranking up makes sense for a show (or a game) as it means the protagonists (or you the player) have something they can work towards. but in reality it's a sign of at best outdated leadership structures. now it makes sense why star trek has it: it's an old show based of submarine battles. so of course it takes hints from the military, which stuck for a long time or even still sticks to going from the bottom to the top instead of training people for different ranks. and as i said it works well for narratives. but it's still worth pointing out.

wait... why is there a door for the spaceport inside which spaceships remain? a massive interior space without atmosphere. i mean, could be justified as keeping it safe from debris, but still seems silly. i mean i was going to save compared to smaller hatches for individual ships, but that would mean multiple gates while this just means one giant gate all ships have to pass trough. still feel silly, but i can make it make sense. i doubt they put this much thought into it.

i feel so much for the lady who got angry over the ballroom dancing competition having to be postponed. damn you empathy.

damn this is a cool setup. and i already know the twist, it'll all be for nothing as the other ship will be able to save itself. either ruining the captains chances for success or making her want to stay on the old ship.

People wouldnt really imagine that she would be a doctor since she is deaf and suffers from the genertic condition of waanderburg syndrome type two. People have such a genralistic idea of people who are deaf/ hard of hearing- that they cant do anything.

Meri:

A thing that people would imagine about Meredith is that she can make candy. It is something that they do whenever she is stressed or has a friends birthday coming up.

Avery:

Avery, they are 6 foot 3 and scary looking yet they spend most of his time outta prison making glass animals and they genuienly do enjoy being calm and chill- even if they threaten to break BACK into happy trails to go see their friends [and a certain all singing all dancing prison boy]

Solstice:

People would expect Sol to be angry and upset about the team of the invinsible two. But Para really does miss fires friends and Skip somewhat blames skipselves for what happened. They do still enjoy the cold despite celci freezing para alive.

Eliza:

Eliza looks like blasting brign me to life in a hurricane. She dresses in dark clothes and looks absolutely terrifying and acts like a complete bitch yet she is absolutely soft for children and baby animals. Seriously give this girl a baby duckling and she will just sit on the floor and go "well aint you cute!". Sure she will punch people who threaten to tell people that shes a softie at heart but yeh.

Cora:

Cora is surprsingly fast for a child whose been starved for most of their growing life. Shes able to climb and run around. she is friendly but she isnt a push over. Cora knows her rights and expectations and abilities in the world.

Caitlin:

She is a seven year old who works in the bostom homicide department and has two lesbian parents. Nobody expects a seven year old to know how someone died or how to do an autposy.

Now that I am 22, I can realize better just how less of an awareness and life experience I had at 16. Yet, you built the foundation of the amazing things that made me the person I love today, the person that I am, even though you only tried “because yeah”, not because you saw an actual future of yourself becoming that person. Hard to believe, but you did. You did! In fact, since self-growth and self-compassion is a never ending journey, at this point, we may even be a person further than what we dreamed in 2014, girl! I can’t express how lucky I am to have you as my past self.

“Thank you for the compliment, but isn’t that a bit too much? I’m not doing anything big in particular.”

No. Nila darling, no. You’re doing something extraordinary. I’m not exeggerating in the slightest, and I— I am amazed by the way your mind works. You were just a teenager, in fact feeling like an invinsible, lost, and irrelevant teenager, but deep down you knew what you wanted to do. And although you couldn’t word it out and you believed it was just a fantasy in your head, today you’ve once again proven yourself that this is in fact your reality. I can’t believe how genuinely I am impressed. Today, I am outsmarted by my 16 years old self.

Hey, Nila. You knew we’d end up here, right?

You were too afraid to speak it out— or even think about it explicitly. And even though it was scary to believe that you might in fact be here, even though you didn’t believe it at all, you lead me here. I’m here as a result of the choices you made. I’m here as a result of everything we built up in the past 6 years. I’m here because we went through the extremely tedious, challenging, loooooong and impossible journey that most people choose not to go; and now! We are here! We made it! Thank you, thank you. Give me a hug. We’re done. We’re finished. We’re who we are.

The real story starts from now.

