I had a few random Gymrat!AU thoughts earlier.

So. Roman and Janus have chronic illnesses (CKD and psoriatic arthritis, respectively). They're both aro and and very into each other, if you know what I mean. They usually try to navigate where each other are at when it comes to fatigue/pain levels and all that jazz.

But sometimes on a high spoons day for both... they misjudge it and both crash out after a particularly intense adventure. Leading to humor and angst (Roman > Janus) and dorkiness and all that, while they recover in the next several days.

(At least Jan has help they can hire so they can get through it alright. It just do be like that sometimes.)

Since Remus and Logan are both in IT... and always had a prodigal understanding about how tech works. You can bet they were The Obligatory Free Tech Support in their respective families, growing up.

(And given that Ro is kinda hopeless with tech, you can bet Remus having to come in to save the day was a FREQUENT occurrence.)

Virgil's a gamer, his level of tech literacy is mostly on the level of "did i turn it off and on again?" and "Is it even plugged in?"

Outside of those measures, I could def could see him get those services from his partners (Romantic Dukexiety + QPP Analogical) there. He probably doesn't need to try very hard at all.

what made you ship it? honestly? their potential in poly dynamics. i admittedly think abt these two WAY more as a part of intruanalogical or analodemus than on their own. but also yknow. chaos and chill bfs.

what are your favorite things abt the ship? i am so Silly abt their h/c potential. on the logan end of remus managing to sooth him bc hes the only one logan has 0 expectations of dignity with. on the remus end of logan being so endlessly patient with him in a way no one else is, just.. excepting his chaos as it comes.

Summary: Six people – friends, frenemies, and ex-besties, but theater folk to a one – are stuck carpooling home after a play when Janus’ car refuses to start. Unbeknownst to them, a strange storm has descended upon their town, and it somehow transports them into a strange version of their normal town. They must try to find a way back home while running from the mysterious landscape of this new world and, worse still, their own emotional baggage.
