The eyes, long nose, monochrome coloring, and circles on the cheekbones match up pretty well

And also I dont know how many people remember this but if you clicked on the right eye of the investigation1 image you could hear whistling and supposedly breathing although I never heard it. (I wanted to screen record it but the audio wouldn’t play on the wayback machine)

“Bon” whistles while Susan is looking for him in Wonderland and she is also breathing heavily while he’s at it.

I say 90% because honestly this “evidence” is pretty flimsy but I still found it interesting that the two faces look similar

Findjackwalten 07/14/23 Update Walkthrough

Last night Findjackwalten updated! We've got one page update and two new pages. Let's start:

Our main page has updated! Jack and Rose's pictures are gone, and the whole page is greyed out now as opposed to being red. The shutdown text has changed to read "You just couldn't stay home, could you?". The play button here still works, with all new audio. It's a car radio, first it's an afternoon weather report, then just some talk radio intermission, and then it's music. There's also car noise, tires on asphalt, chair squeaks, turn signal, and general Car Creaking.

I've already seen some people theorize that this is audio from Felix's drive home after the crash, but that doesn't make a lot of sense to me since that's already what Guilty is. Feels redundant, as much as I love the idea of Felix driving home listening to Yummy Yummy Yummy by Ohio Express.

This page's URL and title is in Spanish. It just means "Martin secret lair do not enter" and the title "q pasa tia" in this context is like, "whats up, girl?". Kinda gossipy. Meant to invoke a vibe that you're being let in on a secret.

The top of this page reads "92%", referring probably to the percentage of TWF4 that is completed. The rest of the page contains "3 funny walten facts" Which are:

This is so fun to me! I did always think Bon was pretty hare-like. Funny that Jack wanted Bon to be a Jackrabbit. Also I can't believe "Bon The Dancing Rabbit" is still real. It's been so long since I've heard anybody call him that I kinda figured it was retconned.

This is something we sorta already knew? Relocate Project implied this sort of thing But I guess we didn't really know how successful their merch ventures were until now. Turns out, they were pretty successful! The "Showstopper's Comedy Extravaganza" thing is crazy to me though, three seasons? That 'what was the money for?' comment is also very ominous. It makes me think of the planned relaunch of Bon's Burgers but considering how vague the comment is and how the Bon's Burgers relaunch was something we already knew about, I'm wondering if it's something else.

How do I even comment on this. This is just so fucked. It makes me sick to my stomach. She was homeless for three years? Homeless? For three years? As a teenager? I feel like i'm undergoing hitherto unexperienced Sophie Emotions. What the hell do I even say.

Just a whole page of behind the scenes stuff! This is also hard to comment on, really. It'd be easiest if you just went and looked at everything yourself.

There's a little play button here with Anything Goes by Cole Porter, but I think it's been edited to sound more echo-y. Like it's being played in a big empty room, but also like the next room over? I've listened to a few versions of this song before but none that sound quite like this. This is also the song that's referenced lyrically in the new years 2022 version of /investigation1, with this bit of writing:

A decent bit of the stuff on this page is from the old Patreon, but not all of it, or even like, half of it. And some stuff (like the blue and purple Felix drawing) is old concept art that had been shared in the Discord server before.

So, about this founders photo.

I think we can all agree, that the fact that it was taken and the work on the BB restaurant continued as normal up until the disappearance of Jack, means that Felix was very much on the loose and free of any police investigations at the time. This could tell us a few things.

If after the crash the police were involved, they would have gotten him arrested right away, due to damning evidence (I doubt that he had the time and resources to get rid of the damaged car or to clean the crime scene). That, or Jack and Rose, who clearly at least suspected him to be at fault, would have told the cops right away, "that's him, cuff him boys". The fact that Felix is free as of 5/18, tells us that this didn't happen. It is further supported by the fact that we haven't really seen Edd and Molly's missing posters around (correct me if I'm wrong here, but I do not remember any). The investigation on the /investigation1 FJW page back in the day clearly concerns the later missing persons cases, the ones connected to BB, especially Jack's.