I love you so, so, so much, and you’re so much more amazing than you thought! You outsmarted a scientist from the best college in the country! (You know which one we’re attending. Yeah. That famous one. We actually made it here.)

If you come across to your age 19, please take her out for a walk. Suicidal feelings will not last. If I could choose, I would still prefer not to have experienced depression and suicidal thoughts, no matter how much I “learnt” from them. However, it was an illness. Not only was I sick against my consent, but I am not to be blamed for falling sick. Please tell her to just hang in there, because she’ll have a kick start to her 20. In fact— just a couple months later, she will write a fanfiction that lead her to meet so many amazing people that are now in her closest-inner-circle. She’ll build so much courage, and she’ll shine just like you do. It’s going to be okay. Tell her we’re not mad at her. Tell her that she has rights to mourn or feel depressed, even, if that’s what she needs at that moment. Tell her that we got her back, and that we— and our loved ones— and in fact, our DOG, are waiting for her to come out when she is ready. Spoilers, she will certainly come out. So give her time. I’m from the future, so I know how events until now unfolded, ok? ;)

I think a big problem with rwby right now is that it just continues to want to be more and nothing else. There needs to be despair and even more despair and even more despair; More powers more abilities more magic. It started out with Semblances, Aura and Dust and that in itself is already like? A lot? Semblances have no limist they’re just superpowers and there’s no rules only whatever you can make up. At first they’re unique to every individual then suddenly Schnee semblance is hereditary and also basically an amalgamation of motion control, time dilution and summoning vanquished enemies? Aura is vague as shit and both powers Semblances and protect the user as a shield against physical attacks but also?? the cold I guess? Dust is elemental magic mined form the ground out of nowhere like goddamn coal and it’s properties are just? Elements I guess. Then suddenly, there’s maidens who have??? Idk powers in an alreayd super powered world but their powers are cooler? There’s also like four ancient relics with undefined powers of knowledge, choice, destruction and creation btw. Then suddenly there’s Ruby’s silver eyes which petrify Grimm (I know this was hinted at in the beginning doesn’t matter it’s suddenly there on top of everything else) and then there’s “magic magic” only Oz and Salem can do but what does it do exactly? Turn people into birds I suppose. 

It starts out with the White Fang and Roman Torchwick as villains. Okay sure, then come Mercury and Emerald okay? Then it turns out Mercury, Emeral and Torchwick and his new side chick neo all work for Cinder. But wait, the White Fang has a leader, it’s Adam taurus who is also under the control of cinder. no wait The leader is Sienna? Nevermind Adam kills her he’s the leader. And wait wait, they’re not all under the control of cinder! they’re under the control of this woman Salem, she’s terrifying! And then, you know turns out this woman is also! immortal, invinsible, super powerful, magicky and can create and control grimm. Oh yeah Grimm were als a kind of enemy I guess, but they’re under Salem’s control as well. Because Salem is in controle of literally everything and also she’s always ahead of everyone always always. So basically there’s despair , despair and more despair and that’s it.

There’s all this More and more and more and honestly, the show can’t handle it all, it can’t handle the worldbuilding that comes with new power (four superpowered individuals just been roaming the world nobody knows of them, four ancient relics also superpowered), new species or interspecies relationships or new characters even. Rwby was fun when it was just 4 random girls at some academy kicking ass and then the intricacies of dust, semblance and aura not being worked out didn’t really matter bc none of it was worked out it’s just silly but cool looking fights

Who is in charge?

“Ann that’s not fair.” Ace pouted at his twin sister, who just smirked at him. They were playing get the ball and Ann was using her brain to keep Sabo and Ace from taking the ball from her. She had placed it under her shirt and neither wanted to be the one to grab it from there. Sabo’s cheeks were slight red from embarrassement.

Casey and Luffy giggled, both having lost their balls to the trio still gaming. Whoever had all balls won the game and it was usual Ann, as she knew how to avoid the two boys from taking her balls.

“Life is never fair, brother. Deal with it.” Ann grinned, before dashing to get his ball. Under her arm was the ball of Casey, which she had easily snapped. The younger girl had not been focused enough, which happened now and then. She seemed far more interested in the insects around her, than the game.

As Ann dashed after Ace, Sabo tried to get the ball from her arm, but failed and ended up losing both his balls. He’d taken Luffy’s ball. It gave Ace a slight advantage, since Ann now had four balls to keep track of, while he had one. However, Ann was agile and smart. Ace could only run, hoping she would fall or make a mistake, so he could get one or two of her balls.

It took some time, but soon Ann was victorious again. Grinning in triumpf, she showed all five balls to them. Casey gave her thumbs up, before turning back to the ‘fight’ between her beetle and Luffy’s beetle. Their common interest in insects and beetles often distracted them from other stuff, but also made them closer. If they worked together, they were almost invinsible.

“You cheat.” Ace didn’t like having lost to her at all. Sure, she was a few mintues older than him, but it didn’t mean that she had to be strongest, fastest and smartest, right? He would one day win over her and be the one in charge for the day. That was his goal.

Ann stuck out her tongue and placed the balls down. “You’re just jealous because you aren’t as smart as me.” She flopped onto the ground, next to Sabo, who giggled lightly. He loved the small bickering and sibling rivalery between Ann and Ace. Both was headstrong and competitive, but also deeply cared for each other. No one should hurt the other or their precious little sister and brother.

Neither Luffy nor Casey was their biologically siblings, but that didn’t stop anyof them from calling each other brother and sister. Even Sabo wasn’t bonded to them by blod, but he was their brother. Ace and Ann were twins, while Casey was the biological older sister of Luffy. Sometimes Sabo felt left behind, as he didn’t have what they had, but just when he felt like that, one of them made him feel like he was their brother and blood didn’t matter.

“So what is for lunch, Ann?” Sabo asked. The winner was in charge for the day and also decided what to hunt for. Since Ace and Ann both were keen on wanting to be in charge, it was something they had agreed on. Playing a game every morning and whoever won, was in charge or could decide who was in charge.

“Hmm. I think boar.” Ann mused, earning a cheerful screech from Casey. The younger woman loved boars. It was always fun hunting them, though dangerous, especially consider that none of the five was older than 10 years. Still, they were stronger than most adults ever would be.

Ace, Sabo and Luffy grinned, loving the challenge of going hunting for a boar. It had been a while since they last had boar, so it was not a decision they hated. Standing up, they went to grab their pipes, ready for the hunt. Casey bounced even more, grabbing her hunting knife - a gift from a pirate she saw as a father.

“Let’s go. I’m hungry.” The young woman declared, making everyone, but Luffy, laugh fondly. They knew that both Casey and Luffy always were hungry, espeically when the talk fell on food. It didn’t matter if they had just eaten.

The five children placed the balls back into their treehouse, before they went out to hunt. It wasn’t a pretend hunt, a game they played. No, this was their life. They had to hunt their food themselves, or they would only have a bowl of rice for dinner. It was a harsh life, but it strengthen them for the adult life that awaited them. All wanted to sail the seas and to do so, you had to be strong and capable of standing on your own feet. This harsh childhood helped them with that.

Rebekah loves spending time just with Niklaus.She does love her other siblings, but with Nik she shaares a special bond. Unbreakable one. Too afraid to see him hurt, she asked him to take a wooden sword to protect her with against the invinsible monsters, while she is making flower crowns, sitting on the grass. He is her knight in imaginary shining armor. 

Rebekah grows frustrated when she can’t spend much time with Nik anymore. The more they grow up, the more his time is occupied by training with Elijah and hers - studying herbs with her mother. So now that they have this moment to themselves, she doesn’t let herself think about anything else. 

She notices the piece of wood is no longer splitting the air around them and she sees her brother kneeling a few meters away, his back turned to her. The moment she starts worrying, however, he jumps back on his feet and spints to her. The girl lifts her head to meet his eyes, when he bends in front of her and then kneels on one foot. In his hands he holds a beautiful flower, one she didn’t have and she knew it would be perfect to finish her flower crown. However as charming as his gift is, it’s his words that bring tears to her eyes. As innocent as she is, she doesn’t fully understand the true meaning of his words, yet she says them back to him. “ Always and forever! ”