From this, we can draw a conclusion that Jack and Rose didn't call the cops on Felix. There could be a few reasons for this, my main guesses are ignorance to his role in Edd-Molly fate, or conscious decision not to do so. The first one is bullshit because Jack clearly blames him, judging by his phonecalls, and you gotta be a next-level kind of naive to not see the connection of all the surrounding facts. This leads us to the most likely conclusion: the Waltens never called the police on Felix knowingly, for some personal reasons. And kept doing BSI stuff with him.

Another reason could be, going back to the ignorance theory, that Felix made up a lie so ridiculously plausible and believable, that not only did the Waltens free him of any suspicion, they didn't pursue anyone else NOR initiate an investigation. This is hard to believe, but there is always room for a plot twist. It should also be noted that the decision not to go to the police could have been motivated by some pressure from Felix (blackmail, hostage situation, brainwashing, whatever), which is also an unlikely theory, but still possible.

The Price of Mortality || Lucian || Chapter 1 | Body Reaction

Lucian begrudgingly logged in and slowly, ever so slowly, made his way out of the room. He was tired. It was too early. Er. Late. It was definitely late and he, a creature of the night, should be heading to sleep. Except that he wasn't nocturnal even when left to his own schedules. 

Everyone looked like they were there in the hub, so he didn't get why so many people were acting antsy. Lucian yawned and then folded his hands behind his head, leaning back just a bit to stretch his back. 

(It would be soon, wouldn't it? The next hallucination, which would be... longer. How long was it supposed to be again? All he could do was brace for it.)

But then they warped into the Behavioral Psychologist's room, and he was hit with the smell of blood.

A lot of blood.

And laying in it was the girl who had arranged the party...? But hadn't she been...? 

Lucian looked around the group and quickly spotted Michi, who was in the right clothes. So then this girl was someone else, someone he hadn't spoken to. That realization hit him with a pang. And, after checking the keycard, he gave a slow nod. 6 hours. "It's... been too long, I can't try to turn her or anything." If he'd been here sooner, then maybe he could have. 

But he hadn't been.

He stared at the body for several moments before backing away, towards the couches. Picking one, he sat on it and turned to watch the people around the body and the body itself.

Kotori has just casually walked on to the deck that morning without thinking a thing in favor of watching the sunrise and eating ice cream and sandwiches. Shaking up a meal every day helped her enjoy the snack bar a little more, but she was most definitely boared of it. By the time she’d settled in with a full stomach, the morning announcement went off. Huh... that’s odd. It was kind of early for that to set off.

Well... that’s just how it was, huh? She threw her plate away and trotted downstairs to greet those rising from the ashes. Instead... she found a large crowd around the guest services desk, leaving Kotori in a state of confusion. She walked up to the crowd, standing on her tiptoes to get a good look at what everyone was looking at. Too short... Instead, she made attempts to weave in between two other bodies... THAT on the other hand, worked.

She blinked, her expression entirely blank. Her gaze went from the center to the other students, to the center to the other students.

“... What’s everyone up in a tizzy about? I’m... confused. There’s nothing here.”

Were people... crying? panicking? ... Why? Why would anyone cry over an empty desk?

“Sh-Should we... go get ice cream? That makes me feel better.”

i am excited to hear you're thoughts on shadowman felix

Okay okay I'm home now I can talk about this. I do not think Felix is the shadowman, I know its likely, but I just have a very difficult time seeing it. Note I just got off work and I'm genuinely so tired so this might not come out as clearly as I'd like it and I sincerely apologize for that I'll probably make a different post with much better wording another time when I'm not on the brink of falling asleep.

A lot of people view the Shadowman as the person possibly behind the deaths of everyone else. Someone whose killing for some unknown reason and only specifically targeting people of Bon's. A lot of people view Felix as someone who will (or would) kill with purpose, and I'm not saying its not reasonable to see him that way seeing as who he is in TWF, but I think thinking like that makes people forget that Felix didn't purposefully kill Ed and Molly.

So what reason would he have to go out of his way and kill other people, when they all seemingly (so far) didn't know it was him who was the reason the kids went missing?

The only person I could reasonably see Felix even killing, is Jack, and even then I have more reason to believe he would have done it through accident or impulse rather than with purpose, having to later hide the body and living with that guilt on top of the guilt he already had.

"But Freem Walten, didn't the lyrics say the Shadowman knew he crashed the car?"

Yes! The lyrics from the one song I can't remember off the top of my head did say this, but what I think its referring to is possibly someone having seen Felix bury the kids in the forest, and knowing what Felix did, rather than it implying the Shadowman himself knows he crashed his own car. Felix was on a highway? freeway? whatever? I don't think it was that late into the night, anyone else could have been driving by or been there at the time and anyone could easily hold this over Felix's head. For what gain I do not know.

"But wouldn't Felix have known about Rosemary and or Susan (maybe Charles) since they all died in Bon's Burgers. The Shadowman saw that, or at least saw Rosemary's death."

Yes, I think its a bit unreasonable Felix wouldn't have been aware of the bodies in Bon's, especially if we consider Susan possibly was there longer than anyone since she starved, but hear me out: What if Felix didn't proccess that they were bodies? Felix, going off the info from Investigation1, is still drinking. Drinking and its long term affects can really mess with your head and memory. On top of this, Felix was in a wreck and I doubt he went to any medical professionals after. He very clearly (going off the image in Guilty) slammed his head because its bleeding, and going off how often he might record things (Ex: after the crash, in the most recent preview for the next episode (?)) I think Felix might have some serious memory problems. Like horribly awful memory problems. And uses recordings to make sure he doesn't forget things? And memory problems combined with being drunk, can make you assume you might be seeing/hearing things. If Felix did see the bodies, he could have very easily been too drunk to proccess they were real, and might have assumed maybe they weren't there like he thought. Guy could be fully unaware Bon is doing anything, and it would make some sense too, seeing as his not all there half the time. Getting to my point I think the shadowman himself might be someone possibly manipulating Felix, for what? I don't know to get control over Bon's themselves, maybe they had something against Bon's Burgers or BSI or even Cyberfun and wanted to make the two companies look bad. I don't think Felix is...smart?? Enough? To go out of his way to kill people and make sure what he did stays a secret when killing more people would only make the situation worse for him. This of course is all going off like...the idea that the Shadowman is the reason Bon's attacking, killing, whatever. I also don't think Felix is smart enough to know how to mess with Bon in order to make Bon start acting up like it is (assuming Bon isn't just haunted)

OKAY! I actually have time to talk about Spectacle now.

For anyone not in the know, Spectacle is a "Walten Files Minisode" which released on the 11th. Its really good! It has a lot of fun and interesting stuff in it which I want to talk about.

So evidently this video is of some kind of production from the "Local 57" news channel/television network which keeps being referred to (IMO. i think this reference is a little too on the nose if this network keeps being so relevant but whatever. my 2 cents). This video doesn't really seem like a news report to me, though. More like a true crime spotlight. And if I'm hearing the reporter correctly when she talks about when Bon's Burgers opened "4 months ago, around the summertime" (or maybe "some months ago"?), this is actually a pretty recent retrospective on the disappearances.

We hear a lot from Derek Collins in this video also, the same detective (Here we learn he is in fact, the Chief Detective of the Brighton Police Department) from the original /investigation1 Findjackwalten page. Here he's pretty much just repeating the same shit as on that webpage. He talks about how there were those 6 total missing person's cases filed that summer (including, I assume, Edd & Molly.) and how they stirred up a lot of unrest within the Brighton community, and how there were rumors flying around about everything for a while.

And really, I think the only New information we really glean from this video is getting a better idea as to what the Brighton community's response to the 1974 disappearances really was. We know for sure now that, at least in the relative short term, it was a pretty big source of rumor and speculation for a while. It's also interesting to me that the July 19th Bon's Burgers Incident was tied to Rosemary so quickly? Considering that seems like kind of a smoking gun. Hoping we get more information soon about what exactly the relationship was between Bon's Burgers/Felix and the Brighton Police Department was like, and why this pretty damning, albeit circumstantial evidence, never lead to any arrests.
